"Maryland’s Guinness Open Gate Brewery celebrates Oktoberfest over three back-to-back weekends starting Saturday, September 23. Look for five limited-time Oktoberfest beers, live music under a Munich beer tent, stein-holding contests, German food specials, VIP tasting experiences, and limited-edition merch. Pro tip: Leave the car at home and consider taking the Marc train from Union Station to its Baltimore County stop in Halethorpe." - Tierney Plumb

Seafood tower was disappointing 3/10. Oysters were good and the Shepard pie fries. The hummus tray was okay 4/10. Had to wave down our sever a few times. Might as well say self service other than dropping our food off. The bartenders were great.

Great experience outside having some nice beer (not just Guinness Stout) in a lovely outdoor space. The beers were excellent, the servers are excellent and the limited food available outside was excellent. You order using your phone (it's via toast) for your table and it appears! Much of the outdoor space is dog friendly (if it's concrete, it's fine). They don't want your pets on the green turf, the plants, the furniture or inside. I think it's great. If your pet has to do his or her business, then they would like you to take them back out towards the parking lot.

Google
This is a great place and experience for beer drinkers. They have a big selection of various brews to try. They will give you a sample of whatever you want to try. We did not have any food. They had a band playing there out on the deck Friday night. There was plenty of seating, especially outdoors. There was plenty of parking spaces available also.

Google
The tour was really cool and our tour guide, PAT, did a great job! We sampled a lot of the beer and it was all delicious. On another note, we've been to a few other breweries where the food seemed like an afterthought... Not this place. The food is top notch!! Highly recommended.

Google
Went for team building meeting with a group of 14 for lunch. Beer options fresh and outstanding quality. Food was easy to order via QR code and phone. Food delivered fresh and in a reasonable amount of time. Brewery tour, while very interesting and well presented by our tour guide, a little long and detailed for the layperson. Would return if in the area.

We went here for lunch after a memorial service on a Saturday around noon. We were a rather large party of 9, our group didn’t wait for my husband and I, so we walked in about five minutes after the rear of the group. When asked about the check, the server seemed a little annoyed that I blurted out “separate”. We got skipped for a drink order, so we had to wait and ordered our food and drinks at the same time. It was great they gave you samples of any of the beers you want to try. The scotch egg was a little overcooked, it was not a soft boiled egg. It was more the consistency of a hard boiled egg that has a soft yolk. My yogurt was amazing. It said for the table so I thought I was getting a larger portion but it was delicious. I think I was the only person at the table that especially enjoyed my food. As we were about to leave I called the waitress over and she turned to her coworker and said something and threw her hands up in frustration. I had no idea that when she took my card and scanned it that it would automatically check me out right after we were done eating. I also had no idea that they automatically add 20% gratuity to your card. When she came over we “checked out” meaning she showed me the amount my card was charged on the screen of the handheld device she used to put our orders in. I told her we were unaware and I’d have given more had I been given the option. This is a great place for beer drinkers. Especially if you like IPA and stout. The atmosphere is great, the building itself is really intriguing. I missed out on the gift shop.

Google
I love that you can just order your food on your phone and have it delivered to your table. The Guinness pours are great. Bangers and mash were fantastic. They have an awesome pot pie and Guinness beef stew. This is a great place to hang out and especially great in warmer weather.

Google
Did you know that the quality of Baltimore's tap water was the reason Guinness chose to establish a brewery in this region? Even if you don't like beer (I do!) you might enjoy the guided tour detailing the history of this beverage. It includes free samples of several of their many brews!!!

