5 star on Service, 5 star on Atmosphere, what a beautiful restaurant. I went for breakfast and it was good, maybe just a bit too bland for me. Like everything needed salt. I would definitely go back and try the dinner buffet.

Nice family atmosphere. It has bar also. It is big place. Buffet has various meat , sea food,vegetables and fruits . They do serve lanch and dinner. When i was there outdoor patio was closed . Cooked to order station is the best. Variety of meat options. I really enjoyed Carne asada tacos. My server was not very friendly and didn't have any knowledge about the food what they served. I almost forgot to mention time limited 2hrs for buffet. Overall I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I would go back again .

Exceptional food. Large portions. Great service. Our party was taken care of. We went during their mariachi shows. For a birthday. It was great.

Good taste eats and loves it. We visited a restaurant 10 times and enjoyed listening to beautiful music. We will go again.

My family and I come here every year in January. We were recently here. The atmosphere, quality and food is still great. The live performances are always the best. Great mariachi singers. My wife and I always share the molcajete. It’s so delicious. The only bad thing, just like everything else, prices are really high. You will be paying a lot more for the food and the show. You can save money by only going during the day. They do have a great buffet. If you want the entertainment, keep in mind, you will be paying more but it’s worth it in my opinion. We don’t live local. Have to drive an hour to Baldwin park. It will still be our yearly tradition.

They offer DINNER BUFFET!!!!! So delicious! Update. If you want AUTHENTIC Mexican home cooked meals then this is the place. Everything that our Mexican mothers made for us they have it at the buffet. And it taste like home. I recommend this place to anyone who wants real home made Mexican food. The buffet is TOP NOTCH. This place never disappoints. The buffet is amazing and they have a HUGE selection of authentic dishes. They also have a taco bar and they provide homemade fresh tortillas. Service is great and friendly

Good place and the buffet is decent lots of variety. The tacos are pretty good and the hand made tortillas are delicious. My issues with them is not the food it's their "rules" they require all people (even if it's just 2) to be there in order to sit you. Makes no sense, since you pay for it at the end. The older lady at the front is not the nicest and if it wasn't because I was already there waiting for someone I probably would have left. I understand if you have a large group but if it's just 2-3 people its silly.

The food was very tasty and delicious. Definitely enjoyed the carnitas posole and the churros with ice cream. They have a variety of different types of food. They even had tamales which were great. The service was excellent the waiter was nice n good fast and attentive. The ambiance was definitely like name straight from Guadalajara. Was a super cute place.

Please do not get fooled by the 4,5 stars reviews!!! Food is 3/10. Tasteless, cold and old. The best tasting "food" is actually the salad and the fruit. Service is 4/10. Our servers gave us looks, didn't make us feel welcomed! You don't normally see a Mexican food buffet and places like this is why there wont be more anymore soon :( STAY AWAY!!!

It was my husband's and I, together with our 5 month old's baby first time eating here as we have seen a YouTube video of how good this place is. As soon as we entered, it took a sweet time for the host to acknowledge us even though we were the only one in line and she already saw us minutes before. She then proceeded to tell us that strollers are not allowed in the restaurant, only baby car seat or they offer a high chair. I undestand that it's due to the space, however, this is the first time I've been to a restaurant with no stroller allowed and there was no sign at the door whatsoever. We got seated next to the door for their outside seating area where the wind was gusting in directly to our baby, which was not considerate. The food was mediocre, the selection of food was not that great for the price of buffet we paid for. Some good such as the ceviche and the flan did not look fresh. I tried the chicken mole and the chicken tasted old. My father in law's home cooked meals are so much tastier than what we had. The drinks were separate from the actual meal and we ordered three horchatas which costed $20!!! The mariachi was good, but for the total of our bill and the service and experience is definitely not worth it. Definitely not coming back.

food is just fine 5/10 music is too damn loud to enjoy your time and during my visit it reeked of dogshit. on top of all the bad they have the audacity to sell you overpriced photos do not recommend

I've been interested in trying this restaurant, so I tried it on Cinco de Mayo. They had drink specials, I had a lime margarita on the rocks ($5) and it was perfect! They have a buffet menu, for dinner it's $25.99 which seems like a good deal for the buffet options (includes salad, hot foods, fruit, dessert). I was a bit surprised the regular menu was on the expensive side. Perhaps costs are higher because of the buffet option. The food was still good, I would come back. They have a stage and a Mariachi band. The music was good, the restaurant was busy but there were still tables available. The staff were friendly and attentive. They also confirmed that if someone in your party wants the buffet and another person wants the regular menu, that's okay. :)

All the food here was amazing. The service staff was great we came here for a birthday and I had never been here before. They did have a buffet that you could go to but I chose to order from the menu my husband and I ordered primarily appetizers and shared them The mini taco Dorados were probably the best thing that we ordered. It was very cute inside I have heard that they do play music occasionally but the day we were there that was not the case. I would come again.

