Google
Oh my!! A good authentic gyros is hard to find these days. well, look no farther this is your place. I was looking for a local restaurant and this is where I was directed and now I know why. The place is super cute and very cozy inside. The food was absolutely terrific. It was ready within a few minutes and there was plenty of seating inside. I was not pressured into ordering a bunch of extra things that I did not need, but to decide to get a combo with fries and a drink. It was very reasonable, considering things from restaurants these days. I also noticed while I was eating that there were a bunch of delivery drivers that came in and out of the store. If I was a good sign because people want the food to go, even if they can’t get to the restaurant. oh, I’m looking forward to coming back to this place. Thanks for the great experience and level of hospitality. And of course, make sure to get a baklava on your way out their made in house from scratch and a few choices too. Thanks again to everyone who made this experience extra special.

Google
I’ve passed this place several times to go to another nearby Meditation place. I decided to try it out tonight and my dinner was AMAZING!! The service was equally amazing. The food was fresh and the portions were large. I have enough leftover for lunch and probably a late night snack. I’ll be back for sure.

Google
Amazing food!!!! Phenomenal service and even better food with high quality and great prices. Everything was so fresh, and exceeded our expectations. So thankful to have found this gem in the neighborhood!

Google
Wife and I had a good time last night. Kaya helped us pick some tasty food items and desserts. She took great care of us and we appreciated her spirit. We were there late and we did not feel rushed at all. We will be back soon 10/10! Edit: added pictures from day after we went back and got take out because our lefts went bad in our refrigerator which broke overnight.... couldn't not finish my food so needed to get some more!!

Google
Saw a sign that said Gyros Town (thought it was a great name) so my Son Wyatt & I dropped in for lunch. Glad we did—super fresh hummus and tasty gyros! 🥙👌 If you’re ever off Colorado & I-25 in Denver, definitely worth a stop.

Google
I always drive by and can smell the food in the air but never stop by due to my busy schedule but today I stopped in and let me tell you this spot is absolutely amazing!!!! walked in and felt right at home jasmine is so welcoming, food is out of this world well seasoned and big on portions. But my absolute favorite was dessert the coffee with the baklava just hit different! Definitely recommend to check out!

Google
Hands down the best gyros in town—packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and served fresh every time. The service is just as impressive: friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. This place is a hidden gem, and I’m all about supporting small businesses like this one. Do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t be disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The only thing is it did smell a bit like cleaner, but at least it’s clean! 🧼

Kevin

Google
Took the food to go to eat at my house….It didn’t make it, I ate it in the truck it smelled too good. The Gyro smacks it was delicious and authentic. Don’t judge the place by the looks *needs a bit of cleaning* but the food is really good.

Yelp
Wow- what a treat! We came on a whim with our two small children- lots of food so we chose a couple meals with an extra salad and split everything. BEST BEEF SKEWERS- so tender and not fatty. The chicken skewers were also tasty. Perfect yellow rice, and mmmmmmmm hummus! We enjoyed the desserts as well. We'll be back!

Yelp
Just updated my review from last time that mentioned the odd flavor of the rice. All good this time and just loved all the food. Thank you Celia for the complimentary baklava. Love this place.

Jeanne C.

Yelp
First time here and we can't wait to return. The dining room is basic but the food is not! The chicken shawarma and the lamb shank were tender and perfectly seasoned. Gyros Town is a fantastic little spot for a casual sandwich or a full meal.
google avatar

Yelp
The name and exterior are unassuming, but they have a full menu (not just gyros) and an amazing lamb shank! From start to finish, the lamb shank meal was on point. It started with a salad that was simple, but very fresh and had the right amount of dressing, and then came the main plate with rice, hummus and the lamb shank. The rice and hummus were both really tasty. But the lamb shank - wow! It was served in a hearty broth with potatoes and carrots, like a stew. Every bite of the lamb was fall off the bone tender, and plenty of marrow in the bones too. Service was laid-back and friendly. When I ordered the lamb shank she said "good choice." That's the thing to get.

