Staff was very friendly and attentive! The whole place is decorated with christmas lights and garland for the holidays! It definitely has a festive feel. Food was delicious! Def planing to come back :)

Google
it was a very nice experience. we went at lunchtime during the week and the place was not overly crowded. did not have to wait long to order drinks (non-alcoholic) or lunch. food arrived in timely manner. there were three of us and we all enjoyed our meals. food was competitively prices for a meal of same type around riverside and San Diego counties.

Google
I've eaten here many times. Food has always been good. The Chili Verde burrito is very good. Also the Chili Colorado burrito as well. There is a burrito that's called the Macho which is half Verde and half Colorado. Best of both worlds! Fajitas are also a good choice! The chips are warm and salsa has a great taste. I haven't eaten breakfast here yet. But have always been satisfied with lunch and dinner!

A LOCAL TEMECULA FAVORITE! Guadalajara is a Mexican restaurant known for its authentic food, vibrant happy hour, live music, and souvenir photos. It’s right off the 15 freeway, just five mins away from the entrance to Old Town Temecula. It’s got a great amount of seating, plenty of booths and comfy cushions. Guadalajara features Mexican seafood options, iconic fajitas, yummy burritos, fresh tacos and plenty of adult beverages. How was the food? The table chips were great, I ate the whole basket. As for dinner, I highly suggest the Shrimp Fajitas, they had perfectly cooked shrimp and a nice mixture of fresh veggies. My order came with 3 homemade tortillas. Live music is played after 6pm on select days and it’s a HIT! I saw so many people lined up to eat and enjoy. I’d categorize this spot as family-friendly, it’s clean and inviting! I didn’t see people drinking irresponsibly or acting a fool. The staff were pretty nice, although we didn’t get refills in a timely manner. I loved the souvenir photos that are offered. A sweet photographer was taking pics of various tables and was selling 2 pics with covers for $25. We bought a pair, because they were nice shots!

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet, I've been coming to Guadalajara's for 11 years now, it's actually my favorite full service Mexican food restaurant in Temecula. I've been here for lunch, diner, Sunday brunch, all spectacular. Good food, great drinks, good service, and prices are fairly reasonable for the potion sizes, plenty of seating options as well. We even came here and enjoyed it during covid.

Google
A return visit here was much better than my last visit. We expected a wait since it was the weekend, but we seated in a reasonable amount of time. The food was good and plentiful. I ordered the Birria tacos, and it was enough to share. My guest ordered the large platter with skirt steak, shrimp, rice & beans. All very tasty!

Google
Soup is extremely spicy, the shrimps are fine, but waited for long for this dish to be served while other people in the group (they didn’t order soup) had eaten half of their dishes, probably should have ordered non-soup dishes.

Google
Always greay food and good service. The menu is filled with many great choices for you to choose from that will please anyone with a urge for good Mexican food. The dining room is usually always full or,near full and that's a good sign of the food quality,in my opinion. Wether you're just going to the bar for a Margarita,or dining in with friends or family, this place is definitely worth your time and you will find yourself coming back many times over

Yelp
They serve a pretty good house margarita here! I rarely drink margaritas but I will here. The taco Tuesday is pretty fantastic & everything on the menu that I have tried has been good so far. They have a nice Saturday & Sunday brunch (bottomless mimosas are available). Live music. This is a local spot & is always busy so plan on waiting at least 15 for a table if you go later in the day. Service is hit or miss depending on the capacity.

Yelp
What a great place. Kind of off the beaten path, tucked away in a business district, but don't let that fool you. Check-in is quick and friendly, with wait staff ready for your drink orders. Chips and salsa came next, and wow, it was good. Just enough heat, not too much, and great flavor. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I know mexican food, and this place raises the bar. Great food each time, and plentiful portions. You wont find a tablespoon of meat in a taco here, but a full serving. Service is prompt but not pushy, drinks were always full, and food has never disappointed. Your server brings the tablet to table for payment, so a bit of comfort there. Bar area always hopping too, so stop in, grab a drink, have some great food, and go home full.

