The food here is absolutely disgusting. The night employees are extremely rude and they keep the lights low to not look appetizing and close the restaurant early. If I was the owner here, I would highly suggest having a conversation with them. I would never go back here again.

Dawn Sharp

Google
The a/c has not functioned for several years. Today the soda machine was broken. Could not get ice either. Every table was dirty as was the floor. The employee was very friendly and nice. Food fair. Will not return. Too many good options in the area.

Google
When you do go!? Ask for Nathan! Coolest Bahamian brother working there.. he’s legit. Takes his time with the food and will make you laugh while doing it. Food here is consistent and straight to the point. Reminds me of a late night Halal spot in Brooklyn vibes. I eat here a few times a month! It’s close by to my Tesla charging station so I just walk over and eat while I charge. TREAT YO SELF! Poetic Approved! 👊🏽

Google
Soo good! We recently went for the first time and loved it. Not only was the service great but the food was delicious as well. We tried the mixed platter with chicken and gyro as well as the mixed pita and loved both The ambience was great as well, they have both indoor and outdoor seating so that was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
The owner is so paranoid, he thinks people write fake reviews on is shop. Truth is he is aggressive and unprofessional. Your portion size is a joke, and the food has no flavor. For the premium price you expect premium food. Not way I would give this place anything but 1 star and I'm being generous.

Google
Walking in the store it’s nice and clean. I was immediately greeted with a smile and told I’d be helped in just a moment while the gentleman finished up with the previous customer. I ordered my go to Traditional Gyro. It was delicious! I added the falafel with some tzatziki sauce. I think they may have needed to cook slightly longer but they were alright, maybe next time I’ll grab the fries. Anyways the location is great with plenty of stores to walk off a fully belly. I’m sure I’ll be back!

Google
This place is very nice, fresh meat cooked in front of you. Everything was fresh. I got the 2 meat wrap. I wish I would have eaten it there for the hot freshness of it all. The staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations on what to try. 4 stars only because the gyro slices meat was a bit too salty for my taste. But everything else was amazing. The picture is what it looked like when I finally got home and was ready to eat. I would have made a mess if I would have tried to eat it folded because it was packed with meat and toppings.

Google
Located in The Fountains plaza, Gyroville is a casual place that serves Mediterranean gyros, salads, rice, wraps, fresh veggies and sauces. After overlooking the menu, I decided to try the traditional gyro which was topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce on a warm pita bread (omitting the red onions) with fries and a small coke. I received my food and sat at an available table. The fries was hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. The gyro was tender and flavorful. I only managed to take a few bites of everything before wrapping it up to take home. Interesting experience.

Yelp
Order: Gyroville platter (chicken, greek salad, rice, pita and tzatziki sauce). I stumbled upon this spot while looking for a quick lunch. This is a Mediterranean-style fast-casual eatery, with a build-your-own concept, similar to Chipotle but with a unique twist. I couldn't resist watching the staff prepare my mixed platter at the spotless prep area. Each bite was packed with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Count me in as a regular! With the location being in the Fountain Plaza, parking can be a challenge depending on the time of day you visit.

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting place. Please avoid it! Starting from the food to the staff everything was wrong here. The food wasn't just old, it was spoilt and they told us they can't help us and we have to deal with it with uber eats.

Jito B.

Yelp
Missing half of order and what was delivered was wrong. Will not order again from this place, should not sell on Uber if you can't get the order correct....

Yelp
Nice lunch spot! I got their gyro platter which comes with rice, salad, pita, and sauces. They had lots of great sauces to choose from - I tried their green sauce, hummus, and feta tzatziki. It was clean with seating inside and outside. We came early for lunch so there was no wait and it was also empty so we received prompt service.

Todd S.

Yelp
This place is a disaster! I walked in as it opened and the place was disgustingly dirty. Food / meat on the floor and counter. I asked for a gyro; they pulled shaved meat out of a storage bin and threw it on a flat top while squirting oil on top of the meat as it was heating up. What happened to carving it from the rotisserie? Lettuce was rotten. Call ing the health department immediately. Threw the gyro in the garbage on the way out after spending $14.

Seacabo E.

Yelp
The service is great. The place is clean and welcoming. Unfortunately the food is gross. I can't eat that stuff. I ordered a Philly gyro. It had this gross tasting white sauce. It tasted like pure vinegar. I pass if I were you. My tongue still stings.

