Gust Gallucci’s Italian Foods is unbeatable for authentic Italian flavors! They have the best mortadella I’ve ever had, and their pizza square slices for just $3.50 are a steal—crispy, cheesy, and so satisfying. The store is packed with quality Italian products, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. A Cleveland classic worth visiting every time!

Google
Pizza dough balls are amazing. They need 2hrs to defrost and in my 900 degree oven cook in 60sec. The dough is light and will bubble in the heat within seconds- just like a restaurant pizza.

Google
Great spot to pick up prepared foods or ingredients to prepare your own Italian cuisine. Check out the hot food counter to pick up meals to go including salad, pizza by the slice, and many more hot food options- see menu in pics. They also offer frozen prepared meals. The deli has a large range of meats and cheeses including their sweet and hot sausage which I purchase on occasion. The patio is an option for enjoying lunch here outside on nice weather days, otherwise, you can pick it up to go. I tried two different types of pizza today, which were good. Plentiful free parking is available in lots adjacent to building.

Just stopped in yesterday (July 8) after probably almost 10 years! It did not disappoint. My husband and I got the hot steak sandwich, the best taste in a while. Got a cold Italian hoagie which I am currently enjoying as I type this. Again, very tasty. All the staff is wonderful as usual. Got a few other things as well. We definitely will be back and we won't wait another 10 years this time!!

Google
We loved this store. Everything was so fresh and they had a very wide variety of things. It was well worth the hour's drive up to the shop. We highly recommend this place for authentic Italian food and drink.

Google
This Italian store is a true gem, offering an outstanding selection of wines alongside their delicious cheeses and salamis. Their wine collection features bottles you won't easily find elsewhere, making it the perfect place for both casual drinkers and connoisseurs. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to create an authentic and delicious Italian feast at home.

Super friendly service - amazing selection of meats, cheeses, pastas, wines, bakery items… this list goes on! A true Italian grocery in midtown… worth the drive! We enjoyed take out and sat on the picnic tables outside on a perfect CLE summer day.

Google
A local favorite! Large selection of Italian foods, a deli, bakery. At lunch during the week scrumptious hot selections are available to take out - pasta dinners, pizza, subs. Very popular and lines form it is all so good! You can also take out their homemade lasagna, rigatoni etc frozen to enjoy later.

Yelp
Okay, so admittedly, I am 0.000% Italian but I did study abroad in Italy for an entire summer in 2015 (#humblebrag?) so I have been to my fair share of Italian grocery stores and am fond of paprika Pringles and other rare treats I can't get in the USA, but I did feel like something was missing from this Italian shop in the Hough neighborhood of Cleveland. Granted, this place isn't very large so it can't have everything but it still seemed like 50% of the stuff there was just American stuff. Oh well! They have a nice selection of Gallucci branded goods like pasta sauces and even cater to restaurants prepared foods like meatballs and eggplant cutlets. The spice section is nicely priced too. During my first visit to Gallucci, I bought some dried cilantro ($1.44) and minced garlic ($4) as well as a small orange flavored almond nougat candy that I impulsively bought for about 0.50 and then immediately regretted not buying more! The minced garlic unfortunately got all in between my teeth when I used it on a dish the next day. Sadly, I was looking for more of a snack collection than they had here. Or even some frozen desserts like gelato or panetone or those delightfully sinful Mulino Bianco Galleti cookies I dream of eating again. Most of what is here is good for making homemade pizzas and sandwiches. That's pretty cool although it was interesting that they closed up the deli counters way before their 6pm closing time when I stopped by a couple of days ago. A muffaletta sandwich sounded good at the moment haha! If I am ever in the area again, I would like to try something from the deli counter and pick up a sauce or two!

Yelp
We stopped at Gallucci's the Saturday before Thanksgiving and I was surprised I could get a parking spot. It is usually very busy. For me Gallucci's is the place to go for all Italian foods. They have a huge assortment of spices, pastas and ready made foods. Let's not forget the bakery. Gallucci's is a Cleveland institution.

