This was my first time at the restaurant, and I am a fan of the place now for sure. Stopped in here for a little lunch after a great round of golf at Eagle Trace. They young man serving us was very attentive and took great care of our needs. The food came out very quickly and hot. My Italian combo sandwich was extremely good and came with lots of fresh toppings. I will surely be back!

Incredible pizza, great servers and an overall wonderful experience! We held a welcome party for 50+ people the night before my son’s wedding… and Guido’s did an amazing job! Beer and wine was flowing, and everyone is still raving about the amazing pizza! Thank you for taking such good care of us on a busy Friday night!

Google
They deliver in Coral Springs and Parkland you call them directly! (you can save the money wasted on the Dash-Apps) I've been coming here since the late 2000's and they've never disappointed. Great NY style pizza (Jersey represent!) and the specialty slices are magic. 10/10 have been recommending these guys for years!!!

Google
I’m not sure what the problem is and it’s not only this place. You walk in and you explicitly explain you want a thin crust well done pizza and you get the complete opposite. So either the girls at take out counter or the pizza maker do not follow through for the customer

Google
I've been looking for the best pizza in Coral Springs since I moved here from Deerfield a few years back. Ive tried many pizza places i was not impressed with because I like a good sauce with less cheese. Well, that changed today. The grandma's style from Guidos is my absolute favorite and the best pizza ive had since I moved here. Pleeeeeaaaaassseeee don't ever change your sauce!!!! I am so picky with sauce and its the best sauce I've had in yeeeaaarrrss!! **chefs kiss** ps. They use basil in their sauce which is amazing 👏 🤩 They have a new customer!

First time visiting with a friend... Ordered the chicken mushroom panini.. Delicious.. the bread was so good and everything tasted fresh. Very welcoming staff.. meet the owner as well, very nice guy. No wait for a table and food came out promptly.. I recommend this place.

Google
No one said hello when my mother and I walked in. All of the male staff member's just stared at us like we were aliens. I am thankful for the sweet lady in the front. She said hello and asked how were we doing. The MALE staff member's need to do better. Awful service from them SPECIFICALLY! Also, to rest my case, they weren’t even busy. Take care.

Yelp
After 12 years of enjoying their food, we are moving away, I will miss the Chicken Vodka slices, the tomato pie and the other terrific things we have dined on there. But I usually stick to their speciality slices.

Yelp
It was raining cats and dogs all evening, and the family wasn't feeling like cooking anything tonight. After driving in circles for pizza spots, we ended up just grabbing pizza at Guidos in Coral Springs! Going inside, the place wasn't too packed, and we were seated rather quickly. For dinner, we ordered 1x large meatball parmesan pizza well done and thin crust. Going into my review, our experience at Guido's had the potential to be good, but it was just alright. To explain; when we got inside, we were seated fast, but we wound up waiting over 30+ minutes for our pizza. Maybe they were busy, but it seemed like an absurd amount of time for 1 pizza pie. The server did bring us garlic rolls to keep us content, which I appreciate, but this was also after waiting again nearly half an hour for our food. The garlic rolls themselves were dry and lacked any of the seasoned garlic oil or cheese. When our pizza finally came out, it was pretty decent. The sauce had been vibrant and not too acidic, cheesy, and tasty meatballs. Moreover, the pizza was more like a Stromboli after how thick it was, but it wasn't too bad. Overall, the food was ok, but the service tonight was subpar at best. My final verdict for Guido's for now is a 3/5.

Yelp
Guidos is an old school Italian pizzeria in Coral Springs that reminds me of the places I went to as a kid on Long Island NY. The grandma pizza is the best. Every dish I've ever had here is amazing. It is a must check it out if you're in NW Coral Springs.

Yelp
Located in the Brookside Square Shopping Center, this place is on the corner of Wiles and Coral Springs Drive. It's in the strip mall by Publix. Our lunch buddy group decided to go here. We ordered a large pie and it was Yummy! For $19. Split four ways, it was a great deal. The service was excellent. The pizza came out fast.

Oren B.

Yelp
The best Italian restaurant in Coral Springs, hands down! We ordered few dishes and appetizers and we were very impressed by the quality of the food and service! Amazing Pizza, amazing chicken dishes, highly recommend!!!

