Definitely better to come by and eat at location, we had order DoorDash and liked it; but coming over stepped it into another level!! Food was so good made on the moment!! Servers were really attentive and helpful. The location is easy to find and they have outside seating with heating for the cold! They sale their powder for the horchata!! So you can make it at home!!

I can’t say enough good things about Guisados. Their Chicharron tacos have become an absolute obsession of mine—I go there every chance I get just to enjoy them. The savory flavor and perfect soft-yet-tender texture make every bite worthwhile; each dish has been consistently excellent. I have stopped by all their locations around town to get a taco or two. What truly sets Guisados Long Beach apart, though, is its stellar customer service—it rivals what you’d expect at a high-end French restaurant. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, the staff’s attentiveness is on a whole other level. I’ve rarely experienced this kind of service at any eatery, let alone a taco spot. Honestly, I’d compare it to the treatment you’d get at places like République in Los Angeles. It’s the perfect combination of fantastic food and outstanding hospitality, and it keeps me coming back time and time again.

Google
The outside seating seats a really good vibe. I grew up by the original in Boyle heights and the flavor is no different here. Try the sample platter

Consistently delicious! Parking can be difficult at times. The outdoor patio is super cute but sometimes it smells like urine.

The Food: I love that you can customize your sampler plate (even though they come preselected). They specialize in braised meat and they really showed it here. If you don’t know what to order, go with the OG sampler then decide which flavor you want a bigger version of with the option to level up on the heat. But BEWARE - IT IS SPICY SPICY. My favorite is the Cochinita Pibil. It was savory and spicy! I tried level 7 and after a few bites, I couldn’t hang anymore haha..a 5 was about right for me. The sampler comes in level 3 as default. They also serve breakfast, tamales (pretty good), and offer vegetable options (quesadilla and frijoles are good!). What we ordered: Customized Sampler (6) $11.75 - Chuleta en Chile Verde x2 *** - Cochinita Pibil **** - Mole Poblano ** - Chorizo *** - Bistec Roja*** Customized Sampler (6) $11.75 - Cochinita Pibil **** - Tinga de Pollo *** - Mole Poblano ** - Bistec Roja *** - Steak Picado ** - Chicharron *** Vegetarian Sampler (6) 11.75 - Hongos con Cilantro *** - Calabacitas ** - Frijoles con Queso *** - Quesadilla *** Regular size Cochinita Pubil, level 7 **** $4.25 Horchata Coldbrew (L) **** $6.50 Limon (L) **** $4.00 The Service: The staff here are always so helpful and patient for the multiple times we’ve been here. We never have to wait too long and food are served hot. Whoever comes out with your sampler plate, goes over each one. The Atmosphere: Indoor is a bit small but people come and go quick enough for others to sit. Has an outdoor patio to enjoy the fresh air especially for them spicy ones lol Overall: For me 4.5/5. Sampler is what makes it stand out because you get to try 6 small portions of multiple kinds. But out of all the options, only a few I’d come back for. There are 2 restrooms available and a small merch area where you can buy their t-shirts and such. The sampler tacos come out about $2 each which is the average cost for tacos in Mexico City and TJ. I highly recommend this place! Parking: Free parking lot space next to entrance. Total Cost: $40.48 Follow and Subscribe for more food and travel content! YT @RoseAndWorld7 IG @RoseAndWorld7

Love this place! Tacos are sooo good and have high quality ingredients. The workers are kind and helpful. They forgot one of our tacos and made it right away and gave us an extra one for free! 11/10 recommend

Google
We had high expectations coming in, and let me tell you they knocked it out the park. Every taco we tried was as amazing as the last. A great salsa selection with delicious tortillas, authentic flavor just like abueitas cooking. The service was great and everyone was genuinely happy to be there. 10/10

