Guadalajara Tacos

First time here. The service was great. Very professional & Friendly. Tacos were tasty and perfect. I would go there again & recommend this place.

The agua de fresas con crema from Taqueria Guadalajara is, without a doubt, one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. It’s so good that I’ve gone to the taqueria just for the water at least 20 times, and every time, it has been consistently delicious. The blend of fresh strawberries and cream creates a rich, smooth texture that’s perfectly sweet without being overpowering. It’s refreshing, indulgent, and just the right balance of creamy and fruity. While I’ve tried the food at Taqueria Guadalajara and always enjoyed it, the agua de fresas con crema is what keeps me coming back. It’s not just me, either. I’ve shared the small, sealed version with several of my loved ones, and everyone who’s tried it has loved it just as much. The fact that they offer a sealed size makes it easy to gift or take on the go, which is a huge plus. If you’re a fan of strawberry flavored drinks, this is a must try. It’s miles ahead of any artificial strawberry milk or smoothie you can taste the real fruit and the care that goes into making it. Whether you’re stopping by for tacos or just craving something sweet and refreshing, this drink is worth the trip. 5 stars for the drink.

They were open on Christmas so I decided to try them out. First thing I noticed when I walked in I loved that they had a salsa bar. I hate going to a taqueria and they want to skim on the salsa. Here you wouldn’t have to worry about that. The food was delicious. The service was good but I don’t speak Spanish which kinda made it hard to communicate my order but we worked it out.

Delicious street tacos with quite good carne asada and super tasty shredded chicken. Add the orange salsa on top, for sure. Tortillas are thick enough that just one was needed for each. The Queza Birria tacos are unique - I think they dipped the tacos in the au jus before frying and grilled it up with cheese and large chunks of carnitas. I'm all in.

Absolutely the best tacos in the island. I am Mexican and every bite reminded me of my grandma's cooking. The tacos were amazing and we also tried the esquite and especially the Tijuana tacos. Love the family environment felt like home. If you are looking for great service and authentic best tacos and Mexican food. This is a must if you are in Ponce.

Wow! The steak fries are so good and portions are huge! Big enough for two people! Shrimp tacos are very good, love the salsa bar & horchata!

I am not one to write reviews, but I felt that it was necessary to write this. I loved this place so much, I would come here very often for the past few years. I have never had a bad experience, up until recently. I am not sure what happened, but the recent experiences I have had were not good at all. It seems that the quality of the food has gone downhill because I have gotten sick from eating here twice, which has never happened before. What makes it worse is that I have been overcharged twice by the same person at the register. The customer service and food quality has gone downhill a lot, I won't be coming back any time soon.

There's better Mexican food all over the bay area but you gotta give props to the owners and staff of this bright sunny happy and alright I admit it is a delicious place. Maybe an actual trip to Guadalajara that involves jet engines and cruising altitude and margaritas out of a bottle might be a teeny bit more fun and delicious and happy and sunny tan making but for East Bay SF this place may not take the cake but it's definitely in the running. 😊🥳🤗

Came here for pick up a couple of times and got a cabeza quesadilla which was stuff with cheese and meat. It comes with a side of lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole. I love that they have a salsa bar so while waiting for my order, I stocked up on the different kinds of salsas, lime, peppers, and marinate veggies. There's also extra pico de gallo! The meat is pretty tender with some fatty pieces which I like. There's a great amount of cheese inside a grilled tortilla. The quesadilla is pretty big so I split it into 2 meals although I could probably eat it all if I didn't eat all the crusts.

Fast and friendly staff. Food was super yummy! Such a hidden gem in Hayward! Will be coming back .

Today I spent $70 for 3 people to eat. The food was good but not $70 for nachos, a quesadilla and a taco salad. The salsa area is self service but barely had anything and wasn't cleaned up. When serving the drinks the girl at the register wiped the cup with a towel that I don't know how long it had been sitting there. The girl with the glasses at the register should NEVER be allowed to be up front. This is the second time I went in there and she is simply RUDE. She has no customer service skills and seems irritated to be working or having to help anyone. There are several places in the area. There won't be a need for me to return.

Friendly staff, carve asada tacos are good. Fast service. Tortilla seem home made makes it worth the stop.

Great spot for lunch! I ordered the shredded chicken huarache and the fish taco. The huarache was filling and delicious. I would not recommend the fish taco, it was too much breading. For both items I paid around $15. Plenty of seating. Service was not as quick because they were having WiFi issues. They had to turn away a lot of customers that were using credit cards. Hopefully this could be figured out next time. Friendly cashier!