Came here for Sunday brunch to celebrate a family members birthday. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is vibrant. Brunch is buffet style on the weekends until 2:30pm and includes a mariachi show. The show was great and everyone had a fun time! Although I loved the entertainment, the food was not the best. I did enjoy their carnitas, handmade tortillas, and drinks. However, everything else was nothing special. Most of the food was also room temperature.

This place is special. It is Mexican food but from Guadalajara, so they have a few great things on the menu that you will no get elsewhere. The place is very cute and they keep it clean. The service is so nice and they all just want you to be happy. Anything you order here will be great. They even have great beans. They have a full bar and they have specials. The Monterrey Chicken is one of my favorites and their flan is really good. I think they make it there. We love it when they have the buffet. I don't know whether this is every night. Call them and ask. Sometimes they even have a band and they are great. You will leave full and happy.

Lived near by for 15+ years and never went - now I live further out and decided to check it out. We came here for breakfast/brunch and it was wonderful. Got there a little after 9am and there was already a good chunk of people inside. They have 2 long buffet lines filled with goodies, a dessert/breakfast nook on the side and in the back they have tacos/quesadillas. Service was really good. They're really friendly and attentive. There's tons of seating and from what we saw, large groups come here often. They also have a stage which I was told they have performers on sundays and mariachi. I think its a great place to go with family & friends with good food.

Great food and ambience! Prices were just right, it included a mariachi 1-hour show. Food was very "Mexican" and the service staff was excellent! I highly recommend Guadalajara Grill when you're visiting Los Angeles!

I've passed by this place so many times but never really thought to try it out until a few weekends ago when my wife suggested we come here for their lunch buffet. I was actually pretty surprised. The food was good. Service was good. It was so packed. Lots of your typical hispanic items, there's a lady in the back making tacos, i heard on sundays they have mariachi so hoping to come back next time for that.

Don't go on a Friday night for the mariachi show! We went tonight and the service was horrible! 30 minute wait for a margarita and don't get me started on the mariachis! The mariachis sucked!!! They were singing English songs like wtf! Why?! And don't u dare ask for more chips! They charged $18 for chips and salsa! Would not recommend! Go to Uruapan in Irwindale! Way better service, food and music!

I was undecided about where to celebrate my birthday. So I decided to try this place for the first time. Well Im glad I did. When I arrived, the person receding visitors was not so welcoming, but Mariachis were wonderful, as well as the folclorico dancer. I happen to yell out a song fair them to sing, and they sang another song, but to my surprise the next song was the one I requested! The staff was wonderful and cheerful. I want to thank the staff that attended us so well, you made my day special. Very attentive to our needs and stood by us as they sang happy birthday to me. Thank you! Plan on returning to celebrate birthdays to come!

It had been a couple of years since we visited this establishment. We were sat quickly and our server was very attentive. For a Friday night, attendance was minimal. There were probably 30 guests in a place that can easily accommodate over 250 people. The mariachi show was good and the Vicente Fernandez impersonator was an added bonus. Our food was fresh and delicious.

Came here on a Sunday brunch. Arrived about an hour after they opened and there was already a good amount of people waiting to be seated. The place has plenty of seating indoors with a mariachi performing on stage during brunch hours. The food options for the buffet had a wide variety. There's a homemade tortilla and omelet station towards the back. The place does get packed by noon so try to come early! Overall, it's a great place for brunch with a great atmosphere.

Food was alright, but not the best Mexican buffet. The place feels very energized with music and lots of big families , and the service is good . But I was a bit disappointed that they wouldn't let us cut and eat our cake at the table. It was my sister's birthday and we took a cake , they put it away for us and when we were ready to cut it they said we couldn't do it inside . This is supposed to be a family restaurant, I don't understand why we wouldn't cut out cake at the table. This definitely took away from our experience here.