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Guisados! Wow, what a culinary gem in the heart of L.B.C! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with super friendly staff that make you feel right at home. 🌟 I tried their unique take on the Arnold Palmer, called the Armando Palmero, a refreshing mix of hibiscus tea and lemonade that leaves you wanting more. 🍹 Absolutely exquisite! The sampler plate I ordered was a delightful mix of flavors. Each taco had its own personality, and the guacamole was the icing on the cake. My mother got a ceviche tostada that I just had to try, and let me tell you, it was incredibly fresh! 🌮🍤 The tamales de elote had a scent of fresh corn that took me straight back to my mom's kitchen. 😋🌽 This place is a true treasure, with the best tacos in L.B.C. If you're looking for a new hot spot, Guisados is the place to be! Don't miss out! 👏🔥

Yelp
Best tacos in town. Must try the tamales as well super good and soft maza. Going again soon.

Yelp
There's no shortage of taco spots in Long Beach, for me this is my new favorite. You can't beat the price and the selection. The staff are super friendly and the tacos are seriously delicious. Everything was super fresh and the place was immaculate. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Had the Burbank location plenty of times. Found one near LGB and decided to go. It was delicious Favorites : chiccarones and cochinita pibil. Flavorful. Good amount of sauce and heat. Tortilla was delicious. The other two. Steak something and tina de pollo: they have something there. Just need to thicken the broth. It was too runny

Yelp
A group of us had lunch at Guisados after a morning of pickleball. My partner and I split a sampler (where we got 2 each of the chicharron, tinga de pollo, and steak picado) and a cold brew. We all sat outside on the patio (across different tables) which was very clean and cute. It was nice because my pups could sit by us while we ate (otherwise we would have had to get our order as to go). When our food was ready, it was brought out to us by the staff. I've been to Guisados in Downtown LA and Pasadena so I knew what to expect in terms of quality. They usually never disappointed me in terms of flavor but this time, my partner and I both gave the chicharrons a thumbs down. It did indeed taste like chicharrons but had a super soggy texture we weren't expecting. The chicken was probably our favorite as we found the steak one to be a little dry but still tasty. From past experiences and this one, I would still say I'm seldom disappointed in what I order but every menu is bound to have a few items not to your specific liking. I just know next time that I don't like the chicharrons and will get more of the chicken. Price is really why they get a 4 instead of a 5. There's just a lot of good taco places around so in an oasis of good Mexican food, Guisados is on the pricier (and smaller) side. The quality is very good though so you decide with your own wallet.

Yelp
Off the charts! I'm so happy me and my pals went here on Taco Tuesday. I got the chicken tinga, papas con chorizo, frijoles y queso, & camaron. Every single taco was so flavorful and lended the right amount of spice. The jamaica was a wonderful drink to wash it all down with. The service was quick & friendly and the ambiance is very warm and inviting. My friends and I sat on the patio, which had heat lamps. Can't wait to go again!

Yelp
Ordered on DoorDash On DoorDash with all the fees and tips it can become a bit expensive ordering food online. I chose Pollo Tinga, Pollo Tamal,Veggie Taco, Fish Taco & Habanero Salsa this includes free Pico De Gallo and Crema. Let's talk about the food. Pollo Tamal -- Chicken Tamale. The chicken was highly seasoned and tender and the masa was tender and flavorful I would buy this again. 8/10 Pollo Tinga Taco Spicy|Chicken Taco. Soft and tender corn tortilla flavorful chicken it was very good. 8/10 Veggie Taco A medley of grilled veggies and a drop of salsa verde it was ok and needed a more flavor. 7/10 Pescado Taco -- Fish Taco I didn't like the presentation it was way to messy - the fish lacked flavor had an odd taste and in my opinion was undercooked and spongy not good at all too with much cabbage and whatever that sauce was it wasn't good. 3/10 Side of corn tortillas delicious tender and fresh tasted homemade. 9/10 Habanero Salsa spicy and so good on those tacos and tamale. 10/10 Condiments Crema was bland 2/10 Pico de gallo 8/10 Habanero Salsa - spicy and soo good 10/10 Salsa Verde - creamy and so good. 8/10 It's never personal.. Overall my take on this restaurant is good my issues with the fish taco was mine and based on the other reviews seems to not be the norm always remember taste is subjective so come out and experience this food for yourself. On the way home. Stop by the Long Beach aquarium it's in the area you can walk off the food with this amazing adventure you will thank me later. Bye for now! Just me Shawn C.

