The worst food I’ve had. The steak was inedible either because it was too tough or chewy fat. Overpriced and the most bland guacamole and chips I’ve ever had. I asked for more napkins and was told they ran out- mind you there were napkins on the other tables and we were literally the only people there. When I asked the waiter what were to do- he stared blankly. I asked him to hand us the napkins from the other tables and the same confused look crossed his face. Never again. $25 for a burger- would explain how they’re still open because it’s not for much else.

Gustos is AMAZING. They sell a fusion of Mexican and Venezuelan food. Firstly, the food is delicious! I tried a new Hawaiian burger and it was seriously one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The combination of flavors is something that you can’t explain, you have to try it yourself to understand how good it is. Secondly, the service is great. The owner was the one that took care of us and made our food. He was really kind, welcoming, and friendly. I’d recommend this place a thousand times.☺️🍔

The Hawaiian burger was incredible, but service was close to non-existent. Counter-serve model would serve this place better.

We found this place on Google maps with good reviews so we walked over. Getting there we saw it was BYOB which wasn’t a problem since there was a liquor store right next door. We grabbed our drinks and walked in. At first glance it was empty and the decorations were not the greatest, which had us worried. We asked for glasses with ice for our drinks and noticed the poor man leave the restaurant to get a bag of ice! Not long after he brought us soup, which we had not ordered. It was simple be really good. Then our guacamole and chips came out along with our meals. When I tell you that food was the freshest, most flavorful Mexican food I’ve possibly ever had, I am not exaggerating. Everything tasted as if it was hand made and freshly cook. My big back has been obsessing since we left.

The food is fantastic. We had mole enchiladas and birria ramen and both were delicious. We're definitely coming back. There was clearly a lot of love put into the cooking here. Also the horchata was very tasty and unique. Much better than going out to taquerias.

Food was made fresh-really flavorful! I had the carne asada with rice and beans for $14. I think it was a special they had? Tasted as good as homemade! Wonderful service. Looking forward to eating here again!! 😋

Three of us ate there on New Year’s Eve for dinner, the food was fabulous. We ordered enchilada and my friend ordered Mole. He said that it was the best mole he has had in Chicago. We brought a bottle of margaritas (BYOB) and enjoyed the food even more. There’s a liquor store right next to the restaurant- perfect! The owner came out and chatted with us. They will be getting an all new menu in a couple of weeks. We ended our meal with a large piece of tres leches cake. OMG! It was incredible! Excellent meal here! Thank you

So far everything I've tried is good. The chilaquiles, carne en su jugo, tacos and the aguas frescas are good. It's authentic Mexican food and the owner and staff are very friendly.

Yelp
The food was amazing. A bit of a wait but I Don't mind when I know it's being made fresh. Thanks had the Birria Ramen bowl and it's delicious. My friend had an arepa and also loved it.