Yelp
I kept driving by and seeing a full parking lot, so I decided to check it out with my mom since she had been craving Mexican food. There was no one at the host stand when we arrived, so it took a bit to get seated. However, our server, Kat, was super friendly and personable. Yummy chips and salsa seem to be included with the meal. The portion size was substantial, and the chicken flautas were delicious. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla and a bean and cheese burrito covered in red sauce but will be eating them tomorrow because we were only able to get through the flautas. We are still full as I type this an hour later. There were a couple of hiccups in getting our order right, but Kat kindly fixed everything. I would gladly return, particularly with people who have big appetites and would love to take advantage of their happy hour.

Yelp
Taquitos beans and rice were really good. But most importantly the Menudo was delicious. Definitely will be back in. We're in the area.

Yelp
Went last night for dinner , 8 of us we called to reserve table and only one available was at 8:15. We got there and were given 2 booths adjacent to each other with a divider. Also food took long, asked for napkins 3 times , a soda 4 times, food so so my shrimp came with a basic salad with thousand island all over and a couple of fries, forgot the tortillas lol, beans are not fresh and no flavor.

Yelp
If the chips were consistent, they'd have an extra star. But sometimes they're stale. The Baja deal is a solid deal lobster and steak. Enough for two to split. Can get busy!!! Fajitas are good too. Had the pazole the other day and it was good. Missing some salt IMO.
google avatar

Yelp
This is my second visit here. The first time was much better. It was pretty busy so maybe that's why service was a bit different. Just came with cousin and niece. Three of us split the fiesta platter and tj tacos. The food was bland. Nothing stood out at all. The bathrooms were gross. It's been over a year since I have been here and the last visit was much better. Not much to say except please clean women's bathroom

Yelp
Nice option in the area. The resistant is spacious and our server was attentive. Our large group was seated right away. The beans and rice were very tasty and delicious. My tacos were pretty good but were missing the sauce. I was brought out a side of the sauce when asked. I would definitely dine here again if I am in the area.

Yelp
What a great place. A very popular spot in Temecula. The wait was about 30 minutes and well worth it. The place was packed and standing room only. We secured a high top table at the bar area after about 15 minutes. Ricky was very helpful and took our drink order with my wife having the blended margarita and I had a Cadillac. Ricky brought them to the table within minutes and had chips and salsa delivered as well. Alfonso was our other server and took our order. My wife and I both had the enchiladas suizas and I also had a dinner salad as well. The food was fantastic. Kat came by regularly to check on us and make sure everything was going well. The teamwork service is terrific. The ambiance is very positive and has a cool vibe as well. Highly recommended

Yelp
Went here on Sunday 6/22 with a big party. The service from Tony was awesome, he was super friendly and attentive to our large party. He made sure all our food came out correctly and stayed on top of everything. The food was good, everyone including the kids loved their food. We will definitely be back soon and ask for Tony. Drinks from bar were also very tasty. We shared the fajitas for 2 and they were great.

Yelp
The wait time wasn't so bad. The food was good. I really did enjoy the birria but the queso fundido fell a little short. Overall, the restaurant was very clean and they have great seating options outdoor an indoor. Overall good.

Yelp
Been on the look out for a Mexican restaurant that can satisfy my random mole cravings and this place popped up. First off this place gets busy!! We were on the waitlist for about 30 mins before we got seated so do come early! When we got seated the servers were pretty busy so it took awhile for us to get our orders in, but when we did our food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Enmoldas and it was OK I've had better mole and the chicken was bland. Not sure if I would order it again. The Sizzling fish on the skillet came out sizzling and it was dry and salty. Carne asada tacos were solid (not pictured) Overall experience here was OK with the way the food tasted and how busy the restaurant gets.

Yelp
Super disappointing we've been coming here for years but last 2 times service has been awful taking over 30 min to get food and then it was cold! Will not be coming here again
google avatar

Yelp
Love Guadalajara! It's our family week night outing! Always ask for Frederico, he's the best! Best chips n salsa and best Mexican food in town! Love the service and ambience! Place is always packed so you know it's good!

