"Celebrity chef Guy Fieri will put his maverick stamp of tastes on the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort this fall with the opening of Guy Fieri’s Cherokee Kitchen + Bar. Located in Cherokee, North Carolina, in the Great Smoky Mountains, the casino is an enterprise of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. The new 200-seat restaurant will offer many of the Fieri’s signature dishes, like the bacon mac-n-cheese burger with Donkey Sauce, bourbon brown sugar barbecue wings, pulled pork sandwiches and more." - Erin Perkins

I recently dined at Guy Fieri's Cherokee Kitchen and had an amazing experience. The food was fantastic, with bold flavors and generous portions. The service was top-notch with friendly and attentive staff, making sure we had everything we needed. One tip: definitely make a reservation ahead of time, as the place gets busy, and you might end up having to sit at the bar if you don't. Highly recommend!

While staying at Cherokee Casino Resort, opted to have dinner at Guy Fieri’s on a Wednesday evening. Interesting, Open Table said there was only a 6:30 availability, but once we arrived we realized we could easily have arrived anytime. Zack gave us a friendly welcome and had us seated quickly. Sy was our server. Friendly and helpful. Afternoon some deliberation, my wife chose the Bacon Mac n cheese burger and I chose the pulled pork on a pretzel bun. We both had Arnold Palmers for beverages. Upon first taste we realized they were way too sweet. Talked to Sy and he quickly replaced them with unsweetened tea. Food arrived fairly quickly. Wife’s burger was very tasty and juicy. Obviously grilled on a flat top. Had a nice char around the edges. Crispy bacon. And a bun that handled it all very well. Speaking of “well”, without asking, the burger was cooked medium well, but was very tender and juicy. My pulled pork was excellent. Tender, juicy, with deep flavors that were complimented by the slaw and crispy onions. The pretzel bun held together nicely. Warning though, it’s a mess to handle and eat! The downside to the meal was actually the fries. An eclectic combo of waffles, strings, and sort of steak fry chunks. Might have been nice, except that they had a hard, chewy texture. Possibly cooked at too low a temperature for too long. We ate a few, but the sandwiches were so filling that we didn’t want to waste time asking for the fries to be replaced.

Had a great experience trying out the Guy Fieri kitchen for the first time within the Cherokee casino and resort. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us as well as ensure our needs were met as far as food and beverage as well. Decided to try their Cajun salmon dish with garlic mashed potatoes and subbed crispy bacon Brussel sprouts in place of the asparagus. The dish was very delicious, and the infused butter they used made each bite rich and filled with flavor. Had no problems cleaning up the plate. The only gripe I could think of would be the steep prices, but there are plenty of other options if you’re looking to save come cash for the machines. Overall very pleased and would stop by again when visiting the resort.

Google
We had dinner here while staying at Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee. Oh my gosh look at the burgers!! They were incredible and I’m pretty much a burger expert as it’s one of my favorite meals! They also had this pretzel pig pile that was smothered in cheese that was an ooey gooey mess of deliciousness!! Wow! I can’t wait to go back!!

Google
I didn't want to like this place. I wanted to hate on it, because Guy has gotten so commercial. I was drinking the haterade before I walked in. I was absolutely wrong, the burger I had was one of the best burgers I've ever had and the steak sandwich was served to order, like they used real steak on their cheese steak sandwich. The brussel sprouts, are terrific and I would highly recommend getting those. But even the French fries were incredibly crispy, the server was very attentive and the restaurant is kind of cool looking. I would absolutely come back here and I would absolutely recommend this place

Google
The pretzel pile app was wonderful. We got the Caesar salad with chicken, the strip and the Cajun salmon. The salad was a bit smaller than expected, but the chicken and the dressing were delicious. The strip was overcooked and tough, but the sides were good. The salmon was amazing. We also got the strawberry shortcake- it was so big we couldn't finish it. Our server was Manuel, and he was very good.

