The employees gave the menu and had us sit to only have us order our food at the register. The presentation of the food was nice. Taste of the food could’ve had more seasoning. Cleanliness could’ve been better. Then the restroom has no changing table for babies.

Welcoming atmosphere. :D Well served portion size. If you've never been here you get a menu and decide what will you like to eat. After you get in line to pay before you eat. New! All beverages have free refills.I Definitely recommend, food is yummy 😋 here!

They are busy staff is very friendly. We ordered the chilaquiles, both red and green. They were delicious.

Great Chilaquiles Plate with green sauce, crema, and avocado served with a toasted bread roll. The seasoning was very delicious with enough spice to tickle your tongue. I was told the red sauce is very spicy, and I'm not there yet. The restaurant itself is very clean and restroom standard. If you're in the city of Huntington Park, check this place out. They serve breakfast all day.

Went to have brunch over here and I fully enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The plated where pretty big. The chilaquiles boy there where awesome. Also enjoyed their quesadillas. I also tried the chile relleno and it was off the chain. I'll be back here whenever I visit LA again!

My wife and I went try the Chilaquiles Verdes and Chilaquiles Rojos. I saw this place on LA Foods top best Chilaquiles spots . I would give them a solid 8/10 for both . Great service by the way, friendly workers. Good service is a lost art now days . Best Chilaquiles Rojos I’ve had are still, “Doña Félix” Mid City. Best Chilaquiles Verdes, “El Charro” Rampart area, 6th street .

My group of me and 3 coworkers came in for lunch today. Very impressed with this place. Front of house was super knowledgeable and passionate about their food! We were told the chef is also the owner. I ordered the combination chilaquiles with huevos and carne asada. It was fantastic. I ordered it extra spicy. The heat level wasn't where I wanted it, and the waiter brought me more arbol salsa, and that really kicked it up a notch. Also, free refills on horchata! I will be coming back to try other menu items when we're back in town. Thanks for the awesome meal!

So let's start with the good side, the place is a decent size and is family friendly. However, there's lots of room for improvement. The place was not the cleanest, the service sucked (there was only one server and just two customers and she was inattentive I had to ask for more coffee a couple of times instead she was playing with a little girl). I got the hurache de asada and I'm bummed out that they barely put any meat on it. The size of the hurache is almost the size of the plate which is a decent size. The hurache is also crunchy and very tasty which I really enjoyed. But the rating is based more on cleanliness and customer service. I also have to add that the little girl was yelling and crying which was very disturbing.

You might not sit down at a table until you order then you're allowed to sit and if busy you wait outside with your number and they will call you when your table is ready. Service is quick and employees are on top of the cleaning and attending to their guest. Food is delicious Very fast paced but also servers walk around to ask if anything is needed TVs are on. The frames around the restaurant are nice.

Chilaquiles cravings are fulfilled! Red or green served with steak and eggs. Definitely my spot to go. My rating is: BEST Chilaquiles in South Gate!

Food was delicious the sauce for chilaquiles is perfect and their enchiladas VERDES are actually flavorful. Customer service is also very great! Will be back to try other things.

Stop by around 11 AM for brunch, amazing atmosphere as soon as you walk in the waitresses are smiling and greet you. Clean location, friendly, customer service. Food came out within 5 to 10 minutes. The food was very tasty, almost had like a home-cooked feel. Definitely recommend, music playing in the background upbeat. Seats about 50-70 people. Food was delicious, aguas frescas were also good.

Cute little place in HP. The food was good, portions were great, especially the home made tortillas. The staff super friendly and nice. Like the fact that fountains drinks are free refills. I just have to say that the prices were a bit high. I definitely will recommend this place.

My coworkers and I came here since its just down the street from us and we read an article where the best chilaquiles were here. I am normally not a fan of chilaquiles but I was open to try. We ordered two asada chilaquiles, one with scrambled eggs, and they were good! Salsa verde was flavorful, the asada was nicely done. I ordered a huarache the asada and unfortunately did not meet my expectations. It was dry, flavorless, and there was just something missing. I would not get this again. The bread they give you while you sit in the restaurant was great, the service was fantastic, and would definitely go back to try something else.

Service is great, food is PERFECT My favorite dish is everything on the menu, their salsas and hand made tortillas make me feel like I'm in Mexico City. Overall my favorite restaurant in this city.

This restaurant, when they open I do recommend to all my friends but not anymore I went over today and ordered a huarache de lengua it was very poor in food the lengua looks like it from a week old and very small portion gor the price therefore I don't think im goin back to that place, and don't recommend anymore.

On my last visit the food was not the same as before. The cashier was friendly but the food was very poorly cooked. I can't believe they don't know the terms for eggs. apartI decided to try huarache with eggs for the first time. It was a disappointment, the egg was very poorly cooked. I'll never go back

One of the best Mexican restaurants in LA. Everything was authentic. Breakfast choices were also excellent.

I ordered chilaquiles verdes . They were too spicy . I asked for sour cream to take away some of the spice away . They wanted to charge me $2.00 extra for it . It's not the cashiers fault . I just feel it's just common curtsy's for good customer service to have an ultimate food satisfaction and I did not receive . Please train your staff for excellent customer satisfaction!