Yelp
Went to this Gyroville with my family of five and everyone was satisfied with their food. Two of us had the gyros, two of us had the mix which has both gyro meat and chicken on it and I had the falafel. Two of us had fries with our meals and one had the stuffed grape leaves. My falafel consisted of 3 pieces of falafel and most places will normally put in 4 pieces. Not that big of a deal as it was still good. Not the best I've eaten but it was good. I like that you can get it custom made with whatever toppings you want on it. Their hummus and tzaziki sauce is great and the toppings were nice and fresh. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside. It was very clean in there and the servers were very nice. I would go back there again but maybe stick to a gyro because I've eaten them at other Gyrovilles and I prefer them to the falafel.

Yelp
This gryoville is the closest to me and I'm glad it's close because it's the best one that I have been to, by far! The staff was friendly right from the get go and welcoming. I came with my wife who was here for an event and they walked us through everything they had on the menu. I decided to get the mixed spicy gyro which comes with chicken and gyro and then filled with whatever I want. I got tzaziki, olives, lettuce, onions and cuxumbers. Everything was super fresh and while the meats were both good, there really wasn't any heat to it so I was a little disappointed. Overall though the food was great! I got a side order of the grape leaves and they were basic as well, not my favorite but good enough to eat! If you order a combo you get a fountain drink for free. The staff was super friendly and the two guys working were super fast with pumping out the orders and they continuously changed their gloves making me very grateful and happy to see they cared about cross contamination. The interior of this place was nicely themes however you can tell this place is dated and definitely needs a face-lift. Overall a great gryoville and I'll definitely be back in the future!

Yelp
I returned here after having a disappointing experience two years ago. They had wonderful staff today who were friendly and helpful. My chicken pita was enormous and the fries were on point! I was happy to see they added more seating and I love the atmosphere and music. Wonderful ambiance for a weekend lunch. Had such a good meal that I double tipped - first when I paid on my credit card, and again in the tip jar on the counter.

Yelp
Was in the mood for some mediterranean and stopped by Gyroville located in The Fountains plaza. It's in the inner part of the plaza with street parking directly in front of the restaurant. There are some other shops on the row so finding a spot can be tricky if come by at busy hours. If there isn't anything in front there is always plenty of spots in the lot around it. The staff was all very friendly and eager to help with my order. I did the make your own Pita with chicken. There were a ton of veggie ingredients to pick from. The pita bread was so good, very soft and fresh. The tzatziki is one of my favorite sauces and it did not disappoint here, it's made well. The gyro was a decent size and was very good. I ordered a side of fries as well and those were amazing. I'm not sure if they double fry them to get an extra crisp but they were very crunchy (my favorite). I can't stand a soggy french fry so these definitely hit the spot for me. The total was around $17 for a gyro, fries and a drink which honestly is a lot for what you are getting. But never the less it all tasted good and what I was craving. Overall had a great experience here and definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a great pita meal!

Yelp
Food was okay but did not make my top list of Mediterranean places in the area. The vegetables and meat diet seem all that fresh either

Yelp
Was in the mood for Gyros so I looked up Yelp and gyroville popped up on my list. I'm so glad I came here, gyroville is a fast concept Eatery similar to Chipotle or any place where you could build your own pita, Bowl, or salad. I ordered a regular gyro with my choice of fixings and we also got a gyro Bowl with rice, lettuce and all the toppings. Their sauces are fresh and tasty and I was able to get the sauce on the side for one of the Gyros that I took to go. We also tried Greek fries that were topped with tomatoes feta cheese and special sauces, that was a very tasty side. To finish we tried the baklava that was super juicy one bit and into but not overly sweet. The staff at this location is extremely nice and accommodating and I happened to run into the owner as well. She came up to us and made sure our experience at gyroville was exceptional. Parking is free in the shopping plaza and I will definitely be back to have some yummy Gyros.

Yelp
If I could give more stars I would! The food, the service, everything is 10/10! I had been here years ago and it was good but now it was even better. I tried their Pita melt and was taken back by how flavorful it was! Their mixed grill platter was also delicious and brings a little bit of everything so you get a nice variety in one plate. I loved that they are 100% halal. The ingredients were all very fresh, everything is prepared and cooked for you right there where you can see. The shawarma was so good! The flavors, the thinness to it.. perfection! If you've been wondering about it, let me assure you... you will love this place!

Yelp
Ordered from Uber Eats two for the price of one Gyro the Gyro had very little meat it was the worst Gyro I've ever eaten. Miami subs is way better that's not saying a lot would not recommend this place.

