El lugar es increíble , la vista de la laguna es increible, el show de fuego es la parte mas emocionante de la noche. Los meseros son super amigables y hacen parte del show todo el tiempo. La comida es increible. Deliciosa y conncreativa presentacion. Me encanta Rosanegra . Es caro

Si calificó el lugar y el ambiente le doy definitivamente las 5 estrellas y más , pasamos una noche súper agradable y ambientada . Sin embargo la comida y mixologia queda mucho que desear . Las fotos Son algunos de los platillos que pedimos , más otros que no tome fotos como tacos y sashimi. Mi platillo fue la pasta y creo que fue el peoorrr de todos me toco comer mas de un camarón con aún su tierra por dentro ( por no poner otra cosa ) Para el costo que paga uno por platillos y bebidas,!!! falta bastante buen sazón . Pagas por el ambiente y lugar más no por la comida .

This place is amazing for friends and dates, or even families without kids. It's very entertaining. They have a fire show, and some drinks and dishes have like a special show, so music it's on the louder side on those moments. The menu mostly steaks and seafood. We tried a couple of the ceviches, and there were tasty. Plates were very well portioned, specially the Risoto de camarón y la arrachera. They cocktails, and wine, a fairly good selection. Our servers (Abril, y Gerardo) were very attentive, and knowable. All the recommendations were spot on. They don't have a kids menu, but they do have burgers, and they don't serve Chichen.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Before ordering, we asked multiple times whether the charges would be in USD or MXN, and we were assured--FOUR TIMES--that prices were in pesos. After ordering and drinking a bottle of champagne, we were suddenly told it was $2,400 USD, not 2,400 MXN as we were led to believe. We NEVER agreed to that price. Oh, and cant forget the water they changed us for...we didn't even ask for water, they just started pouring it... $90 for water....are you f'ing kidding me? When we brought up this blatant deception, the staff refused to help, and the manager wouldn't do anything. Their only response? "Business is business." Absolutely disgusting. This place is a scam. Avoid it unless you want to be overcharged and treated with zero respect.

This has to be one of the best recommendations from seeing an ad at the airport when we got to Cancun. Its a high end dinning entertainment expirience that you will not regret. Not all their hourly shows are great but make sure to ask what time will the 1st show start the night you decide to go. Also what show will be going on at the time you reserve. Shows start about every hour & every show is about 10 mins so arrive early. The night view of the lagoon n harbor are picturesque. The ambiance is a little loud, interactive and they do a good job to get you in a party mood. It is a restaurant so no age restriction just be cognisant they turn off the lights, give you fire sparklers, stand on the chairs and when the bongos start... people get up n dance! You get complementry truflfe bread with salsas n Tostadas. The food had good flavor and decent size portions. This is a restaurant that truly can be worth expiriencing a few times.

This place is a really nice fun place to be. Our service has not once disappointed. Food is always great. When we get to travel we don't miss our chance to come back here.

We had an absolute blast for dinner here. This is a club like atmosphere with a side of dinner and a show. Great service from the staff and entertainers. Loved the female DJ. The food was delicious. This restaurant group has a lot of different properties. We visited 3 while in town and loved them all.

Ambiance is amazing great spot with amazing views. We got the Cesar salad - table side! Hamachi - extremely tasty Ribeye steak w/ veggies + mash potatoes - spectacular highly recommend!! Plus + cucumber tequilas margs - delicious House bread - flakey crunchy filled with Gruyère cheese (hope I spelled it ok) Service is A1. Very hospitable. 10/10 all around If you want the show it's Monday and it's at 9:15pm / our rez was at 7. I'd call to see if they got earlier shows. Th-Sunday are more packed. It's super open and prolly 15-20% filled on a Monday during December

Great place to eat away from the resort. I ordered the Catrina cocktail which was great and came with a fun light up skull. As a good vegetarian starter I ordered the Humita empanadas. It was very small. It came filled with corn and cheese and accompanied by a sauce. Overall I enjoyed it and wish I ordered more. For my vegetarian entree I ordered the Mushroom risotto. This was the only fulfilling option on the menu. It came out well, very soft and mushy as risotto often is. The mushroom slices were limited but overall cooked well. At some point they had a fire show. You really have to be more out in open dining area to enjoy. We had kind of a private area so didn't see any of the show. Outside seating is lovely however the tables a bit tight if you have a large group you will be cramped.