Had the bistec ranchero. Very yummy and service was really great. Wish I was in this area more.

I love coming here for an authentic Mexican breakfast. The food is amazing and they offer a little bit of everything. The service is great - the food is amazing you will never be disappointed.

As a first timer I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the chilaquiles verdes. You can never go wrong with eggs on top. Every bite was worth it. Service was welcoming and attentive. It felt like I was having food at a family gathering. Definitely coming back !

What a find. Excellent meat and pork. Had a HUGE burrito with pork. And date had meat with mole. Exceptional ingredients. Warm chips and salsa which is homemade not from a jar. Will be back.

First time trying from this restaurant. I ordered an Asada wet burrito and there was only like 3 chunks of meat and the rest just beans and rice its really disappointing. I do NOT recommend this place.

I am a big Chilaquiles fan and I love Guajillos chilaquiles verde. Good portion and I add asada with Eggs. I think it's some what pricey BUT worth every penny. Very authentic and they have fresh orange juice which is a plus!

The food was delicious here not gonna lie I give them 5 stars for the way they keep it clean and it smells bomb as soon as you walk in. If you know anything about De Efe then you'll recognize with the pictures on the wall and you can hear in the waiters voice and that's when you know it's gonna be fire. I got my menu and let me tell you it all looked good my waiter Claudia assured me that if I'm looking for some real authentic Chilango food I came to the right spot, I chose my huarache de asada and it was delicious and the flan at the end for desert hit the spot

So glad to have tried this place today! Chilaquiles are my favorite food and these are some of the best I've had! So delicious! We also had tacos de lengua and a huarache with carne asada. The tortillas, the meat, and salsas were all very tasty. Excellent customer service! I love that you can order from their counter and the TV showing videos of their dishes is fun too. Wow! Very good chilaquiles. Since they closed our go to restaurant we are always on the quest to find good chilaquiles. Guajillo did not disappoint. We ordered chilaquiles rojos with asada and huevos. We also ordered a huarache 1/2 rojo 1/2 green with huevo. The chilaquiles we're on point, however it does not come with rice or beans. I recommend maybe ordering that as a side, we will be doing that next time. Portion is well served. Chilaquiles are nice and crunchy and they don't go light on the cheese and crema. As for the huarache I felt it was missing something. Maybe more sauce? But it was still ok, not terrible I would order again and maybe ask for extra sauce on top. We also got flanes to - go. We got coco, vanilla and rompope. They were so delicious, soft, creamy and not too sweet. Customer service was on point. I don't rate on CS on food only, but they were very welcoming. We will definitely be back.

I am so glad I gave this place a chance , I was craving chilaquiles so bad and this place was the closest to my house, I called and place a phone order, I went in and saw is a whole coffee vibe type of restaurant 10/10 a must try on the chilaquiles, my husband and I are coming back for the pozole looks good. The customer service was great I was approach by a gentleman.

I love the quality of the food here . My favorite thing to order is the wet burrito . When ordering over the phone they normally have my food really within 12-15 mins which is perfect for me . When picking up the food the restaurant is clean and nice always greeting you when you get to the door and they always give great communication.

Me and my wife tried this place a couple years back, the place was fairly new . The flavors were so authentic , I loved the spot, it reminded me of Mexico . We came back this morning , expecting the same great flavors but was soon disappointed . No flavor in their sauces anymore, had to add Salt myself .. I'm so bummed out . I LOVED this spot, the only spot that had the authentic Mexican flavors I know . Not coming back .. the flavors are gone making the food is mediocre.

Its hard to find good Mexican food.this is really good. we have tried the huaraches with azada. menudo (only on the weekend) it was bomb! Chilaquiles rojos great too. The service was great very welcoming and nice. Zero rudeness:) Ambiance is chill. Highly recommended

Love their Mexican breakfast, particularly the Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles Rojos. Soooo delicious and highly recommend. I come here every so often and staff are always attentive and friendly. The facility is kept clean even during busy times. Parking is generally available in the plaza. Busy spot that prepares really delicious food quickly so must try! :-)

I honestly would like to do more stars but unfortunately, the service that Veronica cashier was very unpleasant. She like to argue with the clients. We order chilaquiles verdes and she put enchiladas verde and she argue that we were the one who order wrong and double charge us. W head to pay extra for what we originally order because of her. The worse attitude towards the customers. Today was the last time I ever come to this place.

Moms brought over a "huarache" today and it had cecina or some sort of steak. DELICIOUS. The salsas were made fresh, the beans were fresh, the masa was fresh, and the meat wasn't overcooked. I loved the red salsa. SPICY AF, but it was the best I've had in years! Thank You Madrecita for the special treat, now I know where to eat when in town.

We placed an order for pickup and waited approximately 30 minutes. Not a problem. My boyfriend got the chilaquiles verdes and I got the red ones. They both had good flavor, the only thing we didn't like was that it had way too much sauce. We personally like our chilaquiles crunchy but the amount of sauce made them super soggy- if that makes any sense lol. Overall they were decent, we would go back but perhaps ask if they can give us the sauce on the side
