"Ask any local where one must go for the South Florida lifestyle, and they’ll tell you Guanabanas. It isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a way of life. Serving lunch and dinner daily, live music usually happens a couple of days a week. A collection of tiki huts are dotted around the property amid palm trees. Brightly painted Adirondack chairs line the creek, ready for a relaxing time filled with drinks, food, and music. There is a good selection of burgers and Southern favorites like catfish po-boy and key lime pie. Detailed instructions regarding bridge clearances are available for dock and dine guests on its website." - J. Miller

This place was beautiful. Our server Steven was great and food was delicious. The atmosphere was really comforting and it was really cool to watch all the boats and cruise tours that were up and down the waterside as well as boats that docked to eat at the restaurant. Thank you for our 1st experience here. Highly recommend NY Strip Steak and Cheese Cakes

Google
Amazing food! I got the aloha burger, it was so tasty. The chicken wings are excellent, well sauced and large. Cuban sandwich was also great. *They don't take reservations in advance, and they are busy! Expect to wait an hour, or get lucky with a hightop near the bar. It's worth the wait though. They have beach chairs for waiting or you can start with cocktails in the bar area.

Fabulous lunch today. Our server was fantastic-happy, polite and guided me for the best meal! Valet guys working very hard-kind and polite. The water views are outstanding. I had one of the best fish entrees here in Jupiter. The Palm Beacher. I had the Tile fish option. Not only was the meal super tasty-but very healthy! I can't wait to back and try the Zuccini noodle entree!

Beautiful Atmosphere & Great Vibes on the Water We had a lovely time at Guanabanas in Jupiter, Florida. The location is absolutely beautiful—lush with tropical foliage, trees, and flowers, all right on the water. Watching the boats go by as we dined made for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The menu offers a wide variety of choices to suit just about any craving, and the drink menu had a great selection, especially for beer lovers. Service was friendly, prompt, and efficient throughout our visit. Pricing was reasonable, with most meals averaging around $20 per person. While the food was good, there wasn’t anything that really stood out as exceptional. That said, the atmosphere more than made up for it. I would absolutely recommend Guanabanas for the setting alone, and we’re looking forward to going back to try more.

Google
Guanabanas was such a vibe! The tropical setting right on the water was gorgeous—like a little island escape. The drinks were fun, the music was chill, and the service was great. Food wasn’t mind-blowing, but the atmosphere made up for it. Would definitely go back just for the experience!

Google
What a gorgeous restaurant with great food and drinks. Waterfront atmosphere is perfect. Several good sized areas are separated from each other so the atmosphere is warm and inviting. My mom loved the playa bowl, I really enjoyed the Rachel Mahi sandwich. I am currently trying all of the grouper or mahi Reuben varieties and the Rachel Mahi is up there so far. It wasn't a huge piece of fish like other places the positive for this being it was a more balanced and manageable sandwich with great flavor. So far I think the Major Rachel has had the best flavor. Will update this review when necessary.

If you're looking for a dining experience that's truly unforgettable, this riverfront gem is a must-visit. The location alone is worth the trip – the breathtaking views of the river create a serene and picturesque atmosphere that enhances every meal. The food? Absolutely exceptional! Each dish is beautifully prepared, bursting with flavor, and the variety ensures there's something for everyone. Whether you're here for a romantic dinner or a special celebration, the combination of unique ambiance, amazing food, and friendly service will leave you eager to return. Highly recommend this place – it's a true hidden treasure!

Google
The most disgusting food I’ve ever had at a restaurant before. This was equivalent to hospital food. The atmosphere is great the vibe is super cute and being on the water but that’s about it. The prices are expensive and everything was grosss I couldn’t even finish it. It didn’t even taste like real chicken. The buffalo chicken dip had huge chunks of supposed chicken. They couldn’t even cut it up or shred it.

Yelp
Great experience overall, a laid back and relaxed vibe. First off, the ambiance was very island life and relaxed. We were lucky to be there on a Friday, around 4:30 because there was nice live music. The view is great because you are on a big canal with mangroves across the way. We were in time for happy hour, which was until 6pm on the Friday that we went. Little tip. - you have to sit at the bar or high tops to get happy hour prices. The food was good, but not great - you know that you're mainly paying for the atmosphere and overall vibes. I think this place is better suited for appetizers and drinks, where you would feel best.