Yelp
TL:DR: Elevated tacos albeit a little pricey. Excited that a Guisados opened in Long Beach! Originally tried this place out in Pasadena but given the glut of taco spots, it wasn't worth driving all the way up for. We got there around 12:30 and were happy to hear they were still doing breakfast. We ordered a chorizo breakfast taco and breakfast burrito. I wish there was more fillings in the breakfast burrito but it was still legit. Enjoyed the chorizo taco as well. We also got the chicken tinga, the carnitas, and fish tacos. The tortilla is excellent. A real homemade flavor. All of the tacos were excellent. I was surprised by how much I liked the fish taco. I do wish it had a bit more spice but the fish was flavorful. The chicken tinga has a little sweetness, some heat, and very flavorful. The carnitas were a little dry but otherwise pretty good. My son got the steak tacos and said they were really good which is high praise from a picky teenager. They were really nice and I liked the inside - small but modern and welcoming. The biggest downside is that if you get food to go, the amount of sauce makes the tortilla too soggy. We liked the drinks, the melon Fresca is a little too sweet but tastes of fresh melon. The Arnold Palmer is tangy and good. Will definitely go back and try other tacos.

Yelp
I love that there have been more guisados opening! Safe to say that the quality is just as delicious as their other branches. I ordered online, service was fast and pick up was efficient! Inside was clean and quiet when I went to pick up. Will definitely be coming back. Per usual I got the sampler. Delicious!

Yelp
This place is the bomb! I have yet to move off of the Cochinita Pibil tacos which are so so so yummy. This white boy found that 5/10 on the spicy scale was just a bit too much. I mentioned to my server that I had never seen a pibil taco before and he explained that "guidado" means stew and everything fell into place. I also got to try the Jamaica drink which is made from red hibiscus and apparently helps to control blood sugar. It reminded me of cranberry juice but not so tart. Delicious. Nice spot, tables inside and out so whatever you fancy. Service was great. Absolutely returning!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I really love the homemade tortillas, seasonal Valentines strawberry horchata, melon juice, and the chorizo cheese taco. Minus a star because these tacos are VERY expensive about $4+ each.
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
The Sampler was perfect! You get to taste it all and it's all delicious. So tender and juicy; the marinated meat has the perfect texture and flavor. Easy to go with corn tortillas holding up for the car home. Delicious!

Yelp
STEPH JUDGEMENT: My favorite taco spot in Long Beach. I've been a fan of this chain ever since visiting their first location in Echo Park, so imagine my excitement at finding out they were coming to Long Beach! The store is modestly-sized but clean and modern like their other stores, with a lovely patio area. Since I'm pescatarian and my hubby is vegetarian, the options at most taco places are limited for us, but not here. In addition to their meat offerings, they have a nice selection of seafood and veg tacos that we really appreciate! I love their substantial tortillas, and my absolute favorite beverage is their horchata with cold brew. They also have awesome breakfast burritos and are open late. On top of that, their service has always been great. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Yelp
Even with an abundance of tacos in Long Beach, I was excited for a LA taco institution to come and give us something new and potentially a go-to spot that is just around the corner.. alas, not the case for me. Since it is so close, it is very easy to drop by and pick up some tacos - eaten in and taken to-go - and I always try things at least twice to make sure it wasn't an off day or they're still getting their groove. I am just not impressed with the tacos at the price point ($4.25-4.95 each or you can get a sampler which comes with smaller sized portions of each taco) My favorite taco that I have tried here is the camarones (shrimp) and least favorite being the chicharron. A lot of the meats are stewed and shredded meats that are saucy, if this is your thing this might be the place for you! I felt like some were lacking flavor. Decent house made tortillas, messy though because they do fall apart because of the sauciness. The highlight of Guisados for me and the item I pick up is the melon agua fresca, delicious and refreshing. I highly recommend getting this! Parking is small, you can park in the Rite Aid/Food for Less area and walk over. Surprisingly a good amount of eating inside and outside on the patio. Staff and service has always been friendly and quick. Not the taco spot for me, but may be for you!

