Guerneville Taco Truck

Best steak flour tacos (rolled and grilled!) I’ve ever had. And I’m picky about my Mexican food ($8 for 2 tacos). Husband had the grilled chicken and the regular chicken tacos - he was in heaven too! Perfect amount of flavor, salsa and meat. I would highly recommend trying this place before the other Mexican restaurants in the area - especially grabbing to go eat by the river. We will be back when we are in the area!

Delicious Mexican food and friend service. The taco salad comes in a very crispy edible bowl. We enjoyed our quesadillas and fries as well. Highly recommended but cash only.

Note: CASH ONLY. Pleasantly surprised by this random taco truck in the Safeway parking lot. Service was friendly and the food came out super quickly, not to mention freshly made and piping hot! Ordered the Carne Asada Dinner Plate (comes with rice, pinto beans, lettuce, salsa, and a few white corn tortillas) and the XL Carne Asada Burrito. Get the Large Burrito if you’re not as hungry! If you are, though, definitely get the XL. Overall a yummy lunch. Gracias!

A must stop if you’re in the area. We had tacos, nachos, and a quesadilla. All were excellent especially the tacos on flour tortillas. We all wanted to return for more a few hours later!

The best California burrito I ever ate. The flour tortilla was exquisite, it felt like it had layers and had just the right amount of elasticity. Definitely a lot better than the store bought burrito. As usual though, it was like $15, but portion was fair very large burrito.

Located in the Safeway parking lot in downtown Guerneville. This taco truck has been a staple there for many years. Some of the best Mexican food in Sonoma County. Quick, fresh, and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, and lots of food and drink choices. Great stop if you are headed to the beach also. Burritos and tacos are delicious! Highly recommend

I don’t think I was even here 15 minutes before my food was finished and let me say it was bomb! My boyfriend treated us to 12 carne Asada tacos, and 2 sides of rice.. let me just say it was well worth the money! I’ll definitely be coming back to this taco spot tomorrow before I head out of this small cute town.

I should’ve taken more photos, but the place is pretty cool. They have some pretty awesome fair style farmers market next door while you wait. The food itself was okay, but the portions were small. Be aware that it is cash only here

Best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time. I will be craving it regularly! Very friendly service. I was confused about cash only, they were nice and understanding and directed me to the ATM. I didn't think to get a picture, I ate too fast! The giant burrito was big enough to split with my husband.

So we lived in San Diego for a while and they just dominate on tacos and burritos, well except if you go across the border. Then we moved to San Francisco and we just haven't found that spot yet.......the Mexican food is just mehhhh. Who would have thought coming to Guerneville, CA, was where the bomb ass burritos are?!? So f*cking good. The California burrito was !! The flavor was spot on and that charred tortilla was the cherry on top. We're here for a couple of more days and will definitely be back. Funny thing is, we were eating at River Inn Grill for breakfast and we saw the food truck loading up. Not sure if they're the same owner. But breakfast was just as good. I've been missing chilaquiles with the green sauce and !!!!

This is a cash only establishment. Bring cash before visiting! I'd first start off with the only negative I had with this place, and it has nothing to do with the food. It was more with the cashier short changing me. I don't typically carry cash, so I borrowed $40 to pay for my meal of $23.50 (Al pastor quesadilla + carne asada plate). After returning to my lodge, I found that I was left with $6.50 instead of $16.50. It's partly my fault for not double checking as the transaction was fast paced. With that said, everything else was good. Food was delicious! Probably best in town! Meat was tender, and everything was well seasoned. It's better than many spots in the bay. I would come back to this spot when I visit Guerneville again! The only con was the transaction I had with the cashier, and that was the cause for my 1 star deduction. The food is 5 star! I recommend the food! And I understand people do tend to make mistakes, so double check the transaction was done properly. My lesson learned of the day.

