There is nothing like live horse racing!! So fun, exciting. We went for the Florida Derby 2025….this track has restaurants, bars, clubs & shopping. We did buy tickets in advance so I could get the seats I wanted, but you don’t have to…you can just walk in free and enjoy the racing and the horses.

Absolutely gorgeous facilities! From the shops to the restaurants. I enjoyed it to the fullest. Go place your bets, get a bite, and have a cocktail! Good luck!!

My wife and I were on vacation in South Miami Beach and met friends who live in Ft. Lauderdale at Gulfstream Park Racing. We all had a great time watching the races and donating to their adjacent Casino 🎰. Definitely plan on returning next year. Pegasus Cup race was held the day before so the crowd wasn’t too bad on a Sunday. Great vibes here! Friendly people and lots of great horse racing!

Love coming to Gulfstream year round & especially during the Championship Meet. Close up view of horses in the walking ring & close up view of the winners circle. The Pegasus Park is beautiful ❤️. Met Dale Romans whoms a fantastic trainer & dedicated horseman 🐴.

This is a beautiful facility. Very clean. The attached casino was clean with a lower and upper casino. It gives lots of game choices. Restrooms were well kept. Food was tasty. Easy ways to place bets on the races.

Google
An enjoyable experience. We went during Sunday brunch and between races we were easily able to study the horses, make bets, and grab more food. Our booth was spacious with a pretty good view of the race track, which was the largest I’ve been to. The one included mimosa was tasty as were the varied buffet selections. After brunch wrapped up we were able to walk down to the edge of the track and watch races from there. The casino is alright. Real blackjack tables may have lent some more authenticity and excitement to the place - they only had digital dealers.

This place was family friendly. I celebrated my friends daughters birthday.

Fun and lively. Enjoyed the excellent commentary by veteran prognosticator Ron Nicolletti. Beautiful horses and a fun atmosphere!

Yelp
I a nice place to hang out in the city. A plenty of outdoors places to eat, drink, shop and gamble too. Parking is easy and comfortable. Immerse yourself into the lovely south Florida vibe and scene locals and tourists enjoy over and over. We recently visited the place during the Kentucky Derby and we had a blast, dressed up for the ocasión, sipping summer drinks and beat on some horse races ( we won enough to indulge in a romantic dinner at Saturday sunset. Making great memories

Cheryl M.

Yelp
Beautiful race track, definitely worth a visit. We came here for a tapas and wine event. The people who work here are really helpful. They directed us where we needed to go and were super helpful whenever we had questions. Betting was easy and there was virtually no wait. Plenty of staff to take your bets. Races were well organized and each race went off without a hitch. Bathrooms were clean and well attended. Overall, a great experience.

Yelp
I was here this past weekend for the tacos and tequila party working as a vendor with Casamigos and I was very impressed by the facility and the event. The flamingo room is set in the third floor with full length glass windows overlooking the track with a prime view. The event was set up very classy, lots of seating and tables with white tablecloths, about four different tequila tables on each end of the room, each sampling a unique cocktail blended for this occasion, with corresponding signage, fancy black tablecloths, fresh colorful garnishes and matching drinkware all around, really setting the tone and keeping the theme and uniformity. Our drink was the strawberry basil margarita, the hit of the event, as it was a sweet and fun cocktail. There was never not a line at the Casamigos table. I had a chance to grab a plate of food..to be honest, I have had way better tacos, but the event had a great vibe and everyone was having fun. The room is lovely and because I got there early parking wasn't so bad, although as I was leaving the lot seemed full and people were following me like vultures lol.

Yelp
It had been quite a while since I visited Gulfstream and I went to visit the casino and noticed that there were quite a few stores no longer open. I wish they had a smoking area away from the entrance of the casino which makes it unbearable to walk through that area. The casino I love the staff is super friendly and very military friendly, We were given a special card and valet parking tag and thanked for our service, which was an awesome detail on their behalf. The only complaint was the bar staff was not very attentive and a bit unfriendly and it was a weekday which was not very crowded at all. Overall love this casino.

Yelp
I think this place is rigged, never win nothing at all. As far as gambling, this place Is trash. I would never recommend anyone to come here.