Yelp
My family and I are thrilled that Guisados landed in Long Beach! We use to go to Guisados in East Los Angeles their original location that opened several years ago. These tacos are next level in the quality and deliciousness! One of my favorites is the Chile Relleno taco. They offer vegetarian and vegan options besides all the savory meat options. The customer service is great with friendly staff ready to answer questions about the menu. Indoor and outdoor eating space is available. They have created an outdoor space that is shaded and filled with plants and is pet friendly.
google avatar

Juliet S.

Yelp
Finally a Guisados closer to me! I literally screamed when I saw they opened. I've been to a lot of their other locations and the mini taco sampler never disappoints with the yummy lil handmade tortillas. Love the cute lil outdoor space so we can come with our lil dog which is always a plus. Wish the pumpkin spice horchata was year round. It was so good!
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
Tacos were dabomb.com and the strawberry horchata was next level. Guisados has a simple menu, but it's about the quality not the quantity like the saying goes. Located where LB Fish Grill used to be, with sufficient inside seating and a quaint beautiful outside patio to match. I highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been waiting to try this spot out , and it wasn't a disappointment ! -Tamal de queso -Ceviche Tostada -Cochinita Pibil -Camarones The masa was soft and ceviche had a lot of flavor. I ordered 5/10 spice with the Cochinita Pibil and it was perfect. The pork was tender and sweet as well. The chipotle sauce over the Camarones made it a nice addition. Food , service and ambiance was great. They even have a nice back patio with music and heaters. I can't lie, it's more on the pricey side but I will definitely be back! 8/10
google avatar

Yelp
Terrific friendly service, tasty food. Very clean atmosphere. Would come back for a terrific taste of burritos, tacos or tamales
google avatar

Janessa H.

Yelp
Delicious tacos. The chicken tinga might have the best spice and flavor I've ever had. The mole was subtle not overpowering, but I personally could have used a tiny bit more sauce. The steak was tender almost like pot roast. They don't have a salsa bar which was interesting but all of the tacos didn't even need it they had a ton of flavor. I'd definitely be back.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and I finally decided to treat myself to a solo date night--and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and helped right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to answer my questions and offer suggestions since it was my first visit. I ordered two tacos: shrimp and chicken mole. Both were excellent, but the shrimp taco stole the show for me--it was spicy, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. I also tried their fresh melon juice, and it was so good! I chose to sit on their back patio, which was beautifully set up with string lights and heaters, making it cozy and inviting. It was so nice and a great space to enjoy a peaceful meal. I've already told so many people about this hidden gem. I was surprised it wasn't busier for a Friday evening--Long Beach is definitely sleeping on this spot! I can't wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We had planned to go for arepas at night but could not find the place (it was on Google Maps but not Yelp), so had to pick another late-night eatery instead. My coworker had recently told me that Guisados opened up a Long Beach location, so we decided to check-in out. It was my first time ever trying Guisados the restaurant, but not guisados the stew (there's a great guisado taco place in Mexico City I love). There is a small dedicated parking lot and the restaurant is quaint, with a number of tables indoors and more outdoors for dining-in. The menu is up on the wall and not too big; they basically serve tacos of various sorts plus a few other things like tamales and quesadillas. Service was very friendly, and we were even given a tamal to try. We ordered four regular size tacos and also the taco sampler with six mini tacos. We also ordered a pork tamal with fried egg and the special of the day (ceviche tostada). While prices are on the higher end, portions are decent. All of the food was delicious. I especially appreciated the thick chewy homemade corn tortillas. The mini tacos cooled quickly though so I would advise eating them promptly. The house salsas were tasty too, with the habanero salsa providing quite a kick! We also ordered melón and limón agua frescas to drink, both of which were flavorful although the melón a bit too sweet. Overall, excellent tacos and it's nice to have a different option than the standard street taco fare. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
we were really excited about trying this new place in our neighborhood. We ordered steak picado. Fish and mushroom. Steak picado was tender and flavorful. But too wet for me and broke my tortilla. The mushroom was subpar. It's regular button mushroom and lacked flavor or originality. It's something you can make at home. The fish was not overcooked but again lacked in flavor. the tortillas were home made that's prob my highlight of the place.
google avatar

