Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Tianhe

Generally, it’s a well-maintained old hotel which still needs refurbishments pretty soon. Nevertheless, its location and services rendered have surpassed my expectations. Hotel is close to malls with many popular eateries and the nearest mall is just steps away from the main entrance! Check-in was smooth and Ann, who assisted me was friendly and helpful. Being an Elite platinum member, she offered us breakfast promotion for additional pax at an irresistible price. While waiting for the room to be ready, she offered us to have afternoon tea at the club lounge. Vinz, who welcomed us at the club lounge was very professional and amiable too. She volunteered to monitor the room status for us and passed us the room cards when ready. She chatted with us and made us feel welcomed. Knowing that we are taking a late night flight on day of departure, she offered us to rest in lounge after checking out. This exemplary service is very much appreciated! ||Would also like to give another shout out to Nia Qin. Not only she could curate cocktails to your likings, she was also very helpful. On the day of departure, she helped my friend to arrange a didi as we needed additional car and send us off personally to the pick up area. ||It is apparent that the hotel staff are well-trained and perform their job with utmost pride. Kudos to the management and staff! Hope that the hotel is scheduled for refurbishment soon…

I had the pleasure of experiencing outstanding service from Mr. Stanley Chen, the concierge at this hotel, during my recent stay in Guangzhou. Not only did he go above and beyond to assist me with various inquiries, but his warm and personalized hospitality truly made my trip special. A particularly memorable moment was when Mr. Chen helped me locate a parcel and arranged for it to be sent to my family in China. Living overseas, I was unfamiliar with the local process, but he patiently guided me through every step. His dedication and professionalism really stood out, and I can confidently say he is an invaluable asset to this hotel. Thank you, Mr. Chen, for making my stay unforgettable. Your kindness and exceptional service are deeply appreciated!

Jonathan, the supervisor at the executive lounge is very ambitious, friendly, polite and professional. Everybody else in the lounge is very friendly too. Nice hotel, nice rooms. Top location, good price. ||Absolutely recommendable for business.

Had a short stay at this hotel with my parents during our trip in Guangdong. Its indoor pool indeed is the catching point when I searched through my hotel choice. And it ends up to be a very satisfactory experience when we tried it. My mom and dad just love the pool so much - size is reasonable and it's very clean, the lighting makes it look stylish too. Other than the indoor pool, I also like its location...just a few steps to a few shopping malls where you can find a variety of shops and numerous restaurants. That's so convenient for short stay visitors to the place.Room is spacious, just that the hotel has a bit of age so I think the design is a little old and outdated.Overall, our stay at the hotel is a very pleasant one.

My stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The room was clean, well-designed, and had a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The staff was welcoming and provided excellent customer service throughout my visit. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and public transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

Location was perfect. Beside grand view mall. 10 mins walk to nearest mrt. Hotel service was good. Room very spacious even after adding one rollaway bed. Will definitely book again if visit gz.

The hotel location is excellent, it's right back three famous shopping malls (Tianhe City, Tianhuan Parc Central and Grandview Mall) in Guangzhou. You have all the convenience to get and also not far to visit all the landmarks. AEON and Ole supermarket aren't that far. The best is right next door to shopping areas and also amusement from Grandview Mall. There are many selections of foods around and also Guangzhou Marriott Tianhe has one of the best breakfast buffets. I highly recommend they can speak English as well. Very clean and service is top notch. Ann Li is always courteous to keep our satisfaction. She has done a marvelous job. Thank you Guangzhou Marriott Tianhe.

Stayed 6 nights in a two double beds room. Location wise is OK. However, there are bed bugs that cause multiple bites on my legs. I doubled the cleanliness of the bed quilt. Also, there are multiple times where the cleaner did not replenish the shower gel and water in the room. The concierge at the ground floor is also being rude where he restricted to only 1 umbrella per room despite our requests and needs.
