"A Groundworks Coffee location in the Arts District/Downtown LA was also listed as a site visited by the recently-traveled measles patient during July 14–16, 2019, leading the county health department to track the patient’s movements for possible exposure notifications. Officials said the case is separate from prior April and May clusters and emphasized that although unvaccinated individuals present during the exposure window could be at risk, there is no known current threat at the venue. The Health Department reiterated that measles is highly contagious (symptoms typically develop 7–21 days after exposure) and that vaccination is the best defense; residents should check immunization status, consult a public health clinic, or call 2-1-1." - Mona Holmes
