It was an extremely disappointing experience.
First, chaotic arrangement. We arrived on time and were seated on the very end of table next to a sliding door, very far away from chef's operating area while they kept seats that were closer to people who turned out to be late for at least half an hour. One of our seats even had a huge piece of glass entirely blocking us from what was happening at the counter. This completely lost the point of being part of Omakase, especially in a restaurant listed on Michelin and Tablelog. It seemed they failed to balance the number of customers and their experiences. We were not informed about how poor the seats were upon reservation at all.
Second, food quality. Both of us have been Omakase lovers for long and we found dishes were just boring here, but even worse, we suffered severe food poisoning symptoms, especially diarrhea, on our way back immediately. It was such a nightmare as it was a birthday celebration and how much we had been looking forward to it. Again, for a listed restaurant this is just ridiculous.
Last, though the chef was passionate, and prepared us a cake, but there was no service from anyone else in the restaurant. Everything was just disappointing.