It was nice got seated quickly even though we didn't have a reservation my girlfriend was happy because it was a late birthday celebration for her only wish that the marachi would play longer felt like it wasn't really 2 hours like the said

Came here for lunch with my 5yr old daughter. Because my daughter is small and little to no appetite, i always do a la carte side of 2 eggs and I do the buffet. The waiter was trying to convince me to get the buffet for her. I told him no cause she doesn't eat much. He got the manager to come talk to me to get the buffet for her. She approached me as I was serving myself a plate! So embarrassing and unprofessional. As a former hospitality manager, waiters do this to bring the average ticket price up to get a higher tip. On top of that the bowls for soup were dirty, utensils were crusty, the Mexican sweet bread was stale and the choices of food were limited. Won't be coming back again

Was brought here by my coworker who really loved the place, but we both walked out very disappointed today. They haven't been changing the food out for the buffet, and the servers let us know that the manager should've warned us at the door (which they didn't). The food all tasted old and flavorless - overall very disappointing. Gave feedback to the manager and they were not receptive at all. I do want to give props to the servers though - all were very understanding and on our side. They were also very helpful the entire time. Unfortunately won't be returning

The service is not good. Ordered a red salsa burrito and they brought me a green one. Sent it back and the "new" one just had red salsa on top of the old green one. Sent it back and they brought out a new burrito. During brunch they pack the place and hurry you out. The restaurant is too expensive. Food quality mediocre. Ambiance is loud. The long tables are too close together. It's hard getting in and out. They should lower their prices, fit less people inside and improve the quality of the food.

Guadalajara Grill impressed me with everything I was able to taste. I need to come back and try the buffet and make sure I fast for at least 48 hours. The tacos de cabeza was such a flavor explosion. If you know about cabeza then you will be a fan of theirs. I also got a omelette with nopales, pico de gallo, jamon and chorizo. And I washed it all down at their bar with a fresh Paloma. This is a true staple in Baldwin

I have been to this restaurant many times in the past 10 years! We mostly come here for birthdays, but we also bring out of town guests too. It's a well maintained restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. The decor and layout is perfect for intimate parties of two or booths and long tables to accommodate large groups and gatherings for all occasions. I've even attended a fundraiser here. Breakfast is buffet style, lunch and dinner is ordered from the regular menu. The highlight and what sets this place apart from most restaurants is the Mariachi Show. The musicians and singers put on a great show. The musicians will walk through the restaurant to "seranade" your date. All you have to do is let the Server know that you have a special request. Note: it is customary to tip the singer. There is no cover charge or fee for the entertainment, except Special Events. I saw an advertisement for Valentine's Day. Reservations, tickets, and a deposit is required for this event. There is a large parking lot, no charge, no Valet service. If you're in the area, give them a visit and don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!!

When the mariachi shows are on it's great, love the live music and they wish you a happy birthday

Went to celebrate my mother's 95th birthday. Would've been nice to know you can only get the buffet. No option to order from menu, your individual order must total $30. Which is fine but, would have liked to know in advance. The service is lacking, takes a while to get drinks by that time food is cold. Too loud and I'm regretful we went there for my mother's special birthday. The food in the buffet was nothing special, dry chilaquiles, beans tasteless. A lot of choices. Even the "handmade" tortillas were pre fab.

This restaurant has great food and good service. We have a reservation at 11, they sat us down at 11:15 and the mariachi started at 11:30, by 12:05 they were done for the people that get there at 11. They didn't even play for an hr. I didn't appreciate that. They need to do better for their ppl and give a good show. We drove an hr away to experience this and left disappointed by the show. The food was great though. So it's 50/50 good/bad experience. Or at least play music when the mariachi stopped playing music .

The reviews here prior to mine deterred me a bit from coming but it is a decent place. There's about 30-40 different food selections and nothing really stood out to me but it was tasty. Service was fast. I got my water quick and about 4 service men were on duty to clean and take plates. Ambiance was nice. Decorations were up and portraits of singers like Selena was cute.

We heard about this place while visiting a friend, the place is large and has plenty of food to choose from. Can accommodate large or Small groups you should make reservations the place gets full fast. You can also place your name on a standby list and wait. You get the table for only 2 hours to make room for the next group. The Mariachi performs around every hour and a half. My mother enjoyed the Guadalajara Grill very much. Come eat and have fun.

The ambiance is nice I guess, although the mariachis don't go to every table they tend to stick with the tables by the door.. anyways, the singers were cool and sang great! The piña colada is on the alcohol drinks menu but when I finished it I didn't feel buzzed, my mom tried it and said "you ordered it without alcohol?" NO so that drink was just a waste of money. I had a very long week and was looking forward to feel a buzz at dinner but I guess they forgot to put alcohol in the drink. Anyways the sip I took from my man's beer gave me more of a buzz than the piña colada. Service was great, the $30 plate of sopes WAS SO MIDS not worth the price, lacked flavor.