I've passed this place with it's bright lights for a long time now. Finally we were craving tacos after a Target run so we stopped in here (I checked online ordering first but it's way more expensive to order online btw). We ordered quesabirria, an asada super taco, and a shrimp taco. They were each $5, which my husband thought was a bit crazy. I do agree that is expensive for a taco, BUT these tacos were huuuuge. Plus the tortillas are handmade and super yummy! Also, don't forget to hit the salsa bar! The asada had really good flavor, but I feel like they used beans as a filler to make the taco bigger? Shrimp taco was yummy, the pico de gallo and the dressing was good. The quesabirria was delicious! One downside was there wasn't consomme? I didn't notice until I got home so I don't know if they just don't do consomme or if it's extra? Bummer, but they were still pretty yummy without it.

Stopped by here on a fluke headed home and saw they had quesabirria tacos so figured why not. Listen, these are some of the BEST quesabirria tacos I've had! The service was friendly and the cashier indulged me and I ordered in Spanish We got our food in a decent amount of time. I got the tacos and my daughter got a cheese quesadilla. She enjoyed it ! The tacos has such a great balance of meat, cheese and tortilla. The consume was an extra $3 but SOOOOOO worth it I literally could drink it (I did not .. maybe lol) Anyway, the meat was cooked perfectly, very flavorful and moist. I didn't use any extra toppings on it other than a squeeze of lime. We also got Horchata and Jamaica frescas and they were yummy! We will definitely be back!!

Service needs to improve also quality of the food. Not returning unfortunately due to these things.

My family and I love the food and agua frescas. I experienced both dine in and takeout and very satisfied with both. I have only placed my order in person. The quality of food is great, even as next day leftovers. The wait time wasn't very long, even when they were busy. There are menu screens that give you a picture of their most popular dishes, which can be great with choosing from their good variety of choices they offer. It can also be very confusing because everything looks and sounds so appetizing. The cashiers are usually bilingual and very friendly and helpful. Also in the restaurant, there is a side bar with a good variety and well plenished supply of condiments, including two types of green salsa and red salsa, pico de gallo, peppers, radishes, cucumbers, and limes. We have tried the following: Tacos, Taco Salad, Quesadilla Super, and Agua Frescas (Strawberry with Cream, Strawberry, and Jamaica-Hibiscus). We've tried the asada, al pastor, and carnitas. The location is easy to find, has a decent size private parking lot, and has well lit parking at night, which I greatly appreciate. This is definitely one of the best Hispanic food restaurants in Hayward!

My husband and I have been here a handful of times & wish we went sooner! Fish tacos, homemade tortillas, birria tacos & super burritos are so, so, so good!!!!!! So flavorful. Their horchata is different but in a good way! Creamy, sweet & delicious! Goes perfectly with our meal. The workers there are very kind every single time.

Ok! This has to be one of my top tacos places I've had in the Bay Area. I tried the Al pastor and the tacos had a lot of flavor. They were definitely a little pricey but were worth it. They have a salads bar which I loved. I can get whatever salads and toppings I want. The place was surprisingly packed for a weekday at 8pm. They have a tiny parking lot but it can be a bit packed and tight. If you're craving tacos I would definitely give this place a try however they also have other food that I saw a lot of people getting like the nachos and burritos.

Solid late night option in the Hayward area!!! We ordered their super burrito with carne asada and asked for it to be grilled (thank me later!). This thang was LOADED! They did not skim out on the meat at all. The only thing was that the cheese wasn't fully melted but it was overall a fire burrito. We also tried their carnitas tacos! Props to them for the CRISPY carnitas! A lil greasy but that's how you know it's legit!!! Self serve salsa bar is always a plus!

2nd time here. We ordered Shrimp Taco, Fish Taco, Beef Tongue Taco, Queza Birrias, and the Strawberry and Cream Aqua. All are good, portion is big, if the taco can be pan fried, that will be great. Not the best taco I've had before, but ok, service is good and fast, tips not required. Very affordable meal. May come back.

Overall, very friendly staff very welcoming and fast service . Food was super good, their asada is bomb, their pastor is a 3/4 but I'm picky with pastor. The salsas are hella good the spicy creamy green one was me and my bfs favorite. They have a salsa bar which is great because you can get as much as need.

