"Giushu is Milan’s answer to a Chinese diner. Tucked in the Porta Venezia area, the small, simply decorated dining room almost feels like eating at home. Families settle in alongside locals and expats, and the staff couldn’t be warmer or more accommodating. The food is straightforward Sichuan: shared plates, generous portions, homely, and well-cooked. Nose-to-tail cooking shows up in dishes like tripe and tongue, while equal care is given to something as humble as cabbage or beans, gently seasoned and perfectly balanced." - Michael Zee