Yelp
Our first time here we signed up for a brewery tour and tasting. The tour lasted a little over 30 minutes where we learned a bit about the history of Guinness, why they chose this location, and the brewing/fermentation process. There was a quick tasting afterwards which we tried classic and experimental brews. Afterwards we explored the taproom, gift shop, and outdoor area. Nothing quite beats a Guinness Stout on tap, plus this brewery has plenty of local and experimental brews! Never tried other Guinness beers until we came to the brewery and now the Baltimore Blonde is my second favorite Guinness. The Guinness Stout cake is hands down one of the best cakes I have ever had, definitely recommend trying it! They serve all the classic brewery fare but some have a nice twist to them such as old bay flavored or Guinness Stout infused. Gift shop prices are a bit high for some things but they also sell plenty of beer in the fridge. There is also a large outdoor area with plenty of seating and sometimes they have the food truck open and live events happening. It is also conveniently located right outside of Baltimore and I always try to stop by when going to/from BWI airport.

Yelp
This brewery is huge! You can't miss them with their gigantic sign on the building. I came here for the first time for trivia with a friend. It was a busy busy Wednesday night. We sat at the bar and I sampled a couple beers to figure out which one I liked. I ended up choosing the Peach & Plum Ale which had a very mild peach flavor and wasn't too bitter for me. Trivia host did a great job and we had a good time playing and just hanging out. Lots of space indoors and outdoors. The service is mediocre here but the vibes are fun. A cool spot for hangouts and of course, trivia!

Yelp
Yes, I have had Guinness plenty of times. I have had it on the tap, in bottles and even cooked into desserts like cupcakes for example. Each experience has brought different degrees of satisfaction but on an overall scale they were pleasant ones. I felt it was time to reaquaint myself with a couple of their stouts again before generating a review for and I am certainly glad that I did. I tried the usual stout that you normally see, the Guinness Draught. This stout has that good coffee flavor and creaminess. I was surprised and reminded how light bodied it was which I liked as well as it's dark color and smoothness. I also tried the Guinness Original Extra Stout which has the same body, smoothness and flavors as the Draught other than there is a nice dry feature to it. In a way I almost like this one more simply because of that added feature and bringing in an added complexity that is well handled which is definitely something I can appreciate.

Yelp
What a great place to stop when leaving/going to BWI! We stopped in on a Saturday before a flight for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. We sat inside since it was in the 30s and too cold for outside seating but had no issue getting a table. We started with oysters that were fresh, cold, and delicious. I ordered the crab cake sandwich which was yummy. The fries were so good with the house made ketchup! My husband and I split the wedge salad to start. Love the uniqueness with the scotch egg. Service was also great and liked that we could order with the server or on the app. Can't wait to return!

Keziah M.

Yelp
The vibe, the food, the drinks, the service, everything was above anything I ever expected. Let me start by saying that I am in no way a Guinness lover but visiting here might have just turned me a little bit. We sat at the bar and service was top notch. I didn't get our server's name but she went above and beyond giving us tastings of the beer to get something that tasted our palette the best. I had a salt and lime beer with a touch of guava puree and it was pure bliss. Their Guinness from the tap was also so smooth and you can really taste the coffee and chocolate notes on it - very unlike what you get at a regular bar. The food was delicious and fresh. We got a basket of parm fries and also their bratwurst and both were delicious. I rave about their bread. It was to die for. We also did a little tour after our drinks and meal. It was really interesting knowing some of the history and also the way they brew their beers. The whole brewery was spacious and lots of seats indoors and out. I would love to go back during a weekend or during one of their events!

Randy S.

Yelp
Had a big office group outing here. Have come here many times in the past and always had a pleasant experience until now. Food is great except for the pretzel which was a dry, tasteless and a waste of money. But the sandwiches were great, everyone enjoyed them. The beer is what they are known for, and they were great. The atmosphere is also great, always a good time with friends and co-workers. However I am going to Ding them hard this time due to their app. You have to scan a QR code to order food, good enough, but there was 2 cards in the table tent and the one I thought I was scanning for food was some kind of scam. That's right a SCAM! It redirected somewhere, said I signed up for something, which I didn't want, but "assured me that I wouldn't be charged". I felt uneasy about it, then sure enough today I see suspicious activity on my card that was halted by the credit card company. Had to cancel my card and have a new one re-issued. Shame on you Guinness brewery! The scam is called "Order and pay, powered by Toast. Here is the link: "https://order.toasttab.com/order-and-pay/guiness/264/rejoin?pg=3db66fc7-c416-41f2-9ee3-7b13ec672847&pmg=a4535af4-d849-4511-81fc-241ff4d3c557&mat=f7a44951-382f-4028-aa33-b50c28f1582f&e=1734751501"

