Guy Fieris El Burro Borracho

We were so excited to try this place, but were horribly disappointed. I don’t know how Guy puts his name on a restaurant that serves absolute garbage food. The picture of the queso was very enticing….however, look at what we were served….did they run out of chips?…the actual taste of everything was beyond gross….nobody seemed to care, or take responsibility…yet made sure to charge us for everything, even though our food set there almost untouched. GUY COME PUT YOUR RESTAURANT IN CHECK!! Or take your name off the place. What a waste.

First off, the salsa strangely lacked salt and was overly spicy. The chips were weird. They require a reservation for subpar food. Mango and Strawberry margaritas lacked alcohol - yet they charged $16-$17 for each. The “charro beans” lacked depth and flavor. The chicken fajitas came with 10% protein, 90% veggies at $22 a plate. Pepsi products. No lovely music, the atmosphere was boring and tasteless like the food. I ordered the carne asada burrito, yet Chipotle did a better job in flavor profile, size, appearance. I’m still trying to understand why my burrito was dripping in oil??? The dessert didn’t taste fresh. I expected so much more. Not worth the $120 bill for 3 people.

Having now been to every Guy Fieri's restaurant, I can definitively say that they're all pretty middle of the road and pricey for what you're getting. The prices here were less than his Vegas places, but not by much. Everything was okay. We got some trash can nachos, which were similar to the other two we've tried. The salad was fine, the drinks were actually strong and good. The chips and salsa were strange. Most of the chips were crumbled bits and I didn't like the chili lime seasoning on them much. The salad was pretty decent. If staying at Harrah's, I'd consider going again to try some of the entrees before making a final decision on this place.

Hands down the best birria tacos I have ever had! The food had so much flavor and everything was cooked to perfection. Bo was our waitress and she was beyond amazing! She was so friendly, gave suggestions, was very present, and she seems to truly love her job! I definitely recommend checking out this amazing place!

We loved this restaurant! The guac was fresh and delish! The corn appetizer was wow and the fish tacos were also fresh and so flavorful! My husband had the chicken fajitas and really liked them. I’m mostly writing this because ADRIAN was amazing! He was so friendly and informative… he anticipated our needs and was a total gem to us. Love him and this is such a great restaurant to enjoy a meal!

Chase is the man!!! Made a perfecto tope shelf marg for the wife.. This place is great and well managed. The entire team seems to be knowledgeable friendly upbeat and on task!! I only wish Tracy fought for my pico!!! Nexttime I will demand pico and cilantro...

Katie was absolutely amazing she was so nice to my family I really appreciate it everything came out perfectly and we had an amazing time whata cool looking restaurant and its ginormous in there I was not expecting that its a major vibe in there katie made it even better with her amazing service I will definitely be back cus those enchiladas are life i've never tasted anything like that in my life So if you're in the neighborhood come check them out katie will treat you like family

The food is amazing!!! I really enjoyed it and the staff was so nice. The environment was also very cool. We ordered the trash can nachos, street corn, & Machaca burrito. We also had their drinks, a mango margarita and a michelada. Everything was so delicious. I would 100% return.

This place is inside Harrahs. Nothing fancy, just the typical casual Mexican fair with an American twist. (We call it Tex-Mex, but I have no idea what its called in this area of the US) We walked up and were asked of we had a reservation. I recommended you make a reservation. We said no and were offered a small table or seat at the bar. We opted for the bar and thus begun our experience. We enjoyed some great service and margaritas from the bartenders. The bar was clean, and we got the obligatory chips and salsa. The hunger level wasn't high so we were looking for small dishes/appetizers. He really just wanted 1 taco but we were told they don't serve "a la carte" items. So he opted for the appetizer quesadilla. I'm told the sauce that comes with it is "amazing". I had the ceviche, which is a twist on a traditional ceviche. Good, not great/amazing, but satisfied the hunger level. The price is on point for the area and what you get. Overall, it was a positive experience. Want a good margarita? Stop here!