We have eaten here on several occasions, and each time the food is great, no complaints! Try something new each time we go. On our most recent trip, we had a fantastic server, Erin. She was knowledgeable about the new items added to the menu, made suggestions (of we which we took her up on one), and was just great all around.

We are never disappointed here!!Delicious!!! Stopped in again and Dre took great care of us. Great food and service!! Angel took great care of us tonight at dinner. We split the country fried chicken— delicious!! The lobster lollipops are amazing— a must try appetizer!

Yelp
Dish 1 - royal ribs! Ribs so soft and spicy, coleslaw's kinda dry, Mac N cheese so rich! Asparagus had so much solid rock salt! Corn bread tastes dry and old! Rate 8! Dish 2 - Mashed potatoes cold and asparagus were salty, and the JD NY strip over cooked, I ordered medium rare and i got well done! Rate 6! Environment - you have to bring or wear sweater or jacket coz is too cold. Ambiance - music not too loud not too low. Clean area! Front desk - 10* Service - 9* - kinda slow! Over all experience! 8*

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise on our visit to the mountains! We popped in for dinner after a day of exploring. The food was unbelievably delicious! Our server was a sweet school teacher that works there part time. She made our experience that much more special by recommending delicious items and making us feel welcomed. I think there is a casino near this restaurant if you like that kind of thing. Otherwise, pull up a chair and enjoy yourself:)

Alex h.

Yelp
The burgers here are delicious! The service is quick and the fries are amazing . There are plenty of tables to sit at and everything is pretty much self service.

Ramon F.

Yelp
This is not the experience I've had in other "Guy" restaurants. Both the service and food were not very good. Also, the food came out all at once, not giving us time to eat each course, so we had to eat the entree first since it was hot and the app was cold. Didn't matter, we left more than half our meals and are somewhere else 2 hours later.

Yelp
My family were in town for a gymnastics meet at Harrah's and I booked a reservation here. Our food was top notch. My son had the ribs and they completely fell off the bone. My steak sandwich was the best steak sandwich I have ever had. My daughter really enjoyed her pork sandwich too. The best part was our server, Kiyan. He was a complete delight and it was his third day on the job! Although, in talking to him we learned about his experience as a server in before Guy's. He really made our dining experience. You have big things ahead of you, Kiyan! I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
We had an odd experience here for dinner. We had reservations and were seated right away. It was a Saturday night and really wasn't busy. The restaurant is open and has a modern look and feel. It's over in the newer tower at Cherokee casino. Our server was attentive at the start, but as the evening progressed, that wasn't the case. When we needed to return cold food, we had to stop a hostess and she went and found him. As for the food, the steak sandwich saved this review from being lower. Plus JD liked all of his food too. There was 3 of us and we started off with the trash can nachos and JD got the French onion soup. The nachos could have been great had there been more cheddar cheese and sour cream. Unfortunately they did not, and because of this ate really dry. The winner of the night was the steak sandwich. Diane and I split it and it was fabulous. Soft roll. Right ration of bread to meat to sauce to crispy fried onions. And that donkey sauce. Awesome!!! That should be put on the nachos and served with the fries instead of ketchup. Speaking of the fries they were served freezing cold. We subbed and got the trio of fries and I anticipated they would be served in 3 separate cups. Instead it was all three in one basket. We sent them back and got a hot batch. The extra side of fried Brussels we ordered also was served cold. We sent them back but by the time they came back out we were ready to leave and didn't eat them. I would go back for the steak sandwich, but not much else. I would be super specific about temperatures and also ask for the donkey sauce served with everything!!!

J K.

Yelp
The service was horrible, the food was cold and tasted like Sterno fuel. I would never eat in the casino again. It was overpriced as well.

Penny W.

Yelp
I had blackened salmon Cesar and he had pulled pork sandwich. The smoked salmon AMAZING. He cannot stop talking about the bun and pulled pork!!!!

Marsha L.

