Atlanta Restaurants: Farm Burger Reopens at Midtown Whole Foods and Chef Panos Karatassos Launches Ghost Kitchen Lamb Shack From Greek Restaurant Kyma | Eater Atlanta

"A Downtown location of Atlanta-based salad, wrap, and grain-bowl chain Gusto will open this fall at the corner of Park Place and Edgewood Avenue in the former Kung Fu Tea space, situated between the Five Points and Peachtree Center MARTA stations and within walking distance of Georgia State University. Owner Nate Hybl expects delivery to be a large part of the Downtown location’s business; Hybl also announced an East Cobb location opening this summer and noted the Downtown spot will join the chain’s other locations, including those with drive-thrus like Chamblee." - Beth McKibben

My half and half bowl had pecans when I did NOT order the pecan curry special. I am allergic and this was a dangerous surprise. I have checked several menus and have never had pecans in my bowl prior. Please be careful with the bowls. Or perhaps be more explicit? To add, I did not get the bag of chips that typically come with the purchase. I apologize if these are official changes your establishment is employing and I understand cause the staff looked tired and distracted. However, please improve for the safety of your customers. I still hope to come again but seriously… (Edit: my allergy is not severe so I still ate what I could. It would have been nice to eat everything so I could get through the day [and get my money’s worth -food is too expensive to waste!])

The online order process at 2 Park Place location leaves a lot to be desired. 1. I made a pick up order 1 hr before and when I arrived at the scheduled pick up time and waited 10 min it was not ready. I had to ask to return to pick up my order. I called to get my order remade as advised when I could come back to pick it up. I was advised when I walked in that one of the meat item types was no longer available and the store had run out so they would need to substitute it on the remake and I agreed. Upon receiving the remake order it had items that I asked not to be placed on my order and it had to be remade again. The presentation of the remake as pictured below was thrown together. Highly disappointed in the overall quality of the service.

Super delicious and affordable. Fun choice of flavours and the free sweet potato crisps are fab. A refreshing healthy option in the downtown!

I prefer this location, it’s amazing for anyone that’s living downtown. There are pristine people watching opportunities during the weekday at lunch due to their stool seating along the windows. This isn’t a cheap lunch, so I definitely limit this to one to two times a week. My bowl came up to $18.57 with no drink. To be fair, I added the avocado which was $1.95 and the baby mushrooms which were $2.95. I think overall before adding the extras as it was about $14. Anyway, the atmosphere is awesome. Staff is friendly and always working. My food was made fresh, tasted good, and came out really quickly. The spicy chicken is in fact spicy! I didn’t have enough for a dessert lol. But I did sign up for rewards! I’m excited to see what they’ll offer.

When I put this spot in my GPS (I’m still learning to navigate ATL) I did not realize that it was downtown. I arrive and of course there is no street parking but a parking garage next door. You are able to park for 20min FREE. Well this is where it becomes challenging. You may ONLY park on floors 5-7! Luckily, once I step into Gusto, I’m the only customer! 🤗 I was able to get in and out quickly. The service was on point and the food was fairly decent. I just did not like that the sautéed onions and mushrooms were served cold over my warm rice! 🥴 I’ll probably eat there again, but at a different location to avoid the rush because I was not prepared to pay $8 if my time hit 21min. 🤣

I had a great experience at gusto Downtown. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and smooth. What really stood out was how well they promoted their new summer special, the jerk ginger pineapple. It caught my attention right away, and I’m so glad I tried it. It was delicious and super refreshing with just the right amount of kick and flavor. You could tell a lot of thought went into it. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Ms.V and the Crew at Gusto’s downtown are always on point. My favorite is spicy chicken and avocado with queso sauce. It’s flavorful, fresh and just the right spice. The staff already knows my order and they’ll have my name as Friend. Great atmosphere, the store is clean and they will get you in and out. Thanks Gusto’s