Yelp
We decided to take another 7 hour drive to visit Baltimore, and especially Open Gate Brewery. This place is more fun in the summer time, even though we did appreciate it when it was cooler a few months ago. They are a wide array of new beers from what was available a month or so ago, and they were all good. We also tried some more food, which was all very good. The staff is really friendly and attentive too. Overall, this is probably one of my top favorite places in Baltimore. I wish them nothing but success. Also, I really wish their beer was available in other parts of the country. Everyone thinks of Guinness as this bitter stout beer, when Open Gate has done a phenomenal job of creating a variety of beer for every type of palette. One criticism: It is ridiculous how many children are playing in the beer garden, many that arent with adults. This isn't a park, and if kids are present, I shouldnt have to duck frisbees, soccer balls, and from them running into us. There were scores of kids in sports jerseys who probably came here after games, but there were no adults with them. We experienced this on two separate days. Also, why are they checking our IDs if a significant portion of attendees are underaged?

Whitney D.

Yelp
This is a must see place when in Ireland. It is a huge brewery, staff was very nice I remember. I was here years ago. We got to taste fresh Guinness and had a tour. Also, we got a pint of very fresh Guinness after our tour. I loved this brewery very much and was excited to go. Ambiance was of course great!

Claudia C.

Yelp
We went here for the 2024 Arts and Drafts festival they had on their grounds over the weekend. The grounds are well maintained and perfect for this function. All the vendors had booths all around the periphery with lots of items from pottery, jewelry, paintings, and lots more. It was truly an art wonderland. Inside the brewery, there were sampling rooms, a huge 4-sided bar, and a restaurant for those who wanted to have something to eat. From what we saw, the food looked really good and to quench your thirst, 18 kinds of beer on tap! It was very busy there. It was a perfect day for this event, and it drew in the crowds. Most of the event goers ended up inside. For the children, they had a room set up to color refrigerator magnets and a yarn craft. This brought out memories of summer camp days. To top it off, they had a jazz band playing on the balcony, nice touch for all to sit back and enjoy.

Yelp
My friends and I recently visited the Guinness Brewery for the Guided Tour & Tasting - Brewing Focus, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The tour, priced at $19 per person, offered an in-depth look into the brewing process, guided by Pat, who was entertaining and clearly had a passion for the craft! During the tasting, we sampled four distinct beers: Blonde, Western IPA, Japanese Rice Lager, and the Classic Guinness. Each beer had its own unique flavor profile, and it was fascinating to learn how sipping one beer such as the Western could make the Blonde taste much sweeter! The Classic Guinness, of course, was a standout with its rich, smooth taste, but the Japanese Rice Lager was a delightful new favorite. After the tour, we decided to grab a meal at the brewery's restaurant. I ordered the Dubliner French Dip, and it was absolutely delicious! The sandwich was perfectly cooked, with tender beef and flavorful cheese, complemented by a rich dipping sauce. It was a satisfying end to a wonderful visit. Overall, this experience was one with great beer, food, a vibrant ambiance, and a knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend checking out Guinness and I look forward to returning in the future!

Arrt T.

Yelp
Signed up for the Brewery Tour and had lunch at the restaurant. Highly recommend this place! The Brewery Experts were beyond informative in their craft and anyone with a passing interest in beer will enjoy their time. Food was great as well! Everything came out great. The pretzels had great texture, sausages were flavorful, and ofc the beer. A must-go if you're in the area

Erin C.

