National Parks Are Reopened. Here’s Where to Go to Avoid the Crowds | Eater

"A Carlsbad brewery-and-pizzeria that reopened with limited dine-in and a patio, offering an array of house-brewed beers from puckering grapefruit goses to creamy coconut porters and popular thin, crispy brick-oven pizzas (including gluten-free and cauliflower-crust options) that regularly sell out." - Matt Kirouac

Beer isn't great but it's OK, the atmosphere is good and they had a fun karaoke. I think Miltons Brewing is way higher quality, and downtown historic. I felt rushed, and that the staff didn't know anything about the beer they were serving. Micro breweries should do better, we're not coming in for a "beer" , we're coming in for an experience. The beer selection was weak, no hazys and nothing imperial.

We’ve been loyal customers of this establishment for the past six years, but unfortunately, our recent experiences have been disappointing. During this past visit, we received a pizza that was missing several ingredients, and the overall quality did not meet the standards we had come to love and expect. I brought this to the manager’s attention in a polite and respectful manner, also noting that the pizzas have seemed noticeably smaller in recent years. Rather than addressing the concern constructively, the manager insisted multiple times that there had been no change in portion size, despite clear photographic comparisons suggesting otherwise. It was also suggested that the pizza only appeared smaller because it was placed in a larger box, a claim inconsistent with both our own photos and those shared by other customers on Google. While I don’t believe in the notion that the customer is always right, I do believe in acknowledging clear, factual feedback. Unfortunately, the conversation felt dismissive and unnecessarily combative, which only added to our frustration. To their credit, the staff did remake the pizza and provided an additional one at no charge. However, after a pattern of declining quality and an unwillingness to take ownership of customer concerns, we’ve made the decision to stop dining here. We truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and considers returning to the level of quality and service that once made this place a favorite in our household. Attached to the review is a picture of the Margherita pizza we received compared to the size of pizza we used to get. Same box. We have several more comparison pictures to post if necessary.

My family came here on a Thursday evening in late March. We were there at 5:30, not long after they opened and the place was packed. The line to order at the counter was long but it moved pretty quickly. We were seated after about 20 minutes with our drinks and the food was out maybe 10 minutes later. I had the green chile lager which was amazing- a little spicy but not too much. We had the cheese curds (really good and seemed home made) pepperoni pizza and the green chile pepper pizza, both were really good. The vibe is fun and welcoming.

We really enjoyed this place to eat. We asked around town for a place to eat, and we were told the pizza was great at this place. We ordered pizza and loved it. Wings and loved those also. We also ordered turkey subs, and they we good, but we thought the bread could have been better. We enjoyed pizza two nights in a row. Would recommend that if you're in the area or passing by, stop and enjoy.

Tasting experience was awkward. Seems like a great local watering hole and pizza spot. Live music. Pizza smelled great. Bar stools were full of patrons eating. After waiting in a cashier line a few minutes behind hungry families ordering food, I ordered a flight. No explanation or education about the beers were provided and I was handed a flight board to carry over to a free table. Flight price was cheap. Their Pinkey Tart and Green Chile Blonde were the most unique.

Who would think that in New Mexico you can find some delicious thin crust oven baked pizza. Love the pizza. A must try and the brew is good too.

Atmosphere was great! Bathrooms were clean! Food was awesome! Beer was good. They are kid friendly! They are dog friendly! I would recommend their big smothered burrito, it's $15 and with steak it's $20 total. The burrito was big enough to split. My wife got the BLT but there was no mayo on it and it was dry.

Good food but only counter service. Good thin crust pizza and a great porter. Good queso and chips