In Downtown Atlanta, I stumbled upon a culinary gem offering a delightful fusion of balance and wellness for busy urbanites. Stepping into the inviting ambiance of the restaurant, I was greeted by the alluring scent of wholesome cuisine, a preview of the culinary delights that awaited. Choosing the vegan-friendly "Ginger Lime Peanut" bowl, I embarked on a culinary adventure like no other. Each mouthful of brown rice, crisp greens, and creamy avocado was a symphony of flavors and textures. A splash of Texas Pete hot sauce added a satisfying zing, taking the dish to new culinary heights. While the meal left me content, I contemplated the delicate balance between portion size and value. Despite the impeccable flavors, the prices leaned slightly towards the higher end for the medium-sized serving provided. Nevertheless, the restaurant radiated cleanliness and efficiency, a testament to the dedication of its staff. As I savored my meal by the window, bathed in the warm glow of natural light, I marveled at the diverse array of diners around me. From lively groups of twenty-somethings to engaged college students, from families sharing moments of closeness to nurturing young mothers attending to their children, as well as busy office workers seeking a moment of respite. Each individual a unique presence adding depth to the communal dining experience. In that fleeting moment, I realized that this restaurant transcended mere sustenance; it was a sanctuary where people of all backgrounds converged, united by food options less processed. As I bid adieu to the bustling dining area, I share with you the memory of a quick meal.

Yelp
This lunch spot offers a reliable choice with well-proportioned and tasty meals. Their bowls are quite filling and the food quality is consistently high. The ambiance is generally bustling, yet accommodating.A minor critique is the space can feel a bit cramped and the additional cost for protein may add up. Nonetheless, the restaurant provides a quick, vegan-friendly option near GSU, and their responsive customer service adds to a positive experience.

Yelp
Gusto! is a build-your-own bowl, fast-casual place that's doing it right. Like so many build-your-own places, you start with a base (mixed greens, rice, half-and-half, or wrap), choose a protein (chicken - either regular or spicy, shrimp, or tofu), then decide on a gusto (type of bowl - chipotle mango avocado, ginger lime peanut, chile sesame bbq, tahini cucumber feta, sweet soy sriracha, or tzatziki lemon artichoke). I opted for the chile sesame bbq (half greens half rice, with tofu) at the recommendation of the cashier, and it was delightful. The kimchi salad was just the right amount of spicy, and the tofu was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Each meal comes with a bag of sweet potato chips, which, I discovered, make a lovely crunchy topping. The pricing is on par with other build-your-own bowl places, and the taste and freshness are up to snuff. I'd definitely visit again to try some of their other flavor combos.

Yelp
Food was ready pretty fast and surprisingly there was seating despite it being so busy. The biggest downsides for me is how small the store is and that the kids portion is TINY. I think any child over the age of 2 would think it isn't enough food. Also not a fan about how adding protein is extra money. I paid $7 for brown rice and avocado. I deal with it because it's one of the few quick Vegan options by GSU Update: I emailed the gusto team and was fairly compensated for my experience. I appreciate their customer service!

Yelp
Just ordered the Lemon Pepper Ranch bowl to-go and it was amazing. The bowl was full to capacity, as always, and it was hot and fresh. Not to mention it was ready before the time stated, which is great for my quick lunchbreak period. But the highlight of today was Veronica working the Pick-Up section today. She was so nice and welcoming and went out of her way to make sure I was a happy customer. I wish more people have that personality in the customer service industry. Will definitely return not only for the food but for the very nice people like Veronica!! If you're reading this by chance, HEY!!! You really made my day! Thank you!

Yelp
Great and quick service, relaxed atmosphere and the bowls were DELICIOUS. I got the mango avocado gusto which is their most popular, and my girlfriend got the lemon pepper ranch bowl and they were both 10/10. They were also reasonably priced, and perfectly filling, relatively healthy! We will definitely be back every time we visit Atlanta!

Yelp
This is my go-to lunch spot. The macros are pretty good and the portion sizes are amazing. I get full off of their bowls and it tastes amazing. Never disappoints!