Guadalajara Tacos is a decent spot for Mexican food, nothing amazing but solid. The place is fairly clean which is always a plus. The real standout in my opinion is the horchata, easily the best I've ever had and I've tried plenty versions while living in San Diego. I asked what makes it so good but the owner says the recipe is a secret. Worth coming back just for that, I personally really like it

The tacos are the bomb! Please, do not compare the franchise to their ice cream parlor which is horrible. Anyways, I've only had their tacos de asada and al pastor. They are super delicious. The tortillas are handmade, and are bigger than your regular street taco tortillas. They have a self service salsa bar that is very fresh. The meats are very savory and they give you a nice amount for your buck. The cashiers and cooks are friendly and very attentive. They have music playing, so it's great you can have conversations or bring in the kids.

I've been to tacos Guadalajara a few times before I decided to finally do a review. The aguas frescas here are the main attraction! They are the best! Which is honestly why I gave them a full 5 stars. My favorite is the strawberry horchata. It's like a treat, creamy, and sweet! The cucumber agua fresca I recommend for a warm day, it's refreshing! The food here was delicious in the first few months of opening. The tacos are delicious and big! It seems like the tortillas are hand made but I'm not positive. The last time I came here it seemed that the cook was having a lazy day because my super taco was missing some ingredients and looked like they just threw it together. However, the flavor was on point. Overall, a 4/5. The service here is ok, your average taqueria. The establishment is bright and fun. Hard to miss while driving by Ast. When you visit be sure to try their delicious salsas and pickled cucumbers! The cucumbers are delicious!

Definitely slept on since there is a huge competitor down the street off the freeway. But I'll keep coming here for sure. Workers here friendly and inviting -- Don't forget patient. The first time I dined here, there were kids that were partaking in the devil's lettuce. So they were talking slow, changing their minds, etc. The ladies were calm, collected and took their orders with no annoyance or anger in their voices. Then when we ordered, same cadence. Every time I've been back since, same kind tone. The workers are cool too, they play fun music as they are working. The super tacos here are fire, so is the Cuban torta -- As far as protein options are concerned, this place has less than its competitor down the street. But it makes up for it in quality of food, protein size, and flavor. My favorites are the carnitas and tripe tacos. I am indifferent about the tripe. It doesn't seem like tripe. As in the texture is different. Also, tripe in grocery stores is pretty inexpensive and the option here is expensive compared to the other meat options. I still enjoyed it though. Also, they have a legit sauce bar where I pack tons of their seasoned cucumbers and avocado salsa. The Cuban torta is HUGE. Comes with sausage, fried chicken, steak, avocado, etc. I could only ever eat one side of the bread because it is too filling (also, not a huge fan of bread). It's basically a meat lover's sandwich. Definitely will fit macros for a good post-workout meal. Overall, delicious spot that rivals the competitors on A Street. I need to come back and try their menudo.

Ordered super nachos to go. It was just ok. A little lackluster in the toppings though.

Still enjoying the food but do not understand why a door dash order has better packaging to go then regular customers? I recently had dinner here and asked for super nachos to go. When the order was ready I saw the nachos were put together, but a week prior did a Doordash pickup and was impressed with the thoughtfulness of not having soggy nachos so was disappointed when the gal behind the counter told me basically sorry. My husband still enjoyed them but not the same.

I ordered through grub hub on Yelp since they didn't offer a phone number to call and order. The food was good, I ordered Al pastor tacos, the meat itself was not my favorite I wish I opted for the carne asada instead but I can appreciate the grilled pearl onion and Serrano pepper on the side. The burrito was also good, solid they were a little heavy on the beans but still a pretty good burrito. The carne asada nachos were also good, I love the carved meat. I also really appreciated how they packaged everything separately for the nachos so my chips were not soggy. They put the chips and meat in the box and the other toppings on the side, very thoughtful on their part for the consumer experience. They have a self serve salsa bar that had everything! Pico, two to three salsas, pickled jalapeños and carrots, radish, limes, they even had the cucumber side!! The shop itself felt nice and cozy and I'm so glad they have their own small parking lot.