Yelp
This is our second attempt in the past month to eat and drink here. First time, the bar was full and there was 40 min wait, so we went to another local restaurant/bar. This time we got lucky and found seats at the bar. We asked for menus and water. After a few minutes the bartender brought the waters and walked away as we started to order. We waited patiently while she served other patrons. The gentleman sitting next to us had been waiting longer for service and just decided to leave. He appeared upset. We continued waiting while making attempts to grab the bartender's attention - no luck. We gave up and left. When we got to the valet, we ran into another patron who was also complaining about the bar service and was leaving. The bartender was working with a bar back and although most of the seats were taken at the bar-it was not that busy. I don't want to slam the entire restaurant, but if you decide to go, stay away from the bar. We will not be giving it a third try.

Yelp
Food was excellent Tried gator bites Atmosphere lovely trees and plants view of water front Family friends

Pu B.

Yelp
The surrounding river is beautiful and they have outdoor fans to help with the heat and humidity. The food was top tier. The Cuban sandwhich was really really good and their salad was so refreshing with today's fresh catch. The waitress made sure to come around and ask us if we needed anything every so often. Will definitely come back anytime we are in Florida again

Vannessa W.

Yelp
The hubby and I took a day trip to Jupiter and needed to grab a bit to eat. After a quick Yelp search, we found Guanabanas and decided to check it out. We both had a great experience from beginning to end -- the views, the food, the drinks, the service, the ambiance -- it was all great and we can't wait to go back!

Marie F.

Yelp
Last minute search for food. Thankfully we we're able to park easily and didn't have a long wait for a table. Grab drinks at the bar. Nice way to both cool you down and warn you up for dinner. Wanted to sit close to the water since it was near sunset so we waited and chatted up with friendly locals. The views let you feel like you've escaped the city and that was glorious. Server was meh. She didn't know the menu and couldn't give any recommendations. Worried that this was a sign the food would be bad. Fritters, Wings, Plantains, and Greens. We finish off our drinks - still no food. Ice melted in cups and food finally arrives. We order additional drinks and server is gone. Quickly the place filled up. The food was lacking. But server didn't appear til she handed us the check without asking if we we're enjoying our food (not really) or if we wanted to order anything else. The service was so so. The food was so so but the bartender and atmosphere were great.

Mike R.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic, I could stay there all day. Plenty of items to choose from the menu, plenty of drinks available, lots of waterside seating, take a look at their website for the different rooms they have available. Whoever decorated this place did a wonderful job. The staff was very friendly, very prompt, the bathrooms were clean, the food was delicious. Parking is valet. I highly recommend you stop by this place, seriously.

Cassandra N.

Yelp
We were on a road trip home from Jupiter and were told this place was really nice . The Ambiance was STUNNING, sit outside ! It's worth the wait . The food was yummy , we ordered some appetizers and they were all great

Andrea U.

Yelp
We waited almost 2 hours for a table and were given a pager & waited & waited. Nine of us fit at a high top & then moved to a small table. We were told that reservations are through their event person with groups over 20. However, they were groups of 10 that had large tables reserved. I started with a coconut mojito that tasted like seltzer. I miss the bloody Mary bars, but I understand that's on Sundays only. My New England chowder was tasteless as were my Baja fish tacos. Prices seemed significantly expensive, brunch entrees are $30 +. I've been here many times before & was impressed, today was disappointing.

Gabrielle B.

Yelp
Coming from Colorado, I found guanabanas amazing and one of the most unique restaurants I've ever been to. It felt like a more natural rainforest cafe, as it was tucked away under foliage with outdoor seating overlooking a nice river. Very tropical feel and exceptional ambiance! I shared a salad, chips & guacamole with my boyfriend after a fun morning at the beach and it was the perfect snack. I liked that there were vegan options on the menu and shocked that you can order alligator here! The guacamole here is incredible and so fresh. I'd highly recommend coming here for amazing ambiance and exceptional food.

Bryee P.