Yelp
Delicious! Got a premade margarita pizza and it amazingggg. Also got couscous salad and chocolate peanut caramel clusters! Staff was very nice and helpful! There was a wide variety of available food to purchase like dough, pasta dough to make your own ravioli, and more! Was recommended this place by my friend's dad who has been coming here since 1993!
google avatar

Josh N.

Yelp
Foods always great from here for lunch, also grabbed something sweet to eat later for dessert. Service is typical of an italian deli. Ambience is the same of an italian deli. Very efficient.

Yelp
Love this place. They're always stocked with solid traditional Italian products. Olive selections are crazy. Fresh loafs of bread daily (get em early)! The sammys are fantastic here. Any of them really, take your pick. Writing this review, I gotta get my butt back out there, been a while.

Yelp
Locals at the West Side Market, alerted me to this Italian gem of a market. I'm not Italian, but did enjoy the variety of cheeses, meats, imported treats and their homemade bakery. My main reason for checking this place out was to find Taralluci, for my boyfriends birthday. Which I lucked out, and ended up buying the right ones. Also bought, a few other items as well orange pizzelles ,import crackers and cheese. Some prices were average, well others were a bit steep. Overall pleasant shopping experience this past Saturday December 3, 2022. Friendly, helpful staff.

Yelp
Recently got some sheet pizza. Really, Gallucci's...? It was like school cafeteria pizza. I know you all came do better than that! It looked disgusting and tasted just about as bad. The only reason I rated the review a 2 was because most of their other food isn't anywhere near this bad.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
Famous and classic!! They are not cheap but you'll get high quality every time! I am Italian and have been coming here for decades !!! Well worth the trip to the busy Euclid drive area!!!
google avatar

Mark N.

Yelp
Excellent selection, fresh ingredients, courteous service. Like being in Italy. The smells are wonderful and just a few sample tastes can be like a meal!

Yelp
First day in town while staying for treatment at Cleveland Clinic and saw this local Italian grocer near the hotel. Of course had to walk over and get some goodies. I arrived too late for the hot bar, but I did get some cookies for the week and a cannoli for dessert that night. Everything was delicious, and I was excited to find this place. I will make sure I come earlier in the day next time and bring a shopping bag with when I return in a couple of months. Next time I will plan better.

Yelp
Great Italian grocery store with so many great products, pre made foods, and bakery. Love Mama Gallucci's spaghetti sauce, obviously great with pasta which they have a great selection of dry pasta and homemade fresh pasta. Tons of spices and olive oils, just so many great products for good prices in an awesome store ran by great people. Love shopping here.
google avatar

Cecilia M.

Yelp
First time visiting and I felt welcomed. The employees were all so very nice, did not rush and helped with our deli order. They had Italian wines on sale, cheeses and a plethora of spices. It was so nice to see gnocchi as well as other types of Italian items pre-made.
google avatar

Nikki K.

Yelp
Dang! This market is magical! Heard about their meatballs from a local CLE foodies group and knew I had to give em a try. WOW! I wasn't sure what to expect because the balls are frozen, and there's weren't suggestions on the package how to reheat. Decided to pop em in the oven at 350° for 20 min and it was perfect! They are mouthwatering in flavor and tender and juicy in texture! Bought the frozen spaghetti pasta and fresh house spaghetti sauce, cooked everything up, and served with a nice Italian red wine we selected. Everything was so good!!!! I definitely want to keep a bag of meatballs in the freezer as a go-to staple for quick weekday dinners.

Janet W.

Yelp
If you want authentic Italian food this is the place. Generous portions and fair prices. Always a great experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Gallucci's is the best Italian grocery store in Cleveland! Their bakery is fabulous!!! They also have a excellent ready made food section. On this particular trip we got Italian sandwiches, Italian Anise cookies, and wine. They also have a wonderful deli, grocery section, frozen foods. And a huge spice section. You could easily spend an hour just browsing! A definite foodie destination!
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
I had one of their cannoli's for the first time, I'm not sure how it took me so long to try them! Best I've had since my uncle would make them when I was a kid.
google avatar

Jacqueline P.

