You guys! This is delicious. I mean I can totally break my health craze to try everything on the menu. Great, friendly employees and the food is amazing! My Jamaica(hibiscus tea)was perfect! The salsas are the perfect amount of heat and flavor. One tiny suggestion the torta didn't have enough asada I mostly tasted the beans. Maybe add more beef. It was still delicious!

Fabulous food! The birria tacos are phenomenal. The meat is tender and flavorful. The tortillas are a great addition to the filling…doesn’t take anything away but adds to the overall flavor experience. The Strawberry upgrade was so Delicious! Not too sweet and very refreshing. The quesadilla was good however we liked the tacos the best. Nice outside area for a warm summer night to sit and listen to the music, relax, and enjoy some great food! Highly recommend this food truck! Definitely going back to try the Hot Chicken next. (And get more tacos!)

We had been wanting to try this place since they opened, finally went this evening and were so disappointed. Our quesa tacos had like 2 strings of cheese in them and the tacos were not "crispy". The consome wasn't even red and didn't add anything to the taste of the tacos, just made the tacos even softer. The meat was good and the Agua Fresca was good, that's the only thing I can say we enjoyed.

The food was good! I don’t even like burritos but that burrito was so good! My sister tasted my food and we went back the next day to get more food. Oh yea the drink was awesome too!

We are literally HOOKED on this place! I’ve been going almost every weekend! I get the Queso birria tacos, with a consommé, and either pineapple or cucumber ‘dressed’ agua fresca. My mouth is watering just talking about it now! They are one of the best Birria taco trucks I’ve had yet!!! The only thing I wish they had, was cilantro by itself. Their cilantro is mixed with chopped onions and I am not an onion person but I need cilantro in my tacos. Other than that great food/drinks and the staff is so friendly! More locations PLEASE!!! (And please PLAIN cilantro!! 🙏)

The food was SUPER delicious! The service was AMAZING as well. The kids were able to eat and play around for a bit. We even got free popsicles!! Shout out to Jose for making it a great experience. 👍

We’ve been waiting to come here since we moved to San Antonio, I saw it on tik tok & we finally went tonight! It excellent. Everything was hot and flavorful. The food was also filling and there were a perfect amount of choices. The drinks are fantastic and thirst quenching!!! I highly recommend, good for families or groups!! I wish I lived closer so I could take it to go and way here more often. I’ll be back soon!!

Amazing!!! Had the birria taco, queso taco, and the vampiro taco. Added beans to the vampiro at the restaurant's recommendation and wow. Loved how it was just a little drive up, with music blaring. Only 8 minutes from our house, we'll be back.

So these Queso tacos were amazing! I really wanted to try the birria with their consome but I tried at the taco fest and I limited myself to half of one thing from each menu... This little truck did NOT disappoint. Their line was pretty much longer and it took longer to get our food from here but it was well worth it! The taco was cheesy and delicious. Definitely made me w a to try more of their menu items. The staff working the truck were excellent. They were patient and willing to explain things to use about the menu. It was just super slow to get only one taco. I would def recommend checking this food truck out if you want something beyond your basic taco truck tacos! Venture out and try these and grab a cute sticker for the kids! What's not to love? I can't wait to also Try the aguas they didn't have any at the event but they look fire on here! When I go back and try those things I'll add new pictures and update this review :)

If you are looking for fantastic birria along with a refreshing fresca...you can't go wrong with anything here. I typically order the quesa Birria tacos, you have to get the consome for the tacos, and ANY of their frescas are good. My favorites have to be the Sandia, piña, and the strawberries and cream. I always suggest fully loading the fresca cause it comes out the best that way! The food is always fresh, the frescas are refreshing, and make sure to try their salsa. P.S. you can even ask for a punch car for your frescas. When you buy 10, you get your next drink free!!

Best tacos and the green salsa is fire! Always fast & efficient service.. not a long wait and very organized. There are picnic tables and string lights to hang out and eat there too.