Yelp
I live near Gulfstream Park abut haven't visited in awhile. GULFSTREAM is aesthetically beautiful and nice to walk around. . Sad to say there are too many empty storefronts much less than before. They have a good choice of eateries to choose from with different cuisines. You would think they have more shopping but as I mentioned before, too many empty storefronts. The casino is on two levels but consists of slots and electronic roulette table while there are other choices have live table games. The only shining spot for the village Of Gulfstream is the year round horse racing that it's famous for. And they added the Carousel Club trackside. Other than that I don't see the attraction and think the marketing department has a monumental effort to make this place lively. PS. Over by the huge Pegasus statue is a sushi restaurant, especially for takeout. And it's nice to walk around the statue.

Niki V.

Yelp
Great place to have a lovely afternoon/evening watching the horses race. It's a good place to spend the day with your family outside and cool yourselves with some inside gambling. There is an abundance of bars and restaurants so the is no worries. I had some tacos from the taco "truck" and they were delicious.

Yelp
Ahoy, fellow seekers of South Florida adventures! It's Friday, and you know what that means - it's happy hour at Gulf Stream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida! Allow me to regale you with a tale of introducing my friends, lifelong residents of this tropical paradise, to the hidden gem that is Gulf Stream Village. Picture this: a late lunch at Yard House, the closest neighbor to Gulf Stream Village. As our conversation flowed like a Gulf Stream itself, I discovered that these two locals had never witnessed the thrill of horse races right in their own backyard. Unbelievable, right? Well, South Florida's charms are as boundless as the ocean. Now, I'm no gambler, but coming from the Garden State, I couldn't resist exploring the unique offerings of my new home. And let me tell you, Gulf Stream Park is a multifaceted wonderland that often flies under the radar for many locals but captivates visitors from around the world. Our luck was in, for horse races here run wild and free on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, drawing lively crowds that can rival the excitement of a racetrack's finish line. After our delightful lunch, I played tour guide, leading my friends through the stables, where jockeys and horses were gearing up for their moment of glory. The electric energy in the air as those majestic beasts thundered towards victory was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Winners cheered, and losers playfully tossed their losing tickets skyward - a scene straight out of a South Florida storybook. Mind you, this outdoor extravaganza shines brightest during our winter season, when South Florida boasts an average of 75 degrees Fahrenheit and endless sunshine. And let's not forget the abundance of bars, restaurants, and air-conditioned casinos scattered throughout the grounds. Clean, well-maintained, and patrolled by vigilant security, Gulf Stream Park takes your enjoyment seriously. But that's not all, my friends! Gulf Stream occasionally plays host to talented performers on weekends during the bustling season. It's just another feather in their vibrant, entertainment-packed cap. In a place where the beach often steals the spotlight, Gulf Stream Park is a testament to the diversity of South Florida's offerings. It's a haven for those seeking something different, something uniquely Floridian, on their weekends. So, heed my words, dear adventurers - give Gulf Stream Park a whirl. You won't regret exploring this hidden treasure in the heart of Hallandale Beach.

Yelp
I hadn't been in more than 20 yrs. It was grandstands outside in the heat. But that was the way it was. And it was a blast back then. $2 bets, $5 beers, free entrance, free parking. Know what? It's an even bigger blast now! Still free parking, free entrance, $2 bets and $5 (ok, $7) beers. And here's the best part - inside in the A/C at the Ten Palm restaurant. It has a glass wall to see the entire track, and is almost the entire length of the home stretch. It was probably 30% full, they had Sunday brunch for$50. Full menu, steaks, etc. We didn't brunch, but we ate and stayed for nine races, no one chased us out. A day at the Races is such a cool, cheap experience, a way to wile away the day, relax, maybe win a few shekels. The entire park is now a mall venue with shops and restaurants kinda like downtown Doral or Hard Rock.. The really made the joint look nice.

Michael T.

Yelp
A fun day outdoors. Shaded seating clutch. Easy options for food, drink, & betting. So much fun yelling with your guests & when you win you fly high!

Adriana R.