Yelp
My fiancé and I are staying at the casino and had breakfast at guy's. I have to say I had the Chorizo burrito, and was blown away how great it was. The best burrito I've had. My fiancé had the breakfast bowl and was equally impressed. We were seated immediately and our waitress, Erin, was very pleasant and efficient. Very cool atmosphere with nice lighting and upbeat music. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I'm beginning to realize that Guy Fieri's food is just not my taste. This is the second time I've been to one of his restaurants and while the burger was decent, the mac & cheese and lobster were just okay. I can't eat a lot of that mac and cheese and I'm not sure if I would go back. However, I did enjoy the chicken wings, especially with the sauce. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the food smells amazing, but overall it's just not for me.

Rhina D.

Yelp
I had such high expectations! I've been to other locations and had an awesome experience. I'm not sure if there is trouble with securing ingredients or what, but what I do know is that this is NOT a good representation of this brand. My waitress was AMAZING (SAVING GRAVE FOR THIA OUTING). We waited 35 mins for a table (4) while the entire restaurant sat empty. Order fish (put of fish). It was just not good. Bland and kinda boring, which again is 100% the opposite of the Guy F. brand. The food looked as expected but there was 0 flavor. On a good note, the brussle sprouts were amazing. The location is well lit & decorated. This is in a casino, so a bit more noise is to be expected. Additionally, there is a lobby bar right in front. If you want a quiet meal, go a bit earlier.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but that wasn't the case. The ambiance and service was nice but the food wasn't good, unfortunately. We had left overs and didn't even take it with us. We started off with the street corn and the chips were overly salty, plus the seasoning on the chips didn't seem to go well with the dip. We also ordered the soft pretzels with cheese but it was bland and the texture was not good at all. The only plus seems to be the burger but truly nothing special. I hate rating places low but I know with a big name like Guy, I am very disappointed and wanted you all to have the heads up before going. But my opinion is my own and you may have a better experience. So if you want to check it out, I hope you have a better experience than I did!

Jeanne G.

Yelp
I was part of a large group who ate there for dinner one night while we were at the resort for a conference. I ordered the regular house burger. It was more of a smash burger, which was fine, but it was so bland and dry that it was like eating a piece of cardboard. I've had Guy's Burgers on a cruise, and they were excellent, but he really might want to rethink putting his name on this.

Yamila D.

Yelp
This restaurant is FIRE!! I didn't really want to eat on the resort since the experience from the night before, but one of friends said "Don't worry Guy won't let us down" and she was right he didn't. Everything is made in house from scratch. The food is phenomenal from appetizer to main course. We ordered the trash nachos with the pork on the side cause not all of us eat pork and it was delicious just like that. I don't what it is, if it's the bbq sauce but the taste is so unique. You can't go with ordering these. The wings were just like wings anywhere else. The salmon and grits was okay. Another friend in my group ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo and she enjoyed it. It's a bit pricey but so worth it.

Stacie P.

Yelp
Pictures due these justice. We've had the nachos before and they were outstanding. Not at all this trip. Lots of chips and cheese sauce. Not much pork. Wings were bland. Service was excellent. We were starving. Made the best of a bad meal. Highlight were the fries. Forgot to get a pic.

Veleria L.

Yelp
You know you have such high expectations because it's Guy Fieri however, it was just ok. The let down was the "street corn." It was more like Mexican corn from the can. The Old Skool Steak Sandwich was good but no excitement. Note the Salted Carmel Pretzel Bread Pudding was amazing!! Go there for the dessert! It was warmed and the taste of salt & sweet was perfect! It's enough to share with 4 people.

Barbara S.

Yelp
Had to wait about 30 mins on a Monday night. When ordering thought food was a bit pricey but when you get your plate, the portions are huge! Party of 8 -- we enjoyed our experience. Food tasted great, and our waitress was the best! We had several take home plates left over.

Dan M.