Yelp
Inedible. First impressions, debris on the floor. No one at the front to greet. Then a guy pops out from the back, totally apathetic, disheveled in appearance. I was almost regretting my decision walking in here. Cutting boards are dirty, dirty rags, dirty knives the same dirty knife used to chop my chicken gave me a little piece of chicken. I asked for more charged me extra. Food debris on the floor behind the grill from scraping the grill and leaving grease buildup on the floor. Had my tzatziki sauce. It was bad, literally fizzing in my mouth. Rice was overcooked and it looks as if it was colored with food dye. It stained in the white Styrofoam that it came in. Chicken had no flavor dryed & overcooked, God knows how long it was sitting in the hot well. This place sucks. Take the criticism positively. Stop taking things defensively open your eyes and see the issues with your business. Poorly managed , neglected, kitchen. You can't expect people to come back for this. I wasted 19$ and had to throw away my food! Do better!

Yelp
My gps brought me to the total wine. So I was lost initially but I crossed the street and found this restaurant in the plaza next door. Upon walking in I was greeted with a cheerful hello. This was my first visit so I asked tons of questions. The entire menu was explained to me. I learned that all the ingredients were fresh and clean ingredients. I ordered the grilled chicken gyro meal. I loved how many vegetables options to choose from. The grilled chicken was well seasoned. This gyro was huge! I enjoyed this meal so much. This meal was fulfilling and it didn't leave me feeling sluggish after eating it! I enjoyed the simple decor. The walls show the story of the restaurant. It's a great lunch spot!

Yelp
Located in the fountains shop in plantation, gyroville is a great option when looking for a quick but tasty lunch or dinner. They have gyros, platters, salads, and bowls! I love a good Greek salad and gyro but during the Yelp event I decided to try the pita melt with the spicy feta tzatziki (pink). It was delish and certainly hit the spot. I'd compare it to a Greek quesadilla. Highly recommend when in the area!

Yelp
Customer service is so big to me, I was greeted immediately walking in. Staff were helpful with recommendations, checked on me to see if everything was good, great customer service. Food was fresh , well seasoned, so good. Clean establishment, good seating, definitely worth a try. Will come back soon
google avatar

Sola M.

Yelp
Awesome, flavorful platters and gyros for very reasonable prices. The establishment has been here ten years but is now under new ownership and the new owners are really taking their food to the next level!
google avatar

Josue V.

Yelp
Food was ok but with a rice bowl, water and small dessert I paid $23, $2 tip so $25 for an ok meal. Also The chicken I got was so tiny. It was not worth the price. I am at pollo tropical right now eating half a chicken rice and beans and I paid $10 and change. Now that's worth it. Lower the price and get rid of that damn tip on the computer.

Ernest P.

Yelp
Food was terrible and the staff on the phone keeps saying it's ok. I usually like this chain and order the same, it gone downhill looks like.

Roksar R.

Yelp
I came in for the Yelp Event. The staff was wonderful! I went with the traditional gyro and the grape leaves. Overall delicious and I was in and out quickly. Good option for a lunch spot!

Yelp
Thank you very much, very kind courteous service again this time. I don't come here often, but the employee who served me today was very cheerful and provided wonderful customer service ! Keep it up :) Food so delicious. My favorite chain fast casual restaurant. I highly recommend this location!

Asaf R.

Yelp
VERY SMALL PLATE with only 1 side + pita for $21 Really??? If at list it was tasty.! Don't recommend

Yelp
I wish there was a negative star feature but I guess the 1-star will do. I've tried to eat this place twice. Key phrase is tried. The first I came in one of the employees was sitting down (which I have no problem with). They saw me come in looked at me and then just went behind the counter and kept sighing. Not even a "Hello", "How can I help you?" , or "Do you have any questions?". I just felt like they really didn't want to help me so I left. Fast forward a couple months later , I am in the plaza and said let's try this again.... This time the gentleman got up from one of the tables, didn't say Hi and just stared at me again. Once again, I just walked out again because I felt the same exact way. I'm not expecting 5-star dining service but at least a hello or something would've been fine with me. So I actually don't know what the food taste like due to the horrible service before I even started to order... But I do wonder is it actually good or not... ::shrug::

Yelp
Amazing !!!! I didn't post our food since we had our 2year old and she was hungry lol.... But we had chicken pitas and some FRRESH fries !! I want to really say thank you to the staff that served us. All three of them had a wonderful attitude and were friendly. Most time good attitudes and good service go unseen. This location knows how to treat and serve people thank you !

Denise M.

Yelp
visited this location tonight around 8:50pm, the closing time states 10pm. When I walked in there were no workers present to greet me. However, I could visibly see an employee sitting in the back on their phone. I yelled out "Hello" a few times, and still the employee didn't come out, or even look up from their phone. I was highly disappointed and just left. Service: 1/5
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and really good quick food. The guys behind the counter were great. Just watched them really keep their cool with a lady who acted a fool in front of her kid. She Ordered 4 platters then after they made them she flipped out saying she didn't want that and they should make her something else. So when she writes a review saying how bad it is there--don't listen, she was 100% wrong and the workers handled her better than most would. Strong work guys. Don't let people like that ruin your day.
google avatar

Andrea D.