Yelp
We tried this place out on a small whim. It ended up being amazing. The atmosphere is really good and they place is super cute with small touches of Guinness featured throughout. We came early and they were serving brunch. We got the pretzel and it was so good!! Our service was okay, not too many complaints except we didn't get water refills. They have nice outdoor seating as well. I would definitely go back!

Maureen B.

Yelp
A solid four stars! We went to the tap house for dinner and then took a history tour and tasting. Beer of course was excellent. We tried some of the experimental drafts they had. Food was okay - sandwiches were hot chicken, French dip and crab cake. I thought the crab cake needed more flavor. The brown bread and charcuterie was fine- but the meat on the charcuterie board was not good. Our history tour guide was excellent and the tasting at the end was generous.

Arielle H.

Yelp
What an amazing place. I was happy that my friend invited me here even though I typically do not drink beer. The food was amazing. The old Bay wings were cooked to perfection and the oysters were very fresh. I also love the cute charcuterie board that was accompanied by a very large pretzel. our tour guide was very informative and even let us smell fresh hops. I typically do not drink beer, I did try a few, and I can say the mango IPA, the Blondie, and the beer Mosa are pretty good. I also just like the aesthetics. It is a renovated factory, but they have kept much of the original uniqueness.

Ravon H.

Yelp
Haven't been here for a minute but I just happened to be in the neighborhood and was hungry so stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Looks like they improved the outdoor seating area. It was packed with people so appears they are doing well. Lots of kids outside playing and having a good time. Definitely looks like a family friendly environment. I was able to get a seat in the bar area. They have QR codes for you to order your drinks and meal. You can choose to open a tab or pay as you order. I had the bangers and mash. The sausage wea good and the mashed potatoes were delicious as well. They were covered in a tasty brown gravy. I also had a beer flight with 4 of their experimental brews. I didn't like that you can o Lt get the pre selected beers and can't order the flight of what ever you want. Over all a good time though.

Sama C.

Yelp
The only Guinness Brewery outside of Ireland... I'm in there like swimwear! Located in Baltimore, this attraction is worth the visit. Come thirsty, come hungry, and come looking for fun... you will not regret this. Offering everything from a wide variety of Guinness, to tasty food items, to a novelty shop... oh yeah, I almost forgot about their in house tours. This is a must see when visiting Baltimore. It makes for great times with indoor and outdoor seating. I bet the summertime is where it's at here. FYI: --When you buy something from their shop you get a free novelty item. --Plenty of parking as they have their own grounds.

Yelp
Stout de Suite Opened in 2017, at the time of our visit, this *was* the only Guinness Brewery in the US, but they've recently opened another location in Chicago since. This gigantic compound serves as a legit brewery, tap room, restaurant, and even as an event space. The bigger issue that I can't figure is we've been traveling to PA via MD for years, and somehow, this place has eluded us--which is kinda crazy because we're both huge fans of Guinness. The Good: *Huge parking lot, so that shouldn't be an issue. *Private event space available to rent *Order and pay thru the website, and they bring the food out to you. *Lots of great experimental beers that can only be had here and may only be available for a limited time. If they happen to have any barrel-aged beers, then definitely give that a try--those are a real treat! *Service was friendly and fast *Tour was fun and informative, and you get a nice tasting at the end. *Huge dog-friendly outdoor space *Great gift shop full of Guinness swag *On our two visits, we sampled quite a bit of their menu, and I gotta be honest, all the dishes were very good to outstanding. The highlights being the Heritage Burger was cooked perfectly and had great flavor; Guinness Beef Stew was excellent and the concomitant brown bread was delicious; Old Bay Wings were crispy and delicious; and both desserts were very rich and chocolatey. Also, make sure you get their barrel-cut fries as they were truly outstanding crispy fries. The Meh: *Two different menus depending on if you're sitting inside or outside. It's not that I care, but it can cause some confusion factor if you like to study up before arriving. *They ID you before entering the compound, but both times, the security people could care less and had that Baltimore charm we're so used to. The Ugly: *When ordering beers/drinks, it requires you to enter your birthday which is fine--but the fucking thing makes you scroll endlessly to get to your year and month. When you're an old fart like myself, it was a waste of five minutes of my life I'm never getting back. TLDR: I officially call this our new "go-to" restaurant whenever we land at BWI from now on. If you're a fan of beer and classic delicious pub fare, then you need to swing-by.