Yelp
Much better this time. The food and drink here is always great: burger, fries, and beer. One of best burgers I've ever had. Fries are solid. It's the service that's sporadic. They're all friendly, but the seating strategy is very poor. If it's not crowded, they might seat you right next to a couple (practically on their laps), or right next to the kitchen. I'll keep at 5 because it's an easy solution: ask to sit somewhere else. Overall, the food makes it well worth the visit.

Ellen B.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. And the waitress, Jennifer was so friendly, attentive and all around great! The atmosphere was nice. We will definitely return next time we're at the Casino.

Shula R.

Yelp
To be honest, was kind of expecting an average, probably overpriced experience at this hotel casino Guy Fieri restaurant. I'm couldn't be happier to say I was pleasantly disappointed. Restaurant was fairly busy for a Sunday night. We sat in these cute small tables which I though might pose a problem for comfortable/neat eating but all was good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and easily able to make recommendations based on your asks. Some of her favorites were out already but maybe next time. She seemed to have been covering a large area so sometimes we had to wait a little for her, but overall good service. Now on to the main attraction! I had seen the Bloody Mary in a photo months before and was determined to get even though it wasn't brunch time. Thankfully they have all the time. It was quite tasty and while not as pretty as the original one I saw, I'd order again - hello bacon and jerky! The salmon and grits was a very generous size and the sauces on top made it delish. The Brussel sprouts while it said crispy, really weren't traditional crispy but did have a hint of wasabi flavor even though it didn't mention on the menu. Burgers are almost all smash burgers but still tasty and juicy. The mac and cheese bacon burger was very good but a little messy. The star though was the fry trio that comes with the burgers. Those wedge fries were phenomenal!! While not typically a chocolate cake person, I was sold on the whiskey name. Even though our waitress said it really wasn't too whiskeyy (double y intended iykyk) it was still a hint for flavoring. The cake was huge and fresh. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Guy Fieri, known for diners... drive-ins ... and... dives opens up an upscale restaurant. Odd, but ok. Let's try it out.. The restaurant itself is nice and clean and brand new. In my opinion, it feels a little sterile We ordered the jalapeño poppers for an appetizer. Typically jalapeño poppers are filled with cream, cheese, battered, and deep fried. These were wrapped in bacon and stuffed with pimento cheese served with either a ranch or a blue cheese dressing on the side -- we couldn't tell what it was but it had no flavor. This is apparently the theme of the restaurant as there are no salt and pepper shakers on the tables. The bacon wrap was undercooked. The jalapeño itself was undercooked and surprise surprise the pimento cheese inside wasn't even warm. For dinner I ordered the chicken fried chicken, which came with grits and bacon brussels sprouts. Again there was not much flavor from the brussels sprouts or grits, other than an intense smoke flavor that lingered in my mouth for the rest of the day. The sausage gravy on top of the chicken was bland. The chicken itself was pretty good at $28 for this plate. I was not impressed. My friend ordered the salmon, which came with three microscopic shrimp, Brussel sprouts and opted for the fry trio... which sounded interesting but is simply three different types of french fries, all cooked the same way. Waffle. Straight. Curly. Lame. Other than the orange carrot sticks served on the side of the jalapeño poppers everything on both of our plates was pretty much a tan or gray mush. Visually unappealing. You are paying for the name only. I typically enjoy his shows. He seems like a nice dude. I hear he's very generous, but I think this restaurant is a miss. ... if Gordon Ramsay happens to read this don't get all excited cause your food court over on the other side of the casino sucks as well. A guy I work with who loves Little Caesars said your pizza sucks and it does.

Yelp
We went to Guy Fieri's restaurant at the casino to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant has a trendy and pleasant decor. Our server, Jennifer, was outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better server! I enjoyed a delicious Cobb salad with fresh grilled chicken. The salad was large and well-made, with all the right ingredients. My wife had the same Cobb salad, and we shared the Pepperoni Pizza Pops, which were very good and had a generous portion of pepperoni and cheese. I can't say that the prices were cheap, but the salads were reasonably priced. Our original plan was to have the ribeye steaks, but we decided to pass after hearing they were $78.00. LOL.

