18 Decadent Milkshakes To Try in Dallas

"Grub Burger Bar has plenty of shakes to go with its long list of burgers. Try the Dirty Kitchen Sink, which blends chocolate vodka, pretzels, peanut butter, salt, butterscotch sauce, caramel sauce, chocolate chips, coffee grounds, and potato chips." - Rachel Pinn

Pretty good burgers. Tasted great Update 03/22: Got the Hot Mess sandwich today. I appreciate the originality, fried chicken, mac and cheese, and bacon all between two buns. But, it was just alright. Also got sweet potato fries, perfectly salted, but half were overcooked and too hard.

I usually like to stick to rating just the quality of the food but this time I do have to shout out the staff at Grub Burger Bar for outstanding service, proper COVID protection measures, and exemplary professionalism in the care they show their customers and employees. That aside, if you’re craving a burger, fries, and a milkshake look no further than Grub! I’ve been multiple times now and everything I’ve tried has been amazing!

WOW! I would give this restaurant 7 stars if I could. Food - The burger (Lockhart Burger) was very good from top to bottom. The fries were surprisingly very good too. It had an extra crisp and kick that I found to be very satisfying. This place is great not only because of the food but also because of the service. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The owner of the store greeted me personally. Overall, I would highly HIGHLY recommend. It’s more than just a burger spot. You’ll be glad you came!!

A little overpriced for the quality. Got the chicken tenders and they were okay, nothing special. Burgers were good! Especially mac and cheese and avocado burgers. Sides are hit or miss - onion rings are a yes, brussle sprouts have too much balsamic vinegar. Got the mint chocolate chip milkshake and it was pretty good! I've also heard dirt and worms milkshake is awesome.

Really good sides and really good burgers. Came in for mother's day and got cheese fries, brussels sprouts, and a scorpion burger. Decent price for a huge portion of cheese fries, and the sprouts were super good. Burger was delicious and not too spicy in my opinion.

I came here mid-day on a Thursday, right when happy hour started. It was virtually dead because the lunch rush probably had already cleared out, so we had everyone to ourselves! This was my first time here so my friend had the Wagyu Burger with Onion Rings and I had the Guacapotle Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. With my burger I added Inferno sauce because I wanted it spicier - I should've listened to the server because the Scorpion sauce is apparently even spicier and I felt that Inferno was only a mild kick, but that's me trying to breath fire during my meal 🤣 My burger was still delicious, cooked perfect as medium rare, juicy, and exploding with flavor from the sauce and added guac and pepper jack cheese. The onion rings didn't have that overwhelming taste of oil and the sweet potato fries were crispy but not overcooked and therefore too crispy. They gave us jalapeno ranch and a spicy ketchup (think Whataburger 😋) with our meal and they paired great with our rings and fries. I also had the Spicy Pineapple Rita (cocktails are a dollar off for happy hour which is honestly not the greatest happy hour deal...) that had a nice spicy kick to it and was made with actual agave instead of a mixer. The only complaint overall is that they don't have too many happy hour drink specials, but honestly you're probably coming for the burgers here so that can be overlooked (especially when the drinks aren't too expensive in the first place)! I had some really good food, good service, the restaurant was clean and organized - as was the bathroom - so this is a definite place to come for a gourmet burger if you're on Greenville!

I was driving from Shreveport to OKC and specially did stopover in this place as I love Grub burgers. Burger with blue cheese was fantastic! There is a bar in the middle of the dining area, just in case you want some drink. Notable, there is a big parking lot infront of the building where Grub burgers. Parking is not free, but if you dine in Grub burgers, they validate your parking ticket, so you won't pay for parking

Another successful burger destinations here on Greenville Ave. It has the same ordering process like Hopdoddy Burger Bar, and the prices are about the same as well. Pretty slow on a Sunday evening so service quick and attentive. The joint is attach to a bigger office building so can be easily miss so keep look out for it. There is plenty of parking which is usually a problem when trying new restaurants on Greenville Ave. The Scorpion burger is highly recommended for those looking for spiciness and flavor and their homemade sauces are a must (inferno and jalapeños ranch). Their sweet potato fries are quite good, the crispiness and seasoning was spot on. For dessert, the Kitchen Sink Shake is the go to shake. Once you see what’s inside you’ll know why it’s called the Kitchen Sink. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs.