Guadalajara Tacos opens where Best Burger was. inside dining available. small parking lot outside has tightly stripped lanes. offerings: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, aqua fresca, menudo, tortas, nachos, desserts ... drill: order at counter, get #, pick up food when # is called. eats: menudo (14) came with 4 house made corn tortillas -generous bowl of weak beefy tasting broth with large portion of tender tripe and a portion of tender pork feet. raw onions, dried condiments, chili pieces, lime squeeze, and salt provided. opted out of chili pieces. maybe a few could have improved broth. drink: horchata (5) -uber sweet milkiness with slight cinammon taste -bottom of cup had white powder residue. commercial takeouts: -has salsa bar where one can customize with salsas, various condiments.. -small parking lot with spaces narrowly stripped. easy to park upon white divider lines. -fabulous service... 3.5 stars: an hit for gluttons, a near miss for gourmets. YMMV.

I kinda got my own taco sampler plate BIRRIA-5/5 GRILLED CHICKEN 5/5 SHREDDED CHICKEN 4/5 ASADA 5/5 no real complaints everything tasted fine very well flavored meat . Served with cilantro and onions. There is a salsa bar inside that is self service. The reddish salsa was the most spicy .. im glad I tried it because I am not a fan of reddish but the salsa was good .. next time I'll try the steak fries Customer service was good and the menus are in English & Spanish. Their drinks are served in Boba cups so they are convenient for traveling and togo orders

Had to give this place a try saw that it was new restaurant, I remember there used to be a burger spot here before. Where to start? Walking in it had a nice vibe going on with their music choice! It was a bit difficult trying to read the menu when the menu kept changing to the next part of the menu showing all their options. But it wasn't a big deal and I decided to get pastor tacos, I like mine plain with a order of a shrimp taco. My friend got a fish taco with a pastor mulitas. They had a salsa bar which was a plus!!! Had sooo many options to pick from and it was self served so you can grab as much as you like! The tacos for me were very delicious and flavorful it was made just right but the shrimp taco kept falling apart making it hard to eat. My friend's taco and mulitas were great and delicious as well!! This spot had delicious food and so many food options. The drinks were to die for they were made perfectly and definitely worth the money. They seal the cups like boba seals their cups which a nice touch to have so your drink won't spill over and make a mess. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back here again. Can't wait to try their other location that serves ice cream!

I ordered the asada burrito, fish tacos, and a passion fruit drink. The Mexican music added to the ambiance, and the staff were incredibly kind and quick to serve. A must-visit spot for delicious Mexican food and great service!

We were looking for a quick bite for lunch and were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the staff gave us complimentary tacos to try with a spicy salsa. Everything was great!! I look forward to my next visit! Oh! And the Horchata was fantastic!!

Birria and consommé was so delicious! Meat tender and consommé was tasty not greasy. Best in town for as much as I've tried. Salsa was on with the crunchy chips was delicious! My bf ordered the super tacos in carne asada and boy was he disappointed- not enuf meat at all.

Ordered Asada tacos. The food has potential and the flavor was there but was disappointed in how soft the tacos were (not heated all the way) & how fatty the meat was. I'm also used to limes coming with my tacos but they don't here so make sure to ask!

I'm so over the moon they opened up a location here in Hayward. I grew up eating at this restaurant chain in San Leandro all my life. This location has a sauce bar with cucumbers and a bunch of spicy salsas. The food was delicious. I ordered 2 cabeza tacos and menudo. I really enjoyed both. The menudo tasted very fresh and well cleaned. Tripe often has a terrible flavor if not properly prepared. This places did it right! The menudo was flavorful and delicious. I had to order some for Togo as well! Definitely stop by for some delicious food.

It is a pretty new place nearby our house. Their business sign is very bold and attractive. You can't ignore it! We have been wanting to go and finally got some items today. Everything we ordered were sooo delicious and with very generous amount of ingredients. Their prices are pretty reasonable. It is our favorite Mexican place from now on. Definitely recommend!! Try it yourself and you would agree with with me!

One of the best super burritos I've had in a while. They also have a full salsa bar with different salsas, avocado salsa, jalapeños, radish, seasoned cucumbers, etc. I got a cabeza super burrito with everything on it. It was amazing and super filling. Definitely worth the $13. Plenty of seating around as well but I can see this place filling up during the lunch rush. I came after the rush and there were 2 other tables with me which is impressive. I'm definitely coming back and trying their birria and tacos next time!!

Salsas lacked flavor. Nice service. Good sized ambiance. My burrito wasn't too flavorful and was a little soggy. Mind u I didn't ask for extra guac or sour cream it was just a simple super carne asada. I do wish this establishment luck tho.

the food was cold when picked up... also the asada was so fatty i couldn't do it. probably would've been better if it was hot probably not.