Best tacos in the city! Authentic Mexican food. Not the Tex Mex everyone in this city raves about. Grand opening was not as busy as I expected which was perfect because I waited less than 5 minutes for my food.

I visited their brick and mortar location off Potranco this past weekend with my boyfriend after seeing a post on Instagram. From the Instagram reel, the food looked delicious and their aguas frescas looked refreshingly delightful. The store front location wasn't too far from me but it is further than the food truck. I've never visited their food truck as I'm new to San Antonio and haven't heard of this place until I came across the social media post. We pulled up and I was impressed by the size of their menu. Pretty big and a decent of options to choose from. They had a variety of quick dishes like quesadillas tacos and nachos where you can choose what kind of meat you can load it up with. I like tortas a lot so I got one with birria meat and a cup of console on the side to sip my torta in. I got the sandia aguasfresca and it was really sweet and had too much pulp. I waited for the ice to melt to water it down so it can feel like actual juice and make it less sweet tasting Than it was because it tasted like the watermelon flavored kool-aid blended with watermelon pieces. They have a fridge with self serve salsa bottles with salsa verde, chipotle, and habanero salsas to bring to your table for your liking. I'm a spice girl and have to have salsa with Almost any Mexican dish. I grabbed all three flavors to try. I got my torta and I took my first bite and.... it was average. Definitely nothing special going on. So I added the salsa and yea, it enhanced it so much. Then I went on to try the consommé and I didn't get much flavor from that. I tried the consommé by itself and it tasted watery and it was brown like gumbo. I like red consommé not brown and with the business having the word red in their name, it was definitely off putting. I finished the rest of my torta with the salsas and threw the consommé away. My boyfriend got the quesadilla and he liked it. He got the birria meat in his quesadillas. He also tried the salsas on his quesadillas and he said he really likes the flavor it added. The salsas were definitely the highlight and honestly saved our meals from being thrown in the trash. But I would not come back after spending $40 for just a quesadilla, a torta and two drinks for mid tasting food.

Finally got to try out this place and it did not disappoint! I haven't tried the food truck yet but I did get to try out their brick and mortar location and I was impressed. It was a packed house but everything ran smoothly. The staff was very helpful and made great recommendations. I got the birria tacos and my boyfriend got the al pastor, both were equally as delicious, and we washed them down with a strawberry aqua fresca. SOOOOOO good definitely recommend!

I love this place! The tacos are great! But the agua frescas preparadas are fire!!! Service is always great. I have only ever been to the food truck but I'd imagine the ambience is great at their new spot!

My wife brought me here due to a recommendation from friend. I had been craving birria tacos for a while. I picked up some quesa birria tacos here, and I must say they were delicious. Super crispy and savory even without the consomé. However the consomé elevated the flavor significantly. Only downside is I had to pay extra for the birria consomé, which makes no sense. Definitely recommend if driving by the area.

I am always on the hunt for good Birria tacos. This truck recently opened on FM1560 near the snack bar food truck. There are flags and signs to help find your way to the truck. I got there around 4:45 pm. They open at 5 pm and there was already a line. They opened at 4:50 and it did not take long to order and get our food. This taco truck has a really good system of who is working so that the flow of customers keeps steady. I ordered 4 birria tacos. We have the option to add all the fixings (onion, cilantro and chile) to it or on the side. Each Birria taco is $2. Consume is not included so you need to add that to the side for an additional $2. You are given a good portion of consume and with Birria meat in it. I also ordered 4 quesabirra tacos for $3 each. They have an array of agua Fresca and you can mix them too. If you want watermelon pineapple that is doable. I went for a pineapple agua with the chile and all the goodness that goes on it. Fruit is fresh and generous serving. The flavor of the tacos were very good. I enjoyed the salsas that come with it. The consume was perfect with these tacos. These tacos had a lot of meat in each taco there was always meat in each bite. Everything had great flavor. I did enjoy the outdoor area to sit and eat. I suggest you get there early because they do sell out each night. Like I said before they have a good system going so the wait isn't that long.