A C.

Yelp
Terrible. French onion soup cold. Cheese on top barely melted. Chicken sandwich no bacon, breading did not stick, solo no taste. Trash can fries, why? Salmon Caesar aweful.

Jazmine M.

Yelp
Wonderful place, decor is superb, service is top tier, food is amazing as always! Definitely one of my go tos when staying at Harrahs in Cherokee

Robert O.

Yelp
Food was bad. One person had heartburn all night. I had a bad stomach ache. The server was very nice. And replaced one meal with another.

Gordon G.

Yelp
The bar charged me $24 for a gin martini neat......I was thinking, ok, maybe $14-$18. But what a shock at $24. Ate dinner...prime ribeye medium rare...$65 w/asparagus and mashed potatoes....oops, messed up this simple order. Brought asparagus and broccoli. I asked for horse radish...was told they don't carry it. Pitiful overall experience.....but, never again!

Warren C.

Yelp
Please note first that online menus are out of date, they have made small changes that can impact dietary restrictions. Food: Our appetizer of corn dip was very good, salmon was good, grits were good. Kids burger did not look appetizing at all. Steak sandwich was okay. French fries were pretty dull, it's a mix of fries, wedges, and waffle fries. Atmosphere: non existent. I, my girlfriend and her 7 year old were sat next to a large family with several crying babies in an area with no wall art and there was no music until the end of our meal in the restaurant. Service was a let down, the server didn't check on us as often as I might have liked, wasn't offered a drink menu. And we were there for a birthday which I made clear with the reservation, they brought it up when we arrived and nothing happened which was kind of weird.

Laura M.

Yelp
Flavortown? Not here. Below average. If I was Guy I would take my name off. Absolutely nothing positive to say. Appetizer came three minutes before dinner that we were guaranteed. It would be a nice spacing out and have a nice evening.

SmileModel S.

Yelp
Outstanding host! We had reservations at 4:30p. Our table was ready and it was a very quiet ambiance. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and the hotel/Harrah's casino. It's good for large groups and special occasions. No outdoor seating and no views.

Johnson N.

Yelp
I had such high hopes for this restaurant, but in the end we left a little disappointed. My girlfriend and I were on a road trip around the Great Smokey Mountains when we found ourselves in Cherokee with hungry stomachs. We found out that Guy Fieri had recently opened this restaurant inside of Harrah's casino and I just had to try it. Guy Fieri is my idol and I love his burger restaurants found on Carnival cruise ships. The restaurant was only accepting reservations but fortunately they had an opening within the next 45 minutes. After what felt like an eternity, thanks to our hungry stomachs, we were finally seated a few minutes before our reserved time and ready to feast! Tuna poke won-tacos (4.5/5) - I'm a sucker for tuna on wonton chips and these did not disappoint. For $12.95 you get four tacos, a small side of seaweed salad, and some limes and radish for garnish. The tuna had a ton of flavor thanks to the sweet soy and wasabi cream. I would definitely order this again. My only gripe is the wonton tacos were a little harder than I would have liked so I had to be careful not to cut my gums while biting. Cajun chicken alfredo (2/5) - The dish was a hefty portion and flavor was there, but overly salty and left much to be desired for $21.95. If you order this I would recommend asking the kitchen to go easy on the seasoning, although that sounds counterintuitive for a Cajun dish. Bacon mac-n-cheese burger (4/5) - I'm not going to lie, I ordered this burger because of the description stating all of the awards it won. Overall it had a lot going on, but it was definitely a good, and big, burger. I had to cut it in half just to be able to approach it. The patty itself was meaty, bacon was crunchy, and mac & cheese was cheesy. The donkey sauce added a nice tang to the burger. The burger comes with a fry trio (regular cut, waffle, a sidewinder fries) as well. For $16.95 this was definitely worth ordering! Lobster mac-n-cheese (4/5) - What's not to like about this dish? It's mac-n-cheese, but elevated with meat from two lobster claws. It was good, but nothing special. Strawberry shortcake (1/5) - We both envisioned some kind of warm dessert, but that's not what we got. We got a giant bowl that made me literally say "holy shit!" and had attracted eyes from nearby tables wanting to see what the fuss was about. It was a big bowl of stale and dry biscuits, covered in scoops of vanilla and strawberry ice cream, and topped with strawberries and whipped cream. This was not at all what we had hoped for nor would we recommend this to anyone. In the end I'm happy I got to try another one of Guy Fieri's restaurant, but I can never see myself dining here again. None of the dishes were satisfying enough to long for more.

