The 38 Best Restaurants in Mumbai, India - Eater

"Guru Kripa is a textbook restaurant designed to host large groups of joint families. There’s something for everyone: chaat, a full thali meal, sweets, milkshakes, and entrees. Order samosas, vegetable sandwiches topped with grated cheese, dal pakwan, and any dessert that piques your fancy (the jalebis and fruit custard are perfect starting points, in case you’re overwhelmed)." - Sumedh Natu

Google
I would have easily given 5 stars, but recently the overall taste seems to have gone slightly down compared to what it used to be. Still, the samosa with chutney and chole remains their signature and is absolutely worth trying — crisp, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. The gulab jamun is also soft, rich, and makes a great finish to the meal. They have a wide variety of chaats, North Indian snacks, sweets, and quick bites — most items are decent in quality and value for money. Service is fast, and this place continues to be a popular local landmark with a loyal fan following over the years. Only minor downsides are the slightly toned-down spice and taste recently, limited seating comfort, and parking challenges due to the busy area. Overall, still one of the must-try classic spots in Mumbai for samosa-chole lovers — just wish they bring back their old flavour punch!

Gurukripa truly lives up to its name when it comes to taste. Their samosas are absolutely legendary — crispy outside, perfectly spiced inside. The place stays crowded for a reason! Other dishes like chole, pav bhaji, and kachori also hit the right notes. A must-visit if you love proper Indian street-style flavours.

The place used to be iconic. But after split between owners, something has gone wrong. We had gone laat night with family and the food has degraded. Chole bhature had more oil then usual. They gave Rava Dosa half cooked in a hurry and there wasn't that much of crowd. Also in the end we ordered Rasgulla, it seems they were from previous day. Never expected this kind of service from the place. We have spent our whole college life eating there. But this came as a surprise to all of us.

Gurukripa, Sion is a well-known fast food joint and restaurant that serves delicious snacks and meals. The food quality and taste are consistently good, especially the chole samosa and other North Indian dishes. However, hygiene could be improved as the place tends to get crowded and a bit messy during rush hours. Connectivity and parking around the area are average but manageable. Overall, a classic spot for tasty comfort food if you don’t mind the rush.

It used to be a legendary restaurant but with time its quality has gone down a lot. You can find the same or better taste of Samsoa, Chole bhature, pav bhaji at your nearby restaurant. Two stars is only for their gajar halwa and service

Best known for its A1 veg samosas, both jain and regular. Same taste since last over 50 plus years, same quality and most reasonable prices. It's chhole given with samosas and even chuttney are superb. Daal pakwan in morning times.

Having the food here feels nostalgic and almost same taste even though visiting after many years while relishing Dal Pakwan, Chole Pattice and a perfect size glass of creamy Sweet Lassi Keep it up