So I finally decided to try this place out, I was greeted at the door and asked to sit at the bar which was completely empty at the time. Not long after I sat down a very pleasant woman brought me a huge basket of warm chips and two bowls of salsa. The chips were fresh and dusted with a chili lime salt, and the salsa was delicious. I ordered the build your own platter and a tall beer. The food came out ridiculously quickly which is usually a bad sign. My platter consisted of a red chili pork enchilada, a fish taco, and a so called Al pastor quesadilla. It also came with ranchero beans and rice, both of which were quite good. The enchilada was ok, but barely Luke warm, the quesadilla was an absolute joke, it was a small tortilla with some cheap yellow cheese and very dry al pastor, folded like a taco. The fish taco was so disappointing, the breading was soggy, and the fish was mushy not flaky. Overall the meal was a bit disappointing, but service was very good and the staff were very friendly. But I can't recommend this place for anything other than a beer or two and the complimentary chips and salsa.

Not going to make a long speech here. It was ok, not great. Prices are on par for what you would expect for a place inside a hotel in Laughlin. The jalapeño appetizer is really good though. The service was good too. The host was on point for sure. I had to try their make your own playe. The enchiladas with southwest beef was not good. The chicken verse was meh? And the al pastor taco was the best part. Their house brand tequila isn't any better than Cuervo IMO though. Meh.. Definitely won't be going back.

Honestly... my star is for Kerry and accessibility. Kerry was so kind and accommodating. She helped me and my family make a reservation. However, Brett, our waiter, was a sadistic deadpan person. It threw me for a loop that they would even hire someone like him. He was such a dry & out of touch person that we felt unwelcome. Tbh I felt like we were a burden. We asked him for chips and drinks several times. Did we get them? No... lol. It was funny because the manager came out to see how we were doing. And that was it lol. She left. Brett needs a new job. This ain't it. Also the restaurant is very mid. Nothing is clean. It feels like a sports bar or an Applebees. Sticky and stinky. Nothing here is CLEAN..... Will I be back? Absolutely not.

Got reservations for 4pm! Staff was super friendly and helpful! Got the build your own boracha plate! The fish taco was the best I have ever had!! Love the crema sauce on it!! The green chili chicken enchilada was so flavorful. The steak quesadilla was ok. Meat in it was fabulous! I'll be back again soon!

We were disappointed they were closed on Wednesday or we made sure we dine on Thursday. We were visiting Laughlin for a family reunion. We had a large party and they accompanied us quietly. One person ordered a beer and they don't have IPA. Another order we placed concerning a specialty type of beans and they didn't have that either. They provided plenty of chips and salsa which as tasty. Once I got my tostada, I noticed the carne asada was cold. I asked the waitress if this is the way the dish is prepared? She said no sorry about that. She didn't care if the dish was below standards. Since we were with a large group, I wasn't going to bother her again. The problem is we were so excited to try this place out but when we left we decided been there done that. Was so disappointed in the experience especially it has Guy Fieri's name. Overall wasn't impressed. .

Great Mexican Food!!! I've trie most of the selections and everything has been delicious. Chips and salsa were great.

I'm not sure if it's because of closing time or times are just tough here. I came in just after 8pm, 19 min before closing as I was informed, so I got my order to go. $2 up charge for to go orders but hey, I get it. So $19 later I walked out with this and I can't tell begin to explain how disappointing it was. The first time I went I received 2 of the 8oz containers in place of the 16oz container as it was explained to me, but this time it was a joke. 0/10 recommend, save your time and money no matter how hungry you might be UPDATE : The number they give you a no good, nothing but a tourist trap

This place is crazy expensive and guy needs to shut it down and re train his waiters . Went with friends and had a big nacho and waiter insults all of us telling us they take credit cards . No class waiters here . I won't be back !

We had dinner in the Laughlin Mexican restaurant, the waitress came to the table with chips and salsa, and informed us that they made the salsa and it is very hot, spicy so true, we could not eat. Then we ordered dinner my Mom ordered enchiladas and they were way to spicy and watery, I ordered the taco salad beef, and the beef was horrible, some kind of spice ingredient that was not very tasting. Not a good first time experience.

