"This restaurant tucked away in an inner courtyard has a laid-back atmosphere and is pleasantly lively thanks to a vibrant soundtrack of Turkish music. And so the scene is set for the food, a modern take on traditional Turkish dishes – made in the open kitchen and, in keeping with the way in this part of the world, served in smaller portions or larger dishes for sharing." - Michelin Inspector

The best food/brunch since years. This experience is PERFEKT every dish was very tasty 😋 the quality is amazing .. the food on the picture is charged with CHF 62 per table .. which is very fair for Zürich .. the team is extremely friendly… we will be back soon as it is an enjoyment to be Gül

Super nice staff! The food was good but differs to the kitchen you knew from Istanbul. They specialized on their own things like Pita a la carbonara (amazing) and also the eggs with the dunkim salami

One of my favourite restaurants! 🌹 I live in Zürich and invited my parents for a birthday here. We took the degustation menu! They make a variation of their menu for you! We loved it! It was in 2021. It was a lot of food! I asked them to package it so I can take it home and eat for lunch the next day. Really delicate food!! Really nice and creative flavours! And the cook is I think really from Turkey, so I think it’s authentic, but with a finde dining note to it! ✨ The place is also wonderful and super pretty!!! Next time i went in 2021 for brunch! Also lovely!! I think mu favourite brunch, because i am not a breakfast fan, and here they serve so different diverse dishes! I loved it! Then we went last week, again, lovely! This time we didn’t take the menu, because they don’t always serve everything. Last time we didn’t have the kebap for example! So we ordered almost everything they had once, we were 4 people. It was also a just right amount of food. It’s nice to share all dishes and try everything. If you are a big group it’s cool you can order all of it and try all! That last time we ordered 2 of each of the breads and like 11 dishes plus baklava and drinks, we payed 75 per person. And the menu is i think 80.- Thanks 🌹🌹🌹

The service was good, the people were friendly and they served fast. The food was fantastic, we had a surprise menu to share and we really enjoyed all the different flavors. We had a table right next to the open kitchen and it’s really interesting to see how the team works together as they prepare your dish.

Summary: We were there for the birthday of my mother. For my personal taste, this was an exceptional evening. Will definitely come back. + The food is just great. We had Mini Lahmacun, Cacik (hope I wrote that right - the yogurt), egg salad and bread as a starter. All of it was fantastic, although the bread stood out as exceptional to me. Might be a funny thing, but having the right bread is absolutely essential to me. + Atmosphere: loud and alive. I like places that have a lively atmosphere. The music selection is fantastic (lots of anatolian psych, such as Altin Gün was played) and people are having lively conversations. If you're a relatively quiet person, you might feel overwhelmed. + Service was fantastic. People constantly checked in on us and food arrived at our table very quickly. The service team seemed very attuned to each other. - My only critique: portion size or pricing. I think the main issue that many people have with this restaurant, is that the portion size doesn't adhere to other portion sizes of similar places. However, the prices on the menu look similar to other turkish restaurants. That gives the false impression, that this is a relatively cheap restaurant... it is not. GÜL IS PRICEY, BUT WORTH IT. I would suggest, that they increase portion size and pricing to adequately reflect the actual price range that you will pay as a guest. Again: this doesn't bother me. I think it's fairly priced, but this was a bit weird.

Amazing chef restaurant with Turkish-inspired dishes. Go with an open mind and you will be impressed! The brunch is better than most breakfast places in Turkey as the ingredients are top quality and everything is made-to-order with attention

Google
fabtastic brunch if you for once want to eat something different and move away from these usual brunch menus. i love turkish tea, but i found this one a bit bitter this time. service started super friendly and efficient. the more people arrived, the more patience was needed from the guests to get more beverages and bread etc. i will definitely come back again!

Lovely modern Turkish restaurant tucked away in an unassuming location not far from the train station . The food and the drinks were excellent. We did the tasting menu which was well worth it for the price and offered a bit of everything on the menu. Great staff and loved the open kitchen concept. Will definitely return !

Yelp
Sorry to say we were hoping to have a good tasty Turkish food to welcome us. We waited a long tome to have our dinner and the kofte kebab was way too spiced up with a semi cooked pide the chard was not edible because it was so chewy plus our server didn't acknowledged our concerns. Pricey for the quality. Great atmosphere and attentive maitre'd. good vibe too

Yelp
Everything sucked! Service was the worst. Be prepared to wait long time for your food. The area was not a good location with graffiti outside. Food was not cooked well, aryan was diluted yogurt with no seasoning. I was very disappointed especially since it was my first time in Zurich spending my birthday here was mistake. My baklava never came but my tea came and got cold. Wrongly advertised. Go somewhere else for Turkish food!! Over priced, understaffed, little food... never recommend this place. The worst experience in Zurich by far! ;(

Yelp
This restaurant opened 07.01.2019 (today) and it is a great gem in a newly renovated backyard building off Tellstrasse in Kreis 4. The food is prepared with great care to details, powerful flavors and high quality. We had the mussels, vegetarian tartar as starters - both exceptional! The gül style vide is a freshly baked stone oven bread with a well spiced potato topping. Also the Fistikli Kebab (lamp) was delicious. I don't think that you can find this kind of restaurant elsewhere in Zurich. It is certainly on the pricy side but the level of dining and quality is worth it.