Yelp
Food so good! Best chicken shwarma with rice sandwich combo!! The only reason I stopped eating was because the place got empty! Lol I Highlands reccomend you try it!

Sara S.

Yelp
I ordered a combo kebab through DoorDash with one soft drink. They delivered the food but no drink, and the food quality was awful, shish kebab and chicken kebab, and the kifte kabab was completely dry. I never recommended.

Yelp
Gyros Town is a true gem! The chicken shawarma and gyros are packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and the baklava is heavenly. Amazing food, warm ambiance, and top-notch service make this spot a must-visit for Mediterranean lovers!

Yelp
Not sure about the ratings on this restaurant... The chicken shawarma was extremely bland and had an almost off aftertaste. The sauces included helped a bit but they still weren't enough to improve the lack of seasoning. The pita and hummus were delicious but I wouldn't return only for those.

Yelp
It's located in an old building dying to be renovated. After carefully maneuvering the pot holes and crowded parking lot, we were able to secure the space. About 6 pm, one customer was inside. Decided to check the other restaurant which appeared to be more modern. Only one customer also. Saw gyro platter for $19.99 and, after looking at the Yelp rating, decided to try this place. Not so impressed 1st of all, the waitress was busy talking on her cell phone face timing and couldn't careless about customers. She motioned us to grab a table while chatting onnthe phone. After seating down, she brought two menus and went back to the counter. She was back at it again. Place was loud with music and her voice added to the noise assault to my ears. Since she didn't take the order and I didn't know the steps, I got up to order at the counter. She motioned me to sit down and she came over to take the order. Our grape leaves and salad came out quickly. About 5 minutes later, our food came out to the counter, but she was busy trying to take care of phone orders. The grape leaves were good. Side salad was plain but ok. The gyro plate was ok. Hummus and rice were well seasoned and loved it. The interior of the restaurant is old and didn't look too clean. Looks like the floors are new. I can also smell the faint sewage order. Good thing it didn't get worse. If I was doing the takeout, I would have given 4 stars or higher on their food. For in dining experience, two at the best. If I gave a 5-star review, I would have gotten the baklava. That's what the handwritten sign suggests. I may come back and try the other meat combo. Wish me luck!

Yelp
This place reminds me of the restaurant that my Lebanese grandmother would bring me to. Food was the best Lebanese food I've had in CO other than Safta. Food was made quick and Jasmine was so kind and helped me right away
google avatar

Ivelisse B.

Yelp
Along with the delicious food and fast service, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our six person table. Shout out to our amazing server, a young woman with curly hair, for her patience and the free dessert! Will definitely be returning soon.

Yelp
Believe the reviews. Been here 3 times the last month - hasn't disappointed once. We've had the gyro with hummus plate, beef sambrosas, chicken shawarma wrap lunch. All delicious. Parking a little tricky. Worst case park around the corner in the neighborhood. Come support a great local business.

Yelp
We got the beef and chicken shawarma arabi (distinct because it's crunchy) Ambiance is great and smells delicious. The food is excellent. The service was amazing

Yelp
The food is very good here.. order at the counter... lamb kabobs were amazing. They also make fresh pastries as well.

Yelp
It had gotten late and we were so hungry. We selected this restaurant because they appeared to be open until 10 PM. When we said we wanted to dine in, we were told they were closing at 9:30. That still gave us ample time to eat. This place is along a row of international restaurants. Inside, it's not huge, but it's cozy and clean. The Gyros plate was large and came with a salad. The presentation was beautiful. The ingredients were obviously fresh, and the meal was delicious.