Yelp
Alot of reviews is why my brother chose this place. It was pretty standard to my tasting. Good but not great! Service was good, food was a bit slow but he did warn us and that didn't bother me. We got to sit outside and the weather was great. We got all sorts of food, tamale, chile relleno, rice beans, the meatball soup, menudo, all good! portions are pretty big had a little leftovers which is a treat. When we left we did notice the huge wait, must be a local favorite. nice to see them playing soccer on the TV outside. Good enough parking seems to be part of a office business plaza.

Yelp
Okay maybe perhaps it's cuz it's the holiday weekend for most of my review but here we go... Food: the food had no seasoning at all like where do they do this at a Mexican Restaurant like seriously disappointing smh. I found myself eating the tomatoes and onions nearby and I absolutely do not like tomatoes and onions but I was trying to find flavor from somewhere. Service: well let's just say it must've been BUSY BUSY cuz umm I guess our waiter tried ‍ Ambiance: Now the set up okay it was cute not mad at it it's a pretty cute set up and the bathroom was clean that's always a plus! I guess overall unless there's an event my parentals are going to like tonight I'll come back but if for my friends or something nawwww no way! This experience was NOT IT! I should've eaten in n out would've been a happy camper and cheaper option frfr smh

Yelp
My husband, Randy, and I, were in Temecula for the last couple weeks staying at Pechanga RV Resort. Our friend, Christine, came up to visit us last Monday and on Tuesday the three of us went to Guadalajara Mexican Grill. Randy and I had been before but it was the first time for Christine. She had a ground beef taco and a potato taco and Randy and I shared Fajitas and they were great. The portion was huge and we had plenty left for the next day. Already looking forward to our next visit hopefully late this year or early next year!

Yelp
Visiting the West Coast! Family dinner! Place was extremely busy! Constant flow of customers. Parking lot on site. Happy hour 3p-7p. We had reservations and were seated right away. We had to ask for utensils a few times! Party of seven- only 2 sets of utensils on the table. Food was served on huge platters not plates! Table a bit crowded with all the entrees. Typical Mexican food. Great catching up with family! Love Yelp perk when I checked in! Complementary cheese crisp! It was very tasty!!!

Yelp
The food is so good. Friendly waiters and great live music outside. I am addicted to the food. I just had it yesterday and I'm asking my husband if we can go again tonight.
google avatar

Karman V.

Yelp
Steak & Shrimp Fajita Platter was excellent: A+ except the tortillas came out and were served after much of it was eaten, so more like a bowl than a fajita. Our server did not notice we were without tortillas for awhile. The dish was excellent and cooked perfectly. The ambiance is cool and relaxed. My spouse got a chile relleno and taco and she said she'll order the fajitas next time. They were only $21 so that price is more than fair.

Yelp
Pikachu always gives unique attention to his customers. He always makes my mom feel special.

Yelp
Food was not good idk why is so busy their queso fundido was watery and no. Taste could even eat it their albóndigas were supposed to be clear broth brought it in red broth meat fresh out of the freezer, mangonadas were just slushies barely any tequila will not be coming back to this place very dissatisfied I asked about the issues nothing was done about it.
google avatar

Yelp
I'M ADDICTED TO THE MOLE!! This is one of the best Mexican restaurants that I've experienced - and living in SoCal I've experienced quite a few!! Service and Atmosphere are exemplary but for me the absolute BEST is their homemade Mole Poblano. I am honestly addicted it is so good.... But don't just take my word for it - see for yourself. As Reagan said; "Trust - but Verify."