Yelp
We have been going here for years and the food has always been good. Today my wife and I had glass of a Chianti and Italian wedding soup. In the past the meatballs were cut, this time round and small..... looked as if store/canned???? But what really bothered me was when we asked for extra sauce to take home for our calzone that we did not finish they charged us for it!!! Really.... C'mon guys....

B W.

Yelp
I just had the BEST Italian combo sub (panini) I've ever had. They use bruschetta on the sandwich instead of tomato slices, which was fabulous. The bread is also so good, and the sandwich is not overly cooked on the panini press so it's still soft enough to bite. We've had their other subs, too (chicken parm, chicken & Portobello mushroom). All very good. Pizzas are delicious, as are the meatballs. We have friends that come all the way from south Miami just for their pizza (and to visit with us of course).

Yelp
The best grandmas pizza I've ever had. The best pizza I've ever had... Guido's never disappoints. I live in Weston and I am happy to drive 20 miles to Coral Springs for Guidos pizza. Try the grandmas pizza and you will never go anywhere else...

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick lunch and have to say the pizza was pretty delicious! Nice pizza dough, had a crunch, right amount of sauce. It was pretty good! Service was great! It wasn't too busy so it was super quick and the server was attentive and pizza came out pretty quick. We will definitely order more pizzas from here for family gatherings. Very spacious location too and nicely decorated.

Yelp
1) Did take out. Called ahead. They charged me more for EVERY item than listed on their web menu. Plus, a surcharge for using a debit card. Basically, it's thievery when their charged prices are higher than their web prices. And DON'T use their online ordering! Those prices are even HIGHER. I noticed this, so called in my order instead. 2) Customer service at pickup was the 3 Stooges. Only person there, 3 people behind the counter, and I had to WAIT to even get a hello. Then wait some more. 3) They screwed up the ziti or spaghetti choices on 2 of the three dinners I ordered. That's a pretty bad batting average. 4) Food VERY subpar. My Shrimp Parm was meh (shrimp just tasted lousy), and they only give you four. Which is okay, because it was lousy. 5) I've been going to Pizza Time for 30 years, and figured we would try something DIFFERENT for once. What a MISTAKE! You can tell the place is so inferior when you look how many people cook there. Guido's? Maybe 3 total. Pizza Time? I guess 8 to 10. It STUNK, and never again.

Yelp
Don't waste your money!!!! The worst horrible food. I used to order a couple years ago.The food was good. I ordered In the last two months two times it was the worst food I have ever had shame on you Andrew!!!!!

Bill B.

Yelp
First off generally good food. Take out is disorganized and the food suffers because of it. Tonight for example, they were busy , I arrived and tried to give my name a few times saying I was there for pickup. Kind of ignored, 20 plus minutes later they did call my name and brought my pizza which had been sitting about 20 minutes. But I had to wait for the salad. Went I asked if it was still hot ? The girl assured me it felt warm. Great , though I did want HOT PIZZA. Got the salad and left. The Antipasto salad varies with who ever makes it that night. It is usually good but never consistent. The pizza had to be warmed to be eaten. The ambiance is nothing to speak of.

Yelp
Honestly this place has gone down hill - pricing on menus aren't accurate, new manager is a clown, the older pizza man is just dirty watched him shove pasta in his mouth with his bare hands and start making a pizza while waiting to pick up food, learned that the counter staff does not receive the tips left by myself and other costumers. A lot has changed in the years that we've been coming here, new management sucks, tips are being stolen from employees and who knows how long that's been going on, and pricing isn't reflecting the quality of food being received

Yelp
We've been married to one pizza joint, but as they fell off, we've been venturing out to new pizzerias. I'm happy we tried Guido's. The food was great but the service was slow, my reason for taking one star away. The garlic rolls need some improvement. It maybe because I recently had garlic rolls from John The Baker and nothing can compare to them. The tossed salad was delicious! I loved the marinated tomatoes, which reminded me of bruschetta. The marinated tomatoes mixed well the house dressing and other toppings. The slice of meat lovers was delicious! It was a perfect combination of meats. The slice was bigger than we expected. The photo I posted is just 1/2 of the slice we were served. The pepperoni pizza was delicious! I didn't mind the larger than normal, slices of pepperoni on top of the pizza. The pepperoni had crispy burnt edges, which I loved! It was a great pizza! We also ordered mozzarella sticks and French fries. You can't beat the price! We had all this food plus a glass of wine and the bill was about $40.
google avatar

Rebeca A.