Yelp
This was our second time eating at this restaurant, sadly the service wasn't as great this time as it was in the past. I had tried multiple times to call throughout the day to see if I could make a reservation, because I was t able to make one online, and the phone would ring several times and then hang up. We knew later in the evening they would slow down, so we arrived at the restaurant around 9pm. When I asked the hostess about the phones, she stated they don't answer them when they are slammed, and she also stated they had turned off the online reservations because they were so busy. Thankfully we were promptly given a table but had to wait several minutes for our waitress to acknowledge us. We had to repeat ourselves several times because she didn't seem to understand English very well. She frequently disappeared which meant we had to try and flag down other staff to assist us. Thankfully the food made up for the service. We started with the "LOBSTER LOLLIPOPS- tempura-battered lobster bites, Old Bay-smothered SMC* fries, roasted garlic + lemon aioli". These are a family favorite of ours and totally worth the money. The outside is crispy and the inside has a huge chunk of lobster. Then you dip it in the lemon aioli and it melts in your mouth. These are also served with a small portion of fries and could easily be an entrée by itself. Another family favorite is the "DRAGON'S BREATH CHILI- "low n' slow" cooked beef pork chili topped with melted cheddar cheese, sweet cornbread, sour cream, scallions". Just a heads up, the cornbread does have chunks of corn in it if you can't eat corn. The cornbread was a little dry tonight, but the chili was great. You get big chunks of flavorful meat in every spoonful. The chili does have a little kick to it, so if you don't like spicy, this is not for you...I would recommend the French Onion soup if they have it (it's really good too). On our last visit we got the BACON MAC-N-CHEESE BURGER and it was great, but we wanted to try something different this time. So we got "PRIMETIME AMERICAN KOBE- American-style Kobe beef, caramelized onion jam, smoked gouda cheese, cheddar cheese, onion straws, aged parmesan cheese, pickles + donkey sauce on a garlic-buttered brioche bun". This was a really great burger! Its one of those burgers where the juices run down your palms because it's so juicy. The meat was so tender and very flavorful. The only complaint er had was that we ordered it rare, and the burger was rare in the middle but more cooked on the edges, so we have to wonder if the grill had uneven temperatures. We ordered the burger with the fries which comes in 3 different cuts, and they were good, but nothing special. We also ordered the "TATTED-UP TURKEY BURGER- ground turkey burger grilled with poblanos, pepper jack cheese, topped with gouda cheese, ancho bacon, sweet peppers, red onion jam, LTOP* + donkey sauce, all stacked on a garlic-buttered pretzel bun". I'll just say that I love the donkey sauce. This burger was good, but the patty was a little over cooked on the edges. The flavors go really well together and it creates a kind of sweet taste on it. I ordered the LOBSTER MAC-N-CHEESE which is half the cost of you order it as a side instead with an entree. The side portion had more than enough food to share with someone. There were large chunks of lobster which was great. The noodles were cooked great, but dish lacked flavor. It would have really benefited from a dash of Old Bay seasoning.