Patrick R.

Yelp
These tacos are so good. Love the chorizo con papas. Had the quesadilla con chorizo too, and the chicken tamal is so good. It can be expensive, but they're worth the price of you're looking to splurge. The crew is nice and works quick. It's also got a chill outside spot.

Yelp
Super excited when a Guisados opened relatively local to save me the trip to LA so I can finally try it. Went with a buddy early on a Monday morning. Place was empty but to be expected. Really nice and clean new place. Great to hangout with outside or inside. Staff was really nice and friendly. Kept checking on us throughout our time there. I couldn't decide what to get so I got the sampler with: tinga, mole poblano, cochinita pibil, chuleta, bistec en salsa roja, and steak picado. Love guidados (stewed meats) in general. So juicy and so much flavor when cooked properly. All options here have their own flares: the chocolate/nutty flavors of the mole heightened with the added sesame seeds and pepitas, the spicy cochinita pibil that pairs perfectly with the pickled onion which adds acidity and sweetness, and the tangy chuleta with salsa verde. They were all great, but those stood out the most, and you can't forget about the hand made tortillas that hold up amazingly. To wash it all down you have the homemade horchata, you can tell the difference from the sugar water other places offer that is a mix, and I got extra to go for my wife. Sadly this stuff is all super expensive. A sampler player with 6 tacos is $11.25 and they are one bit each. The regular tacos at $4.25 each and are bigger but not large by any means. A large horchata is $4.25 and they add on $3.25 for a shot of espresso. At least it is all extremely high quality and tastes amazing. But if I want a taco fix, there's plenty of places I can get it for, and much more reasonably priced. Guisados specializes in the type of tacos they give you and they do it well. I'll come back, but not a place I'd frequent. Really happy I finally tried it

Yelp
This review is after my third visit and I have not been let down once. This is my go to night time taco place although a small establishment i think thats what makes the service so amiable. Now I don't have a huge stomach so as much as i want to stuff myself with 10+ tacos i usually do the sampler plate which allows you to taste 5 mini tacos . DO NOT SLEEP ON THE VEGGIE MENU, those tacos are just if not better than the meat ones .
google avatar

Anders Christofer C.

Yelp
Just opened in Long Beach. Stumbled upon it today just before noon. They still had their breakfast burritos that were absolutely amazing. Best breakfast burrito Inhave had in a long time. Everything was fresh and just made. It was delicious. I will come back to try their tacos for sure!! Nice cashier, great service and very pleasant inside. Trendy ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
So happy to see this place in Long Beach! They had a pumpkin spice horchata which was sooo delicious! I grabbed a sampler just because it's the best option as well as the quesadilla! Staff was super sweet and order was done quick!