Yelp
We came here again this year for both the Fountain of View and the Florida Derby. Unfortunately it hasn't changed much. There are a couple of new restaurants in the complex but they are very expensive (one of them is not even open during the day on weekends). We booked our seats in the Silk section again. Remembering that last year we found them occupied by other people every time we came back to the room, this year our friends created a big "Reserved" sign to put on our little desks. Well, we still had to ask (non-paying!) people to leave our seats, and that wouldn't be enough, we still had to put up with their offended and annoyed attitude. Of course, it doesn't help at all that, like last year, there was only one person watching the entire floor (about 400 seats?) and an obvious huge lack of organization. There was also again that same couple sitting for the entire event by one wagering machine, as if it belonged to them; and also this year, nobody asked them to move away from there so that other people could use that machine as well.

Cristina P.

Yelp
I really recommend checking out the horses on the weekend. I never saw a horse race in person and didn't know what to expect. They offer racing Friday , Saturday, and Sunday and it starts around 12 30. I think it's a fun way to spend the day leisurely hanging out, having drinks, and watching the horses. The DJ plays a wide mix of music to keep everyone engaged. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Dawn W.

Yelp
I attended Pegasus Cup at Gulfstream park this past weekend and had a great time. There were several wager windows and concession stands available. They have a few different food options available. I had a teriyaki rice and shrimp bowl which was actually delicious. My only complaint would be upon arrival, no one, I mean absolutely no none could assist me or tell me where the area that I was ticketed for was located after asking at least six people I stumbled upon it myself. Overall good experience. I'll definitely return for another event there.

Judy S.

Yelp
The Sleepy Hollow festival was entertaining. It was a cute event. I started a little late. This was a good family-friendly event. It was more for small children. So many families here. They had a light show, entertainers, costume contest, food trucks, candy stations, and good music. It was a lot of fun for the kids.

Rikka B.

Yelp
Haven't been to this place since they renovated and built up around it. Casino wasn't as big as Hard Rock but definitely a nice casino. Very clean, machines well kept and easy to use. Several bars and food options around. Definitely had a great time

Sherry J.

Yelp
We needed to find somewhere to watch the Preakness during our drive from FLL to the Keys. It's a little strange to see a racetrack in a mall parking lot, but what a great track! Near the ocean with a great view of the buildings, beautiful weather, and lots of races to watch. The paddock is one of the best we've seen. This was a fun day.

Angel F.

Yelp
Great place to have fun all night or just chill out for a little while. Dress to impress

Carrie B.

Yelp
Great day at the races!! Shopping and food right near. Really loved planning the digital roulette table too

Robert N.

Yelp
Gulfstream Park is a great place to spend a day watching the races. They have a viewing area that they walk the horses for the crowd ahead of the race, and both electronic betting kiosks as well as in person betting booths. I did not go into the casino so I cannot speak to it

Lexi M.

Yelp
This whole area (Including the shopping) is such a great idea! The park itself is really nice for a day to watch the races and they have a casino that's two levels. It's not a big casino, but have a nice set of slots. The area where the horses are shown off before the race is such a cool design! The restaurants attached seemed like great options as well.

Kyle S.

Yelp
Not my favorite horse racing location but also not the worst. Not a fan of the layout but it does have a beautiful walking circle. Solid racing depending on the time of the year but also a lot of construction currently which dampens the setting

Gloria D.

Yelp
Nice event - Burgers and Beers. They had a wide selection of burgers and beers. My favorite burger was actually the lentil one. The Beer- Funky Buddha!

Christina W.

Yelp
Review from a non local! Unique village shopping area, horse track and casino. Visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was not busy at all and we were able to catch a horse race. Open air concept mall and sporting complex. I was actually quite surprised that Gulfstream Park was not packed full of people. It was free to walk into the shopping village and it led straight to the horse show plaza. Walking into the casino was very easy and my family of 6 walked right in without problems. Watching the horse races was entertaining and everyone there seemed to have a great time. The casino area where the bets were taken seemed like a different vibe than anywhere else. I was not used to the Smokey air smell and trash on the ground everywhere. The grassy courtyard was fun to bring the kids just outside of the casino. Looked like a great place for a mini concert to happen. Lots of water fountains and palm trees around. An arcade and Häagen-Dazs Ice cream shop were also the attraction for us. The restaurants all looked busy. I was surprised to see not a lot of people were actually shopping. Perhaps because it was a Sunday? Anyway. It made for a great experience for my family and it was unique. I would definitely return and try out one of the restaurants and maybe on a weekday to see if any of the shops open.