Yelp
My husband and I picked up lunch from here and it was pretty good! Mozzarella sticks weren't actual sticks haha. More like triangles on cheesy goey goodness. My husband had a steak and cheese sandwich was was amazing. I had 10 hot wings, which were good, but didn't blow me away. This is a good place if you want a quick bite or craving some goodies. I will def be back!

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch but didn't get to actually eat anything so let me tell you what happened. I walked in and looked at all of the different pies on display. They all looked good and smelled great. The counter guy tells, not asks, but tells me to sit down anywhere & a server would be right with me. He was a little rough around the edges for my liking and clearly not a "people person" so I found a clean table and sat down. Long story short, after ten long minutes of being ignored, I got up to walk out. Rude counter guy approaches me & asked me where I was going. I told him I was leaving because not one person came to take my order, give me a menu, nothing. He said he will send someone right over so I sat back down. Five minutes pass and I am looking around for the missing server and I noticed just how dirty/grimy everything was. The floor was sticky, a few dirty tables needed to be cleared/cleaned and everything looked dirty to me. Out of nowhere a man dressed like a cook or a janitor plopped a dirty/greasy menu on my table. He said to me and I quote: "what you drinkin?" This person was not a server and his clothes were filthy, not to mention he had disgustingly filthy rags/towels hanging out of his apron pockets. I was completely grossed out by his appearance. Why was the janitor attempting to serve me food? And if he was a kitchen worker, then just maybe he should stay in the kitchen and away from customers. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. It could be clean, I don't know. I only know that this person was far from clean. I knew I couldn't eat anything in this place no matter how hungry I was. I got up and walked out. Before I even got to the door, the rude counter guy asked me why I was leaving. I told him the restaurant was very dirty. His response was: "you think so?!?" His tone was malicious and he laughed. I wound up going to Lefty's, sat at the bar and enjoyed my lunch. Updated Lefty's review to follow soon. Guido's has been here for years & they do have good reviews. Maybe they had no server and the cleaning person tried waiting on me. I have no idea what happened. I do know I wasted twenty minutes of my busy day. This was my experience. You may have a much different experience and I hope you do. The pizza case had several pies that looked delicious, but after seeing just how dirty the place is, I won't be coming back to taste any of them.

Yelp
Tried this pizza for the first time recently and we loved it! Being from Chicago, we're not big fans of Florida pizza but this one is good! The sauce is a little bit sweet which I love and the dough is a little thicker than most pizza we've tried in Florida. They are generous with their cheese which isn't common for Florida pizza. We will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Guido's delivered a great meal for our game night! Food was delicious, on time, and a good price! I love supporting the local businesses in a town with so many chain restaurants!

Yelp
Hello, after reading the review posted last week, I decided to go into Guidos Restaurant and ask an employee myself. I have been a customer for years, ordering takeout and dining in. I usually order takeout at least twice a week. The wait staff, cashiers, and even cooks have always given me outstanding customer service. I usually tip in cash, but sometimes card if I don't have cash on me. I have never skipped tipping at all, including the cashiers and waiters. I was completely under the impression that when I sign the receipts, the cashiers get the tips. I was unsure if they split it or it's personal. Whatever it is, I assumed they got it, not the business owner. I asked multiple employees if they receive all tips left for them, just as the owner had replied to this review with. The direct answer was yes to the cash tips, but no to the credit card tips. I am very disappointed in this situation and even more disappointed over how it was responded to. Not only do I find this morally unacceptable, but I also find it incredibly wrong that the owner would reply to this review with a lie. I will no longer be giving my money to a business that is simply unworthy of it.

Allen B.

Yelp
Of the bat: if the hand of the almighty were to smite all unworthy pizza restaurants Guido's might be the only one left standing! Great crust, great toppings and nice sauce. Andrew our server was friendly and accommodating as well as a music aficionado. I seriously don't know what happened to all the other pizza restaurants nearby us? They own another pizza restaurant near us and We are hoping it has the same great product as we are of delivery range.