Yelp
Ambiance is the main reason for the four stars! I can understand how if it rained there wouldn't be much seating. Service is different each time. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's not so great! Food is the same way. Drinks aren't the strongest. We all know I love a strong drink haha! I love their Mexican street corn flatbread! My friends like their fish dip! I get the chicken Caesar wrap each time! The chicken has good flavor. Corn pudding is yummy! Quesadillas are good. My bf says the burgers are ok. I liked the Mac and cheese! Very much enjoy the churros! I'll keep going back !

Shannon S.

Yelp
You cannot make reservations. Get ready to arrive and wait 1-1.5 hours. Get a high top while you wait or go chill in your vehicle with a cooler and scrabble board. If you attend to see music, waiting for a table will not help because the stage is surrounded by high tops. But! Sitting at high tops behind the goofy bridge folks stand on... not really buying drinks or food... they just stand there and block the view. I vote to move the bridge out to the garden and add more high tops. Food and service were good. Demetrius served us.

Kari W.

Yelp
We used to be regulars at Guana's but since the bridge construction and the happy hour changes we haven't been in almost over a year. But my cousin came down to visit and demanded he get another lime in the coconut, so we took the detour and swung in for our favorite wings and a few drinks. We were happy to see they finally added a tequila drink back to the happy hour menu called the Spring Fling and it did not disappoint, and it's actually made with a reposado! And per usual the wings were bomb, we even got a second order! You can't go wrong with a fall off the bone smoked wing with the tastiest of sauces and paired with the best dipping sauce! Glad we finally came back!

Lucia D.

Yelp
Always a beautiful view to enjoy outside and good food. Parking is valet and kind of a nightmare.

Samantha K.

Yelp
Guanabanas is a must when vacationing in Jupiter. It's located on the water and the ambience screams tropical vacation. There's often fun bands playing and a good crowd of people. While I personally haven't loved the meals I've eaten here, I definitely recommend coming here for happy hour, drinks, and dancing.

Brian L.

Yelp
I read reviews but sometimes take them with a grain of salt and try things for myself. Reviews are pretty good for this place but as with anywhere, there's some negative comments. I didn't have any. The food was on point. Yellow Edged Grouper and Cubano sandwich and naturally my kids ate what they eat (fried this or that) - everything was terrific. For me, this is what I want when I visit Florida. Unique, tropical, casual, picturesque and a little bit funky not to mention something that you will not see on the menu out of its region. It was all of that. Although it's outside, the extent they go to make it not only beautiful but comfortable is outstanding. Custom cut vinyl awnings are expertly and expensively strung from palm trees to match the dimensions of the unique exterior patio and lush landscaping - which seems to nestle inside a palm tree jungle in a good way. Fans mounted on every palm tree somehow kept the patio very comfortable in July Florida heat. The view of the mangrove lined waterway and the fishing boats passing by on their way in added to the ambiance. This place seemed almost unnatural in an area that is so manicured and new and all fancy pants. Jupiter is beautiful but it wreaks of Tommy Bahama and Guanabanas is just Bahama without the Tommy but don't worry, they have valets if you are too fancy to walk a half a block. I didn't really test them - as I'm skeptical of ordering at a new place to me - so I went with a Cubano and it was fine. Not the best I ever had but totally fine. Not gonna get all nerdy and critique it, it was tasty. My wife freaked out over her grouper and it looked incredible but I didn't try it for fear of having my finger bit off. Some of our friends had the salmon which I believe was prepared blackened or cajun style and they raved about it. It looked good. My wife had a mojito that she said was off the charts. Menu is pretty accommodating from someone looking for a nice local seafood dish to a good burger. The funky beauty and unique setting of Guanabanas was what did it for me, along with the service. Our server (don't remember his name - some guy from Rhode Island originally) was personable, fast, a total pro and genuinely friendly. The dude made us all feel welcome which is what you want and added to the fun time - which can get hectic with a group of 11. Would highly recommend and go back when in Jupiter and hope it doesn't get all uppity in the winter.

Ric F.

