National Parks Are Reopened. Here’s Where to Go to Avoid the Crowds | Eater

"A Carlsbad brewery-and-pizzeria that reopened with limited dine-in and a patio, offering an array of house-brewed beers from puckering grapefruit goses to creamy coconut porters and popular thin, crispy brick-oven pizzas (including gluten-free and cauliflower-crust options) that regularly sell out." - Matt Kirouac

Guadalupe Mountain Brewing Co. hits hard! Staff was first class. Friendly and attentive service with a smile. The garlic parmesan wings and cesar salad were good and the veggie pizza (add pepperoni) was on point! Solid vibe for a lunch time visit. I did have one IPA and unfortunately I don't remember it's name, but it was hazy and daddy liked. I would haven taken additional beers to go, but availability of flavors were limited and the canner was down I guess.

First time here coming from out of town was a very good one the staff was very helpful with any questions about the menu and brew choice. Good variety of house brews and or local brews. Food menu has a very good variety of food from appetizers to share or just to snack to sandwiches and pizza everything goes well with a house brew. I had the house specialty the Green Chile chicken pizza and it was delicious when In NM you gotta eat some green chile.Merchandise for sale also from hats to shirts to cups and beer mugs to remember the good times you had in Carlsbad,NM. Staying nearby after 4 nights of camping at Guadalupe Mountain Park and touring the caverns. After washing up, we needed some greasy food and beer. This was my spot and it was packed on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I waited in the line to order (about 20 orders deep) and got a meat lover's pizza, Italian sandwich, and Rueben panini, while ordering an IPA to drink while waiting for food. Gave my number to take it to go back to hotel and was told it would be around 25 minutes. After 30 minutes, I went up to the bar and my food was sitting there. It happens with technology, but enjoyed the patio outside with my beer as I looked through pictures of the outdoor adventures. When I got home, we crushed the pizza (which was the best of all the food) and ate half the Rueben. I thought it was good, but my son said the oil (and pickle in to go box) made his sandwich soggy. It didn't matter, as we ate all the food and I thought the sandwiches were fine eating on the drive back to TX.

The best pizza in town! And a great atmosphere. Always busy and for a reason! Good vibes :)

Had an enjoyable lunch. BBQ chicken pizza, hazy IPA and a lager. No complaints! Everything was yummy! Service was top notch!

Exceptional place. I lived in town a few years before they did a change in owner I believe last year in 2025 or 24. Everything's really great that I personally eat, the cauliflower crust on the pizza is perfect, and the antipasto salad is the best. I've also booked the patio which the staff made very easy and convenient for us to come before and get everything set up for the party. Highly recommend

Beer isn't great but it's OK, the atmosphere is good and they had a fun karaoke. I think Miltons Brewing is way higher quality, and downtown historic. I felt rushed, and that the staff didn't know anything about the beer they were serving. Micro breweries should do better, we're not coming in for a "beer" , we're coming in for an experience. The beer selection was weak, no hazys and nothing imperial.

We’ve been loyal customers of this establishment for the past six years, but unfortunately, our recent experiences have been disappointing. During this past visit, we received a pizza that was missing several ingredients, and the overall quality did not meet the standards we had come to love and expect. I brought this to the manager’s attention in a polite and respectful manner, also noting that the pizzas have seemed noticeably smaller in recent years. Rather than addressing the concern constructively, the manager insisted multiple times that there had been no change in portion size, despite clear photographic comparisons suggesting otherwise. It was also suggested that the pizza only appeared smaller because it was placed in a larger box, a claim inconsistent with both our own photos and those shared by other customers on Google. While I don’t believe in the notion that the customer is always right, I do believe in acknowledging clear, factual feedback. Unfortunately, the conversation felt dismissive and unnecessarily combative, which only added to our frustration. To their credit, the staff did remake the pizza and provided an additional one at no charge. However, after a pattern of declining quality and an unwillingness to take ownership of customer concerns, we’ve made the decision to stop dining here. We truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and considers returning to the level of quality and service that once made this place a favorite in our household. Attached to the review is a picture of the Margherita pizza we received compared to the size of pizza we used to get. Same box. We have several more comparison pictures to post if necessary.