Yelp
Came to the San Gennaro Festival, Saturday, March 19, 2022. Food & Music international Festival and Carnival. Free private parking lot, entry $5 kids ages 3-12 and $12 adults can purchase either online or in person, all carnival games and wrist band for rides cash only, atms on site but the fee is $7, excellent singing, hot as all hell, come at night better, can bring your own water, waters selling 2 for $10 and they aren't cold, covered seating area with shade, wear sunblock and stay hydrated.

Glenn G.

Yelp
I never had any problems at this very nice race track and casino, I owned race horses, They were always fast to help me if I NEEDED HELP.

Shawnie P.

Yelp
This is a very cool open-air sporting complex in the Aventura, Florida area. They feature thoroughbred racing, casinos, shopping and dining. I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the horse racing. Beautiful and well-kept area but no matter what anyone tells me about how good the horses are treated, not sure if I believe it. I visited the area where they have the horse racing due to an older relative from out of town wanting to place bets. A few people in my party of 12 ordered food from the racing area concession stand and said it was the best hotdogs they've ever had... Wow who would've thought. We ate small snack foods to hold us over until the races were done so we could eat dinner at a nearby Yard House restaurant. Halfway through the races I grabbed my sister and we walked over to the container store which is huge. They have a big variety of organizing items as well as so many other things you wouldn't think the store carries. Great store. I do like the entertainment complex because there are several restaurants and shops to choose from that are beautiful. There's plenty of parking and the staff, no matter what business I went into, we're all friendly and helpful. After sitting in the area where the races were taken place we decided to eat dinner at Yardhouse which is steps away and in the same complex. So convenient. There is a good mix of people of all ages and backgrounds. It seemed like everyone was having a good time and I will go back again.

Fernando G.

Yelp
Great place to visit! There are plenty of food options, the opportunity to be close to the action, and several betting machines. I loved the spacious parking lot, and it's cost-free. Lots of fun - highly recommended!

Hannah M.

Yelp
The area is beautiful and Carousel Club is great. However, I've been to the casino numerous times and have not won once on the slots. Other casinos in South Florida at least play with you but this one feels like it straight takes or gives very low bonuses. Fun place to hang out at the club but wouldn't recommend gambling here.

Karla L.

Yelp
A fun place to visit, from the restaurants to the fun activities. The casino it's small but fun, we had a great time there, FYI they don't have a smoking section, heads up if you are a smoker. The carrousel area it's very fun, the music it's great, you can dance or just chill, they have small bites there also.

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
We came here to see the Christmas lights last year and it was one of the better shows we saw in Miami. There's a large tree and the display is choreographed to music during the 15 minute show. There's a casino, racetrack, and a large outdoor shopping mall with several restaurants. Parking is free and easy in the large parking garage.

2028 Giulia M.

Yelp
My family and I love horse racing and traveling around the US just to see each state'a track and must say, this has been one of the best yet! When we came in there was $15 valet which was option but so much more convenient. All of the staff was friendly. The layout for the clubhouse itself was also very classy and just gorgeous. I also really enjoyed how they had a live playing music throughout the park. I came on a Saturday in January and the sun was out, the music was pumping, and it was all just such a great vibe. Another great thing was that there bathrooms were actually very well kept unlike in some of the tracks we've been to. There are many options for food, but we went for the Maker's Mark Char #3. It was great. The services were so friendly catering to our needs. We got a couple of appetizers and salads and everything was absolutely delicious. The only bad thing is that the hotdog in a blanket came with nearly raw puff pastry which was a bit gross. While we sat and ate, we even got to watch the horses come out pre-race time with their handlers and while they were racing, we could watch them on the many nearby screens playing the races. The best part is how modern and well designed the park is. Even though there were a lot of people there when we went, everything is well to navigate and easy to understand. It is really a great day activity for anyone, not matter who!

Michel A.