The Go-to Mexican spot in Guerneville. As someone who's both lived in Guerneville and past Guerneville I've tried almost all the food spots in the area and this place dominates when it comes to Mexican food. The staff is incredibly friendly and likable as well as making food that's definitely worth stopping at. The food is delicious, the location is great with abundant parking (it's outside of Safeway which has a large parking lot) and the service is always quick and served with a smile accompanied by a great attitude. My go to is the Chorizo breakfast burrito regardless of time of day (You can't stop me from enjoying this at night). As a breakfast burrito connoisseur, this place is one of my favorites in Sonoma county and probably the best in West county. Reasonable prices and you can get an extra large burrito if you're feeling extra hungry. Even talking about their burritos makes me hungry and wish I was closer to this fantastic little food truck tucked away near the river in Guerneville. The energy of the staff is always great and the local scene of people who frequently attend is pretty cool. Can't wait to visit again next time I'm on my way to the ocean or far out enough to make it convenient and not 30 minutes out of the way. If you've been here you know how good it is. This is my 2700th review and to celebrate were having a fiesta in Guerneville eating Mexican The menu was interesting ..I got one flour taco with steak which was wrapped like a burrito and also the ceviche tostada which was fishy and raw with avocado ..all for $10 pretty good light snack Food truck in Guerneville CA

We were camping here and visiting from out of town and decided to ride scooters to this amazing taco truck. This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had in my life you can't go wrong.

Tacos were very average. Ordered here when we stopped by for vacation. Not worth the hype of the reviews.

Ordered a Super Carnitas Burrito, may have been the most bland tasting, grossest carnitas I've ever consumed. Halfway through the burrito pork fat was spilling out. Ruined my Friday evening to be honest. Been here dozens of times, typically solid place for their asada, service is good and area is chill. If you don't have any other place to go do not get carnitas here!

Ya kinda mid. Not very well seasoned. Need salt for sure. Got a large burrito and two tacos. Paid 11.50 and 10.50 for the burrito and tacos with beans and rice. Honestly wouldn't recommend definitely better food at the restaurants surrounding it.

As an LA native with so much authentic Mexican food around me, I was a little uncertain about Guerneville's taco truck; but wow! This place is so amazing. I got the number 3, which comes with two tacos, rice and beans. I got an asada taco and a chorizo taco. Both meats were so fresh and wonderfully seasoned. The rice and beans tasted extremely fresh and the rice so was fluffy. I do wish the salsa was a little spicier but that's just preference So happy Guerneville has some bomb Mexican food! can't wait to return to try their other items! Muchas gracias!

Just okay - nothing too bad nothing good to say. The food was very basic and decent enough. The prices aren't too bad but the portions are on the smaller side. Ceviche tostada was fresh and well flavored but could've enjoyed a bit more ceviche vs a flat thin layer. Carnitas taco kinda tasted crock pot carnitas.... Carne asada fries really tasted like the queso sauce and that's it. The fries themselves were pretty good. Service was friendly but I probably wouldn't return.

Sometimes you just need a giant burrito and chips with nacho cheese. And this place delivers.

It fits well for the community and convenient spot to park it with max exposure from the Main Street and aplenty parking. The meat was on the dry side. I'm assuming it's because it was a slow Monday and has been sitting. Regardless, it hits the spot when it comes to fulfilling the hunger!

Always a pleasure to visit this place when in town! Usually at least twice, but missed our second trip this past weekend due to them being closed for Super Bowl. A rarity! Their carne asada is fantastic in anything. The burritos are good sized and a large is just the right amount. They do have an XL option though too! Breakfast burritos are great, the kids love the tacos, and even the fries are great. Absolutely top tier and in a beautiful location! Please note it's cash only!

Lovely food truck in the corner of the Safeway parking lot. The service was tip-top and the foot was tasty. I especially liked the tortillas, which were fried on the grill before being wrapped around some tasty beans and meat filling. Would go again.

Saw that this place had great reviews so I was excited to try it! When we got there, there was already a small line (as expected). But it went by fast and we placed our order with ease. It is CASH ONLY but luckily there's a Safeway right there so easy enough to get some cash. We ordered the carne asada tacos and I was slightly disappointed. They tasted very dry and there wasn't a lot of flavor. The meat was cooked nicely however. It was chewy. Packed with lots of meat which I loved! Perhaps we just went on a bad day. I'll have to come back another time but as of right now I wasn't impressed.

