Relaxed restaurant with Japanese BBQ tables plus beer, sake, and cocktails.
"Taking over the DTF space is a restaurant called Wagyu House from a company called Chubby Cattle; the new spot will offer "all-you-can-eat wagyu hot pot and Japanese barbecue, in addition to a la carte items and chef’s tasting menus for two that start at $188 and peak at $999." The Business Journal says Wagyu House plans to open in December." - Harry Cheadle
"Beef lovers should make a beeline for this import from Japan, which puts a Japanese spin on the more common Korean barbecue places in the area. Meats are high-quality, and the menu offers all kinds of cuts of cow. The best bargain is one of the happy hour specials, which offer a good sampling of the menu. Dessert fans will of course want to save room for the limited edition Lady M green tea mille crepe." - Jay Friedman
"The first Washington location of Japanese sensation Gyu-Kaku is now “softly open” in Bellevue, which just means it’s taking a limited number of reservations as the staff eases into full swing. The international chain specializes in yakiniku, Japan’s version of Korean barbecue. The menu showcases signature dry-aged, miso-brushed beef, and this outpost may add a few local specialties." - Megan Hill