Yelp
Smelled like sewer upon entering but hubby wanted to go here. Our table was dirty and I asked the young woman up front with super long manicured fingernails to clean it which she tried but did a poor job. A man came and asked about drinks but I didn't get my hot tea for 10 minutes. They said they had to "make" it in back. Weird. Hot water and a tea bag in a cup needs to be made? It's very chaotic inside with people coming and going behind the counter and in the kitchen and not any clear idea of who our server was. The interior was shabby and dirty and dusty. The curtains tied in knots. The menus had sticky food on each laminated page and saw that the "servers" didn't do much cleaning at all. No utensils were provided. No napkins were given. My hot tea was plopped in front of me without a spoon or any sweeteners. However, their black tea brand they gave me was really delicious with a hint of cardamom. I reluctantly ordered food and it came out pretty fast. The portions were generous and actually tasted good but not great. The tzatziki wasn't garlicky at all. The gyro meat was a little bland and the rice beneath my meat was not piping hot. The food didn't taste like true Greek gyros and Greek hummus. The pita wasn't made fresh in house and one can tell. The last nail in the coffin for this place was the cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen into the dining area. This place is ugly and dirty and I will not be back.

Yelp
I'd recommend the gyro plate which is what I usually get. If you get the gyro sandwich and don't want buffalo sauce on it make sure you tell them. It's not in the menu but they put it on there. Service is always great.
google avatar

Yelp
Sooooo good. Service was kind and warm and Made me feel welcomed. The food was exactly what I was craving. I will definitely be back to this authentic restaurant but not too soon as I spent $30, to included for this plate. No regrets haha

Carissa

Yelp
Went here with friends and ordered the gyro. Super flavorful and balanced. Lovely service and clean ambiance.

Yelp
I took a snapshot of our receipt (so you can see yourself). The food is getting UP-CHARGED way too high. It's out of control. My next stop is The Baghdad Restaurant. PARKING at Gyro Town is the worst!! And the rice is greasier than most.
google avatar

Breana S.

Yelp
I was exhausted and didn't feel like cooking so I quickly opened up a food delivery app because I was craving a gyro. I've had some pretty mediocre Mediterranean food in the past so I didn't have high expectations, but I was hungry. Wow, was I blown out of the water. I ended up getting the three skewer platter some baklava a euro and a large side tzatziki because I'm obsessed with the stuff. Everything was absolutely A+. Usually when I get platters the rice isn't flavorful and the side salad I could do without, but man this had me scraping the container. Everything was so delicious and so well SEASONED! I can't wait to eat here again and try some of the many items. I wish I could include a picture, but I wolfed it down too fast. If you're starving and aimlessly browsing delivery apps, just go with this place.

Yelp
Expensive for what it is. A plate, appetizer and drink cost nearly $40. Pita seemed eerily similar to that I bought bagged at Sprouts. Some items I ordered cost more when rung up than they were advertised on the menu. I was not confident in the cleanliness of the restaurant. It just felt dingy, though it was clear from the ambient air that cleaning products were being used.

Yuyun H.

Yelp
Love the food! Definitely will be back for more. Love the baklava and lamb gyro next time will try different kinds

Yelp
The food here was really fresh, the ingredients seemed to be high quality, the flavors seemed to be very authentic, and the staff was friendly and smiling. The portion sizes are generous and we left the place stuffed. The prices I thought were very good as well, under $30 lunch for two is hard to find these days! We got the Gyro Sandwich and Falafal appetizer. The falafal balls especially were really big and the gyro sandwiches had a ton of meat in them. We liked how the gyro meat was not extremely salty like a lot of other gyros, and also how the pitas were thin but stayed together really well. There were also caramelized onions instead of raw onions in the gyro which was different and unique to us. The flavors of the gyro were a little muted though but still present, so not the best gyro I've ever had but it was still really good. Given the high quality of the food this is the type of place I'd consider coming back to try something new. They have a lot of other items on the menu besides gyros that we've never tried and this seems like the type of place that we could revisit to expand our horizons.

SD d.

Yelp
This place is overpriced and below average food. We ordered some food for lunch that included chicken Gyro sandwich and beef kabobs. Chicken sandwich dressing overpowered any chicken flavor, poor chicken quality that also cost $10 for a lunch sandwich. Needed to add bbq sauce to flavor beef kabob made from ground meat and also not fresh and chewy. Only one beef tiny kabob for lunch was $8.