So disappointing,, will never come back, I got the weekday lunch buffet, I did like the chips and salsa.. the salsa was good made better by my adding, cilantro, onions, and jalapenos.. the home made tortillas was awesome.. I tried the carne asada taco, and fish taco, from the taco bar. Asada was dry, and the fish was dryer, both seemed to have been cooked the day before. And not stored well.. I tried several of the meats, Chile Verde, chili Colorado, birra beef. Nothing was appealing... The cheese enchilada was ok, nothing special.. rice and beans was good.. my wife got the cervichi which she liked, but my wife is like Mikey, she likes everything.... If I were you I'd stay away, but who knows maybe it was a bad day

It's been over 2yrs since I've been to Lunch buffet. To my surprise everything was on point. Restrooms clean, restaurant is very festive & NOT runned down. Service was perfect didn't have to ask for anything & they were quick @ clearing plates off table. Most impressive was the food. A wide variety of Mexican delights. Large assortment of soups (my favorite), salad bar, hot dishes (pork, beef, Chix), handmade tortillas & street tacos made to order. Buffet was kept stocked, hot & consistently being wiped down. You can opt for a quick lunch if in a hurry or stay a while Grazing like we did. :) Almost forgot, sister ordered a strawberry lemonade it was delicious & refreshing homemade w/ real strawberry purée Job well done GG! Bringing family from Texas in couple of weeks. We will be back

Thursday buffet lunch here today and it was so delicious. There's a variety of options to choose from and everything was so good. No wait or reservations necessary. They do not have mariachi during the week but that's ok we had a great time and enjoyed the buffet. I will definitely go back again.

Way over priced food!!! The sauce on the red burrito tasted like ketchup, the "pepperoni pizza" I ordered for my son, is nothing but a tiny soggy frozen pizza! $19 for that plate! The $7 "horchata" is NOT made from scratch, disappointing! The Sierra Mist soda tasted Funky! The $33 plate of breaded shrimp consists of only 6 shrimps with a scoop of rice and a nasty WILTED salad, definitelyNOT worth the money! The ONLY good thing here was the bottled coke, and that's because it was BOTTLED! Sodas are $7 EACH Had a lot of left over food so I took it home to my dogs! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Growing up in the area, I've been to Guadalajara Grill numerous times and have always been happy with every experience. Service is good, the restaurant is clean with beautiful Mexican traditional decor. Live Mariachi entertainment (which is part of the appeal of dining here) is included in their competitive and fair prices. I believe their shows are: Thursday and Friday starting at 7PM. Saturday starting at 3PM. Sunday Brunch starting at 9AM. If you plan to dine during the weekend evening hours, it's best to make reservations as they are prioritized, but note that you won't be seated until your ENTIRE party arrives. They have a weekday lunch buffet at $15.99 from 10AM - 2PM and Saturdays/Holidays at $20.99 from 9AM - 2PM with plenty of food items that include a "Taquiza" (Taco Bar). Happy hour is all-day Monday - Wednesday and on Thursday & Friday from 10AM - 6PM. Overall, I really enjoy this authentic Mexican restaurant every visit.

BLACK PEOPLE-- DO NOT EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! THEY ARE RACIST!! My brother and I went for lunch today and we were going to get the buffet. I asked what was offered and the manager (Hispanic man with pencil mustache and glasses) gave me a half-ass response: it's 40 items, we have a taco bar. We ended up ordering from the menu. Our chips and salsa came at the same time as our entree, which made no sense to me; I've been to countless Mexican restaurants and they come way before the meal. My brother asked for a Sprite to go. Mind you, that was the only drink he ordered with his meal and our server (guy with a big belly) did not refill our drinks. The server said he had to check with the manager if he could do that. I asked him, "do you not provide free refills? Do you not have togo cups?" to which he responded yes to both questions. He came back with the drink and the manager told my brother "we don't normally do this, this is for togo orders." Bullshit! When they start making up weird ass policies, you know something is up. Also, we got their enchilada plates, one chicken and one cheese. The food was lukewarm and wasn't tasty. Also, it wasn't busy for lunch. I don't understand how this place remains in business after all of these years. I am NEVER coming back here!!

$25 fee to bring in a cake?! And no balloons either?! Stephanie's service was horrible. We didn't feel welcomed here at all and ended up leaving.