Yelp
Nope, never been... Yep, will return again and again! Walking with my coworker, she suggested we grab some sammiches or lasagna! Where, I asked? Never heard of it... But everyone else has! Folks sitting on the makeshift patio on Euclid Ave, hustling to place orders, sniffing the sweetness at the bakery, looming around the wines searching for the perfect pairing to their authentic Italian lunch or Dinner. The ideal spot to shop for your summer garden party or family dinner. Seafood plenty, cheeses, sauces, olive and antipasto bar! But my takeaway, is the fresh Muffaletta Melt!!!! 1/2 now and 1/2 for later!!! The salami, ham and mortadella, married with swiss and provolone cheese and salty olive tapanade to bring it all together in the heated press!!! My taste buds are ecstatic!!! Whoa, as i was leaving, Chef Chuck Masterpaul from Noggins in Shaker Hts was on the register... He makes his Cashins hot chicken salad! "I'm dead"

Erin W.

Yelp
Food and service is always nice. It's always welcoming inside in appearance. My favorite is the lasagna.
google avatar

Yelp
BEST PLACE IN CLEVELAND! This is a must go! Through work we've gotten Galluccis catered multiple times and they are always so easy to work with. Pizzas, Dinners, Sandwiches, etc. are all great. The olive bar is out of this world, grilled olives which are seasonal are to die for. Don't miss out on this Cleveland Gem!

Lynne S.

Yelp
This business is family owned and has been around for years. Great place to purchase spices in bulk which makes it a wonderful place for cooks. The deli counter has a nice selection and they have hot prepared items in the back. Let's not forget the bakery and items needed to make your own pizza. The employees are friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking available.
google avatar

Michelle O.

Yelp
If you are looking for great Italian meats, cheeses, bread, cookies and other imported goodies you found it here! But the majority is now local and the bakery is homemade! Prices are about average, friendly informative service, and lots of things to try. Their pizza, subs are a lunch time staple. Can't go wrong! It's a bit of a hike downtown but worth it. They also have spices in bulk that's really great! Love this place.
google avatar

Judi M.

Yelp
Gallucci's never disappoints. The quality and tastiness of the prepared foods, the grocery items and the customer service are outstanding. They really are a Cleveland treasure. My husband loves their lasagna and subs. I am not a meat eater, but love eggplant parmesan and plain or veggie pizza. I get cookies or candies to take back and share with the office. Also, the vibe is so cool. The customers are usually smiling and friendly just like Gallucci's employees.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
This place really Knows what they are talking about with meats and cheeses. It's been around since 1912 and the Standard is on point and old school all the way. They have pasta, tomato sauces, olives, cheeses, wines, spices and many other thing an Italian market would have! There is plenty of parking, the cashier lines are short and costumer service! Come check out this one of a kind market in Cleveland!

Jeffrey N.

Yelp
Lunch line from 11a-2p is so good and you get a lot for your money . They have usually about 10 different food options to choose from. Everything is authentic.

Ivonne V.

Yelp
So disappointing an Italian shop with bad, frozen tiramisu. Runny frosting once started defrosting. Not your traditional tiramisu. the sponge cake at the bottom had barely any coffee covering it. $ 3.99 per piece of "tiramisu". 6 dollars for the strawberry cheesecake with food coloring and no strawberry flavor. One wilted old strawberry on top extremely dry. Mediocre, soggy, cold pizza $4.50 per slice.

Patrick D.

Yelp
We love going to Gallucci's! This is the second party we let them prepare a deli tray for us and it was great. Thanks for preparation and attention to to detail.
google avatar

Kathleen S.

Yelp
I LOVE Gallucci's. Every time my boyfriend and I visit cleveland, we always have to make a pitstop for their lunch specials and peruse for goodies especially garlic stuffed olives. They have everything for your Italian cooking needs from fresh pasta, oils, herbs, dressings, cheese, wine, and fresh Italian sweets such as cannoli and tiramisu! That alone is just a fraction of what they actually offer. Before COVID, I always got their fresh pasta and meatballs that came with a side of bread and salad. Literally the best homemade meal that only cost $7 for a big portion! This time around, and I am not sure if it's because we came on a weekend, they had much more limited options. My boyfriend got their eggplant parm sandwich which was really good when I had a bite. A few years ago we got a tray of fresh cavatelli with sauce to-go for a family party. I remember picking on it throughout the day; it was delicious. Looking forward to coming back here on our next trip to Cleveland! The staff here is always so friendly and helpful.