I am clearly a glutton for punishment as this is the restaurant I chose. One of Mr Fieris restaurants that only are memorable for the lack of anything that could be from "Flavortown" and the time spent in the bathroom that follows. Service was good. 3 for 3 in 3 different locations 3 different states. All ending with disappointment and dysentery. The makers of Imodium thank you, Mr. Fieri, for keeping them in business.

Excellent service from the greeter to the chip lady and our server! Cute restaurant and comfortable. The music not too loud. The chips and salsa rocked! And we got more salsa and did not have to pay for it. They allowed us to split a meal without an up-charge as well. My only issue is the high price for the amount of food you get. The burrito was a decent size with decent amount of meat but the rice and beans were miniscule amounts. HOWEVER, those pinto beans were AMAZING! I have never had any beans with that hint of what tasted like nutmeg? At first I was like, "What???" but after a couple bites I loved them! Too bad I only got a few bites. I would eat here again but next time def get the fajitas because they were made to order and sizzling when they came out around us.

We stopped in for adult beverages and appetizers. It was a solid food experience. I had the mojito and there were a couple of margaritas ordered, too. We snack on the complimentary chips and salsa and added an order of queso and the elote to nibble on as a table. We had a fabulous server- Jessica- who was quick with refills and a smile. She really added to the experience. A nice option at Harrahs Laughlin that was open until 10pm. We may return for entrees later in the week.

We have been to this restaurant once two years ago and it was delicious. We had dinner there last night and it was not as we were remembered it two years ago. First off, we sat down at a table that we could feel was dirty with our hands and hadn't been wiped down properly as the surface was very sticky. After that, we ordered steak fajitas which the presentation was awful. The beans and rice were mixed together thrown in one bowl and then given the steak platter. No other sides like sour cream, cheese, pico, etc.. no honestly, if that is as bad as it got, we could've lived with that and maybe just not went back as excited as we were this time. But unfortunately, shortly after eating the steak fajita meal we receive food poisoning and we're both up all night sick to our stomachs. Sadly, Harrah's Casino in Laughlin doesn't have a lot of good food choices and this used to be one of them.

Food was pretty decent. Service was excellent ambience was just so so. Definitely try the trashcan nachos. Everything else is just like another Mexican restaurant.

Ryan the manager asked me to reach out to him but every time I call it says I have to call Harrah's or go onto to Open table to make reservations. Very frustrating.

Food was amazing for them being packed it was not delaying our service and our waitress was so nice fast friendly I don't remember her name but she was skinny with tattoos amazing server

I was looking forward to eating at Guy Fieris' restaurant in Laughlin. When I take a trip to a location, I research where I will eat and what looks good. At this location in Laughlin, online it showed a limited menu on Tuesday's so I planned on going Wednesday. Upon arrival we were informed that it was a limited menu even though the outside menu showed the complete menu. There was also a table stanchion showing a special. When asked the waiter stated that that was not available either. We were disappointed and left the restaurant because we were planning on tasting items not on their limited menu. (BTW the table was sticky also).

Undercooked chips, overcooked food. Would be a basic 2-star but not at $110 for 2 people with one drink each

They have amazing veg options ; although not displayed on menu when you order they ll give you veg nachos, enchiladas,fahitaja and vegi bowl ! We tried the bow and fajitas both were amazing ! Quantity was good and tasty . I tried their cocktails without alcohol (virgin) and that was awesome too! Surely recommend this place for veg lovers

Service here is great and you can pay with Caesars comps which is nice and makes the high menu prices seem better in the end. Cadillac margarita is huge, so it's worth the almost $20. The blackberry mojito was about the same price and way too sweet and not great. Trash can nachos are expensive but a must have. They are so great. The chicken fajitas were disappointing. You get what appeared to be one tiny chicken breast cut up and some dull looking peppers and onions with not much flavor. We also got charged $5 for a tiny plate with cheese, lettuce, pico and sour cream which was ridiculous. Our friends split a beef taco salad and enjoyed it. Rice and beans are good. I always want to like this place more, as we go a few times a year, but I always leave thinking I was overcharged for bland food. Definitely not "flavor town." Trash can nachos are really the best item in my opinion. In past visits we've been underwhelmed by the tacos and enchiladas as well.

