Massimo Bottura Opened an All-Day Restaurant at the Gucci Garden | Eater

"An interactive, fashion-house–themed museum inside the Palazzo della Mercanzia, officially opening to the public January 10. Conceived as a 'garden of the mind' populated by plants and animals (with the snake as a recurring symbol), it houses galleries of contemporary and vintage clothing, video installations, major artworks—including a giant 19th-century equestrian oil portrait—and a boutique, and it includes the chef's newly opened museum restaurant." - Monica Burton

This cute cafe has indoor and outdoor seating with creative cocktails and nice decor. It wasn’t bad but the service could improve a bit. They forgot my mom’s order and it was a bit difficult to flag someone to follow up. I would have thought they might have made an adjustment as we had to wait awhile and I had to find someone to ask where her order was. I’m not sure why but it felt like they were understaffed but it also seemed like I saw enough servers walking around between the outdoor dining area and inside. Other than that the drinks were great and it’s right next to the Gucci museum. I recommend trying it once for their drinks.

The food was good and service was ok. I didn’t like the interior because it’s not that cosy and comfortable. Also I think those small plates are not good because after I got my the food and didn’t know how to eat it and not to make mess on the table. But my dessert was very delicious.

Stopped in for a nightcap and was not disappointed! The eclectic cocktail menu offered some curious twists on the classic cocktails, and they were beautifully made. The patio in the plaza closes at 10pm but the bar was open until midnight. A great place to end your evening

Don’t order the tiramisu, it’s a trap 😂 it has little to no mascarpone, too much sugar, the ladyfingers feel like they’re soaked in water 🥲 the fresh orange juice is not from freshly squeezed, but we could brush that off. The staff is friendly and the design is pretty cool.

It’s a tiny cafe/bar next to Gucci flagship store. There’s plenty of nice looking cocktails and some appetizers to enjoy. In general the place looked not pristine or missing details like the one if the toilet flushes ( for No.1 and No.2) didn’t work, the cleaning lady was nice enough to install a toilet paper but the wrong way. We sat outside and somewhat felt things are dusty. I was expecting pretentiously fancy afternoon tea like experience, but it’s with a bit of Italian casualty. In terms of food, I had pasta with shrimp for small lunch with a mocktail that looks very pretty. My son had peach puree juice and a tasty chocolate cookie, altogether for 50 EUR. Happy I went there, done that. Don’t plan to go there again.

Atmosphere: 8/10 Located right on Piazza della Signoria, Gucci Giardino is owned and designed by Gucci—the iconic fashion house founded in Florence. The space reflects the brand’s aesthetic with peacock-blue seating, mirrored accents, floral touches, and elegant boiserie. Lighting at the bar can feel a bit too bright, but otherwise the vibe is chic and unmistakably Gucci. Seating is well set up with bar stools, tables, and even a patio option. Drinks: 9/10 Recommendation: Level 256 The menu is beautifully presented in true Gucci style—high quality, with full-page images and detailed descriptions of each cocktail. The selection is strong, with balanced flavors and creative ingredient use. Coasters are high quality, glassware above average, garnishes minimal but well matched, and overall presentation is stylish. Service: 8/10 Water is served on arrival. The team is friendly and professional, though attentiveness could be sharper at times. No reservation is required. Prices are above Florence average.

The place it tiny but cozy, the food is ok, and overpriced. Portion (pasta) is surprisingly very small, tiramisu was just not it and their espresso was below average for italy. All of that would have been better if at least the service was up to the standard. It was terrible, awful attitude by 2 of the 3 boys or whatever they call themselves these days.. so disrespectful. Even though the place was almost empty, only two tables were busy. Its not worth it.

Disappointingly mediocre. Nothing like other designer cafe/restaurants. The luxurious feeling was lacking as did the service provided (bonus for the attitude). The Tiramisu was ill prepared filled with “tiny bricks”. One star for each cappuccino and that’s it!