Nikola T.

Yelp
Not just amazing in house brewed beer but also the most amazing burgers and crab sandwiches. The best indoor and outdoor atmosphere with live music and events.

Vy T.

Yelp
Would recommend! The facility itself is quite large, both indoor and outdoor. There's a fun energy around the place, with background music and tons of beers to choose from. The outdoor seating is relaxed with umbrellas covering the picnic tables, useful on a slightly drizzly day or a sunny one. We ordered a flight and a couple drinks at the bar and the bartender was very helpful. Good selection of ales. The only downside is that we were celebrating with a friend from out of town and outside cupcakes/food items are not allowed.

Sarah G.

Yelp
This place was super cute. I thought it would be very crowded, but it was super fast service. And plenty of space. I almost ordered the brown bread, but we got a dish with it on the side, which worked out! The bread wasn't warmed and the butter was super cold so it just crumbled the bread. Would not pay 10 bucks for that! But the other food (pretzel and bangers & mash) were delish!

Karen F.

Yelp
Super friendly. Amazing service. Excellent staff. Great variety of Guiness products, expertly poured. Come for drinks and go easy on the over-priced "pub grub". The gift shop is amazing if you have a Guiness lover in your circle.

Rick C.

Yelp
Great beers, the outdoor patio is great in the warmer months! The Guinness Draught is still made in Dublin, as it should be!

Marcelino M.

Yelp
If you're into awesome hangout spots, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore, Maryland totally nails it! It feels like a cool mix of the Dublin original but with its own American twist. The outdoor area is legit - loads of seating and fire pits to keep you cozy when the weather's chilly. Inside, the vibe is all farmhouse charm, especially with that central bar and tables everywhere. They've got beer everywhere, which is a dream if you're a beer fan. Plus, a shop stocked with all things Guinness - it's like paradise for beer lovers! I've been there thrice, and each time has been rad! Perfect for chilling with friends or even a sweet date night. Their beers are off the charts - seriously, their Old Fashioned inspired ale is a winner. And the food? Don't get me started! From munchies like flatbreads and pretzels with beer cheese to fancier stuff like oysters and burgers, they've got it all. Honestly, if you're ever around, you've gotta check it out. Trust me, it's worth a visit, especially if you're on a layover or just hanging in Baltimore!

Gregg R.

Yelp
Went to visit the brewery to eat and drink. I wanted to go on a tour but the website did not have any opening. I spoke with someone on site who opened up 2 more spots for me and my girlfriend to join. The website says the tour is 1 out but our tour was closer to 2 hours. They have different tour options, 1 where they highlight how the beer is made and the other is the history of Guinness. It is a little disappointing they would split up the tours like this. It makes it appear they are in it for the money and forcing people to take multiple tours. The tour guide himself was very knowledgeable and clearly loved working there. He explained that many beers are there for a limited time so you can return often and have a different beer every time. I ordered the beef stew to eat there and it was delicious! Highly recommend. I also enjoyed the milk stout that was on tap. They have beers that are specifically brewed on site and others that come from the original factory in Dublin. Overall I had a very good experience and hope to return again.

Deborah B.

Yelp
Welcome to Oktoberfest!!!! They have a huge tent with plenty of picnic tables, Astroturf, multiple bars and food options. Check out the dates and times online as you'll wanna check this out before it ends! The Helles bier and the Schwartzbier were my favorite seasonal options.