Yelp
Our new favorite Mexican restaurant. We originally came for lunch with my in laws and ordered fajitas for two. It was good so we of course decided to come back. We came back for a dinner date night and discovered that they have a weekend dinner menu. The Acapulco grill combo seemed too good to be true because it said for $54.99 you get steak, chicken and lobster with veggies. Plus side plates with beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream, and an orange slice. We always have food left over to take home. I wasn't too impressed with their drinks the first two times but the last time I ordered the watermelon margarita and that is now my go to drink there. I wanted to order the flight but you aren't able to select the flavors. The server said it's just whatever they have at that time so I decided to pass on it. I decided to order and try the cheese crisp and forgot to check in on Yelp. Reminder to not forget to check in on Yelp to get a complimentary cheese crisp. It's almost like a quesadilla. Every time we've visited the service has always been good. They have been friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Love this place! The combo plates are delicious and very reasonably priced. The drinks are great and the mariachi band was really cool.

Yelp
The experience was a complete letdown from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was unbearably hot and stuffy, making it uncomfortable to sit through the meal. Margaritas were served in pint-sized beer glasses--hardly the presentation you'd expect--and things only went downhill from there. I ordered the Enchilada Del Mar, which the menu described as being filled with "large shrimp and crab." What I received was a sad excuse: two tiny bay shrimp and absolutely no crab. When I brought this up to the manager, he tried to convince me that large shrimp shrink to bay shrimp size when cooked. I wasn't buying it and asked him to take the dish back. My wife ordered a chicken enchilada, and the chicken tasted old and off. Unfortunately, she ended up with food poisoning that night and into the next morning. The meal came with chips and salsa--the salsa was the only redeeming part, fresh and flavorful--but the chips were greasy and unpleasant. Service was inattentive and dismissive throughout. Given the poor food, uncomfortable atmosphere, and lackluster service, we didn't leave a tip. This was hands down the worst Mexican food experience we've ever had.

Yelp
Yesterday we had the combo fajita plate for two. It was steaming smoking hot ! Good job. Really it's for 3 people at least !! Rice and beans on the side were so good but not very warm. The guac and sour cream went great on the fajita tacos. We appreciate the chips served hot with salsa. Yum. I will say we had a very odd vodka martini. It was ordered " up" with olives. Just gonna say it definitely had some kinda margarita mix in there. Vodka iffy. I may have had a tequila martini? Not good. Please make note to bartender. Thanks.

Yelp
I arrived at the restaurant and proceeded to the bar to find a table. It was filthy and as I turned towards the bar I could see that the bartender was overwhelmed. She had 4 customers on the bar top and the manager was back behind the bar playing with the remote. A third person who was a bar back was busy cleaning up the mess that was the bar. I thought hey maybe I could just ask her for a towel to wipe up the salsa laden table but she only glared at me as if I was making an outrageous request. Then she rudely said I will be with you in a minute. I waited and waited and waited. Finally I gave up and moved to the bar top. She then decided to ignore me for 14 mins. I timed it. She even went over and cleaned the table off but didn't acknowledge me. At this point I'm wondering what her deal is. She finally comes over and I spell out what I want. Margarita with salt on the rocks with a lime but no straw. She then delivers a margarita without salt but with a straw. At this point my patience has been tested enough so I said hey and no response. I then said hey again she comes over and accuses me of being rude. Now having worked in the service industry for almost 30 years and 17 of those behind the bar I am not an asshole to the service staff. I tip well and I am kind to the staff but this bartender went even further and ignored me for another 10 mins when I was ready to order then had another server come up and try to take my order. Frankly I'm disappointed at her service and overall attitude. If she isn't capable of being a bartender without losing her cool then perhaps she should go back a position there that doesn't require being friendly to the guests who actually pay and keep the business alive. Oh btw I tip over 20% and I have been coming here for 10 years. I may have to rethink my patronage of this establishment though.

Yelp
Came here with a friend a couple of months ago - sadly before I found out i have to change my diet :( But I think I can have a few things on the menu. We both had the albóndigas with rice, flour tortillas & non alcoholic drinks. It was during weekday lunch and though quite a few people, not overcrowded like the weekends. The server & staff were wonderful. The restaurant is nicely decorated that you feel you might be in Mexico. Definitely coming back, everything was perfect!