Yelp
One of my favorite go to spots for a quick build your own pita. The staff is always quaint, and attentive. It's usually never packed especially for being a small restaurant, and I don't know why, the gyros are so good. I get a pita, with gyro (beef and lamb meat), with lettuce and tomato, and cucumbers (if you like red onions you should definitely add that). For my sauce I like the original tzatziki sauce. It also comes as a combo, which you can get a side of fries with and a drink. I also wanted to try the spinach jalapeño tzatziki sauce so I got a side of that which was a good dipping sauce for the fries. And I have to mention the drink bc I just have to. We got the raspberry tea and mixed it with a little bit of water bc it was too sweet & it was a perfect pair for the gyro.

Katie F.

Yelp
I couldn't decide what to order, so Alexandra helped me out with recommendations. I did the build your own with a spicy chicken pita with lettuce, tomato, onion, tzatziki, cucumbers, and sweet peppers. It was absolutely amazing! The portions were great and Alexandra definitely made it with love.
google avatar

Cortney H.

Yelp
Yaaaas please! While on a work tip, my co-worker and I decided to pop in for lunch. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint!! Absolutely delicious. I had the Spicy Chicken Gyro and it was amazing!! I wish we had a Gyroville close to where we live!!
google avatar

Erika B.

Yelp
Went for the first time last weekend and fell in love instantly. The food is so fresh and tasty. There is a wide selection to choose from and the staff is so kind and friendly . I'll definitely be going by and taking my friends and family with me !!!
google avatar

Wendy S.

Yelp
This is like a Chiplote or Lime Fresh only for Mediterranean food and Gyros. Great concept, easy to order, can watch it being made..... it should be a win win. But for me, the traditional gyro meat was oddly flavorless, with barely any spices and was a bit spongy from being kept warm in a steam drawer. The lettuce, tomatoes , red onions were fine, but the tzatziki sauce had a bitter taste. Almost like it was off a bit. The side of falafal was good and the hummus was ok. It was a decent price for a meal at $12.25 but again, the food wasn't that good. I'll go back to looking for a closer place then It's All Greek To Me Grill in Pompano Beach which is AWESOME!!!!! (see my review)
google avatar

Lance A.

Yelp
I ordered twice in the last two days from this place on UberEats. First time, I did not receive 2 drinks even they they require you to choose a drink on the Platter Option for $1.90 each. I also received a Gyro platter that was not tasty at all. I decided to give them another chance to support a local Plantation Restaurant and ordered again today on Uber Eats. The Spicy Chicken salad smells so bad the person 3 chairs next to me at the bar commented. And the $4.50 cucumber salad is LITERALLY half of a cucumber chopped up with NOTHING else. I usually only leave positive reviews of places to help out locals but this was NOT GOOD, sorry.
google avatar

Jose F.

Yelp
Not your cut and paste gyro , the food is flavorful. Fast service and the team is so delightful. The staff is kind a s very inviting . I'll definitely be going back again.

Yelp
Terrible customer service at the Plantation location. We wanted a container to put my child's half-eaten gyro and take to go and they refused saying it was against their policy. He mumbled something about "re-wrapping the gyro" and they could do that but couldn't give me a container. So he was going touch a half eaten gyro that was a mess and try to re-wrap it. Very unsanitary and disgusting. As an insult he casually said I should have ordered from the kids menu when there was absolutely NO kids menu displayed anywhere. When we said we didn't see a kids menu He actually said "Well you should have asked!" Don't sit at this place to eat because they don't want you there -

allan m.

Yelp
I am a fan of Gyroville and really miss their Pembroke locations that closed after Covid. So i decided to take a ride up to this Plantation location. Wrong move- the guys working in this shop looked miserable, did not greet or made eye contact. The one preparing my sandwich appear to be bothered by my requests for ingredients and the one at the cashier was rude when i asked for salt for the fries . The bread was not warmed properly, the gyro sandwich was squished and soggy. Really disappointed at the overall experience.
google avatar

Alexa L.

Yelp
I had an extremely good and filling lunch here today. Stopped in around 1:30 and was greeted quickly by what seemed like the owner/manager and an employee. I ordered the traditional, which is a gyro w/ lettuce, onions, w/ tzatziki sauce on a pita. I normally don't like to go to chain restaurants because they usually disappoint but I can say I was surprised! The gyro meat was very flavourful and juicy and all the veggies looked freshly cut. I would definitely come back for lunch.