Made the reservation prior, everything was great. However, the dishes were over priced about 27.99 for each plate. Just the Guacamole for the chips was 17.99. The Mariachi was nice, they did NOT have folklorico dance as they were supposed to, that was disappointing. The server Jose Luis was on top of the table. However when mariachi ended, the waitress Erika was on top of us for us to leave. She kept walking over giving us faces as we shouldn't be there anymore, keeping in mind all the tables for our reservation at 5pm were still there. Even though the mariachi played at 5:40 not at 5... she was not pleasant. She made me lower the review stars because I took my family as moms birthday with family and I felt embarrassed.

Service was decent, our server was delightful and diligent. The food was on the pricey side for the quality of it. The drinks were excellent! They will definitely get you excited with spirits. The ambiance was relaxing, especially when the Mariachi's started to play and the music brought happiness to your person. The bathrooms were clean, the restaurant was in order.

Order the marisco molcajete ok, nothing special, cocktail my mother order could have been done better. My dad got mole that had a grill pc of chicken wired. Our waiter was ok but brought over the check without even asking about desert, very disappointing. Few small children were yelling and scream their lungs out they must of not liked the food or service. Food presentation was good.

And I don't appreciate you lying and making up a story to excuse your sh*tty customer service. You yelled at EVERYONE, ok. Now that that's established, we had RESERVATIONS and still waited 3 hours. Everyone was p*st because EVERYONE had been waiting for HOURS. Not just that party you're taking about. The food was not good, the space was extremely small and over crowded and everything was over priced. Save your money and keep your peace ppl. Don't go here. And for the "manager" save your response. No one cares or wants to read your lies and excuses for your crappy customer service.

We came to enjoy dinner with friends for their anniversary. This place is right of the freeway and easy to get to. When inside it's not too fancy but full of long tables. We were sat down as a group of 18, and promptly helped. The whole experience was good overall. Lots of food and drink options. I didn't love my shrimp diablo bit I tasted my friends dishes and they were good. So we sat down at 5 and by 8ish we were being ushered out because they have another showtime about 9pm. The entertainment was very good, it's loud but very enjoyable for a special occasion .

Horrible place. My family and I had became a avid customer of this place. However, each time we went we liked it less. Staff is rude, unprofessional, and always in a bad mood. The blonde Hispanic lady who charges in the front should take a class on customer service before she clocks in. No needs to speak so rude to customers who are trying to figure out why they are charging a 7 month old a full buffet price. No 7 month old should be charged $10 to eat when they barely eat solids. If someone is looking for a buffet with great customer service check out don chon in Covina. Food is 10/10 and so is there customer service.

We went early today to celebrate my Dads 80th birthday, we were a party of 10 we walked in and were kind of greeted by the Host Stephanie who's attitude was very condescending and was not appreciated, we couldn't take in the balloons we took and the cake, they tried charging $25 to have the cake on the table because they had no where to store it, I was like $25 just to bring the cake in Stephanie rudely said yes and rolled her eyes! It wasn't even about the money at all it was about how Stephanie handled the situation, we ended up going to El Pescador 7min away and omg the difference was incredibly noticeable, the Host was super welcoming and friendly and our server Alex was incredible! Tipped him every well! Our bill was $520 not including the tip $150 and the food was AMAZING! Everything was clean and over all great! So yeah Guadalajara grill definitely missed out on some great customers!!! Thanks to Stephanie!!!

With all due respect to "Rose F." Review. She missed a few points on this location. Pictures of the food are nice and all but the experience was subpar. The food is excellent but there is a traffic issue at this location. By traffic I mean alot of narrow walk ways and paths. Which is not only a nuisance but dangerous. You Essentially bump into waiters and waitresses trying to walk through and it's a bit inconvenient. Lastly they need to make more eye contact. The older gentleman with the Blue blazer suit and glasses. Needs to welcome people at the door. Rolling your eyes left and right and not acknowledging the customer is definitely unwelcome. Not only rude but not professional. Lastly clean the floors once in a while do a pass because if someone slips and falls a lawsuit could be in order. This goes to the owners and staff. There is definitely room for improvements. Make the changes necessary. I could be part of the elite reviewers and won't miss such issues.

Wow wow wow, avoid guadalajara grill baldwin park at all costs. You have been warned. The manager is just as bad as the food. The foods sucks to put it simple. We had a party of about 16 elderly women to celebrate a birthday and the refused to let us cut a cake. Wanted to charge us a dollar per person even though they weren't cutting it. Never ever coming here again. What a waste of time and money taco bell taste 100% better than this.