Yelp
Looking for a good Mexican restaurant and figured we are in CA so any restaurant with Mexican food would be great, me and my mom thought. The place had alot of stars than most and was busy so we checked it out. Looked run down on the inside which was not a bid deal for us as some good places can be holes in the wall, menu seamed pretty standard from all Mexican restaurants but was pricey fir a run down restaurant. Loved the fresh tortilla chips and salsa. My mom ordered a carne asada burrito came with no sides unlike other places we've gone to include rice and beans with the order and I ordered a steak quesadilla both were really greasy and lacked flavor and tried the hot salsa they had and was not as good at all and have had better salsa in Vegas restaurants and my mom's. The bill was like 60 with tip for an entree and an appetizer w/non-alchoholic drinks and we had better food the night before at a fancier place or $10 less with tip and we had two full entrees.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Not sure how long I should have to wait for a waiter to take my order in the bar area but it seems that unless you are a "regular" your service gets handled when they are ready to take your order. I have no clue how the food tastes but if I have to wait more than 20min to have someone bring me water and take my order, I don't need to be there. Kudos to the peach margarita for tasting really good. Shoutout to the mango margarita for being strong. It's still not enough for me to EVER come back. I'm sure they don't care about my money being spent there but if my ass comes all the way from Los Angeles...I guess my expectations were too high. I could've had better treatment if I just my own damn self to Mexico. I won't make the mistake of coming back. Off to the wineries I go. Lesson learned.

Yelp
Ambiance: 5/5 Can be lively due to live music performers. Very welcoming. Food: 5/5 Everythhing we have tried from traditional street tacos, chimichanga, albondigas soup, taquitos, fajitas, and on and on are always tasty. Service: 5/5 Always have had great service here. Very accommodating if you have specific requests. Drinks: BOMB...DOT....COM In today's times you definitely get more than enough compared to what you pay.

Yelp
Sat at the bar bc it was busy. Ordered a sprite. I pounded it bc I was so thirsty but decided I needed a little caffeine so I switched it to Dr Pepper like 20 minutes later when she finally checked on us. She was terrible and we were so thirsty from our meals but it was busy so we didn't make a deal of it. Then she brings the bill with both the Dr Pepper and sprite on it. Now, if there's no free refills I would expect to pay for two drinks. BUT, they have always had free refills on soft drinks. She then loudy said "you drank two drinks didn't you!" Lmao. Yes I did, Karen! Just switched to get caffeine. But okay. She stormed away saying said she'd ask the manager, but as this point was just trying to piss me off and take more time. Comes back and claims he said no. Needless to say, skip this sewer scented establishment. They are petty.

Yelp
Discovered this place about 3 years ago during Covid. They were one of the only places still open for dining on the patio. Greatly appreciate that they continued to take care of the community even during such unprecedented times. I've visited a few times since then and enjoyed each meal. The albondigas soup is so flavorful. Can't go wrong there. My go to meal is the Guadalajara Grill! Grilled chicken breast, grilled steak and shrimp served with rice, beans, side salad and warm tortillas! It's a huge portion that could easily be shared. Sadly, I've finished this darn thing by myself!. Soooo good! The steak was super tender. Ask for more tortillas if needed to finish off the beans and rice. Keep on Yelp'n!

Yelp
Really good Mexican restaurant with good service. We got lucky because they had a live 2 man mariachi band on Friday night at about 7:00pm. The beans were really good. Chips and salsa were fabulous. We will be back to try more things.
google avatar

Yelp
Best place to be in a Friday after a long week! My husband and I enjoy this place! Great service, great and amazing staff.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally tried this place, since I was craving Mexican food. The chips were good but the salsa was just meh. I had the beef crispy taco which was tasty (hard not to be) and the chili relleno. Very disappointed in the relleno. The chili was very light green and mushy, definitely not a pablano, almost like it was canned. No stem. Coating was soggy and unflavorful. Ambiance is cute and festive, with nice outdoor seating. Service was okay, although not a fan of the handheld card machine. Won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty delicious is all I gotta say! There is plenty of parking in the dedicated lot. We had several people and a reservation, reservations recommended! Lots of novelty decor. I ordered the birria tacos and they were absolutely excellent! Service is very speedy and the staff friendly and kind. Be sure to roll the R's on those birria tacos when you order them! Lest your companion may make fun of your gringo Spanish!