Yelp
One of the best Italian spots in Cleveland! Everything from their market to their wine selection to their lunch specials are off the charts. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The lunch specials are worth every penny and the catering is great for any occasion. The food is beyond fresh and full of flavor. If you're looking for great Italian food I would recommend trying here. Get food to go or dine in. The lines are never long but expect some delays during the lunch rush.
google avatar

Scott D.

Yelp
Had an Italian beef from Gallucci's, it was fabulous. This was my first time, my dad said we need to go there to get their famous Shadone, an Italian Easter pie. I ended up with some fresh mozzarella, smoked Gouda cheeses and deli meats, Tony Bologna's smoked bologna, Soppresata, salami, and a jar of Mama Gallucci's pasta sauce.
google avatar

Shawn C.

Yelp
Always an amazing experience, this supermarket/eatery is a grab and go food establishment, with catering that is the best Italian catering in cleveland. The grocery area is an Italian super market that could be Transported straight out of Italy. The food service is amazing from the sandwich of the day deal that includes chips and a coke product to the catering, just be ready to order when u are up :). Today we had catering with stuffed shells, lasagna and salad. All of the food was amazing. My fave is the lasagna in the office it is 50/500 lasagna and stuffed shells. I say order both! And have enough Food for two days you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Pierre L.

Yelp
Man food was amazing you can tell that the food it's home made, even tho you will have it in less then 10 minutes. You will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Parker W.

Yelp
I love Italian food although going out to Italian restaurants is a costly endeavor. Gallucci's is a great place to go for an Italian meal at 1/3 the cost! They have wonderful prepared foods and a friendly deli staff that can recommend the best imported Italian meats they have at the present time. Gallucci's rules!
google avatar

Carole R.

Yelp
This is right up your street. Use Gallucci products as needed. ASSIAGO CHEESE ITALIAN SAUSAGE STRATA www.melissasouthernstylekitchen.com

Jarrett W.

Yelp
Best people and wonderful food. This landmark is a must try for lunch!! Close your eyes an order. Tops in Cleveland.
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
It's just like mama made it. If you're looking for authentic Italian, this is the place to be. They have a few grocery aisles with specialty Italian canned foods and treats and also a good selection of wine. They also have a good selection of seafood needed to make traditional meals that you won't find just anywhere. And they have fresh pasta and their canned sauce if you want to cheat and have a "kind of" home cooked meal. Their deli counter has all the specialties. Whether you're looking for prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, guanciale, or anything else you may need for an authentic recipe. It also has ample parking.

Robert S.

Yelp
Good selection of Italiano Imports was looking forward to a good Sangweech but they closed the deli at 2 get there early
google avatar

Fran B.

Yelp
I went here today not knowing what to expect after isolating for a long time. There are sanitizing wipes at the front door. There is a plastic shield at check out to protect cashier and customer. Everyone was social distancing at about 6 to 8 feet apart. Everyone was respectful of others. They still offer all the best Italian products and everything was top shelf.
google avatar

Amelia A.

Yelp
We were so pleased to have a nearby market within walking distance of our hotel (Tru). They have a large variety of grocery items and deli foods, breads and baked goods. My husband loved his pepperoni loaf and we tried the chocolate cake and the white cake. They were scrumptious. A little pricy for one slice, but we were splurging. Come check them out!
google avatar

Fabienne P.