Yelp
I really want to give this more stars because of the awesome atmosphere and views but with the prices of the dishes I cannot! If your new to the area definitely give this place a try and try sit on the outer level to watch the boats go by in the inlet. As you can see the dish I got below was very well plated and i was excited to eat a good tilefish meal at market price. However, the combination of an over salted white wine sauce with the capers, olives and artichokes ruined the entire dish because it was entirely too salty. It got to the point when I had to drain the "white wine sauce" from the rice so I could enjoy my tilefish. Very upsetting especially after a 37$ dish. As for the gator bites, the price point is too high for a mini bowl of bites and there was to much breading that covered tiny little pieces and no dipping sauce. Iv been to places that have gator bites the size of boneless wings and these were a fraction of the size unfortunately. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall, spending $120 was not worth the food experience my wife and I had here.

Mel B.

Yelp
Service was a bit slow, but friendly! (It gets busy for lunch). Burgers and tacos were tasty! Drinks are ok. Gator bites are nothing special. Ambiance is what will make me come back again.

Steven M.

Yelp
Guanabanas offers a unique dining experience in a picturesque waterfront setting. The restaurant's lush outdoor seating area surrounded by swaying palm trees creates a relaxed and tropical ambiance. The menu features a variety of fresh seafood dishes, along with classic American fare and creative cocktails. While the service can be a bit slow during peak times, the friendly staff and scenic views make up for it. Sometimes there is a long wait (I don't think they take reservations) but I believe it's worth the wait. My go-to cocktail drink is the Lime in the Coconut. Overall, Guanabanas is a great spot to enjoy good food and drinks in a laid-back atmosphere by the water.

Trina M.

Yelp
Rude staff specifically the hostess . Food is subpar . I do not recommend this place. There many better restaurants in Jupiter

Yadi C.

Yelp
This is a great place to go and relax. For me as a local it feels like I am on vacation when I go there. Food is good and drinks are too. We have always received good service.

David F.

Yelp
Beautiful landscaping by the water. Perfect for a sunset dining experience like being in an amusement park. The Baja fish tacos are a great starter. Tropical Margarita, coconut mojito, and Cat 5 Hurricane are all delicious and get you in the right attitude for the latitude. Try the bacon, mango salad with a daily catch like triple tail. The macadamia catch was a little much. Lighter preparations like blackened with light salt are better. Get some black beans and rice too. Would be fun to rent a paddle board before your meal to get a feel for the surrounding area. Parking in the free lot a block away or valet is available. It's not too far off of I-95 but you gotta drive through town and across a rail-road track that some yahoos decided to cut in front of me on and then sit on the tracks waiting for the light to change.

Emily H.

Yelp
Went a couple weeks ago and it was decent. I got the spicy shrimp wrap and it was tasty. The views were nice and it's a pleasant place. Very tropical and very Florida. Service was fine. Pretty view of water.

Ethan T.

Yelp
We had a really nice experience at this restaurant in Jupiter recently. Our waitress was Shanna, and she was delightful, friendly, and was knowledgeable about gluten-free preparation. We were meeting some friends and family and she was very patient with our slowness of ordering. We had the soup of the day, which was the lobster bisque, the Huevos Ranchero, the triple-tail catch of the day, the classic fried shrimp and fries, the fat Cuban, and the shrimp eggs Benedict. By far, the shrimp eggs, Benedict were a big hit along with the Grilled triple tail catch of the day (GF). The Huevos Ranchero was a bit small and undewhelming. The setting is very nice as it's right on one of the marsh canals so you've got a lot of active boating and wildlife around you. Great experience and will be back.

Stacey S.

Yelp
First time here and only because I seem to have heard about it in several of the food groups that I'm in. I wish I had read the recent reviews here before I went. Not that it was bad, but the food was "meh" We got there somewhat early on a Tuesday, at like 1 o'clock. The place was pretty quiet. My friend ordered the lobster bisque and Cuban sandwich. The sandwich came. No soup. The waitress said she could go get it and it would only take a few minutes, but my friend declined. I ordered a mango bacon salad with grilled chicken. It was fair. More spinach than anything else. The decor is beautiful. We sat outside on the river and it was very relaxing. The drink menu looked enticing. However, I wasn't ready to have any drinks at that hour. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Was not impressed... And with so many restaurants in the area, I would try them first before returning here.

Michael A.