Yelp
If I could give Zero stars I would... 5 young ladies from Florida Atlantic University went to Guido's last nite, one being my daughter, and all 5 ladies were sick to their stomachs upon arriving back at campus... diarrhea and vomiting.... as bad as that sounds, when I called the restaurant the young women who answered the phone promptly had my call returned by Guido's cousin Sabastian.... when Guido called it was different story... I explained to him that the ladies were all sick and he took it upon his self to deny any wrong doing... so now, I must and will call the Health Department on this and report this unsanitary establishment.... all it would've taken was an agreement for a refund, but GUIDO thinks he's a tough guy....so now I gotta do what I gotta Good riddance Guido

Yelp
The Baked Clams are so delicious that I Inhaled them before taking a photo!!! Rapini sautéed with garlic and olive oil was cooked to perfection and the meatballs and sauce tastes like my Nonna's!! Compliments to the Chef!

Yelp
We've been trying to find a delicious pizza place locally. Margate/Coral springs. We tried them for the first time last night and we were very pleased. Pizza was fresh and delicious!!!!! The pizza dough was my fav part. Crispy, airy and rocked flavor! Our new go-to!

Yelp
Stopped for a quick lunch. Nice selection of pizzas, Stromboli, and pannis. Also good lunch specials. I liked their pizza.

Yelp
Pizza crust is pretty good, but the cheese pizza was a little dry maybe lacking a little sauce and cheese. It's like if they added a little bit more the pizza might rate a lot higher. I didn't stay but got two slices and soda to go. They didn't have any powdered garlic in any shakers that I could find. I didn't ask, just put some cheese on my pizza and left. The cashier was pleasant and she put my order together quickly.

Steven M.

Yelp
Okay, we had an order delivered. One large pizza, half with garlic, and an Eggplant Parmigiana Sub: The sandwich was decent, nothing special. The pizza was not good at all, the crust was severely thick, like chewing on a dry piece of dough, very little sauce, which made the pizza even more dry. Cheese was good, but not enough to make the pizza close to good! Saw a pizza review by the real Italian Mr. Gallo, on YouTube. He gave the pizza a 7.8 My review is by a real Brooklyn guy a 5.5 on its best day

Al C.

Yelp
I ordered 2 large (16") pizzas. One with 2 toppings and One with 1 toppings. Coupon online and menu at restaurant said 2 large pizzas for $26.00. I know it would be more with toppings, $50.21!!! REALLY? I asked how much a large pizza was and she said it was itemized on my receipt. Large pizza $19.00 each and $2.00 per topping. To top it off, it was an average pizza. My wife, daughter, and son didn't like it. between both pizzas, an equivalent of one whole pizza was thrown away.

Yelp
Wanna say I'm really un happy with this place, especially tonight the worst part is we had, so many good memories from the old man server we all had at this location on Wiles to the Cook Nick we all loved on Atlantic but after tonight I don't know I will come back ,and I will tell all my Coral Springs and Parkland friends to stay away, tonight I had to fight with night Manager about our order, first I always order the chicken Francise over past ,we'll that came wrong ,the my wife ordered the Stromboli, grilled onions ,spinach, and chicken, and they told us that would be a hour and half ,no big deal on our end ,so food shows up and chicken francise is not over pasta ,so we call they tell us OK another 1 hour and we will redeliver, and we had to fight for that ,manager wanted to just redeliver pasta ,but I had to fight for chicken and pasta to redeliver, and I wanted my dinner together,so we start eating everything else, and come to find out Stromboli is made wrong also, again we call store back and they tell us again ,one hour and found out our first reorder hasn't been reset

Yelp
My daughter and I came in after the March For Our Lives event in Parkland. After walking in the blazing sun we were thirsty and starving. Even though they were slammed with customers coming in from the event they still took great care of us. We were brought drinks right away which was wonderful. My daughter and I both decided on the two slices of pizza and a soda special. It was a little bit of a wait which we were warned about before we sat down and our server did a great job of updating us on how much longer it would be. When our pizza arrived it was worth the wait. We each got two huge delicious slices. The sauce was amazing. I really love the pizza here. The decor was really cute too. I stumbled in here on a whim just looking for a quick place to eat. The wonderful food and great customer service are going to bring me back.

Eliot M.

Yelp
Had a party, they supplied a great variety which also tasted good. Service was right on time with no long wait
google avatar

Yelp
No accountability ... ordered via Uber eats and only 1/2 my order was delivered. The Uber eats driver said he was told the order was complete. And the ladies at Guidos admitted that they made a mistake but said I should file a complaint with Uber, which is ridiculous. And now I had to go pick up the rest of my order after already paying Uber a delivery fee and service charge. Never again.