Rápido, delicioso, y amicable. This was a fun visit! My crew pulled in around 1 pm for a late lunch and arrived to a short, but quick moving line. I was ordering enough food to feed an army, so I got a cheese fry plate, two burritos al pastor, and a pollo asado burrito. I ordered in Spanish and the 3 guys in the truck were even more friendly! The food was great and filling, a little greasy, but chock FULL of creamy avocado, salsa, rice, beans and meat! Definitely want to try the quesadilla next time!

The guys are nice. Prices are good and food consistent. There are benches where you can sit and eat but it's in a parking lot and next to a busy street. Great for takeout and there are so many beautiful places to enjoy your food

Finding this taco truck in the middle of Guerneville was a godsend. Maybe not among the best I've had, but the tacos they dish out are solidly delicious and probably the only authentic meal you will find in this little town. My family and I were spending a rainy night at the Autocamp nearby and were in need of some quick late night food. This taco truck located in the Safeway parking lot turned out to be a great option. A dozen tacos served up with quality meats and friendly service made the perfect complement to a night of drinks in our airstream. Cheers to dishing out some great cheap eats. Cash only!

This shit is so gas it will make a grown man cry. My daughter loves the tacos and California burrito.

Friendly people! We got the veggie nachos and a veggie burrito and both were solid. I'm from out of town, so I don't know, but it felt like a classic Guerneville experience. Picnic tables make it easy to enjoy the food and take your time. Two thumbs up.

Veggie nachos not good. Liquid cheese, gross. What was I thinking?! Chicken burrito great but it was all on one side. Chicken had great flavor though. I'll order tacos next time, hence the name... plenty of choices, friendly and nice service.

The dream Taco Truck of a Foodie. We have seen this iconic food truck every time we pass through Guerneville but never had the time to stop. But--we could see that It's a hot spot! Lines = good eats. Today-- we stopped and loved it!! The taco truck is all about the atmosphere that lends for a cool vibe. Staff: Walking up to order- we were warmly greeted by (all) the Brothers Rick, Andre, Jorge and Sebastian Vazquez. Such fabulous service! Menu: Everything in the menu looked outstanding!! We decided on the street steak tacos , a side of rice , and the vegetarian burrito . Delicioso!!! Quick service. We received our order within 10 minutes! Perk: So convenient-this magical taco truck is in the Safeway parking lot just west of downtown Guerneville and is simply Known as the Guerneville Taco Truck (Vasquez brothers). Its an obvious hot spot among locals and now a must stop destination for us! Note: arrive before the lunch rush. Cash only.

Yoooo get that bomb af breakfast burrito with the chorizo. I love a kick so I added grilled jalapeño and they did not skimp. Also make sure to get a side of salsa to perfectly compliment those flavorful rice, beans and tortilla.

I took a trip up to Guerneville for a week and on the second night, I ended up getting their California burrito. One of the best burritos I've ever had. During that week, I went back 2 more times (got a normal chicken burrito and the breakfast burrito) and considered going back a 4th time. Will be back when in the general area to get the California again.

They are cash only and I only had a $20. Defintiely enough for yourself but not enough for you and another person. Wish they weren't cash only, you can go to Safeway in the same parking lot and get cash there but, nah. The California fries are the best item there. Burrito too, got their tacos, they ran out of lengua, they were great! Got the ceviche tostada, that was defintiely loaded and great. Would come back with more cash next time. Great walk from our rental.

