Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

The location vibe was cozy, intimate, wood and the grills were hot. Jake was our server and he was on point and funny. The kitchen was a little slow but it was Friday night so I understand. We had a reservation for 6, which was a good idea, but if you have fewer people I think you could walk in and get a table. This shop has three different all you can eat options and a regular menu as well. The food was good, but I think I am a Korean bbq fan more than Japanese. My first time having Japanese style bbq. Less sides and more meats, tofu and desserts than Korean bbq. Great time with a group of people non the less!

100% my fav restaurant to date!! Love love love this place!!! The whole family loved it- the staff were amazing and the food was unreal!!! Great experience and a first time for us, but we would love to return one day!! The dinner for 4 fed 7 of us! Great quantity of food!!!

Love this Place! Came here with a group of friends for Japanese BBQ and had an amazing experience. The food is delicious an so are the drinks. If you're used to the Korean BBQ style of cuisine, you'll feel right at home here, as they are very similar. Definitely a spot worth hitting if you're looking for a place to eat and drink with your friends.

Super tasty place to come for dinner with friends or dates. Portions are not always big for the cost, but you can walk away happy depending on what you like. Their sauces are tasty and product fresh. Service is very helpful and informative. No wifi. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. Parking can be challenging depending on the time of day you visit. Make reservations in advance if you want to avoid lines during dinner rush! Highly recommend their duck and seasoned meats on the grill. Big portions of hot sake for a good price!

I love Gyu-Kaku and the food is always amazing. However, my experience in this location was horrible. Yesterday (10/01/2021), we had reservation at 12:30pm, got a table right away since it was not busy yet. We ordered lunch specials (miso soup, salad, rice and 3 kind of meats). We got our soup at 1:10pm, after a while our salad and 6 kind of meats finally arrived. I had to turn on the stove myself since our server (David) was MIA. We didn’t get some rice so we had to ask the food runner to get it (she was very nice). Our drinks were empty and we had to ask the host to call our server. Unfortunately, there was a bug inside my drink and it was hard to find our server so we had to ask the host to get another one. Our server was finally back from MIA after we almost finished our food. We wanted to get dessert but since he was nowhere to be found we decided to ask for our check. Host and food runner gave us outstanding service but our server was terrible. We came out from the restaurant unhappy.
