Where to Eat the Best Pizza in Italy

"I was impressed by Massimiliano Prete's focus on differentiating doughs as much as toppings: pizzas like the Burrata and Ibérico Ham (and shown Croccante Caprino) form part of tasting itineraries across various styles, with predominantly local, high-quality ingredients such as Castelmagno and burrata from Gioia Colle highlighting his humble yet brilliant approach." - Food & Wine Editors

This place is renowned for the variety of doughs it uses. Pizza is also served in multiple formats: slices, whole pizzas, etc. Gusto Divino is worth several trips: not the cheapest pizza in Saluzzo, but maybe the most interesting. Mine was a tad under seasoned—easily fixed—but the dough was indeed seasoned. They never did bring us water, but we did not ask a second time: perhaps we were unclear.

Gorgeous pizza with a variety of different bases. I had a beautifully seasoned leek and fior di latte pizza, and my husband had a blander vegetariana on a delicious fermented dark dough. Chic interior and warm service.

We tried the "tasting menu" of three different kinds of pizza. Afterwards you can choose whatever you liked best to continue your meal... Delicious!