Yelp
EV chargers are now only for patrons and employees, what a way to push customers away from shopping at the retail stores while their cars charge. There is a reason why the retail stores on this mall don't stay open for long, poor management and decision making.

Brad W.

Yelp
Free admission into the park is good. Once you enter, try to avoid all the degenerates in the park yelling in various languages at eachother. Betting is easy with people available at all times, even on a recent Sunday. We watched a few races, had a bottle of water, won 60 bucks and left. Too much time between horse races is my only issue.

Howard G.

Yelp
I came to casino today, on the second floor and there was hardly anyone playing. They don't have a good selection of machines and their player's club perks aren't "perky". Upon entering, the young security guard was seated at a podium, leaning forward, and looked like he wanted to be home sleeping. The main reason for the one star was the cleanliness of the men's room inside the casino, to the left as one enters. Papers on the ground, unflushed toilets, dirty sinks, etc. Absolutely disgusting. They spent a lot of money developing Gulfstream Park and it seems like a dud. I'll stick with the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and I don't recommend coming here unless the horses are running. It's fun to see...for about one hour.

Roel Kristy V.

Yelp
Totally surprised with this area! I did not expect a high-end shopping complex and such beautiful grounds. Two areas of a casino, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs was much more laid-back and quieter. Upstairs was rather lively and loud. Plenty of area to walk around in a feeding at either the track or on the simulcast area throughout the park. Really liked the area where they brought the horses out to see them before the races. Really up close and beautiful.

Kong L.

Yelp
What an amazing place to hang out and eat lunch/dinner. The view here is amazing! I'm surprised there are not a lot of people visiting this area. There's so much space to chill and relax. I just wished there were more food options to choose from.

Russell F.

Yelp
I expected that Gulfstream would have a world class slots parlor. Nah. It's one of the smallest slot houses I've ever been to with just an OK assortment of games with absolutely zero play value (the machines suck your money so fast, you get no action.). I would have to be extremely bored to ever return to this basically hole in the wall operation. The only pluses were that it was clean and comfortably air conditioned.

Pam D.

Yelp
Wanted to thank Amy from the players club for taking time to answer all my questions about points, comps, events. She is always smiling and always has time to talk. Gulfstream is one of the few places where you can bring your family for games music ice cream watch sports have dinner watch horseracing gamble at the casino. Parking is free there is security so you feel safe. Just a great place to go to have fun

Clarissa K.

Yelp
Gulfstream Park conveniently located off of Federal Highway in Hallandale. I remember when this new complex was built over 10 years ago. It was great to come here for all the different restaurants. Unfortunately over the years many of the original restaurants have come and gone. Present day I like coming here for Christine Lee's, Pottery Barn, William & Sonoma, The Container Store and lastly and most importantly they hosted the South Beach Food & Wine Event this past year. I was lucky enough to get tickets through Yelp. The Event held here was the first but hopefully not the last. Gulfstream was the perfect venue plenty of parking and a gorgeous back drop around the ginormous Pegasus statue that came all the way from China. This would be a great place to hold any sort of outside event and had covered seating which was great. Beautiful views of the racetrack and can accommodate lots of people. Definitely look forward to coming back here again and again.

Alexi Y.

Yelp
Complex is free to enter and watch the horse races. There are casino areas. There are plenty of screens showing various races to bet on. The horses are paraded around the center courtyard before patrons place their bets. Several restaurants in the plaza for food and drinks. Interesting afternoon activity and cool venue to bring visiting guests.

Dominic L.

Yelp
This is a very filthy casino/ track bathrooms are disgusting and the crowd is super.Beware that some places like the pastry is art will include a 20% tip without telling you a tip is included and even for to go orders. The casino will have kids running around wild. I highly recommend skipping this casino. There are others available in the area.

Vicki S.