Celebrated our 5th Anniversary in the most amazing restaurant. The location is right off the main strip and very easy to navigate. We were greeted promptly and taken to our table. The location has an inside and outside option but outside is what our butler suggested to see the show at 9 pm. We ordered drinks I got the Naughty Bird all the drinks were presented beautifully. The taste matched the look it was delish. We order burrata, ceviche, beef empanadas, and a steak dish. All the food was delish my fav was the risotto and steak. The highlight of the night was the fireworks show. They get a 10/10 for entertainment. They also offer free wine in the bathroom. We loved it so much. The restaurant also brought us sparklers and dessert for our anniversary. We can't wait to try other restaurants apart from this chain.

We were in Cancun for a friend's 40th birthday. This restaurant definitely caters to parties. They had fire dancers and a show the night we were there. It was an overall great experience. We ordered a round of shots, fish they cook table side, octopus for appetizer and they have vegetarian options, as well. The service was okay. The staff were ripping and running. We spent a lot of idle time waiting for food, waiting for our check etc. They don't spit checks so know that before you arrive.

Everything from the drink, the food, the ambiance is top tier. Service is immaculate. I tried the steak with ricotta in truffle highly recommend!

Do not recommend. For this price point, the service should be significantly better. Food is average. Be careful with billing as they messed up our bill.

My boyfriend made a reservation on valentine's day and payed extra for the table that includes an experience. There was absolutely no experience. We ordered guacamole for an app that never came after waiting over an hour. Our reservation was for 8:30 and 9:45 still no app. Guac. Our server was nice but would get annoyed and leave us mid talking to him when we weren't ordering fast enough. We ended up leaving with not even an app by 10:15. We understand it's valentine's day but they should have the staff to actually attend people on a busy day. We didn't even get offered water. It's also very loud so i don't recommend as a date you will have to yell at each other from across the table. Show was only 2 mins long. Honestly not worth the hype or wait

Food 3/5 - We came here for the special New Years dinner and our reservation were at 10:30pm. The experience was exciting and interesting. It was a set menu and all of the food was good but not outstanding for $800. Both my partner and I do not drink so unfortunately I'm very convinced I got food poisoning from their chocolate cake dessert. Service / Ambiance 4/5 - The atmosphere is lively and fun! They had a DJ, along with entertainment staff, active servers/waiters, and even passed out sparklers. Our server was pretty hard to flag down to get the bill but all an all it was a fun experience minus the food poisoning.

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 12/5/2023- 9 pm reservations I made reservations an hour before for a party of 9 people. They had plenty of tables available inside and outside. Honestly, I recommend getting a table outside if you can. I was pretty upset we couldn't sit outside. They have such a beautiful view and the ambiance is so much better outside. Dinner does come with a show which I had no idea about. It was awkward getting up after being seated 10 minutes before to go outside to watch the show. I will say "the show" is interesting. If you know you know. The waiter kept taking forever to fill up our waters. Please keep this in mind, we were hungover and very parched. It's a high-end restaurant so the water comes in a glass bottle and I'm pretty sure they were being stingy because it was free. Honestly, the food wasn't the best.

MIND-BLOWING, OPULENT, STUNNING, DELICIOUS PROS------- Ambiance - This has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants ever created where in Mexico or any other country under the sun. Style - Definitely dress to the 9s and 10s because you will be surrounded by a the hottest crowd. Food - The food tickles every good tastebud I never knew I had. An exquisite experience in every dish that is unrivaled. The Energy - I had no idea the amount of energy the restaurant staff would bring. There were beautiful hype men and women with a never ending supply of sparklers keeping the energy high through the night and celebrating every milestone at the tables. The Show - I had no idea dinner came with a show outside on the water. Fire dancers lit up the night solidifying the this epic night as one for the books CONS-------- NOTHING! Fine print: don't expect this top notch experience to come cheap, definitely priced competitively as any other 4 star restaurant in Los Angeles

