Excellent location (next to a mall) with plenty of food options around. Room was big and comfortable. Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, in addition to the usual shower stuff) were provided. But the best was the staff at front desk especially Ms Miya Chen. She's friendly, always serve with a smile and try to be accommodative to my requests as much as it's possible. I hope the hotel mgmt can see how valuable she is as a staff. It's a pity I only stayed 1 night. Definitely my choice of hotel the next time I'm in Guangzhou

Great location for shopping and dining. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and offered nice views. The swimming pool was a great bonus, and early mornings it was completely empty.On the downside, the hotel sits in a very crowded area, and both the entrance and lobby often feel busy, giving off more of a budget resort vibe. Service was just average — for instance, we arrived more than two hours past the official check-in time after a long flight, yet our room still took another hour to be ready. No alternatives or compensation were offered, which was disappointing.

Generally, it’s a well-maintained old hotel which still needs refurbishments pretty soon. Nevertheless, its location and services rendered have surpassed my expectations. Hotel is close to malls with many popular eateries and the nearest mall is just steps away from the main entrance! Check-in was smooth and Ann, who assisted me was friendly and helpful. Being an Elite platinum member, she offered us breakfast promotion for additional pax at an irresistible price. While waiting for the room to be ready, she offered us to have afternoon tea at the club lounge. Vinz, who welcomed us at the club lounge was very professional and amiable too. She volunteered to monitor the room status for us and passed us the room cards when ready. She chatted with us and made us feel welcomed. Knowing that we are taking a late night flight on day of departure, she offered us to rest in lounge after checking out. This exemplary service is very much appreciated! ||Would also like to give another shout out to Nia Qin. Not only she could curate cocktails to your likings, she was also very helpful. On the day of departure, she helped my friend to arrange a didi as we needed additional car and send us off personally to the pick up area. ||It is apparent that the hotel staff are well-trained and perform their job with utmost pride. Kudos to the management and staff! Hope that the hotel is scheduled for refurbishment soon…

Stayed at Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Tianhe for a 4 day trip in Guanzhou with my family. The hotel was super comfortable and welcoming! Would definitely stay here again. Huge thank you to Miya Chen for helping me with my questions and concerns while staying here.

There are only 2 places you can stay in Guangzhou. Sheraton & Marriott . Sheraton slightly more convenient but if you don't like the crowd then Marriott is perfect ! Slightly further and away from smoking everywhere crowd & filthy polluted streets . Staff are well trained & friendly. A newer hotel compared to Sheraton. Lightings is Beautiful at night !

The property is old but well maintained. Staffs at front desk and concierge are nice and very helpful. ||At the executive lounge. The food and drink are ok. But the staffs need to pay attention more at the food station. I saw kids ran around and loud also one kid (3-4 year old ) picked up the fruit at the drink section and put it back couple times without the parents. ||At the breakfast was the worse part, lack of management. And again kids pick up the breads, cakes , and touched surfaces then put back because they wanted to change their mind. I’m glad I saw that. Just need to pay attention on the kids touching things and put back.

To be honest, after traveling around the world for the past few years- I have become disillusioned with hotel service. When I booked this hotel, I did not expect to receive good service. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel provided excellent service. The room service was excellent. There was a small issue, but the hotel quickly resolved it. The breakfast was normal one , with a rating of 4 out of 5*. The hotel had good soundproofing. The location was excellent. I was worry about the smell in the room, as I am allergic and have asthma. But there was absolutely no smell of cigarettes, mold, or anything else in the room. I'm delighted. Thank you for reminding me what good service is.

Very good experience with the swift check in and out. They allowed me to have a late 3pm checkout due to later flight timing. The gym is very well equipped and has quite a big indoor pool. Executive lounge is slightly disappointing with lesser food choices. Very attentive professional team overall and especially the concierge staffs who handle all packages. Shoutout to Edward Lin, thanks for the extra mile effort in making it sure things are alright!