Watch out for moldy tortillas from this place. I went here today and got a fish taco, the tortilla appeared moldy. I should have taken a picture, but missed the opportunity. I returned and brought back the taco to show the staff. The staff originally believed it was moldy as well until the girl making the tortillas came and explained she was making them on the spot. I was told the purple cabbage can cause discoloration. I was offered another taco, but I declined, I lost my appetite. Their behavior was dismissive and they did not offer a reimbursement. At the end of the day, I understand the mix up and maybe the taco was fine but their approach to customer service was terrible and I wasn't helped.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Horrible place! Only ordered one taco and they took FOREVER! Someone came in after me and ordered 4 different things and they got their food before me. Will never be coming to this establishment again, horrible service. Staff was rude, the girl in the glasses had a horrible attitude as if she didn't want to work there, felt like I was rushed to order but waited an eternity for my food. Do not recommend!!

Best tacos in Hayward, hands down. Corn tortillas are hand made to order and their carnitas is incredible. Generous portions and an amazing salsa bar. Their red salsa has chunks of avocado and radish, making it extra delicious.

Amazing shrimp tacos! Must try! It was delicious! Very fresh. We also ordered drinks. I recommend the mix fruit. The restaurant is cleaned by the staff constantly. Friendly staff. Lots of parking.

Everything here is amazing! This is our favorite Mexican spot in Hayward. The carne asada has that unique flavor that we love.

The asada tacos are always delicious. The meat is tender, juicy and full of flavor. The salsa bar has a few different options but I can confirm, their all hella good! I haven't had any of their other dishes yet. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. If Carne Asada is your thing, you gotta try this place.

Take out food man late night on a Sunday and quality is on point. We got two quesabirirria tacos and carne asada fries with adobada and carne asada. Everything was great. That feed two hungry adults easily with left over fries.

drinks are good, some are sweeter than others, the tacos are really tasty as well. Only had the birria tacos because i've been looking for a good place that sells them and wow those tacos are addicting

The food here is definitely giving authentic vibes. I ordered 3 tacos since they said they where small but they where actually normal size tortillas. The agua con fresa delicious!!! The service was fast and the area was clean they have a salsa bar. I recommend for a lunch option!

Let's just say delicious food, great customer service, fast service, handmade tortillas, salsa bar, plenty of parking! What more could you ask for!? Def will be coming back..

I was excited to try this new restaurant. I was hoping that I would love it, since it's convenient and very close to my house. I ordered the steak fries. The fries were delicious and the ingredients were fresh, but it hardly had any meat. The worst part was 70% of the meat had Gristle, and cartilage. i could not chew it. I also found fat chunks. The quality of the meat was bad. I won't come back. Im sad bc i wanted to support my fellow Mexicans. There were no customers, so there is no excuse for the fat and gristle to not have been cut off before placing it on my fries. I'm gonna continue to go to Metro Taco for my steak fries.

Ate here 3 times in 1 week...not super proud of that lol. What we've tried: fish, quesa birria, and shrimp tacos, carne asada fries, al pastor super burrito, carne asada super burrito, carne asada super nachos, torta cubana and torta milaneza. The only item I would skip in the future is super nachos and that's because I prefer thicker chips. Otherwise, everything we have tried is delicious!

We come to this place often and we never had a problem before. I love their tacos and their quesabirrias. However, we came today Monday 31 to eat some of their delicious food, but this time when I took my first bite I felt something different inside of the quesabirria and when I Pulled it out, it was a big piece of plastic that I almost ate. I was very disgusted and did not want to eat any more. I took the plate to the MOD to show her and ask for a refund of those 2 quesabirrias. I did not wanted to eat any more. I was disgusted by chewing the plastic and she did not wanted to give me a refund, she told me she could remake the order but she was not allowed to give no money back unless it was a mistake from the kitchen. ARE YIU KIDDING ME????? I FOUND A BIG PICE OF PLASTIC IN MY FOOD AND SHE REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK FOR THOSE 2 QUESABIRRIAS? I could not believe what she was saying to me. I love their food and I actually had the opportunity to meet the owner. He was was very nice and welcoming and I can definitely say that he wouldn't accept the behavior of this person. after this experience they lost my business and a very good loyal customer. I manage restaurants and her poor decision making will make the service very poor at this location. Customer service is very important for the business and I don't think she understands it. I still can't believe she refused to give me a refund after seeing the BIG PLASTIC IN SIDE MY QUESABIRRIA. I ended up not eating and without my money back. I hope someone can contact me to give me my refund of the 2 quesabirrias.