Yelp
So glad the decided to bring their humble fresh corn tortillas snd tasty stews to Lobg Beach. Now the Lbc has many legit taco offerings, perhaps too many.,service was fast considering i was there on day one of their opening. Well trained staff. I love the arnold palmero which is an agua fresca half jamaica half limeaid, 100% tasty. Nice patio to sit outside and enjoy the sweltering heat while wolfing down some very tasty tacos. Don't miss the cochinita pibil, or bistec. Get a sampler and try as many as you can handle. They are smaller than the usual taco size . About 2-3 bites worth. Im so happy about the location, i don't have to drive to downtown any more to get these.
google avatar

Vicky B.

Yelp
My favorite place to eat tacos that taste like mom's cooking! We have been at many of the locations and all of them have the same quality of food and service. This is a place that if I had a chance to eat every day, I would. The variety is great and all the flavors are one of a kind.
google avatar

Victoria A.

Yelp
I recommend this spot ! They have variety of meats and service was good. They did get my order wrong twice but they fixed it right away. I was very surprised because it was really good however Pricing is a little high in my opinion for the size of the tacos. Ambiance was good cute little spot. Will be coming back soon.
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
Obsessed with this place! The steak tacos in both the green and the red sauce are some of the best things I've eaten at a restaurant, it really tastes homemade! The prices are also very reasonable!

Yelp
Amazing tacos, amazing service. Left my wallet here and they locked it up for me keeping it safe. Good lookin out!!

Yelp
i got a jamaica agua fresca, and 3 tacos - cochinita pibil, chuleta en chile verde, and bistek en salsa roja. i probably could have just done 2 tacos for lighter lunch but 3 also didn't seem like an overkill. pretty pricey now - since it's a bit more than i had remembered. i've tried guisados in pasadena and weho in the past (before its closure) my fav was cochinita pibil. the other two needed some work with the flavors. bistek one just felt salty and not much else going on. i know i went on a soft opening day - and would like to come again when the hype has settled. i waited 40 minutes for 3 tacos bc there were a lot of people! the food also wasn't piping hot.. more like lukewarm - which made me a lil sad. jamaica drink was good too - would like to also try the horchata cold brew when i need a pick me up! the patio space is nice - and you can totally bring a dog there. the inside is also clean and simple. some bar seatings and a few tables inside and most of the seating is outside.

Yelp
I'm so glad that they're here and at their price point this is going to be my go to spot. Delicious and Friendly. Great staff. There were too many flies inside and outside of the restaurant on the patio, but that's everywhere these days I guess but I hope that they will find a solution of of some sorts. We ordered a couple of combos and couple of extra tacos and of course was delicious.
google avatar

Lew K.

Yelp
The foods good, I've been twice. Got 3 tacos the first time. They are small two bite tacos at $5 a pop. There no prices anywhere when you walk in. I was not blown away and left hungry after spending $17 bucks on 3 tacos. Have them a second try to try the breakfast burrito and it was not good at all. It was tiny too. Like Shockley small. Potatoes were under cooked and left hungry again. Burrito was so small idk even know how much it was. It was 16 for a burrito and one taco. The taco was good. Staff is really friendly and nice. The portions and prices will have you confused the entire time you're eating. "Did I just get bamboozled for some steeet tacos"
google avatar

Sparkle S.

Yelp
Delish! First visit, got the sample plate and a quesadilla (shared each item even tho they are small). Each taco was distinctly flavored and delicious. The quesadiilla was unique and equally good. And, I can't end without mentioning the tortillas which were on par with everything else. I loved the food here (obviously), and hope others do too, so that this location stays open.
google avatar

Tushita H.

Yelp
Long Beach gets its first -- albeit tiny -- Guisados! I'm not going to review the food, since it's pretty well-established at this point. There is a small amount of seating inside and outside (the patio is dog-friendly and has shaded portions). I can't imagine that this place holds more than 30-40 people total, so I wouldn't recommend it for large groups. The parking lot directly outside is also pretty tiny -- my recommendation would be to park in the neighboring Rite Aid/Food 4 Less/Mcdonald's lot and walk over. They're in their soft-opening phase, so there are a few kinks to be worked out. The food can take a long time and for some reason there were no trash cans around. All of this is understandable and it's nothing against the business as it's only their first day or two being open!
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Los Angeles I would find any reason to detour to Guisados... when I heard they were coming to Long Beach I was beyond excited. Located where Long Beach Fish grill used to be. Guisados fills the void the old restaurant left behind. Everything on the menu is great.. and if you are like me you will eventually be ordering one of every taco! Options for both vegetarians and non as well. Highly recommend the drinks too.. specifically the Armando Palmero! A great addition to the neighborhood and hopefully they are here for a long time!!