I booked Rosa Negra as the last and splurge dinner for our trip. It was to celebrate my husband's birthday, so why not go all out? The menu is extensive. There is a variety of meat and seafood dishes, with many appetizers and sides to choose from. Someone will come around with a display of the kobe beef and large lobster to upsell you. Other than that, there are other special items you can choose from than your typical run-of-the-mill high end steakhouse items. If you're looking for an extravagant dinner, you will get what you're looking for. Hubby chose the Takamori NY strip, one of the kobe beef choices. They "cook" it tableside. I was fairly disappointed by this part actually. It's not a chef who comes tableside and carefully prepares your very expensive piece of perfectly marbled wagyu. It's one of the "managers", who is obviously not a trained chef. He handled the steak with his hands (albeit with gloves on) and, for lack of better of words, manhandled and butchered this beautiful piece of beef. I was cringing the entire time. The beef was lightly seared over hot stone. It's all it really needs. And then seasoned with some salt. It was delicious of course. But that's because the quality of the meat is very high. It does not reflect the skill of the... preparer. I got the special octopus that is like 0.0000x% of octopuses. It was grilled and served with a chimichurri sauce and potatoes. The octopus was very tender and not at all chewy. \We also got the croquettes for appetizer and those were pretty good, but very filling. Their portions are surprisingly large and meant for sharing. If you're a party of 2, plan accordingly. I think the perfect table size is 4 based on the portion size. I actually really enjoyed the free chips and bread course. There were multi-colored corn tortillas served with 3 salsas and a flaky brioche bread stuffed with cheese. YUM! Drinks were fine but nothing to write home about. For dessert, we got carrot cake, my husband's favorite. It was ginormous, of course. A quick note on the ambiance, it feels like a Vegas nightclub.

My 2nd time here and I will never forget the memories made. The service is excellent. They literally do everything possible to make sure you have a memorable evening. It's a fun vibe and perfect addition to Cancun. The food was sooooo good! We started with the bone marrow and it was the best I've ever had. I will dream about this bone marrow it was so good. We had the lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection! I forgot to take a pic and I'm so mad that I forgot. They do a fire show around 930 and you do not want to miss it! Don't worry about where they seat you because they will move you to an area where you can see the show!

You go there for the ambience. That place is FUN! Make a reservation so that you get a good table, they can accommodate big groups! We had a blast with the staff, dancing on chairs, singing... it's a party dinner! The food is expensive, overpriced for sure, and not the most delicious in my opinion. Their drinks are phenomenal on the other end. It's more about the party than what you eat for sure. I recommend any big group celebrating to have a dinner there.

We came here at the recommendation of my son's tennis instructor who is Mexican. The ambience was electric and elegant and the service was truly top notch. Our waiter recommended the perfect time to head outside and watch the evening show that was a fiery spectacle. The food was very good but fell short of expectations at the higher price point. Overall we all had a wonderful and memorable experience.

10/10 experience. Can't wait to come back to Cancun so we can come here again!! Fire show was awesome too

Amazing place Very food food and deserts and the music is great. Food came quick and fast.

The restaurants ambiance was amazing! I was impressed with the signage in the ocean. It was a little to dark though because we couldn't see the menu and we struggled on our phones so long they brought us a real menu which I prefer. The fire show was fantastic. I saw people doing hookah and their table and some were brought flowers to their table there was a lot going on. However, after waiting for my food for longer than I thought was needed I went to the restroom. While I was in the bathroom they brought my food. I don't think ones food should be brought out and sat on their table in their absence. So, it was sent back by my husband. Once I finally got my food back it had no FLAVOR! I had a huge lobster tail that tasted like NOTHING. I was disappointed. They got everything perfect except the food. I wanted to experience it and I did.

RosaNegra is an exceptional restaurant that just happened to be the first place we ate at during our recent trip to Cancun. Tip: There's a really nice deck here with tables where you can view a sunset while enjoy a cocktail and/or some food All of the food we tried during our visit was excellent, but the best dish of all was called "The Sphere" - it's both enormous and completely delicious :-) Portion sizes here are very generous, and the service is completely on point - highly recommended!

The service and overall ambiance was amazing! Staff dressed to the nines with live dj/music and a fun part where they gave everyone sparklers! Inside can get loud due to the DJ but the outside has a great view of the lagoon. The bread they have was AMAZING with the middle sauce being my fav. Skirt steak was huge and savory. Short rib was ok but bomb once you add the sauce. Conveniently across from our resort and an easy 5min walk

Came here for a birthday dinner and it was definitely an experience! We were visiting Cancun for a week and some family members suggested to go to this restaurant! First impressions: Like I said, this place is an experience. From the beautiful decor inside, to the "Rosanegra" sign that floats on the water, this is definitely a photo worthy restaurant. Service: Service was top notch! It's hard to find a place with such great service like this. Food was served in a timely manner, drinks were given (not to mention waterfalled into our mouths) and everything we needed/wanted was prepared for our large group. Food: First thing we had was the complimentary bread, it was alright, not revolutionary or anything. I ended up ordering the Risotto with fillet. Now this was something I would order time and time again if I could! This was so good, the risotto was creamy and well seasoned, while the fillet was tender and flavorful. There is also a fire show at the end of the night and dancing! Music will play and the servers/workers will hand out sparklers to sing your heart out! The reason I'm subtracting a star is because of how hot it is to sit outside. It almost makes you feel like passing out. Our table was in the corner and didn't get much of the fan circulations so a lot of us felt really hot/nauseous. It only started feeling better when the sun was completely gone and we had gotten our food. Overall, a nice experience, just wish it wasn't so hot and there was a fan in the corner where we were sitting.