Richard N.

Yelp
As a consumer of Guinness, I was excited to hear there is a brewery in Baltimore. So when I was in the area, stopping in was necessary and the visit did not disappoint. Before arriving I did a quick search on their website and saw that they give various tours daily, and they also have a restaurant. After booking a tour (around 20 bucks for an hour or so), I planned my lunch at the restaurant. I arrived early and the restaurant had plenty of space, both indoor and out. I loved that Guinness, famous for their dark stout beer, had a variety of original brews on tap that I could enjoy with my food. While at the bar, the tender knew so much about the beer, I thought my tour had already begun! After eating, and still drinking my beer, I was encouraged to take my unfinished beer for the tour. The tour composed of the history of Guinness, the process of brewing, a tour of a part of their facility, and concluded with sampling of their original beers not available on the market. I finished my visit with the gift shop and was sure to pick up a few things. This place is definitely worth the trip. If I was a local to the area, I could easily find myself frequenting because the beer (and food) was fantastic.

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
Had. Great time at Octoberfest was will definitely be back.the food was good and the atmosphere was fun and friendly

Patrick G.

Yelp
Super fun place right outside of Baltimore! Outdoor brewery with a huge selection of drinks and food. For Oktoberfest, they added German food to their menu and it was delicious. Highly recommend coming during Oktoberfest and ordering the schnitzel sandwich. Also, the beer slushies are great!

Jeremiah B.

Yelp
2nd time doing the History/tasting tour. It was a bit different this time which was nice. They also changed a few items on the menu. My wife ordered one of the new items (for us it was new, the last visit was a couple of months ago), and she enjoyed it. We'll wait a month or two and go back for another tour (maybe the Brewery tour this time) and dinner.

K A.

Yelp
We came here a few months ago for dinner and stumbled upon their Wednesday Trivia Night! We had so much fun we keep coming back most Wednesdays! And our team each week keeps growing! Can't wait for more trivia soon!

Joe S.

Yelp
My recent visit to the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore was an overall enjoyable experience that left me with mixed feelings. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the brewery's inviting ambiance and the extensive selection of beers on offer. The knowledgeable staff were more than willing to share insights about the various brews, making the beer-tasting journey even more engaging. However, while the beer was top-notch, I can't say the same for the food. The on-site restaurant had an interesting menu, but the execution left something to be desired. The dishes I ordered were decent, but they didn't match the same level of excellence as the brewery's beer offerings. I will say the rosemary garlic fries were pretty good. The overall experience was positive, and I would recommend a visit to anyone looking for a unique brewery experience.

Simone L.

Yelp
Nice place. I like the look of the interior and exterior. I enjoyed the food items I got here, the Smith Island cake was really good. They have seating and a bar. Some games outside and shopping. Nice place to hang out with family and friends. Service was fine but can be slower during busy times.

Yelp
What a beautiful property and awesome concept! Sixty-five acres of Guinness Brewery fun! We came to celebrate a birthday and do a brewery tour. I mean, he likes a good brew, I like a good brew, it was a no brainer, or so we thought. We got there a little early to take some photos and grab our beers prior to our tour. We got to taste a few interesting beers on tap. I can't remember which beer I decided on, but it was absolutely delicious. Kind of fruity, but smooth. I also tasted a beermosa, which was also awesome! He had a dark stout, which he loved. Too bad our buzz was killed by the upcoming tour. We gathered with the others for our tour and that's when the fun went downhill. Our tour was B-O-R-I-N-G! Imagine being in the most boring and uninteresting history class, EVER! This was what this tour consisted of. It lasted an hour too long and I was ever so upset we paid for this torture. It was a lot of standing and we stood outside way too long in the hot sun for me, so I know it was too much for the seniors in our group. At one point, one senior had to go and sit on the steps. Read the room tour guide! The property itself was a good time. Numerous picnic tables with umbrellas lined the outdoor section with music pumping. I believe you can order food outside and drink there too. They have an indoor restaurant and bar, as well as a souvenir shop. The beer is made in the basement of the building. Truly is a lovely property to just hang out and enjoy a few beers. I would absolutely come back and enjoy the plentiful beer selections available and food, but wouldn't even entertain the idea of a tour. As we exited the tour EARLY, a few of the people in our group said, "yeah, we're teachers and we're struggling in this tour." Again, READ THE ROOM TOUR GUIDE!"

