"Growing Concerns, Mile End Bow. Deceptively large, this friendly local gardening shop is nestled next to the Hertford Union Canal on the south east corner of Victoria Park.Selling everything a budding gardener could need in the city, the centre is also the perfect place to pick up a Christmas tree in December."

Very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff. Fantastic selection of good quality plants, albeit a little expensive. Plenty of room to browse and a Loren, their gorgeous cat! Correct change is always welcomed. A fresh flower section would be a welcome addition!

Great range on green plans, though slightly lacking in flowers. Nevertheless a fine location between the park and canal. And plenty to purchase for your garden or house.

Great selection of moslty outdoor plants for gardens by also a strong I door section. Good prices and ranges of accessories availed from soil to twine. Open on Saturdays and Sundays, really friendly atmosphere and staff. All plants I got there are healthy and raging on my balcony.

A great nursery that we keep going back to. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. And the plants are very well looked after and good quality. The selection is quite limited by the size available, but it’s constantly changing and is seasonal so well worth going back to.

This is a good little garden centre situated next to the canal and Victoria park. Though it's not huge, they have a good selection of plants and the staff and knowledgeable and quite fair (the chap at the till tried to convince a customer that he did not need to purchase as much weed killer as he thought he did). We will definitely go back when we need to get more gardening supplies.

I went to look for a succulent to buy for a friend of mine as a present and found none. I understand it's winter but they have a green house. I remembered the place from the summer and it was amazing and rich but in the winter the choices, compare another places, are very poor. Otherwise,it's a nice shop by the canal for outdoor plants.