Great location and setting. The sunset is breathtaking and would highly recommend timing your reservation for then. The food is very good. Slightly expensive but that is expected for the location and service. The service was excellent we had a very attentive waiter that did an amazing job of making us feel well taken care of. Only negative is that management tries to push the expensive plates pretty strongly so be aware of that. The vibe was amazing, they had great energy and did a fire show after sunset that was very fun. Final note, the team asked if there was an occasion and we told them it was our anniversary, they were very kind offered us a flute of champagne each and a complimentary cake. How nice is that! Overall definitely go there if in Cancun but don't be carried away by the 150$+ items, the regular ones have some serious hidden gems! (e.g., seafood rice)

I had an amazing time here. My aunt and uncle frequent Cancun, and they wanted to treat us to dinner here because they love it. It's definitely on the expensive side, but it is something worth experiencing at least once. This place offers a unique dining experience with a club meets dinner ambiance with great service. SO much fun! I recommend making reservations around 8 so you can have the opportunity to watch the 9pm fire show (truly mesmerizing). Upon arriving, we waited in a line to check in to our reservation. After reading some of the other reviews, patience is a must. To me, it was all worthwhile! We were there for a couple of hours. It takes time to get the food to your table, but it was fun to see how much fun everyone was having. It's really loud in there and somewhat hard to make conversation with the entire table. But it's a vibe nonetheless. Guacamole is delicious, especially when paired with the Skirt Steak Tacos. The tacos were small but the meat was perfect and it melted in your mouth with a punch of wonderful flavor. If you really want the ultimate experience, order the Lucifer Tomahawk on Fire. They flambe the steak right at your table!

Located in the hotel zone and it's a walking distance from the JW Marriott, Secrets, Paradisus, Marriott, and the Hard Rock hotels. The food, service, and ambiance Were on point. It's the best tasting guacamole and flavorful skirt steak I've had. The waiters were attentive, respectful, and efficient. The only downside is that it's on the pricier side and comparable to the USA prices.

Consider all of the above, FOOD was delicious. I had the Risotto w/Filet, Margarita (YUM). & dessert for my birthday a superb slice of carrot cake! The Service was top notch, professional & attentive. Pace was perfect. The Ambiance gave a warm "cool" vibe like where the in crowd would go. We loved it!

A fun restaurant with a great location on the water. It's beautiful. We went with a group so it got pretty rowdy. When people buy bottles there's a whole dog and pony show which can get overwhelming. For reference people were dancing in the space where our table was so I couldn't get back to my seat after going to the restroom until they got off the chairs and the sparklers died out. My husband had a burger and said it was subpar. I had the shrimp risotto which I thought tasted amazing. I would def go again and maybe sit down closer to the water and not with a group. I think it can be pretty intimate if you get away from the main restaurant. Servers were very attentive. And the atmosphere was good.

The food was absolutely amazing. Very tasty and very well presented. We were impressed from the first step into the restaurant. April, the manager was very kindful and professional.

Eh - our experience was disappointing. We Made a reservation and were sat at our table but after we ordered drinks and went to order food they informed us they were out of a lot of things (tacos, empanadas, and some other things) due to a large party the night before. It would've been great to know this 30 mins prior to us looking at the menu. So we paid for our drinks and went to another location that we liked.

This place is absolutely ridiculous in the best way! I plan on coming back to Cancun with my husband just so he can experience this because you really cannot put to words what it's like being here. My only complaint was my risotto was harshly undercooked. I was with a party of 6 and the seating was tight but everyone else's food that I tried was really good, especially the steak. The fire show was so cool, if you are celebrating something and can come here, you most definitely should.