Yelp
This a a cool restaurant! We went on a weeknight and it wasn't crowded, maybe because it was December (so, cooler) and raining. The seating is semi-outdoor, which I can imagine is very pretty during the day time where you can watch the harbor and the boats. The food is spot on! I had the shrimp and it was prepared immaculately. I very much recommend if you're in the area!

Karina J.

Yelp
Beautiful scenery in this restaurant! We are happy we went on a Monday because we got seated euhhh by the water outside. Food is good but a bit overpriced. Will definitely come back just for the atmosphere.

Katie W.

Yelp
We had a fun lunch at Guanabanas! Beautiful atmosphere that feels like you're in a rainforest - come on a nice day for the full affect! For appetizers we ordered the Buffalo chicken dip, empanadas and steamers. Steamers and Buffalo chicken dip were pretty good. The spicy shrimp wrap was delicious! It came with a yummy spicy Mayo / garlic aioli and I got the yucca fries with it which were great! The service was good. I would recommend checking this spot out!

Julia F.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant to go to if you want to feel like you're on vacation! The thatched roof and palm trees make the restaurant feel very tropical, and the setting along the water is lovely! There was a wait so we got drinks and drank them in Adirondack chairs along the water until our table was ready. The food was good but nothing to call home about. I got the mushroom and Swiss burger which was cooked exactly how I asked and was super tasty! The popcorn shrimp is great but the portion was very small for a $35 dish. The burger was only $16 so definitely better bang for my buck. I'll definitely come back here for the great ambiance and live music!

Jadah H.

Yelp
Guanabanas ambiance and environment alone was amazing. I loved the feel of being "inside and outside." The menu was full of appetizers, sandwiches, seafood, and drinks. I had the spicy shrimp wrap and the adult grilled cheese (added tomato) and both were full of flavor. The service at Guanabanas was attentive and I could see they are an "all hands on deck" restaurant as we saw many servers helping the others. Portions were small-medium but overall had a great experience and would go back!

Vanessa G.

Yelp
First of all, if I could give 0 stars I would. The only nice thing about Guanabanas is the views and location. Hostess don't even look up nor greet you when you arrive, 4 girls all sitting looking down at their phones couldn't be bothered to greet us, even as we politely stood there and waited for them to notice us. Extremely rude! This was the worst experience, and it was my aunt's birthday. How embarrassing! Food is mediocre at best, I asked for a medium burger and it was beyond well done. So dry! My bf got the "world's famous" Cuban sandwich omg what a laughing stock! It was so dry and the TINEST Cuban sandwich I've ever seen!! I've been to Guanabanas so many times, and this visit was by far the worst. Crazy how when we asked to speak to the manager, the GM showed up all the sudden, and had to clean the table we were going to be sitting at herself, and all of the sudden from a 40 mins wait it went down to just 5 mins. They can do so much better! Find friendlier staff! Seems like this place gets worse every year

Denise H.

Yelp
Sat at the bar yesterday with my husband for a late lunch and ordered a drink and some wings.. Wings were good but the Drinks were incredibly weak and I was going to try my usual vodka and soda but the bartenders were too busy socializing amongst themselves that we just decided to leave.. The girls were pleasant enough but the bar wasn't busy at all and they weren't paying attention to their customers...

Dymond F.

Yelp
So I always heard about this spot but never been. I was in the area and decided to give them a try for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is very vacation like. I'm positive this spot is a hit for happy hour or dinner! My tequila based drink was pretty weak to be $15, so I was pretty bummed about that. I also ordered a lemon drop shot and that was much better. As for the food, the appetizers were good we had Mexican street corn flat bread and spicy jalapeño popcorn shrimp. My entree was decent but I wouldn't order it again. I was not a fan of the breading on the grouper.. it was almost like a frozen not fresh taste. Our waiter was very attentive and he even helped us with recommendations on what to eat. Overall our brunch was decent but the hype for this place is...dining by the water. There's free valet and a few different restaurants nearby also.

Alexandra T.

