"AUC students and graduates of the past 20 years are familiar with the college-friendly affordability at this local breakfast and lunch chain. And even after all these years, there’s still plenty of breakfast fare on the menu hovering between $4 and $6, along with cheesesteaks, wings, and burgers under $10. Gut Busters includes multiple Atlanta locations now." - Mike Jordan, Beth McKibben

I went in for take out on a weekend afternoon. The restaurant is easy to find. Located in small plaza. Medium sized yellow sign outside. They have a free parking lot in front of restaurant. I have visited this place over 3 times. This time I ordered: Bacon, Grits, Eggs, & Toast (📸) Pork chop, grits, eggs, toast (📸) Side of Breakfast Potatoes (📸) Pros I always order breakfast. Great soul food, affordable prices, and plentiful portions. A great takeout option- especially for the area. Cons Ordering online or over the phone can sometimes be a hasstl. (I.e. Not answering the phone, ordering system being down or not taking orders often) Would I Recommend Yes... if you can order it'll be worth it. Way better than waffle house and CHEAPER with MORE food. We ate on the lunch side. Food was not prepared how we ordered it. Both plates were wrong. Fries did not have salt nor season on them. Food did come fresh and hot but the taste was not as we expected. The Breakfast side was packed. We should have went to the breakfast side instead. The lady who took our order was very dry and non social. My finance and I wish we would have spent our $38.51 somewhere else. I would not come back.

They have really good breakfasts with ample amounts of food for pretty low prices! The chicken sausage is my go-to with grits & eggs. Sometimes, I get the salmon patties with grits & eggs. Pancakes are really good too!

This is my go to breakfast place when I'm near the area, love the breakfast options. My first time coming here, the black lady said "I can take the next customer in line" but when I got to her, she said if I didn't have an online order, I needed to get back in line cause she only did online orders. But she was very nasty with it. Ive seen her get nasty with several ppl. Needless to say, I tend to avoid letting her take my order, whenever she says next, I just let the person behind me go. You can try anything and you won't be disappointed

I enjoyed my meal but just missed the breakfast hour. Prices are reasonable for the area, and I am excited to try the other locations.

Ordered through DoorDash around 1:15 and it was ready in no time. Loved the ease of ordering and receiving my food. The food was hot and delicious. The employee at the register was very fast and courteous. My cheese steak was good but it came with peppers which I wasn't expecting. The fries was crispy, hot and more than a normal side order. I see why they're called "gut busters" I can't wait to go back for breakfast!