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Its like a Guinness festival in the city. You can learn about the history of Guinness through various historical facts and insights into the beer-making process. The highlight is the tasting session afterwards, where I sampled a lot of beer. The bartender was excellent, recommending beers and explaining their creation. Inside, there's plenty of space, but the real fun is outside. There are picnic tables, music, lawn chairs, and games. It's a great spot to hang out with friends, take pictures, and enjoy a pint.

Yelp
Service was great. They were all friendly and fast at the bar. Ambiance was nice. There's a gift store inside. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor on the front patio with live music on busier days (im assuming). The pretzels were nice. It came with the typical mustard dip but also with queso which was nice. Crab cake sandwich had plenty of crab and no bs filling. The fries were good as well. And the caesar salad was standard. I only wish they served ciders and wine or just one of the two along with beer. Not everyone can drink beer. Plenty of free parking outfront

Yelp
What a fun place! Met some friends after work, the London Lager was perfect ending to a long day! Crisp and citrusy! The beef stew intrigued me, so I ordered. It was a little disappointing - very very salty. I ended up getting the crudities and dip platter and that was much better. Great atmosphere- I'll be back!

Yelp
the short - it's astounding to me how different your experience here can be depending on where you opt to sit. The beer is the same everywhere, but if you're going for food, I'd definitely recommend getting it from the taproom inside. details: Guinness offers a beautiful patio area and a beautiful indoor area with a bar/seating. You should definitely take advantage of the patio if available (they also have a bar outside, but with a few less taps). However, the food situation is vastly different. They have a separate menu for those who want to dine outside, but the quality of food is comparable to carnival/fair food that's quickly prepared and tossed together to vaguely resemble a plate of food. It's quite disappointing given the price they charge makes you think it's higher quality entrees. That being said, the taproom food offerings are many many times better (you can order at the indoor bar). I had the french dip the last time we visited and it was tasty and fresh. The sauce was flavorful, but not overpowering and the side of fries were crispy. The service is nearly self-service for the most part. They have a few bars you can order drinks at with stations set up to self-serve water. There's usually staff walking around that will occasionally ask you if you need anything (they're very friendly), but I wouldn't think of them as a dedicated wait staff. The ambiance is cool and gives off modern-brewery vibes while still giving touches of the classic "Guinness" feel. Guinness is definitely the place to be for corporate events, so don't be surprised if you see like 4-5 different networking events going on during your visit. The venue is large enough that this shouldn't bother you. There is a lot of space and room for a lot of people - I only imagine this being a problem in absolute peak times. Guinness is definitely a must-see experience for those visiting or if you live in the area. It's a beautiful venue with a large selection of beer and good food (if you pick the right place). Great location for parties or hanging out with friends!

Yelp
Overall they have a great selection of beer, lots of different fun places to sit, a great indoor/outdoor vibe, plenty of parking, good service, and great food inside. I love that they always have some different experimental beers and offer flights. Anytime we've gotten food inside we've enjoyed it. Everything is hearty and filling. I wouldn't say it's the most balanced. I find it hard to get veggies here, but it's still delicious. The downside to me is that the food outside is not good. I would compare it to food you might get at a high school football stand and not be anywhere near the quality level you see in these pictures. There is also only a limited selection of beers outside. I love the outdoor set up, but wish they had the same food and drink options in both places. Our 2 year old is obsessed with the flat turf and that he can run free and safely. I love how spread out it is and everyone I've interacted with has been extremely friendly. My friends threw me a surprise bridal shower here years ago and the tap room felt like a great place to mix and mingle with my friends. On a Sunday it wasn't too crowded and we enjoyed the company and the drinks and food.