Yelp
This place was cute. I'll start out with the customer service. The service was good. Everyone was nice from the moment we checked in. The wait was only 10 mins on a Sunday so that was nice. Our server was pretty busy so she didn't come to our table at all for about 10/15 mins after we were seated. Usually that might have been a little annoying but with the system they have in place we didn't mind at all. As soon as we sat down a sweet older lady brought us chips and salsa and waters for everyone. That kept us all busy. Food was Good. I had ordered my carne asada to be extra crispy since that's how I like it, and it came out the exact opposite of that. I didn't mind because once I took a bite I thought the flavor was great. All in all we all enjoyed our food. I really liked the flavor of the salsa and the chips were so fresh they were still warm when they got to us. I would definitely come back and try other things. I also really enjoyed the flan!!
google avatar

Dina N.

Yelp
We decided to try this place based on the good reviews. This was the worst Mexican food I have ever tried. I ordered a combination plate that included Chile Relleno and cheese enchilada. Both were cold. When I got the attention of the waiter, he took the plate without saying anything, and a few minutes later, he brought back the same plate that he had reheated. Who does that? My husband ordered the steak fajita. The only thing that was edible was the beans and the rice. Even the salsa is awful, and the chips were stale. This is subpar Mexican food for people who want quantity over quality.

Yelp
On Saturday May 17th we threw the best graduation party. I just want to give Peter and Jimmy and Guadalajara's staff that helped with our event on the patio a huge shoutout!!! You all made our event very special. The food was fantastic the service was amazing the music recommendation was great!!! Loved having our own space to ourselves it was perfect!!! Our graduate had the best time and all who attended. The Pratt family loves Guadalajara's Mexican grill and would recommend your venue to throw a party to anyone!! I loved being outside!! Thank you so much!!!!! ‍

Yelp
I know how to make Chile Verde. I don't have the patience, nor know how to make my favorite dish though... Chile Colorado! I had it to go tonight, and it was excellent!!! Made my night! Definitely recommend this place for both. We had three of their Chile Verdes to go as well. Muy deliciosa!

Yelp
This place is always busy, so make sure to make reservations. The service is top-notch, and the food was simply amazing. Prices are reasonable.

Yelp
Guadalajara is one of my favorite spots in Temecula! Every single time we go, it's delicious! Fresh, hot chips and tasty salsa! I always get the shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada! You can't go wrong here! Service is great and its always busy, especially in the evenings! The ambiance is fun, it's a cozy place and the food always hits the spot!!

Yelp
Guadalajara Mexican Grill & Cantina in Temecula knows how to bring the fiesta. From the moment I walked in, the energy was electric--vibrant décor, live music in the air, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family. The food was incredible. I had the carnitas plate and it was done just right--crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful inside. The mango habanero shrimp tacos had the perfect kick and were gone way too fast. I was also excited to see AsomBroso Tequila behind the bar! I went for a Reposado margarita and it was everything I hoped for--smooth, fresh, and made with care. Huge shoutout to the team at Guadalajara for keeping the flavors strong and the drinks even stronger. I'll definitely be back. -Rick

Yelp
Amazing food. Super great portion size. The service is incredible from the Monet you sit down to leave they are attentive and friendly. There are a lot of Botha for comfy sitting and easy to fit in families.

Yelp
Good food. And flavorful drinks pretty good prices for margaritas could have been stronger, lucky I got the floater shot also. Hearty portions got to take some home. Chicken not so fun was chewy and dry. Only brought 3 small corn tortillas for all this food maybe should provide a couple more. May go back again but no chicken just stick with the beef. Nice decor and friendly atmosphere.