Yelp
This review is specifically for the concert venue inside Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino called the Sport of Kings room. I attended the Pure Prairie League and Firefall concert there and couldn't find anything on it so I'm hoping this will help others in the future... The Sport of Kings room is indoors on the second floor at the top of the double escalators just South of the huge main parking lot. This lot seems to have golf cart shuttles if you park far away but it's no big deal even without a shuttle. Just go up the escalator, turn left and look for the entrance and box office windows on your left. The room itself is lovely, and holds up to, maybe, 500? people, in a way I would call a Vegas-like experience. The event I attended had numerous types of seating including an area of 4 person tables in front of the stage which had a server for cocktails and snacks, a stage level seating area at stage end, and more seating and standing areas behind with a couple of full service bars and large bathrooms right at the door. Acoustics are good, the space is clean and well laid out and ticket prices for the event I attended were reasonable (about $130 for two tickets including eventbrite fees) Drink prices are a bit on the strong side, I think beers were $9 and drinks $12 and they were in a small plastic cup. Gratuity was automatically added and it's easy to double tip, it wasn't anywhere I could see it on the check, I had to ask. I would have missed it but the other couple at our table was nice enough to give me a heads up. I thought the whole experience was great as a whole, good music and it never ever felt like a cattle call like many typical music venues. Also people could come up front and dance, which the bands loved. It's very easy to interact with the acts, they were into it and the crowd was well behaved. One person had a photo with the band taken when she was 15 (probably 30 years ago) which she showed them and they posed with her for a new one. Also the room works well for crowd sing alongs of which there were many. Dress/attire was all over the map so wear what you want but the room itself is kept cold (the band came onstage and commented it was cold like a meat locker). I'd say bring a jacket. It's easy, even from the front seats to get up and get drinks or whatever you want, seats are spaced far enough apart to just walk by. And at the end of the night both bands came out and posed for photos and offered autographs at the band merchandise tables near the bars, which was really cool and unexpected. I gave it five stars. I'd have given it more if I could have, it's pretty perfect

Yelp
We had a BLAST coming here on Saturday for the Taste of the Track event, Beers, Bourbon, and BBQ! This was my first time at one of these events, so I didn't know what to expect. We came for my mother's birthday, and it was well worth the $30 ticket. The event is hosted in The Flamingo Room on the third floor. The room overlooks the track, where multiple horse races were held that day. Upon arrival, our tickets were taken and each attendee was given a $2.00 betting voucher and a race booklet. I have never been to a horse race before, and it was super exciting to partake and cheer on the horses. The bbq food was rather tasty as well. They had about a dozen or so stations serving bite size options ranging from macaroni and cheese balls, chicken wings, brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, fried chicken sandwiches, etc. The dessert table was also amazing, with the bourbon brownies being my favorite. The beer and bourbon options were even more expansive. I don't do bourbon, but my boyfriend and brother really enjoyed their tastings. I stuck with the beer, and got to try out some great brews from local breweries. You could also order a drink from the bar if beer and bourbon weren't for you. The event ran from 1:00-4:00pm, but we were told in advance to come early as there is not a lot of seating. This was 394929191x true. We got there around 12:30, and all of the tables were already gone, with most of them actually being reserved. This was a disappoint to say the least. We ended up getting lucky and grabbing a cocktail table that we were able to stand at for the duration. We left the event and wandered down to the actual seats at the track. We enjoyed a few races in the stand, and had so much fun! Afterwards, we walked around the shops and even grabbed a bite to eat for dinner. It was an eventful day!

Sierra T.