Yelp
Just okay, First of all the wait staff was great. The food is mediocre at best. The average meal seemed to be about 20 bucks. I'm not saying the burger wasn't good, but I could have gotten one at a place like Applebee's for half the price. The ambiance was pretty neat, there are plates on the wall signed by celebrities that have come through. I got a cocktail, and it was 16 dollars, it was just okay, some kind of raspberry lemon martini. My wife got a Miller Lite, which was very reasonably priced, and probably much better than my fancy martini. The wife was going to get a veggie burger, but they were out, this seems unacceptable given it was one of the few vegetarian choices. She opted for the Caesar salad, which she remarked was quite good. I love his show, but the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Honestly I think we enjoyed the Burger King down the street more.

Jeffrey Z.

Yelp
Not good! Guy what the..,,. Don't put your name on this place. I understand short staff but waiting 45 minutes and served cold nachos in a can. They didn't even have jalapeños! Ordered 2 drinks for $28.00. I have been following you for years, soooo disappointing. I can't recommend your restaurant , Guy pay attention to your empire! Not even compensated!

Beth K.

Yelp
The previous reviews would have detered us, but we landed here because we could t get a last-minute reservation at the other spots on property. LUCKY for us because we came back the next day as well. The service was great! The pork sandwich, ribs, and corn dip were delicious. The burgers were not bad, but to be fair, they were a bit overated.

Joanne B.

Yelp
I recently ate at the restaurant while on a business trip. My cheeseburger was very undercooked (I ordered medium well), and my fries were cold. I sent my burger back and asked for hot fries. My new burger was now well done and dry but at least my fries were okay. I had high expectations for my dining experience, and it did not live up to it. I had hoped the server would comp meal which she did not I won't be back or recommend it to anyone.

The service was great! Food was pretty good. They were very accomodating and service oriented

Another Guy Fieri failure. His restaurants are consistently bad across the US. This one at Harrahs Cherokee was the same. Slow service. Two steak dinners that were not even close to cooking the meat as ordered. Cold mash potatoes. The Brussels sprout side dish was the only good part of our dinner. Server didn't hesitate to take the meals off our bill. Don't waste your time and money here. The Gordon Ramsey market has better choices.

Yelp
First time eating at Guy Fieri's Cherokee Kitchen. The experience had something for everyone, a little good, and little not-so-much. The dining room has a very clean look that is fitting the convention center hotel lobby, which it borders. Nothing jumps out about the decor to make the ambiance special or unique. The menu has a ton of intriguing options highlighting Fieri's passion for flavor, and the use of cheese and sauces to make things even more comforting. We had the cheesy pretzel skillet and the street corn appetizers, washed down with a Yuengling on tap. First, the beer tasted musty - akin to that college bar you always attended and drank the beer as it only cost $2. Except here, it is $6. Stick to the bottled selection for that money. The pretzel skillet was smothered in cheese and bacon. It was super tasty while hot, but as it cooled it became as heavy as the skillet that contained it. For best results, make sure there are 3 or more sharing it while it is hot. The street corn was the highlight. Very tasty. It, too, came in a skillet with a bag of chips to load up (3x more than you need to eat the smaller amount of corn). Pricey for what it is, yet a meal highlight. I had the ribs for dinner. They were very fatty and didn't fall off the bone. Likely the membrane was still on the slab. Not my favorite but I pushed through. The side was a Mac and cheese which was fair, but they plopped it on top of Texas toast, which was then rendered inedible due to the soggy cheese sauce. So I can't report on the quality of the Texas Toast. My buddy had the burger and was pleased with there portion, though it was not a standout from any other burger. The three fries side was a disappointment, unless you really love wedges, which were surprisingly not seasoned well. Our server was friendly and prompt. Overall, I'd rather eat at Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen if at the resort, even if it is more cafeteria style than sit down dining.