Yelp
Usually 5 stars as this was our favorite place to get food especially during stress free high nights. We highly recommend the gyros plate and the meat combo. For the past 2 years we have been coming here basically every month. However, the price gauging and the tipping screen has been absurd. For to-go orders the tipping screen asks for 30-40%. Also, our regular orders increased from $35 to $50. Just for those two items! If it was 10-20% we would tip every single time and feed into the toxic tipping culture but this is crazy. We've ignored this for months but the sudden price increase without notice just killed it for us. We love supporting small businesses but this is the second time they've increased their prices in 2 years. It's the largest price jump I've seen at any establishment. This place just gives us bad aura now.. Despite how much we love the food, I can't justify coming here anymore. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise as we will be checking out other places. Thanks for the memories and the delicious tummies. If you don't mind paying up the butt for Mediterranean food you can get anywhere else then it's a good spot.

Bill D.

Yelp
This review is for the new location in LIttleton that just opened. Had dinner 12/20/2024, we ordered the Chicken & babaganoush plate and the Hummus appetizer. Super happy with the food. I typically like babaganoush more than hummus. In this case both were fantastic. So glad to see a mediterranean place re-open in Littleton. I would recommend this place.

Mercer D.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and the food never disappoints, always somewhere that I can count on getting a good meal for a damn good price. Everything tastes like it was made with love and care like your grandmother cooked it for you. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and always makes sure that you have everything you need going out of their way to ensure you have the best possible experience. A hidden gem in my opinion. Everyone should come try it at least once because you come once, you'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Chicken Shawarma plate. Our family was looking for a late dinner option and stumbled across Gyrostown. Wow. What a find! Food and service was great. I highly recommend. We will be back!

Yelp
I didnt get a chance to try the gyros but came here for dessert. Cozy spot for baklava and friendly service. Would recommend this place!

Yelp
Great menu and delicious food. We had shawarma and Gyros. Can't wait to try the Shawarma Arabi next time!

Yelp
It's always nice to go to the physical location of the store and see what the restaurant looks like, but yesterday's cold/snowy weather discouraged me from doing so. Hence the delivered food and it arrived just in time for my dinner. Appetizer Sampler Plate - The portion was large, I mean, it was HUGE might be more accurately describe it. Hummus and baba ghanoush and garlic dip were generously placed in the container. Two pieces of falafels and one piece of grape leave were gently placed on top of the dips. The smokey taste from the baba ghanoush was everywhere in the whole container and it enhanced the whole experience even as a takeout/delivery. Now, when it comes to the green bean salad, it tasted fine but it appears that they used canned green beans? To be frank, this is my second experience for this type of cuisine (the first one was with a different restaurant just to clarify) where the establishment used canned green beans for their green bean salad. Well, I understand the cost of groceries that has been skyrocketing in this country, but it kind of diminishes the whole authenticity of the food/cuisine. Just wanted to mention it. Oh, I forgot to mention; the bed of saffron rice should not escape my attention. The rice was well cooked with right amount of oil. It surely enhanced the look of the whole dish. Baklava - This was a bit strange. Didn't taste bad but the sweetness you'd expect in any baklavas was very slight (which I kind of liked because I don't like overly sweet stuff.) The portion was a bit small for the price. And the overall appearance wasn't anything like other baklavas I've eaten in the past. Also, the picture on the menu was a bit deceiving. It shows two of them with the price of $3.95 so I completely thought I'd get two with that price. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with everything I got in my order. The whole food preparation and delivery time was within a reasonable range despite the peak dinner hours, I will definitely order from this place again.

Kate C.

Yelp
Really amazing food! Everything was fresh and really full of flavor. Kaya was a great waitress and really nice - excellent service and delicious.
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
Prices are typical. Our food was tasty and service was friendly, though there was no return to refill drinks or check up on customers. Ambiance was cold, literally, It was 35 degrees out and the front door was open for some reason. Someone eventually closed it. Over all I was satisfied. I do go back from time to time.
google avatar

Holly Z.