Yelp
Without a doubt, Guido's has the best pizza in Coral Springs. I've been going here for year's and would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys New York pizza. The sauce they use on their pizza really stands out and gives their pizza a lot of flavor. In general, they use top notch ingredients and always do an excellent job preparing their food. They also make really good subs as well. This is a great place for takeout orders during COVID.
google avatar

J M.

Yelp
Guidos is the closest to NY pizza I am going to get in south Florida ! Fantastic crust , nice chew. Their sauce is also very good, not real sweet like most pizza places. Right balance of seasoning. Authentic REAL mozzarella . We ordered the 20" pizza , it's HUUUUGE!!!! Leftovers for a few meals . YUM! Garlic rolls are also excellent, fresh garlic and olive oil drizzled over each garlic knot. Not greasy at all. Homemade quality ! Ok I would have given 5 stars but the SALT in the pizza .... wow !!! You need to cut back the salt to 1/2 the amount you guys use. It would be pure perfection if the salt was drastically reduced .
google avatar

Don Rocky E.

Yelp
Was just there tonight and we have been waiting for 20 minutes and not getting any service not even drinks. The waiter started to clean the table in front of us and we told him if we can get service first. He said yeah, but still continue cleaning the table. Unbelievable! We left! Horrible experience!

Yelp
They have two dining areas - one for a proper sit down, and one for if you're looking to be quick (primarily used during lunch time). They also have two entrances which can be confusing. I ordered a pizza for pick-up and when I dug into my pizza, I found a few pieces of sausage hidden under the cheese. I'm a very strict vegetarian, so this wasn't going to work for me. I called back and explained what I found, and if they could remake me the pizza. I was put on hold for 10 minutes before someone could answer my question!!! I was appalled! I've never had a restaurant contemplate if they should or should not remake the food because it wasn't to specification I asked for. I went back into the restaurant and returned the original pizza, and the attendant said "that is a piece of dough" and then ever-so-rudely handed a new pizza. I wasn't purposely trying to be a difficult customer - being a vegetarian you learn to have a very quick and keen eye for identifying non-vegetarian items. I felt like I was an inconvenience over a cheese pizza. Once I got my new pizza, I have to say it was mediocre for an Italian style. I expected their pizza to be a very thin Italian style pizza, however it was more of a hand-toss thickness. I personally thought the prices were too high for the size of pizza. With the combination of the food and service, I just don't see myself returning. PS: They charge for any condiments (crushed red peppers, parmesan, oregano) if you are doing pick-up. Never seen that before. Does anyone do that these days?
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
Ordered a deluxe pizza medium. Ample toppings and a very good pizza overall. The service was gine minus the hold time while placing my order over the phone. I had to hang up and c as all back again. I overheard another patron speaking to the waiter stating he didn't ask for mayo and over 4 times, he kept asking him if he'd like s new one. I could see the patron getting frustrated as he said it was fine. Five minutes later, the kitchen staff then yelled over that he was sorry asking him three times if he'd like a new one. Yikes!
google avatar

Yelp
THE BEST Authentic Italian restaurant bar none in South Florida. You can always count on Guidos for that homemade Grandma's in the kitchen cooked meal. Not to mention their pizzas. Loaded with toppings and cooked to perfection. When you go there say hello to our friend Carlos!
google avatar

Dennis L.

Yelp
Every time I have gone to Guido's I have enjoyed the food I've eaten. Last night I met a high school friend there and we both decided to have a regular Italian meal like we used to have so we both ordered veal parmesan. I'm surprised that dish is not mentioned in Billy Joel Scenes From an Italian Restaurant. The salad was delicious, so was balsamic vinaigrette and their chopped tomatoes on the salad were great. The garlic rolls were out of this world. And instead of getting pasta I ordered sauteed spinach for $2 more and it was so good I was only sorry I didn't get two bowls. Sometimes when you taste something that's been made perfectly it's like smack you in the face. I had a similar reaction to the veal because it was cooked just beautifully, the mozzarella cheese was tasty but I loved the sauce which was very tomatoey and not overburdened with too many spices, which sometimes I do and I make sauce. And I'm in the process of using less garlic and no oregano etc etc. So I really had a ball last night with the food it was just what I was craving. The staff was great, they had tables separated, utensils came in little bags but I did have one complaint and that is they need to put a filter on the water that goes into the soda machines. I hate fluoridated diet Coke. Bear in mind, it wasn't a horrible taste and there was nothing wrong with the fluoridation. When you're having a nice meal, with nice people that you like and there's a nice staff and the food is delicious, you'd rather have everything taste good.

