The drinks are good, the music adds to the atmosphere, and the restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms. In warmer months, the outdoor seating is a nice option. A solid choice for a relaxed, tasty meal—just be prepared to ask for forks

An incredible evening at Gül – a true journey through the flavors of Turkey 🇹🇷 We kicked things off with Raki and a perfectly mixed Negroni, followed by a table full of deliciousness: creamy Cacık, rich Yumurta Salatası, crispy Yufka, juicy Köfte, and the standout Bazlamalı Köfte Kebabı. The Lahmacun was light and flavorful, the Manti absolutely melt-in-your-mouth, and we finished with golden, flaky Baklava. Every dish was bold, authentic, and full of soul. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was excellent, however, the pricing is a bit high for the portion sizes. If you don't mind smaller portions or ordering a bunch of dishes (which adds up) it is a great place to visit. They also were sold out of some of the things we wanted to order. The staff was very nice, you won't have a dedicated server but they were somehow able to make it work.

I had a fantastic experience at Gül Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, with a diverse surprise menu that allowed us to try a variety of delicious dishes. While the portions weren’t particularly large, we could reorder dishes from the surprise menu as often as we liked—and we happily took advantage of this three times! The only downside was the acoustics; it was quite noisy while the restaurant was full, though it improved as people left. Overall, a great spot for flavorful food and a friendly dining experience!

Went with my good friend. We had a cocktail first and then we went for the surprise menu. We really liked the food. Had a turkish white and red wine. Tasty. Service was friendly. We had a great time. Tables are bit close to each other but we had a great chat with out table neighbours :-) Especially in this warm summer evenings sitting outside was so good. Try it :-) But, make sure to book your table in advance.

Went there for a Birthday dinner and the food and drinks were amazing, although a bit pricy for the portion size but definitely worth it. We had the feeling tough that the service was pretty stressed and we were also rushed to order. Nevertheless a nice experience, we will definitely come back.

Dinner with a Friend. At first it was fully booked but there was a possibility to get contacted if a new slot turns up.. luckily it worked out.. a warm welcome 🙏 out table was on the entrance to the kitchen and next to the door 🚪 entering the washroom, which was no problem at all as the overall atmosphere is just nice .. the gentleman serving us, seemed very inexperienced but very very friendly and that’s what counts at the end .. the food was amazing, the Turkish 🇹🇷 tea was delicious. Just a suggestion for the future .. it would be nice to have some alcohol free cocktails etc to choose from.. we’ll be back

One of my favourite restaurants! 🌹 I live in Zürich and invited my parents for a birthday here. We took the degustation menu! They make a variation of their menu for you! We loved it! It was in 2021. It was a lot of food! I asked them to package it so I can take it home and eat for lunch the next day. Really delicate food!! Really nice and creative flavours! And the cook is I think really from Turkey, so I think it’s authentic, but with a finde dining note to it! ✨ The place is also wonderful and super pretty!!! Next time i went in 2021 for brunch! Also lovely!! I think mu favourite brunch, because i am not a breakfast fan, and here they serve so different diverse dishes! I loved it! Then we went last week, again, lovely! This time we didn’t take the menu, because they don’t always serve everything. Last time we didn’t have the kebap for example! So we ordered almost everything they had once, we were 4 people. It was also a just right amount of food. It’s nice to share all dishes and try everything. If you are a big group it’s cool you can order all of it and try all! That last time we ordered 2 of each of the breads and like 11 dishes plus baklava and drinks, we payed 75 per person. And the menu is i think 80.- Thanks 🌹🌹🌹

Sorry to say we were hoping to have a good tasty Turkish food to welcome us. We waited a long tome to have our dinner and the kofte kebab was way too spiced up with a semi cooked pide the chard was not edible because it was so chewy plus our server didn't acknowledged our concerns. Pricey for the quality. Great atmosphere and attentive maitre'd. good vibe too

Everything sucked! Service was the worst. Be prepared to wait long time for your food. The area was not a good location with graffiti outside. Food was not cooked well, aryan was diluted yogurt with no seasoning. I was very disappointed especially since it was my first time in Zurich spending my birthday here was mistake. My baklava never came but my tea came and got cold. Wrongly advertised. Go somewhere else for Turkish food!! Over priced, understaffed, little food... never recommend this place. The worst experience in Zurich by far! ;(

This restaurant opened 07.01.2019 (today) and it is a great gem in a newly renovated backyard building off Tellstrasse in Kreis 4. The food is prepared with great care to details, powerful flavors and high quality. We had the mussels, vegetarian tartar as starters - both exceptional! The gül style vide is a freshly baked stone oven bread with a well spiced potato topping. Also the Fistikli Kebab (lamp) was delicious. I don't think that you can find this kind of restaurant elsewhere in Zurich. It is certainly on the pricy side but the level of dining and quality is worth it.