Yelp
Such a great spot! Never had them before and to be in Long Beach amongst all the other amazing Mexican food is a brave move that not all new spots can pull off and sustain. This place will be around for a while and is now one of my top 10 in LB. I always get the sampler, so i have tried many different tacos at this point and they are all really tender, flavorful and delicious and those home made tortillas..wow! So far I have tried: Steak Picado Bistek en Salsa Roja Tinga de Pollo Mushroom/Hongos con Cilantro Chorizo Frijoles con Queso Can't wait to try some of the other items.
google avatar

Sabrina D.

Yelp
Delicious tacos with the best homemade tortillas. They have a pumpkin spice horchata rn that is so good! Looks like it's made with a pumpkin cream foam. Really delicious. My favorites are the tacos de camarones and the tostado de ceviche. Really friendly service as well. We always sit outside for the nice breezy patio too.

Yelp
Food was delish! The nice girl recommended the taco sampler and it didn't disappoint! Sooooo goooood!!

Yelp
Authentic and incredibly flavorful. This place is a new gem in the LB food scene. Strongly suggest the Bistek tacos

Yelp
Breakfast burrito with hot dog is my new fav breakfast burrito in the city Taco sampler is great for trying a bunch of bite sized tacos at a great price. Love the bistek roja-- that's my fav followed by the steak picado. The camarones taco also great. Pescado taco was meh

Yelp
Unusually good tacos for good prices and perfect little portion options? Yeah I'll take it. Staff here is super nice and the backyard patio situation is unexpectedly cute. Don't sleep on this one!

Yelp
The food is so good. It's set up so you can enjoy a little of all your favorite homemade comfort foods. Made me think of my mom's and abuelita's home-cooking. So many choices, all great and flavorful wrapped up in a taco or burrito. You can have a chile relleno taco, mole taco and chile verde taco all in one sitting! Their quesadillas are also great! Don't think you can really go wrong here! Service is friendly and makes greats recommendations. A few inside tables, but also offer patio seating!

Yelp
I gotta say this place is definitely a must place to go. We had lunch there today and it didn't fail. I got the sampler taco platter it was on point with the portions and taste. Customer service was excellent. Our cashier Dante was great when recommending what flavor of tacos we should get his attitude was legit and patient. The ambience is pretty chill. Only crappy part is the parking but you can park at the Food for less parking.

Yelp
Another trip to Guisados and it's another great experience at this location! The cashier Iris helped me out at the front and she was friendly and welcoming. She had really good suggestions and I ordered what she suggested. I'm glad I did!!! Everything turned out great! Great location to sit and eat at. Very clean and nice patio!

Yelp
I bought a breakfast burrito with chorizo and what a let down. Super small for $10. There are other local spots with burritos that are double the size and much tastier. A very hard pass on this place.

Yelp
So good! Guisados is officially on my Long Beach taco rotation. Three to four tacos would be enough for most because they fill up their tacos and use handmade tortillas. Don't forget to order an aguas fresca too! The agua de melón was sweet and refreshing. Out of all the tacos I tried, I'll definitely be coming back for the tacos de cochinita pibil, mole poblano, bistec en salsa roja, and chicharrón. If you like cheese, you need to order the quesadilla with chorizo. Yes, $4 is a little pricey for a taco, but the portions and quality of the ingredients make it worth it. Also, they have a cute patio area and offer outdoor seating.