Yelp
Very bad prepared foods, well it is Italian-American, which has very little to do with real Italian prepared foods, but it depends on what one's expectations, I guess. Less of the truly Italian favorites through the years (such as bitter almond macarons, certain cheeses, the quality of the mozzarella di buffala has gone down, and sopressatas, unpitted olives, coffee, Italian chocolates for the holidays are more scarse) but still a good choice of prociuttos and a few specialty items such as il famoso parmigiano al latte di vacche rosse ("Solo do bruna"). Some of the staff at the deli counter is curt--fine, they are busy. Some are snarky and borderline rude that is, until your husband shows up and takes over... Well, well, surprise, surprise... These people should remember that there are not too many items in their store that could not be purchased somewhere else in town. The deli wrapping in plastic zipper bags is hard to circumvent--how about plain paper, compostable bags or my own glass containers? I would have given a 4 star rating if the deli staff had been less gratuitously rude and acted less bothered about placing your purchases in the clean clear glass containers brought specifically to reduce waste. The manager, to whom I directly spoke about it, is all for it and the staff will do it when he is around. Otherwise, they show how bothered they are about it, which lead me to purchase certain items elsewhere. Oh well, it is a good reason to see what's around, although I am usually a very faithful repeat customer and would have liked to remain so for this local favorite.
google avatar

Tyson T.

Yelp
I love my trips to Galluccis. The main reason I go down there is to buy all of the spices I need to make my dry rubs for BBQ. Prices are so low compared to anywhere else. Worth the trip all by itself. Well...even though that is my main reason to go down there, I quickly realized how much more Galluccis really has to offer. Prepared foods and sandwiches are outstanding. Quality ingredients and plenty of food per serving. Pepperoni bread is something you can't pass up. Always the best when you walk in and it is fresh out of the oven. And then there are the desserts. Oh my! Delicious. Huge slices of cake for 5 bucks. Cream puffs, cannolis, and others all call your name. A must stop for many reasons.

Candy S.

Yelp
Their eggplant is the best I've ever had in my life. The people taking orders and fixing the food for take out were crabby, rude and wanted you to move along before finishing ordering. I tipped the guy making my order $10.00 and he barely acknowledged it. The food is good enough to ignore this and go back, but it was my 2nd time ordering take out and those people were just as rude then.
google avatar

Jerry M.

Yelp
Magnificent neighborhood Italian grocery. They have everything from pasta to pastry. There is a hot counter where you can get sub sandwiches, pizza and pastas. There is an olive bar, a deli and a cheese counter. I think I heard angels sing when i walked in the door. We had a eggplant parm sandwich. A vegan veggie sandwich they made special for me. Some pasta with marina sauce and some Sicilian pizza. Prices are very reasonable too. Super friendly staff too. Double super highly recommend.
google avatar

Dave P.

Yelp
The best deli counter in Cleveland full of fabulous cheeses and specialty meats. The prepared foods are just the ticket for lunch. Never left there without a pepperoni roll. Great selection of pasta and olive oils. At the deli counter ask for a sample. Just a great place.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
A Cleveland landmark. Great food at reasonable prices. Their spice aisle is very underrated and their prices are very low for their spices. Huge wine and cheese selection also.
google avatar

Paul F.

Yelp
Great for lunch and within walking distance of where I'm working. I'm partial to their thin crust pizza. This is also a nice neighborhood grocery store to stock up on Italian food items. Naturally there is a huge volume and variety of bread and bakery items, and rows of wine, too. Gets pretty packed at noon, but everyone is courteous, and there is outside seating to eat in nice weather as well.
google avatar

Deb C.

Yelp
First time I visited this store today and I was so impressed! We moved from Milwaukee where we had Glorioso's Italian market and I thought it could never be replaced but Galuccis is even better!! Of course they have pizza dough, a fabulous pizza sauce plus all the fixings but they also have a bakery, deli, pizza and an olive bar!! AND... there wine selection is great. So I left very happy today feeling more at home in our new city of Cleveland!

Gina R.

Yelp
The very best authentic Italian specialty store. Great take away food and ingredients to make a real Italian meal.
google avatar

Sydney G.

Yelp
The highlight of my trip every time I come to Cleveland. I love their meats and cheeses (hard salami, sopressata, fresh mozzarella), and that garlic loaf and italian bread can't be beat. Their baked goods are outstanding: angel wings, macarons, cookies, and of course, cannoli. So yummy. The actual grocery section is awesome because you can get imported goods at super cheap prices (especially the spices. Virtually unheard of in Charleston. I stock up every time I go!). My mom loves their frozen pasta and italian wedding meatballs, and always gets a bunch of that to cook throughout the year. It makes me sad that I only go here once a year. PLEASE COME TO SC!!