Chris L.

Yelp
Ordered through Uber eats and the Uber eats delivery guy was great. Food portion is obnoxiously small. My 9 years is still hungry after a full size mixed protein platter and my wife is laughing at how small her gyro sandwich is. Won't be buying from here again and if you are hungry I suggest you order from elsewhere. Halal guys got this place beat by far.
google avatar

Alan B.

Yelp
Extremely bright owner and a well run operation. Loved the food with its concentrated menu that allowed you to pick tasty and delicious meals for a reasonable price . Look forward to future visits Alan B

Yelp
This is completely unsanitary. I received my food all wrong. And when I came to turn it around my pita was filled MOLD. This is crazy I AM NEVER BUYING HERE AGAIN. I called them to let them know. Fries were soggy and burn. PITA HAD MOLD. I am telling all my friends. DISGUSTING.

Yelp
I love me a Gyroville when I need my falafel pita fix. I had the falafel pita and it was yummy. I even had fresh falafel made. Also picked up the baklava, which are yummy ! Definitely a good lunch spot ! And the staff folks are nice . Food is always solid. I also went during the weekend,( Saturday ) and it was practically empty , which is great for me to get great service. Happy gyro eating y'all ( combos and salads look great here too, so be sure to check them out too !

Yelp
I was in the area and Gyroville seemed like a good place to stop for a quick bite. I love Greek food, or at least what passes for Greek food. I have actually ever been to a couple of authentic Greek restaurants, but that's neither here nor there. I've got in line to order, and even though they were only two other people in front of me it took forever for me to place my order, and after I placed my order I had to wait another few minutes for the meat to be ready. I just got a Gyro with some toppings on it, which was pretty full, they are not stingy with their toppings! I didn't think it was going to be possible to close but it did, I did had a little bit of a hard time eating it because it was so overstaffed , but that is not really a problem now is it? I also got a free side or rice with my yelp check in offer. The food tasted good but the service wasn't as great. This is a perfectly average please. I would come back if I'm in the area and wanting to have a Gyro, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list.
google avatar

Larry P.

Yelp
I don't know what happened here, but their prices were increased and now they are charging extra for spinach. Not sure if their rent went up or they lost business and trying to make up
google avatar

Jonathan C.

Yelp
I've always passed by Gyroville but never tried it out of fear of the unknown. I actually stopped to eat here today because they had a huge menu displayed on the outside of their establishment. I found some options I liked so decided to give it a go. I was a little confused on where to go since this was my first time being here. They should have signs that say "order here" and "pay here" - if they do, I didn't see them. The food was delicious and all tasted very fresh. I always consider my first time at places kind of an experiment so I got a bunch of toppings. The lady also let me try some samples there, which I liked! I got a build-your-own rice bowl and my mom got the traditional gyro pita. We ordered a side of fries and they cooked them fresh right there in front of us - love that! My meal was about $12 and my moms was $11. We got a lot of food! I had some leftovers. I cannot wait to come back.

Karen K.

Yelp
Terrible staff. Terrible ambiance. I came there to eat by myself. No one was there only myself. 2 young men were behind the counter no smile not personality at all. Asked for fries w my food and was provided an unhappy look by one of the young men. I asked for salt for my fries and was told they don't have salt??? Was provided 3 packets of ketchup and later I got up to get more and was greeted by an irritated look that he had to give me few more. While eating the music that was playing was beyond vulgar. The F bomb left and right and several MF bombs in between I had to put my ear phones on to not listen to it. I know this is a Franchise but the owner should be embarrassed and needs to get rid of the 2 young guys as they are not representing the company at all. No stars deserved but I had to place 1 to get this posted.

Yelp
Well this was a fun little place. Dropped my wife off for shopping next door and came here to grab a bite for the first time. I actually saw this place multiple times , ate at the French cheese place next door but never came in here because of the crappy interior. So dark, gloomy and depressing inside! I'm sure it's a major turn off for customers and the reason why these guys don't get much business. It was for me. I decided to give it a try anyway. And it turned out to be a pretty good place. Pretty straightforward concept. You either order off the menu or build your own Bowl. Think Chipotle but Greek food where instead to of salsa and guacamole you build it with lamb, falafel and tzatziki. Good price, good lunch. Give it a try.

Ryan P.

Yelp
Zero stars, it wouldn't allow me to post without rating it. 26 bucks out of pocket for a low toco bell quality burrito, I ordered a gyro not a burrito. Miami subs ring a bell at what that looks like? 16 bucks alone is insane for a burrito let alone the costs adding up to the delivery which exceeded 1hr.