Don't be scared off by the line, it moves quickly and they are super organized. Now, if you get caught up in the California vs Texas for the best Mexican food, this place might be your answer. They have both influences and man it comes to together perfectly! Some go for the food and get the specialty drinks and some go drinks and pick up food. That's how good the drinks are! Seriously, get you a good one all fixed up when you go! This one is a very safe bet y'all! If you like birria, Tortas, quesadillas, street tacos, or burritos I can't imagine you not leaving happy! Absolutely great folks running the place, too!

The aguas frescas are the big gulp of Mexicano drinks on steroids! Tons of fresh fruit, chamoy a plenty (get the extra napkins), perfect amount of tajin and not overwhelmingly filled with too much ice! It's enough to share but you won't want to. The birria tacos are flavorful and well portioned. RIP to that animal (don't @ me PETA) because that animal must have lived his best life being so tasty! Can't wait to my next order!

Stopped by today for two aquas frescas and a Barria taco....to say this place is impressive is an understatement, THIS PLACE IS PHENOMENAL! The drinks are exactly what you need on these Texas hot summer days and do yourself a favor, get the drink TEXAS SIZED with a chamoy rim and fruit! The drinks make you feel like you are in a tropical paradise, they are so refreshing and delicious! The taco was flavorful and fresh, every bite was fantastic! Give this place a try, they are worth it!!!

This place is fantastic but definitely get there when they open. We pulled up exactly at 5 pm and had a few cars in front of us. Drinks were out to our car in about 5min and food in about 10-15 min By the time we left the parking lot was snaked all the way through with cars starting to back up on the street. The staff were wearing masks and doing a drive up for safety. I ordered 3 quesa tacos with a cup of consommé Good flavor but did need a bit more salt. The consommé was delicious and skimmed of excess grease. (I have had many a birria taco with grease topped consommé. 1 vampiros taco - was delicious a good crispy tortilla. Good meat and salsa. I do wish I ordered a side of salsa. A quesadilla for my son- this thing was PACKED with meat and cheese. And two agua Frescas These Agua Frescas!!! I purchased a pineapple and a horchata The pineapple was so fresh and juicy! The Chamoy and tajin rim was to die for although it was messy it was worth the mess. The horchata was a sweet and cinnamon home made horchata. Non of this powder drink mix I believe the $7 come with a rim of marzipan candy. I will definitely be returning to this food truck, and definitely recommend it to friends

I just had the most yumminess agua fresca... okay so I've never had one, but this is a magnificent 1st on the refreshing drink. Fresh sweet, not hot spicy, a little sour come together in a balanced fun way. I also had the birria tacos and vampiro. Yummmyyyy

This place is a hidden gem. Some of the best Horchata and Birria i've had in SA. everyone working there is super kind and the food is damn good. The consommé for the Birria was amazing and completed the meal as well as having some amazing salsas to top it off. Support your local food trucks!! These guys are killing it out here and deserve to be recognized for it.

It was a dark and stormy night ...just kidding! But it WAS dark so the outside seating area with their lights was a delightful inviting setting. You have to order while in your car - the line moves fast, then park and sit (they'll bring your food to you) or you can take it to go. We tried the birria, quesa taco, and vampiro. All are tasty alone, dipping them in the consomme makes them even tastier. I really liked the Mild red sauce, it was excellent. The watermelon drink was SO good and refreshing. I was skeptical of the cucumber drink but omgosh it was SO refreshing also -they add sugar so it not just water-I would totally recommend! We met some of the owners, Jennifer and Stacy- they're so sweet and made us feel at home thanks for an awesome dinner girls! We will be back

Delicious! This is our go to food truck on Fridays! The queso tacos w/consommé...muah, amazing!