Yelp
It's either new to the menu or it's a special appetizer, they have the Beef Samosa now. I don't exactly know the ingredients besides beef, but it was really good. A lot of beef in it so it's very filling. I'm sure the popular order is the meat combo. A combination of lamb, chicken, and kafta, includes salad, hummus, bread, and rice. The chicken was a little dry but the lamb and kafta were great. Although I prefer my meat thinly sliced, with the thicker cut you can see its juicer. Lamb chops are marinated and char-broiled, served with rice, salad, hummus, and pita. Good size of food and the meat marinated very well. The only downside is the lamb chops contain more fat than I expected.   The staff is friendly, and they have a great suggestions. The lady even check-in with me afterward to ensure that I like their suggestions. They started from a food truck to now serving great meals in a restaurant. If you're into Gyros Town, you better be great at parking. Not only the strip has limited parking space, but the space to park or back out is a nightmare. So good luck during busy hours!

Bryce K.

Yelp
The food was incredible! I went with family and had a great time. They also have really good chai tea!

Yelp
YES, It's THAT GOOD!!! I kept seeing adds for this place on my Facebook and Instagram accounts. The "commercial" pictures looked amazing. I did not expect the displays to look even better in person!! Wow! My plate looked so pretty!! The food is beyond amazing, as is the service. I really appreciate everything they are doing here. I will be back for repeat business!!
google avatar

Yelp
This place always delivers fast and delicious food with great service!! Easy location with good parking on S. Colorado Blvd.

Yelp
Amazing food, excellent service. Stopped in on a Monday afternoon and was seated quickly. Cute little place with a nice vibe. Our waitress was wonderful and took great care of us. The baba ganoush was outstanding and the gyro melted in your mouth. And the baklava was some of the best we have ever had! Support this local business, you won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered delivery from Gyros Town one night after discovering my preferred mediterranean place was closed. I honestly regretted the choice, and was a little perplexed by all the good reviews. Perhaps it was an off night, but the food in general was lacking in flavor (other than salt), was cold, and the falafel only partially cooked. Given other options, I'm unlikely to try this again.
google avatar

Jelena L.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Hands down best chicken shawarma! The chicken was very tender and flavorful. Everything we had was perfect! Will be back!
google avatar

April D.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Denver. I have come here so many different times and it's always the best quality of food and customer service. The plate is so filling and full of flavor. The baklava is also so yummy! 10/10.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and prices! Tiziri was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommended to check it out! We got Beef and Lamb Kabob, lamb and beef gyro, beef shawarma, lamb shank, lamb chops, baba ghanouj, baklava, kunafeh and Arabic coffee Everything was so delicious!

Yelp
I've DoorDashed from this store for awhile and couldn't take it anymore- had to try their baklava, and wasn't disappointed. Recommend!

Yelp
Ordered thru Uber Eats. A little cold with delayed traffic but the food was well worth it. Everything was flavorful and fresh.

Yelp
The staff is extremely friendly, the service is outstanding, The ambiance is impeccable. I always get food Togo and I was never disappointed. The item in the menu that I like the most is the chicken kabab Syrian style . The location of the restaurant you can't miss i

Yelp
Delicious authentic food, being from the Middle East this brings me back to home.Ruaa is a very hospitable and welcoming. The chicken shawarma and beef shawarma were juicy and flavorful. The salad was so fresh and crispy. And the ambience is clean with traditional music that warms my heart.
google avatar

FallonRaye S.

Yelp
You know, hole in the wall restaurants are really a saving grace. This little gem is a very delicious Mediterranean spot that I will absolutely be eating at again. When I was first introduced I was a little surprised how busy it was. People were spaced out in line waiting for their pick up orders. Even though it's small, tables are pushed to the side so there is enough room for spacing and standing/sitting. Parking is a bit of a nightmare (especially on a snowy, icy day) so beware. Try this place out, give them all your business!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing service, great food and you walk into a mini bakery a cozy vibe. We got their combo shawarma. Definitely coming back.
