I come to this farmers market every week for years. Recently a vender has had live animals in a cage. Please, do not allow live animals for sale on the market. It changed the whole vibe of the market. If you care about a long time customer who comes in rain and 90 degrees all year long to support local framers, please do not allow live animals for sale on your market. Im still giving a 5 star because I know many vendors but the live animals are new and very sad looking in a cage while people are having fun. Please keep the farmers market happy and fun for all as it has been for years. Leave the live animals out. What's next? Little piglets? Bunnies?

Love the vendors and the people. The Kelly Garcias and Co and Ljuba Custom Designs are available Mondays from 4pm-8pm with your tumblers and shirts. We also do custom orders. So by and check us out!

I go there periodically to shop and give religious books and pamphlets away . I usually have a nice experience but yesterday I went there and I was greeted by several vendors very nicely . So I run into one man who greeted me once again very nicely. But the booth where the man was shopping the vendor started cursing and shouting at me . He was a total jerk. This is a picture of him. The man with black shirt.

Went with friends and got all sorts of great stuff! We had a beer and walked around, checking out all the booths. Plants, fresh fruit and veggies, amazing cheeses, dips, meats, polish food, pierogies...so many things to choose from, even clothing and candles! Definitely worth the visit, but parking is sketchy.

I have no problem and truly enjoy the Farmers Market as a whole. However, there's a small fraction of them who have zero respect for pedestrians and drive their motor vehicles onto the pedestrian trail with no regards of people using it. If I hadn't stopped while running on the trail, the white van who pulled in front of me as I was running, would have hit me .Thing is no one cares except pedestrians using it, not the ones in the vehicle, not GPD, and not even many if other pedestrians unless it effects them personally. With that, the majority of the Farmers Market are respectful and the Farmers Market itself has a lot to offer with food and other items.

Let me start off by saying my dog is a fully trained service dog. However, I used to love bringing her to this market “off duty.” In her mind, no vest means that she gets to be a dog - saying hi to strangers, sniffing around, etc. the main area is now service dog only, so to enter have to be in service dog mode. What a shame

Grove Street Farmer market which is open every Monday all year round, rain or shine, is the absolute best farmers market, PERIOD. The atmosphere is comfortable for everyone, even those who are in wheelchairs, mobile chairs or any type of handicap. The offerings from the loss is unbeatable. Each farm stand has an abundance of variety of produce to choose from (all high quality) and the other vendors has offerings you cannot find elsewhere especially for the quality that is being offered. Cypress Grove and brewery is accessible and has a delicious variety of ciders to choose from, there are always a large selection of local food vendors to choose from for a meal. There are options for every diet, my family and I are vegan and we always are satisfied with the food and desserts options. This is an absolute recommendation for the family!!

Yelp
Really nice farmers market open Mondays starting 4:00 p.m.. there is usually live music and a whole plethora of vendors selling produce bread supplements food and drink. They're also a couple of trucks selling food from mobile kitchens. A joy for everyone.

Yelp
A local farmer's market in Gainesville! They offer local produce, meat, eggs and artisan crafts. It's only open on Monday afternoons from 4-7pm. Life is good with farmers!