Yelp
Although I can only justify 3 stars, it's really not as bad as many of the reviews. I ordered a 16oz ribeye, and wife ordered loaded nachos. The ribeye was pricey, even for Guy Fieri, but it was done properly and rather tasty. I didn't find the restaurant or the food extraordinary. Truthfully, I did expect extraordinary. After reading many of the reviews, the most common thought seems to be "disappointment". I would have to agree. I never have a meal without some kind of dessert, but after reading reviews, then experiencing a mediocre meal, I chose to pass.

Yelp
What a fantastic meal!!! I can't say enough about the food and how outstanding the service was! The portions were huge! I couldn't finish. We will be back! We had the ribs, Mac and cheese, and chicken fried chicken. We saw the strawberry shortcake arrive at the table next to us...looked amazing!!!

Yelp
My husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary and it was so good. The pretzels with beer cheese were amazing and this Bacon Mac N-Cheeseburger was so good I can't wait to go back for another one. It was so big I only ate half of it but boy was that half good!!

Yelp
Food is barely a 3. Drinks and staff are a 5. Trash can nachos, steak sandwich and wings are winners. Stay away from lobster lollipops - all breading. Sit at the bar and save yourself a wait.... Same menu and more lively.

Yelp
The food is good but the bartender KaTai enhances the experience. He will ensure both you food and drinks are right.

Yelp
Went to the Casino for our friends birthday. 11 of us. Took 15 minutes to be greeted. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. Food took over an hour to come out and when it did everything was cold. We had to get up to get someone, manager said they would remake the food.... After another 30 minutes no food showed up. Went to get the manager and she didn't know we were still waiting on food. We asked to leave and then they brought checks out and asked us to pay for the cold food we didn't eat. Miserable experience. Guy Fieri should be embarrassed of how this place operates!

Yelp
So glad I ate here! I had a late 9:30 pm reservation but was pleased to still find an attentive staff and delicious food! From the start, the hostess was incredibly kind and even pulled my chair out for me. Our server was awesome and full of energy. I got the bacon Mac and cheese burger which I LOVED. I did pull off some lettuce just because it was abundant but overall so good. I do recommend you bring a sweater though because it is very chilly inside!

Yelp
Tucked away on the ground floor of the Cherokee Hotel and Casino this restaurant had been operating fur six months. Seats are in demand and without a reservation you may not get in. The good news is you can reserve via Open Table. The American Kobe Burger was the tastiest, juiciest and all around best burger I have eaten in NC. It is accompanied by the fry basket which has three types of fries. I have added a photo for you to see. Jade was an efficient server even bringing two glasses to ensure I have enough to drink. Total bill with tip $26 pp. Enjoy!

Yelp
Tried Guy Fieris last week when we were in Cherokee , had the pretzel pile and the garlic shrimp appetizer, shrimp was good pretzel not so much , waitress forgot my beer had to remind her, my wife's 18$ margarita was THE smallest margarita I've seen for the price point. Who puts an 18$ margarita in an old fashioned glass ? They do ! Between wicked weed , Brio and this Cherokee really does not have any good eating places anymore, plus no Buffett .

Yelp
The restaurant has a funky vibe and the food has cool presentations. Like the "Trash Can Nachos". The server brings them in a tall metal container and then releases them onto a plate. Lots of pulled pork included. Lobster Mac & Cheese is really good but super rich. We got the side dish ($12.95) for an app't and that was plenty. The chocolate cake coated with candy is amazing. It's HUGE and 4 people could easily share it.

Yelp
I was so looking forward to having my birthday dinner at Guy Fieris Kitchen and Bar in Cherokee NC. It started with hostess seating us at a very small table between two other tables. We call this community table, when you have no reservation. We made the reservation a month in advanced. Once ask to be moved (restaurant was basically empty) to larger table just went downhill. $48 for a cold porkchop one chop slip to make two! Ordered Brussels was given broccoli. Whole meal came out cold... Waitress attitude was very Grinch like... Will never spend money at any of his restaurants again. The Italian restaurant looked very good and was full. Should have tried them instead.