We came here on a Sunday around 7:15pm. There wasn't a line to order, but by the time we were done, a line of 5-10 people had formed. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes for our food. There were a couple picnic benches and we sat at one end while another group sat at the other end of a table. If I were to rank the meats: 1. Chorizo, 2. Al Pastor, 3. Lengua, 4. Carnitas * Chorizo taco on corn tortilla - 4.5 stars This was my favorite meat! Good crunch, tons of flavor. * Al Pastor taco on flour tortilla - 4 stars FYI they serve flour tacos folded up like a burrito! This was good but could have used more flavor. * Lengua taco on corn tortilla - 3.5 stars The lengua had great texture, but overall this was lacking flavor. * XL Carnitas California Burrito - 3.5 stars The crisp on the tortilla was great, but the meat was dry and lacked flavor.

Everything is delicious, consistent, and they have great customer service ! Their quesabirria tacos are so good and they have another new menu item of crunchy tacos with a spicy green salsa that are amazing

I LOVE THIS TACO TRUCK. I had the best burrito of my life today and I'll think about it for a long time. Salsa was great I pretty much drank it. Do come here you won't regret it.

My buddy recommend this truck, he said I wouldn't regret it. I was disappointed they didn't have any fish tacos, but they did have something called a Ceviche Tostada. That shit was knock back! I killed it in the parking lot, I didn't even get the chance to share with anyone. My daughter got a steak taco and her being such a picky was very satisfied with her tacos. We arrived pretty much as they opened so no wait at all. Friendly service and tasty food, I even came back the next day for the same Ceviche Tostada, it was that good! See you soon Guerneville I promise I'll be back!

The veggie burrito was prepared quickly; quality was OK but unmemorable. A decent place to stop by on a road trip.

Haha call us fat, but we walked out of a breakfast diner and saw this taco truck sitting outside on the street in front. We already knew what we were having for dinner. Heads up, this truck is CASH ONLY, but there is an ATM inside Safeway (the truck moved into the parking lot when we went). We went for their burrito's which were quite different from what I am normally used to. The regular burrito had guacamole in it for no extra charge (win!) and the tortilla was slightly crispy (yum). I got the Carne Asada which was like ground up beef, but surprisingly it worked. I did wish the salsa was spicier though and being a non-fan of peppers, make sure to ask for the Shishito peppers on the side - full of flavor!

Food was pretty good. We ordered a few different burritos for our family and everyone enjoyed them. Would definitely try other items on their menu if I was ever in the area again.

Location/Service So glad this gem was recommended to me. It's located in the Safeway parking lot, and they have a couple tables/benches in case you want to eat there which is what we did. The food is amazing but the service is what stood out to us! They're super kind, accommodating, and fast! Thankfully we got there early and beat the lunch rush. Food- We ordered the Veggie Burrito, Ceviche Tostada, Cheese Quesadilla, and 2 Veggie Tacos. All for $25. Everything was was delicious; we finished everything. Their tortillas are fresh, the guacamole is creamy, and the salsa on the quesadilla had the right amount of heat. Next time, we will definitely ask to get it on the side. I would 100 percent recommend this place. Also, it is cash only so make sure you have some on you.

It's just ok. I think they go for quantity over quality. The portion sizes of the Large Asada burrito and the XL Asada burrito were great, ill give them that. The flavor though was lacking and no where to be found. Once I unwrapped my XL burrito and saw the tortilla was cracked I had a feeling it was all down hill from there. Nothing had flavor, nothing stood out.

Closed at 8pm on a Saturday instead of the posted hours! Not worth the drive to try this out.

The food looked great, tasted great (we had chicken and pork flour tacos), service was amazingly fast (considering the long line on Memorial Day), and at three dollars per taco, a real bargain. We think the Brothers should be charging more for their excellent food. I look forward to returning soon and exploring the large menu! Five Stars.

As far as taco trucks, go this one is solid. Good food, great variety, great prices and fast. The carne asada tacos were good. Meat was cooked well and the salsa complimented the tacos. The tortillas were real good. Add some avocado if you are eating tacos. It's good karma. The carne asada tostada was also good. Piled high with meat, cheese and veggies. Very good. You know the food was good because there was a steady stream of locals waiting in line.

We stopped by for a quick bite one evening and came back the next. The food is great, especially the burritos! We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