Yelp
The positive: they get the horses on the track on time. Bathrooms are aplenty. Fantastic architecture (you can't enjoy). The seats we payed for were good but we couldn't see the horses. Nobody could see the horses (see photo in review) The rest of the experience: We talked to 5 people to get in the track and 4/5 gave us wrong directions. Took us 1 hour to get to the track. Staff must be getting terribly underplayed to be this ignorant and unconcerned with giving correct advice. This place is sketchy I am so confused as to how it exists, it is a bedlam of mediocrity. The lady we bought out tickets from "couldn't make change" so we had to let her keep our large bills. This is her job, mind you, so it's bizarre she didn't have change. Let's not even repeat that lie, she scammed us $6 per person and lied. We ran into very few nice, polite people. It felt hostile like we were first timers in New York trying to figure out how to use the subway system.Try to interact with them as least as possible. We were told we could enter for free and then the we told we could not, so many contradiction it felt like we were getting hazed. Oh and We tipped everyone we talked to. Terribly run place it's like they're try to ruin the horse racing experience. It's more of a shopping promenade with questionable food than a racetrack with a famous statue (we tried to see the statue and we couldn't go because of some silly looking food party going on, we had to have tickets for that bs to see the statue). They are not classy about trying to get as much money out of you for the most minimal of facilities and crumbiest of service. We were sent to so many dead ends. By the time we got to our seat I was pissed. The old bet lady was upset we placed our bets with her so we would walk all the way into 10 palms every race we bet. You could not see the horses or the odds 90% of the time because their big screen is broken and the horses start all the way at the other end of the track there is no seating. You want food? Get ready to forage like our caveman ancestors. Get reservations at 10 palms or you can't go there. We wanted some food and of course we were misdirected multiple times only to find a burger place that gives you bad gas but made good fries. The casino is puny and I was not tempted to play. Just going to Gulfstream has enough risks I don't need to play slots for that feeling of losing money. My only explanation for this track having the staff this awful and unhappy and is that they aren't getting paid well. This place is a hell of a mess and It's hard to have a good time here. They try to blame it on COVID, but it's obviously because of bad management. COVID didn't make people incompetent and incapable of customer service. COVID did not make technology stop working. This place has lovely buildings and horse racing, but how it operates is devastating. Gulfstream is lucky old, rich people don't read Yelp reviews.

Yelp
We saw the Orleans concert at the Sport of Kings Theater. What a Great venue! We bought bar seats and Amy took excellent care of us! We had some food from the counter and ice cold beer throughout the show. We even got to meet the band afterward! They even signed my daughter's concert shirt. A really great night!!!

Yelp
Leaving this review solely for Nando, the bartender! He was so sweet and fun -- made great drinks and was very efficient in his job. When we come back to visit, I hope to see him! Thank you, Nando!

Yelp
This place is in deep need for a makeover. There aren't any restaurants or shops anymore. At least no stores any people actually shop in. Thank god for a few major furniture anchor stores or no one would even drive in this place.

Yelp
Every year this place just gets worse. Come on 12/4/2021 for Championship Meet and they dont have the infield tote board installed, no TVs at The Breezeway and no sound of the race call at the bar either. Was told by an employee that the tote board has been like that for months. How do you expect people to watch the races outside when you can't even see the horses until they pass the finish line. Can't keep treating your customers like this or it won't be long before people stop coming. So you took down a working tote board prior to receiving the new tote board? What did you do with it? Throw it in the garbage? Why not put back up the old tote board until the new one arrives? If you purchased a new tote board from an American company, like Yesco, you wouldn't have supply chain problems. Yesco is a top sign company based in Las Vegas with locations all over the US. Four are located in Florida alone. In the 4 months the the tote has been down they could have WALKED the new tote to the racetrack. Two weeks into a so called "Championship Meet" and you still can't see the odds or the race if you sit outside by the rail. Total disgrace and lack of concern for your customers, who without, you would be out of business.

Yelp
We needed something to do so we decided to visit Gulfstream Park and watch some races. It wasn't too busy and we were able to stand right up against the railing to watch. What gorgeous animals these race horses are! So well cared for too! It was fun to watch the different races - different tracks (outside dirt track, inside grass). I'm not much of a gambler... our friend came out $90 ahead, and I think we broke even..? There's also the huge Pegasus statue right outside the track. It's amazing... 2nd tallest statue in the US next to the Statue of Liberty. Plenty of shops here too if you're not into racing (let the hubby do that and you can shop!). Plenty of restaurants. We ate at the Yardhouse and it was excellent! I'll put that in a separate review! Make this a stop on your vacation!

Yelp
Had the loveliest time at gulfstream last wknd watching the Florida derby! It was the perfect sunny day for races and cold beverages! I have been to gulfstream several times and have always enjoyed my visits. Each time actually gets better! From finding new dining spots to a fun shopping adventure! It's just a beautiful place to spend the day. They basically provide activities and options for everyone, including children, (bowling alley and arcade) In addition to it already being fabulous they added a covered lounge area next to the track with a full bar and tons of comfortable seating! Most definitely one of my favorite places to enjoy on a gorgeous day!