Yelp
Finally made it out here. We had a tour (including tasting-recommended) for four at 2:30 on a Saturday. Check-in was easy and would recommend getting here earlier to try some of the offerings. (You are allowed to take your beer with you on tour). Biggest surprise was the variety of Beer that was available. Some of our party was late and got here after the tour started. They were gracious and brought them downstairs to join the tour which was a nice touch. Tour was excellent. A great deal of Guinness history shared (and I won't spoil it by sharing any of the details) and cool that Baltimore is the only place the Blonde is Brewed. Bmore will lose the only Guinness brewery in North America title as a second one is scheduled to open up in Chicago summer 23. Tasting was Blonde, Eldorado, Amber, Prowess (wheat beer) and of course Stout. As usual, it was at the end of the tour and a good time was had by all! They were busy and after the tour we asked about a table for dining and the wait was 30-45 minutes. A good size souvenir shop end the fun is they are constantly changing the brew options with experimental beers that are available via tap only and once they're gone, they're gone. Huge outdoor seating area resembling a Biergarten. Service was upbeat and engaged throughout. Desiree, our tour guide, was amazing and took great care of us! Although not Dublin, unique to Bmore and not to be missed.

Yelp
Of course, the Guinness was great! They have a solid selection of beers and the food is really good! There's a cool outdoor seating area accompanied by great live music!

Yelp
My husband and I signed up for the guided tour. We arrived early and sat at the bar. We each had a drink and shared the bangers and mash. Paid extra to have a drink on our tour, which was nice. Our tour was very informative. Learned a lot about the Guinness family. After the tour we went to a special room for tastings. My husband and I both enjoyed the tour and our tour guide. We will definitely recommend to others.

Yelp
I was solo and still enjoyed myself, They check your ID at the gate there's an outside, inside & self-guided & guided tour...Plenty to get into. You can book the tours online or just ask when you come in. The last tour of the day is at 4:30 so I missed it but I hung out at the bar the staff was super nice & informative. Olivia working behind the bar noticed I ordered a stout and gave me 2 pours to try. They have 4 brews for Oktoberfest , I was on a time crunch but I look forward to returning !

Yelp
I am not a beer drinker bit I will dabble in the IPAs and beer that has bourbon characteristics. Guiness provides history, beer options, and elevated bar food for locals and visitors. The Guinness Tour is great. You experience Guinness's rich history and beer making process. This place is great for groups, families, locals , and beer enthusiasts. The staff are all great. I recommend trying the beers amd the tour. The seafood tower is a great dish to try. Bon Apetit.

Yelp
Came here with some friends for Oktoberfest and it was a great time! Really nice brewery and the food we got were good too (my friends who have been to their restaurant said that's also very good). I'm not a huge beer drinker but my husband and friends enjoyed the beers (and the Oktoberfest varieties). Would be down to come back for future events!

Yelp
It was a fun experience. Stew and brown bread are great. Will bring a group next time we go. Trivia nights are fun according to my son. It can get loud though, so it's not a place for quiet conversations.

Yelp
Very impressed to say the least. A must visit while in Baltimore and close to the airport. I was wowed by how massive and spacious this brewery is. They have over 20 Guinness beers on tap and an expansive menu. Great gift shop as well.

Yelp
This is a phenomenal brewery with plenty of food and dining options that pair with the beers on tap. The experimental brews are one of a kind. The place has love music which can be loud for conversations indoor but outdoor has the perfect blend to that same music with some family friendly times on the expansive area. The fries and burgers, sandwiches and chicken fingers were all excellent and service was on par even with a busy Friday night crowd. Will be back anytime we are in the Baltimore area!