My friends and I were super excited to try this place! The Cabo location is great and so we figured this would be equally so--- WRONG! First, we made a reservation for 8:30pm, when we arrived we were taken to a different restaurant to be seated and provided with a different menu ( without being told) and when questioned about it, we were told "we are really busy at Rosa Negra". Ok and? Why wasn't that communicated? Plus we made these reservations over a month in advance. Next after 45 mins, they moved us to Rosa Negra, however it then took 1.5 hours for them to take hour order and 2.5 hours for them to just bring out guacamole! Another 20 minutes to bring the chips that accompanies the guacamole... Are you serious?! Everyone around us were also complaining that they had been waiting for several hours without any service! Ultimately we told them to cancel the order and we left! I truly advise that this place get it together but in the meantime... PLEASE AVOID!!!!!!

Atmosphere was awesome & live. food was good need a little seasoning. Mashed potatoes were crazy good. Drinks were pretty but weak. Loved the fire show. Service was perfect. I WILL return.

This place is a VIBE! It is a must visit if you want a party experience with amazing service. Sit on the patio outside and enjoy the 9pm show. I'm not going to ruin the surprise but you MUST see it! We did not know what to expect and we're sooo blown away! The food is very good, great portions for the price and they treat you so well. I loved the complimentary puffy Parmesan bread and all of their salsas. Elote was a bang for your buck! Rib eye medium rare was cooked perfect. Seafood rice was a huge portion and the soft shell crab on top was spectacular. The dessert was not that great but it was free for our anniversary and they gave us sparklers to celebrate too. I can't remember our servers name, maybe it was Aldo? He was great and so was everyone else!

We absolutely loved the food at Rosa Negra - Cancun location. This place is packed so make sure you get a reservation. I do wish I had requested outdoor seating though, because it had a better view/seating. The fire show they do outdoors is also really cool! Coming to food - our top two favorites were the shrimp tacos and the catch of the day with spicy rub (this fish was boneless and cooked to perfection. The fish tacos were good, but there was a weird hard crunchy bite coming in between which is why I wouldn't recommend them. For desserts, I highly suggest the churros and keep in note that that serving size for desserts is huge. Service can take a while so try not to go when you're super hungry. Overall amazing food here that's super delicious and I highly recommend making this part of your visit to Cancun especially if you're a seafood lover!

BE AWARE TOURISTS. my friends and I came here to celebrate a bachelorette party and felt like we got scammed. We got bottles for the table and I'm sure they were purposely trying to get the bride mess up so they can kick out and charged us $50 "kicked out fees". Staff were constantly pouring heavy shots in her mouth even though she refused a few times. They know what they doing to tourists because of language barriers and foreigners.

Fun experience and good food. Waiters and hostesses going nuts with celebrating a bachelor party and what must have been a marriage proposal. So yeah, pretty exciting. The dishes were a hit and miss. The bone marrow was good and the ceviche too. Not as good as their sister restaurant, Chambao, but still was good. The deconstructed nogana was good, but not the best dish I've ever had. I did eat my first cricket, so that was funny. We liked the music and the entertainment, especially the fire show, but it was definitely a little more chaotic than Chambao, that we had just gone to. So in a nutshell, it was a good 2nd restaurant, but wouldn't be my 1st choice if i had only one.

The food, service and ambiance were OUTSTANDING & AMAZING. Unbelievable fire show and entertainment. This is a must place to go when in Cancun. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Next time I'm in Cancun I'll be going back.

While the views are beautiful & they try & make it a fun event. They took three hours to get my table food. & it was only tacos. While the other tables ordered & got their food. We said nvm & they still charged us for food we never got. Very disappointed in the management. I never ate my dinner...

I took a trip to this restaurant while I was in Cancun for my birthday with my fiancé. We had a lovely time enjoying our drinks and the beautiful scenery we also enjoyed some complimentary bread. Started out with the elote which was delicious, I had mine saucy he had his dry. I then had the surf and turf which was one of the best steaks I've ever had the lobster was a little tough. He also had steak a bone in ribeye super tender! The service was amazing they were consistent and even brought me a cake to sing happy birthday!

Came here for my birthday dinner and had a great time! I wasn't too hungry so we just had a few apps and a main course. Drinks were delicious, our server was very nice & attentive, the ambiance was super fun! A little pricey for the location but overall was a great time. Would definitely come back!!

The hospitality was amazing. They treated us with such care. Food was great, a bit pricey. But the experience was worth it. I would recommend going around 9PM to get all the fun of the night life. They provided us with sparklers to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday which made it super special.

DO NOT GO HERE... to be honest, its all for show, customer service sucks. Came here for my birthday & literally have been waiting 1 hour just to order... smh.