I went here over the weekend as soon as it opened around 3pm on Saturday and we went at a perfect time before it got too busy. Every time I pass this food truck I've always wanted to come by and try but they are always packed. I decided to follow them on Instagram and then plan a day to come out.. we came by and there was one car in front of us. You drive up and they ask if you want it to go or for here.. we had errands so we asked for it to go. I loved the atmosphere they had good music on and tables set up. We ordered the torta and quesadilla as well as Aqua Fresca for the drinks. The person taking our order wore masks and it was easy to order plus we didn't wait too long for our food. I will definitely come back with family and friends.

Love this place. My introduction to birria tacos and consomé as recommended in the line by an employee. The food comes out quick and the flavor is outstanding.

I love this place because those tacos taste really good and I always love to make sure to get some consomé and a agua fresca de sandía or the cucumber agua fresca because those drinks are really good and i would say that the service is good but I have only been to the food truck one.

The food is sooo amazing. I was a little sad they ran out of the consome but the flavor of my food more than made up for it. The service was pretty fast for how packed they were when we went. Our drinks got to us quick and the food (that was ready separately) was out soon after. We got the birria tacos and the torta. I tried to make sure I had some leftover but it was too yummy

My first visit at this location in FM1560. The cucumber lime Agra Fresca is excellent. Also. The Birria bowl was very tasty and filling and the workers were very nice, respectful, and professional. A beautiful group with skills in the kitchen. Agua Fresca and the Birria Taco bowl is my new fav.

This place is not authentic Mexican birria tacos definitely Tex Mex style the agua fresca was AWFUL and I mean AWFUL I was literally drinking a cup of sugar. Nasty nasty drinks tacos were alright. Consomé de birria lacked flavor and the meat was very very dry. I won't be eating there again.

I really was hoping this place was going to be good. We ordered 3 tacos de birria, 2 burritos, quesadilla and a side a rice. I asked if I could have extra salsa and they told me no. You have to pay extra for the consomé. Never have had to pay for consomé. Your supposed to dip your tacos in consomé. Not sure why they charge you extra. Tortillas were stale and the meat was ok. Consomé had no flavor. Burritos were super greasy. Quesadilla was pretty good. But how can you mess up a quesadilla. Aguas were really good. That why they got 3 stars. If not I would have gave them 1 star. Maybe they had a bad day. If you decide to try this place just know you have to pay extra for the consomé and they will not give you extra salsa.

They only serve birria meat. The food was surprisingly very very good. Everything including the quesedialla, (which I'm normally not a fan of) was delicious and packed with a good amount of meat and some cheese! Tacos were good, good amount of meat and my favorite, the Mulita. Corn tortilla filled with birria meat, some onions and cilantro and topped with another corn tortilla quesedilla style but without the cheese, was filling and delicious. The birria meat was tender and flavorful, a nice balance of meat and birria flavor neither one over powering. Out least favorite was the burrito, it was filled with too much rice and beans. The cosumme was good but I preferred my food with out it. The salsas were not bad, just not my favorite but that was ok because the food was so flavorful, I didn't even mind not having salsa. The aguas were spectacular to look at and tasted just as yummy as they looked. I would go to this taco truck again and y'all should give it a try!

Best birria and aguas frescas in town! Tastes just like home. Everything on the menu is sold individually so you can get a little bit of everything. They have outdoor seating with music. Customer service is excellent and wait time is very short. 10/10 recommend trying!

This place is hella bomb !! The tacos and mulitas are so juicy and delicious !! The staff is fast and friendly too ! I'm from California so I'm happy to have a taste of California down the street from me. I've been recommending everyone I know to come here !

Went last night, we were their last customer and they treated us like we were their first! Such great customer service, the lady taking our order gave us great suggestions. The girls serving the aguas frescas let us sample them. Everyone was so happy and upbeat! The food was fantastic, the ambiance and the agua de horchata with the toppings agua de fresa omg such a cool spot for a Friday night!

So yummy and great drinks!! I would recommend! It's picnic table seating so if you come with tiny toddlers be prepared to eat with them in your lap or bring something for them to sit in.