Hostess very friendly and was seated right away. Received chips n salsa and water right after we sat down. The chips have a seasoning on them that can be tangy and a lil salty but pairs nicely with the medium spicy salsa. The caliente margarita was delicious. Made with jalapeño and cilantro and a chili salt rim. Yes it has a kick. Couldn't decide so i ordered build your borracho platter. Green chili cheese burger taco, hatch green chili chicken enchilada, and a cheese quesadilla. It came with Spanish rice and charro beans. Everything was delicious. The taco had a crunchy shell and the green chili really brought the flavors together. The enchilada was spicy and not too cheese and oh so good. U can get beef, pork or chicken in ur quesadilla but I'm plain when it comes to it, so only cheese for this girl but it was still really good. Rice was nice and fluffy and had lots of flavor and the beans were a little spice and very flavorful as well. Hubs had the El Hombre burger. Very strange to have beans on a burger but it made this burger even better. Patty cooked perfectly, with pepper Jack cheese, avocado, shredded cabbage, and donkey sauce. Have no clue what was in it but very good. Came with home made chips and was a lil bland but still good. Really liked this place better than the one in the Flamingo in Las Vegas. Wish I lived closer but when I'm in the area I will definitely be back!! Make sure to sit in Kayde's section. She gave us great service!!! Very cutely decorated,clean but a lil worn. Give it character!

Maybe it was because it was a concert night but the service here wasn't that great. You would think they would be used to being busy before a concert so maybe that wasn't the issue. Make sure to make a reservation because many people without them were being turned away. Our server was very slow BUT I do acknowledge that he was running around and staying busy. Drinks were good but the food was just average. I had the green chili chicken enchiladas and they were ok but kinda boring.

Good service had the best server her name is bo! So sweet and always checked on us ! She made sure our food was correct after giving us wrong item and was patient after my son threw a fit . Ask her she's the best !!

Should be 4.5 stars. We are super pleased we came here. We really enjoyed our food it was superb, along with our service with Paul our bartender and server let's just say he is a gem, he has a fun flare with amazing service. Well he possibly tried to kill us lol. We were already super full but he made us salivate with his description of all deserts. This place is clean and nice we enjoyed it and will be back. So sorry no pics of our delicious food my phone died.

The food was awful. I expected more being from Guy Fieri. This was nothing of what I was expecting. The taste was bland. The only thing that tasted descent was the birria tacos. The carne asada had no flavor. You couldn't even taste the tequila in the margaritas. Waiter was saying some plates were good so my party ordered them and they were not.

Food was tasteless very disappointed, considering the hipe. Service was better than the food. I would rethink the fish tacos.

Me and my wife had Oder chicken burrito and-steak burrito .disappointed . Steak burrito didn't have that steak Flavor.chicken burrito as well no flavor. Kinda blaw. .do waste your money

They open everyday at 4pm. We came here Friday at 6pm and was seated right away. It was busy but there's still some empty tables. Our waitress started us off with complimentary salsa and chips. Salsa wasn't spicy at all. We ordered the habanero pineapple drink (spicy), jalapeño poppers flautas, and steak street tacos. Everything came out fast. Casual restaurant.

Party of 4.. Green chili enchiladas were dry and flavorless, fajitas were ok at best and tried to order 2 different cocktails but the server came back both times to tell us they didn't have the ingredients to make them. For as much as we paid for the mediocre quality of food, we should have dined at a steakhouse.