Yelp
What a lovely Valentines date we had at Guanabanas! If you're looking for a slice of tropical paradise with a Florida breeze, the most whimsical ambience and views, and great food, this is the spot! When we arrived there was a 30 minute wait for patio seating--no problem! We grabbed a drink at the bar (I had a habanero infused tequila and soda with lime and hubby had a killer tropical cocktail I cannot remember) and headed to the adirondacks on the water to relax and enjoy the view. We watched birds fly by and paddle boarders scoot along the water. When we were seated, our server, Kara, promptly greeted us with absolutely fantastic service. We started with the gulf steamers and they were outstanding. For our entrees, we had the tile fish and the smoke house burger. We both devoured our food! We ended our dinner with a coconut cream pie that didn't last more than two minutes on the table. As we dined, we enjoyed the loveliest breeze and watched the sun set. It was truly the most relaxing dinner we've had in months! We love Guanabanas and cannot wait to return!

Alecia B.

Yelp
What an amazing afternoon! The place is a piece of paradise! Wings and Mexican flat bread were delicious perfect for a cold beer, which I didn't even had it! Fun fact... I do not like Mexican food but we want to go because of the setting, and for my surprise food was excellent! Server was super polite! Just try it and have fun! You will love it!

Blake G.

Yelp
This place is very open air. The food was great but the live music and scenery pulled it all together. The staff all killed it, it took a little while to get a table but it was busy. I got their Cuban sandwich and thought it had a good consistency.

Heather G.

Yelp
Guanabanas is a staple in the area - servers are friendly and attentive, food is great and views are unmatched. There's always live music - you can't beat the vibe! All the food was great but the crispy chicken wrap was a standout - incredible!

Jackie W.

Yelp
Can't beat the happy hour here! Happy hour 4-6 with 20% off apps and half off certain drinks. The nachos are the best around, they really load them up. Quesadilla was pretty good as well. Pina colada was delicious!! It's so nice sitting on the water definitely feels like you're on vacation!

Kelly G.

Yelp
I absolutely love Guanabanas. It's a family tradition that we come here every year we visit. It's such a beautiful outdoor restaurant that's right on a canal so you can watch boats and kayakers go by. Their food menu has a wide variety that anyone can find something they like. They also have live music almost every night which is fun. Highly recommend Guanabanas if you're ever in the area.

are b.

Yelp
I am Los jimmy, and this was the absolute best food I had in my entire life. I felt like I was in the pirates of the Caribbean, it was a very beautiful view, and the ambience is of Los jimmy paradise. The service was very good and quick. It is Best food I have had in years. Los jimmy recommends you go here 100%

Irene E.

Yelp
Will return. The hosts said 35 minutes wait on a Saturday at 3:19pm. We're seated at 3:49, to the best table in the house, imho. Diners come by cars and boats. The strong wind makes 89 degrees day comfortable. Live music. The hosts and table server are all very good and professional. The restaurant is huge with many corners. As we're airing at the bar, a fellow diner said she's a bar owner and the bar tender she fired is working here now We've ~ steamers - good ~ tequila lime shrimps - yummy, all three ~ po boy catfish sandwich - tasteless, from the fish to chips, that feels old The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc by Chateau Souverain - part of Gallo group, is decent.  The low rating is from the hit and miss? The compound is nicely maintained. Free valet parking - tips only.

Peggy B.

Yelp
This place was always a go to for us with our out of town families. Tonight was a disappointment. It's been a while, but we were looking forward to the macadamia coconut crusted snapper. It disappointed us. Mine was brought as picture shows. Usually the breading was crusty with visible coconut flakes, but this breading was almost powered, lacking flavor of macadamia and coconut. The mango topping was bland. My brother ordered the meatloaf which he's had before, but ate only a portion saying it tasted over cooked. I am hoping this is only a Monday night fluke since we've enjoyed Guanabanas for years. Or has the food quality gone downs? The plate shown was $35.