I've been so excited to try birria tacos since they started trending. I ran into this place on @safoodie on Instagram and I am UNDERWHELMED. My "crunchy" birria tacos were so soggy, that they were falling apart. I didn't even want to dip them in the consommé. Aside from them being soggy, they had no flavor at all and there were no salt packets to help. My partner got the burrito and there was no fried cheese, as advertised and the flavor was also bland. I'm giving 2 stars because the cashier was friendly, the agua fresca was good & I'm full. Just not satisfied.

Delicious!! First time ever trying Birra Taco's and Consommé visiting my best friend here in San Antonio. So glad she brought me to try them. I'll ask to come back here every visit.

Excellent! The tacos are great. The meat is tender and flavorful, the tortillas are great. The consomé is also very good but the salsas are just awesome. They make it great. The red salsa has a sweetness to it and the green a nuttiness to it. Definitely recommend this place. Try the aguas frescas also.

Awesome place to stop for tacos. Awesome food, horchata was the best I've ever had, and the service was great as well. If it wasn't so far from home I'd go more often. Definitely would recommend trying.

My family and I were trying to find a birria place near by and this one had good reviews so we thought why not but this is NOT a authentic birria taco. The beans are literally just pinto beans. No flavor. I've tried many birria places and this place is one we won't be going back to. If you're cool with Americanized birria then this place is probably for you.

Woooo Baby this is some good eating. Food was very good staff is helpful and polite tacos are very delicious and aguas frescas are VERY enjoyable. Over all great food truck experience. Some outside seating and some shade.

This place is great! Nicely lit outdoor area with music. The food was super delicious too! There was a line the whole night but it goes by super fast! It was pretty busy on a Sunday night so we had to wait for people to leave for a table but it was fine since we waited for our food anyways (which wasn't a long time either). Will definitely be coming back for more!

I'm a foodie and don't care about paying extra for good food. Very, very good birria tacos, lots of lime and the watermelon aguas Fresca was ridiculous. I recommend the upgraded agua. Salsa was hot but not too hot. I would personally have a hotter salsa but I have some at home. Top notch food. Such a tremendous comfort food. Going back again to eat the vampiros.

I wanted so badly to give this place 5 stars but I just couldn't do it. The people who work there are great and very friendly. But the food leaves much to be desired. I will definitely come back for an agua fresca but that's about it. The birria tacos lack flavor and red sauce they put on it isnt very flavorful either. If you want consommé to go with your tacos you have to pay extra. I don't know if that's typical for other places that sell Birria tacos, but to me, if you're gonna sell the tacos the consommé should come with it. Literally everything is sold a la carte. The tacos are large and 3 tacos filled me up but no one in my party like them so I ended up throwing away the leftover tacos. My husband and daughter both got a quesadilla and they were also disappointed with the flavor. Needless to say we ended up throwing away a lot of food because no one wanted to eat it. I hope they are able to make more flavorful food so I can try again. But for now the cost does not warrant what you get.

This place was a great stumble upon. We were originally going to the snack bar but they share the same parking lot. They had barria tacos for 2$$ each. Which were great. Loved those. Then we got quesatacos for 3$$ each and those were my favorite. It's both the same meat but it has cheese. We also got what I think was called a watermelon Fresca. I think it was 5$$. The girlfriend loved it. They're good about making the food how you want and they were efficient. The food came out quick and hot. The only complaint we had was there wasn't much seating. So plan on waiting for a table or standing or eating in the car if it's busy. If it's not you're fine. They do drive through and walk ups so they're good about social distancing if you're worried about that

This use to be the spot but I guess after the covid epidemic they just got super cheap with their food and over price it. The birria is dry as hell, I guess they got stingy with sauce that goes with the birria and decided to save a buck by selling it separate. Drinks are also way over price. If you want to waste 40 dollars on 4 tacos and burrito and two drinks be my guess. I don't know who they pay to write these good reviews about them, but I'm just speaking facts.