Located inside Harrah's at the end of the Laughlin "strip", this place can be really tough to get in to. We highly recommend getting reservations. We think you'll find it worth it! Definitely order drinks, they are poured the way Guy would want them. Also make sure you order some appetizers too. Obviously you will want to get the Trashcan Nachos, that's really what makes this place famous. Chips, cheese, beans, meat, crema, pickled onion all smooshed and decadently crammed into a "trash can" and then released onto a plate. OMG, heaven!! I don't care what you think about the rest of this place, you have GOT to love the trashcan nachos!!! Other apps that will make you smile are the Jalapeno Popper Flautas and the Papas Con Queso Fundido, both are worth sinking your teeth into! As for your main meal options, it is entirely up to what you prefer when you are at a regular Mexican restaurant. Although it isn't traditional Mexican, it has a wonderful spin on all the classics. They've got fajitas, salads, soup, burritos, enchiladas, tacos, and quesadillas. If I may suggest though, try something from the taqueria section. Beef birria queso tacos and green chile cheeseburger tacos are both tops on our list. But hey, if you can't decide you can always choose to make your own borracho platter which would include one taco, enchilada and quesadilla of your choice served with beans and rice... did I mention they are charro beans? Best beans! So, yes, try it... I'd say it is kinda worth the hype! Dinners run between $15-25, which isn't too shabby for a famous guy's restaurant. Thanks for consistently great service too!! CHEERS!!!

I enjoy watching Guy's restaurant shows on tv so when I came across this restaurant I thought this is gonna be good...I was completely wrong! Don't even know where to start, long wait to be sit, long wait for drinks (my brother actually had to get up and pick up our drinks from the bar), beans were salty, steak fajitas were ok but only a few pieces of meat. Service was poor too. Totally not worth the price and completely dissatisfied by this restaurant. Do not recommend.

If you're ever in Laughlin, you absolutely must eat here without a doubt, it's one of the best places to dine in Laughlin. Having visited Laughlin twice this summer, I've made it a point to eat here 1-2 times each trip. This spot has become my go-to for great food, and it never disappoints. The flavors are nothing short of amazing, and the service is consistently phenomenal. Add to that a fantastic vibe, and you have a dining experience that stands out. Start your meal with the guacamole and cheese dip - both are absolute musts. The cheese dip is a game-changer, far from your typical offering. For entrees, you can't go wrong with the delish birria tacos, the fresh fish tacos, or their traditional tacos. Each dish bursts with incredible flavors that will leave you more than satisfied. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant inside the Harrah's hotel in Laughlin. We ordered several varieties of street tacos and quest fresco with chorizo, and they were all delicious. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. They have several screens to watch sports and a nice wrap around bar.

I have never sent my food back in my 33 years but here I had to. The pork was so dry in the enchiladas and had the flavor of dog food. I asked to replace it with the beef ones, well the beef wasn't even seasoned, it was grey. The sauce was definitely from a can, Safeway select is 10x better. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the waitress was great, it's not her fault everything awful.

Came to harrahs in Laughlin fir a few days. Made reservations for 6. Got there at 6 but there was no hostess fir quite a while. Finally got seated. We were given Salsa and chips which were great. Salsa had the right amount of spice and the chips were delicious. Ordered the chicken fajitas with rice and beans sour cream and guacamole. Only down size was the there wasn't enough chicken. Otherwise it was really good. When we were handed the check the had charged extra for the sour cream and guacamole and it was a little ridiculous for the amount we were charged. They should tell you that there is a extra charge that's really the only downside to the dinner. I would return here if I come back

I LOVE the trash can nachos things they have. My daugher loves coming here too. Anytime we're in this area, we stop here. The service is always great. The place is clean. Never any issues. The vibe is always good. On weekends and summer, the lines can be very long. So expect that and plan around it.

I am a big Guy Fieri fan. I was looking forward to going to this restaurant and was so disappointed. The hostess was extremely rude and acted as though it was a problem to find us a table without reservations when there was clearly empty tables available. The food was horrible . I ordered the chicken fajita with caramelized vegetables. It came burnt and the chicken was dry as a bone.I couldn't even eat it we complained at the front desk and they apologized and said it's not normally like that. I believe Guy Fieri needs to make a visit his restaurant, retrain his employees . if I were Guy Fieri as famous as he is in the food industry, I would not want my name on this restaurant. I wish I could post the picture but there's no place to post it. I would never recommend this restaurant.

