Making Easter Fun for Everyone!

"Surrounded by nothing but fields and livestock is this dog-friendly pub with shabby-chic décor, blazing fires and a relaxed, cosy feel. Menus rely on regional and foraged produce and the wine list offers some interesting choices by the glass." - The MICHELIN Guide Nordic Editorial Team

This point one of my favorite places and my high recommendation. I also visited other places but couldn't find more beautiful points. The footpath is well-organised so even kids can easily walk. but Be carefull about edge cliff if you try to climb up the cliff.

Gurnard's Head is a striking headland located along the rugged coastline of West Cornwall in England. It is situated near the village of Zennor, about 3 miles northeast of St. Ives. This headland is known for its dramatic cliffs, wild moorland, and stunning sea views. In terms of history, Gurnard's Head has been inhabited and visited by humans for millennia. The headland's prominent location along the coast made it an important landmark and possibly a defensive site in ancient times. The area around Gurnard's Head is rich in archaeological remains, including evidence of prehistoric settlements and burial sites, reflecting its significance over the ages. One of the notable myths associated with Gurnard's Head is related to the legend of the "Zennor Mermaid." According to local folklore, a beautiful mermaid was said to have appeared at the nearby Zennor Cove. This mermaid, named Morveren, was captivated by the singing of a local chorister, Matthew Trewhella, in the church of St. Senara in Zennor. Morveren fell in love with Matthew and enticed him to follow her into the sea, where they disappeared together. It's said that Morveren's ghost still lingers around Gurnard's Head, keeping watch over the coastline. Today, Gurnard's Head is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts, offering stunning coastal walks along the South West Coast Path. The headland is also near the Gurnard's Head Inn, a historic pub known for its warm hospitality and delicious local cuisine, making it a great stop for visitors exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall. Please make sure you research the weather before your walk - always wear suitable footwear for rugged oaths and make sure you take food and water. Enjoy 😊

Parked in The Gurnards head pub carpark, went for a fantastic walk down to the Gurnards head point for an hour or so. Fantastic coastline views from on the head. Back to the pub for a very well presented and tasty lunch. Recommend the pub!

A spectacular walk along the coastal path here from Treen. The views are breathtaking. Look out for seals as you trek along the cliff-edge path.