R M.

Yelp
Food is very good but service is hit or miss. And unfortunately whenever we go to dine in early evenings there is one gentleman who stands around for hours and basically yells his opinion about everything. I have no idea if he is a customer just hanging around for extended periods or a worker but regardless it is very annoying when dining in so we stopped going.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Just ordered two panini sandwiches. This on 04/01/2023. Super disappointed. It was like they took sub rolls and smashed them down in a panini maker. Don't know why the change but it sucks. Not a true panini. They used to be good. Not ordering again.

Yelp
One of the best pizza in Coral springs.and the staff is great......I always go for the special slices my favs are the chicken parm and.meat lover..I have never been disappointed with there pizza

Yelp
My Favorite chicken parm of all Places. Balsamic chicken is also great! Take out or eat in, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Waited 1 hour 45 min for delivery. The driver never called and the manager blamed the driver. The place is not being run properly and the idiots have the audacity to charge me fo the food. I am calling my CC company and stop the charge. Do not order from this place. You will not get your food and be given bogus reasons why it didn't come and they will gladly charge your CC but good luck getting it back. Andrew, didn't offer that good for free until I called back 3 times and the driver never came. Maybe out there smoking some herbs. Stay clear of Guidos
google avatar

Emily M.

Yelp
Food was good and came when it was supposed to even though we did have to wait a while when it was delivered only thing was the garlic rolls, they came literally came burnt to a crisp so that was annoying considering how long we waited.

Chris G.

Yelp
Guidos pizzeria on Wiles and Coral Springs Drive My husband ordered the pizza and I went in to pick it up. The cook called out to the female cashier who was doing something else, that she had a customer. She answered him back in a curt tone, "Whoever it is will have to wait!" It wasn't busy and I wasn't in a rush so I had no problem waiting. I didn't say a word. When she came out, she asked if I was an Uber driver getting a pepperoni pizza and I said no. She asked what I ordered and I told her pepperoni pizza and garlic rolls. She responded sharply to me, and said "Why did you just tell me no?" I told her because I'm not an Uber driver. A couple months ago two male employees were in a heated curse filled argument but I chalked it up to a bad day. I won't be back after this incident. Since we work hard for our money, especially in these times, I will be taking my business to establishments where customers are valued.

Amanda F.

Yelp
What a nice evening at Guidos. Great attentive waiter who offered recommendations. The chicken franchise was delicious and my husbands spaghetti and meatballs was too. Dinners come with garlic rolls, soup or salad... and all very reasonably priced.

A low key pizzeria, outgoing area on the left, dining room area on the right. Amply seating. Waiter was prompt and cordial. Dinners cake with a soup or salad. The Broccoli garlic pasta was a very nice portion, took the rest home. My companion enjoyed his Zuppa di Pesce. Garlic rolls were just as yummy. Dinner for two was under $55.00. That's a good thing considering the substantial potions.

Yelp
A very traditional, family style and well staffed classic Italian restaurant. The pizza slices are big with a thick dough and tomato sauce. A large could definitely feed a family of 4 or 2 very hungry kids. Bread roles are garlicy enough to kill vampires and the soda cups are in classic large Coke cups. A the price is based on the quality of the ingredients, so about 20 bucks for a large pie. I recommend this place if you wanna sit down at a restaurant.

Yelp
Friends took us here for dinner on Saturday night. Guido's is a typical South Florida Italian restaurant/pizzeria, a counter for take-out and table service in a small dining room. Our server was attentive, and explained all the specials very well. My wife had the shrimp and crab ravioli special. She commented that it would probably be just three small pieces. Well she was wrong, it was a huge portion, and even had two big shrimps on top, with a yummy vodka sauce. I had their Sunday Sauce special (I think that is what it was called). OMG, rigatoni covered by tons of what my New York Italian friends would call gravy, with a huge piece of meat and a whole sausage in it, with a scoop of ricotta topping everything. As that old commercial said, I can't believe I ate the whole thing. But I had to, it was that good!