Where's the Flavortown? Rice has no flavor. Chips and salsa were good. Stepson got Fajitas but only three shells. My wife got a kids meal but once again rice was bland. I got a taco salad but had to pay 3 dollars more for ground beef. Too expensive and really disappointed. Maybe Guy needs to sell.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but I feel like this is a must. We went in with a party of 9 (5 adults, 4 kids). Everything was fine until we put the orders in. The wait times were very long. We are talking 20 minutes for 2 sides of guacamole and 45 minutes for the entrees. The server was nice and was trying but man, what is going on in the kitchen? That said, I'm not one to complain about wait on food, and when the food came out it was above average. The thing that really got me to sit and write this review was what happens at the end. My cousins wife said, oh wow, looks like a sticker, as she pulled out a sticker of an avocado from one of the guacamole bowls. This happened at the very end of the meal. I called the server over and explained to her the situation, and what we got was, we are so sorry about that. I eat out 5-6 nights a week, when there is something wrong with the food, and especially something so obvious and egregious, you need to at MINIMUM comp that item if not a few other items. We got none of that. We got the bill, and we ended up paying for a sticker guacamole. They really need to get their shit together in the kitchen and the sever should have brought the sticker situation to the manager to make a decision. Instead, we have a one star review which is well deserved but never needed to happen with simple communication from server to manager OR better kitchen practices.

I was seated and noticed the tables were not clean. Sticky surface to every table. I called the manager over and she said all the tables are like that. No. If Guy Ferris was notified, they're using his name with dirty tables. He would put his foot dawn. Harrah casino hasn't reached out. The manager was fine with me leaving. Lost revenue for the casino and guy. Horrible place to spend money, no happy hour or special. Wake up. Clean your table or refinish them.

Terrible service.. We thought Shawn was our server at first. He brought us all water and chips. We asked him to put in an appetizer for us and he promptly told the server to put it in for us. Our server finally came over after 10 or more minutes.. She was very nice but we had to ask about our food?? The table across from us started talking to us about how they were waiting to order and how they stood outside forever just to sit down.! The server NEVER came back to check on us!. We asked the manager for our check!. She never brought it!. We sat there waiting for that as well!. And this entire time I'm pretty Shawn was the only employer working!. Go Shawn!. Food wasn't that good and kind of cold!. The manager should have noticed or at least asked us when we asked her for our check!.

Not only is the food amazing we had the chicken hatch green chili burritos, which were incredible and there are beans and rice. Are unlike anything I've ever had! Our waiter Adrian was amazing, he was engaging and efficient, leaving us wanting for nothing! We went back the next night for takeout in the room and it was just as good as it was! I would highly recommend us if you are in town.

Third time here, first review. Food is good, not high salt like many restaurants, we've had fish tacos, grilled and fried, carne asada tacos, all very fresh and tasty, burritos ( carne asada and Hatch chile) both really tasty. The table salsa is really nice, perfect blend of spicy zinger and tomato. Service was great, all three times. Last time especially, Brett was only waiter working and he was prompt, polite, his bus guy was quick with ice waters, chips and salsas.

We gave this place another try and it disappointed. The hostess was in no hurry in trying to help us get a table for 2. The waiter was friendly and good customer service. The food wasn't that good. It's sort of like below a Tex/Mex style flavor. It was bland and not fulfilling to the taste buds. Drinks are decent. Ambience is is nice.

Staying at Harrahs so decided to eat here. I saw some of the reviews aren't that great but we really enjoyed it. Service was great and everyone super friendly. We loved the table chips and salsa. Salsa is delicious and has a spicy kick. We had the carne asada chimichanga and trash can nachos both really good. This isn't super authentic but it's still really good. The nachos go down well with a tall Pacifico. My husband enjoyed the Cadillac Margarita. Prices are about what everyone charging these days. Fun atmosphere after some gambling, totally recommend.

Adrian did a great job with the service food was almost as good as service when we come back we will for sure ask for him

Adrian was one of the best servers I have had in a while. He was very attentive and patient with us. He recommended fish tacos and they were amazing.