Yelp
Guanabanas: A Tropical Delight by the Water Guanabanas, located in Jupiter, Florida, has become one of our absolute favorite restaurants, especially when it comes to enjoying a meal by the water. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this place not only offers stunning views but also serves some of the finest locally caught fish with utmost care and respect. During our recent visit, we indulged in a delightful culinary experience. We savored the triple tail, expertly prepared with a macadamia nut and coconut crust, which provided a delightful crunch. The black grouper, prepared in a lemon butter style, was a symphony of flavors that pleased our palates. The crispy popcorn shrimp, accompanied by a sweet and tangy sauce, was a true delight for seafood enthusiasts. To complement our meal, we also enjoyed a refreshing cocktail. Despite encountering a sudden downpour, the staff swiftly accommodated us under a cozy tiki hut, where we relished the unique experience of being surrounded by a beautiful thunderstorm. The fish served to us was undeniably fresh and skillfully prepared, exemplifying the restaurant's commitment to quality. Guanabanas not only offers a delectable dining experience but also provides an enchanting ambiance. Live music and the lush outdoor scenery create an atmosphere that is consistently well maintained and captivating. The hanging lanterns adorning the trees and comfortable Adirondack chairs add a touch of charm, making Guanabanas a true staple in Jupiter, Florida. Whether you are a visitor passing through or a local resident, Guanabanas has been a beloved establishment for a long time, and it is easy to understand why. From the friendly and efficient front-of-house staff to the skilled kitchen team, everything flows seamlessly. The restaurant's commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Our experience at Guanabanas left us longing for our next visit. We can't wait to return soon and immerse ourselves in the delightful flavors, soothing ambiance, and impeccable service that this tropical paradise has to offer.

Amanda W.

Yelp
Food was typical tiki bar variation. The crushes were the real star of the show here!!! Really cool beach bar vibes. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
So, I went there the other day with my son, who is my best person to try eateries with. I have been living here in Jupiter for many years and have been to Guanabanas on several occasions. Often, I just thought of it as a tourist place, mistakenly. We decided we wanted to lunch al fresco and thought give this a try. Firstly, the parking is a little of an issue. They do have complimentary valet parking, but son doesn't like to give his manual transmission car to just anyone, so we parked a block or so away in the public parking in front of Schooners (another really good place to eat). Walked to the restaurant with no difficulty other than my partially torn achilles tendon, took it slow. We checked in and had a little wait. We looked at the art they had for sale while we waited. We were seated in less than 10 minutes, maybe even 5. Had a lovely table next to the fence by the water. Our waitress was lovely. She gave us plenty of time to decide on what we wanted. We ordered the Florida Gulf steamers by the dozen clams appetizer. It did not disappoint. The only thing is there could have been a piece or two of bread to lap up the buttery garlic parsley side dipping sauce. I had the Crispy Po' Boy - Potato chip encrusted Florida catfish with tomato, pickles, pepperoncinis & remoulade. I asked to leave off the pepperoncinis. The sandwich was very nice, the remoulade did have a bit of a kick and I probably should have asked for it on the side as I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to spicy spice. However, that said, the combination of the fish, crust, tomato, pickle and toasted french type bread was delightful. I would definitely order this again. Son had the Fat Cuban Pressed Sandwich - Slow roasted Cuban pork, ham, swiss cheese, mustard and pickles. He said it was good, I did not taste it. Looked ok, pressed. Both came with house made chips. I thought they were a bit spicy and didn't eat them all, refer back to a few sentences above... son ate all his. Service was prompt, the atmosphere was lovely, restaurant was clean. No complaints here. I'd go back. Maybe bring some tourist relatives...

Yelp
Fun, casual outdoor restaurant on the water. My 3 years old had fun walking along the boat slip, which was a little exhausting for me. Waitress was very nice and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Pure Florida, outdoors in a tropical landscape, with paths and lush trees. Boaters can pull up, dock, and have lunch or dinner. The food was good, a bit heavy. Fish tacos were good. The nacho plate was jie-normous and eating more than half is life one of the those food challenges. Our waitress was very nice and treated us well.

Yelp
My first time in this places and my experience was ok. This place is very very but very busy. Service is not great and food takes time if you can survive this you are ok. The food tastes really good, very Caribbean flavors, I love it. I don't recommend it in summer because you will die. I recommend you to park in the free parking area before the restaurant it will be on the left side of the road.

Yelp
So beautiful here! First time trying gator bites and it did not disappoint! At first the tough chewy texture was difficult to bite through, but u learn that you gotta fight ur food around here ‍ I loved it, the sauce they had really helped! I came for happy hour which was 15% off apps and drinks. After your meal, you can sit along the dock and watch the sunset. Definitely take your date here!
