"As the entire Metroplex knows, a new H-E-B opened in Frisco on Wednesday, with 1,500 people waiting in line, some as long as 12 hours, to get in for the grand opening. While I didn’t queue up, I did suggest to my boyfriend that we make a date of it this weekend, a 45-minute drive (when there isn’t heavy traffic) to check it out and get some freshly baked tortillas and True Texas BBQ." - Courtney E. The H-E-B in Frisco stands out for its outstanding customer service. Associates are consistently friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to assist shoppers. Whether helping you find items or offering suggestions, they make every visit pleasant. The store is clean, well-organized, and managed by a responsive team that truly cares. Shopping here feels more like visiting friendly neighbors than running errands—highly recommended!

H-E-B is H‑E‑B……….nothing comes close to it, with the numerous employees H‑E‑B hires is a big positive sign that they want excellent customer service, and wants to grow jobs for our community!! Beats Walmart, Tom Thumb and Kroger in a heartbeat!!!! Their baked goods are in surplus varieties to choose from, their Rotisserie Chicken is delicious, tried the BBQ flavor, full of flavor and was good quality chicken, fresh produce and floral are so good, fresh fruits, meats are very good quality, fresh more variety of seafood and fresh sushi is best priced in town, home goods, kitchen goods, garden shrubs, herbs, plants also sold!!! Enjoy H‑E‑B as a curious place to relax rather than a stressed shopping experience!! H-E-B employees be proud of yourself, you add value to your consumers everyday!!!!

First time going here, and I see why everyone loves it! It has everything and more. The store layout makes sense and the staff was incredibly helpful and willing to assist me in finding things. I went in the evening, an hour before close and it wasn't crowded at all. I will definitely be going here on a regular for my grocery needs! Also, I'm not sure why they have phhsical coupons that you have to grab, that should be digital only.

This review is for the crawfish boil not the supermarket. Well, not good. In fact big disappointment. The taste was not there for me. Also I was expecting to see them actually be cooking the fish. Instead, they scoop the greasy blend of crawfish, spices and butter? into plastic bags out of coolers. Yes, I do question if the greasy substance is butter. It had a very funny taste to me. I will say that I did not read the ingredients on the label that was stuck on the bag, but it did not taste like butter to me. The entire set-up did not look very sanitary in my opinion, but I’m not an expert. Also, it is not cheap. Overall, I would say, not for me.

Since the new H-E-B opened here in Frisco just over a year ago, it has quickly become a staple in our family’s weekly routine—and honestly, we couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the difference. This isn’t just a grocery store; it’s an experience. The layout is thoughtful, clean, and welcoming, with wide aisles and clearly marked sections that make shopping smooth—even with kids in tow. The selection is phenomenal, offering everything from high-quality fresh produce and Texas-sourced meats to unique local products we’ve never seen anywhere else. Their H-E-B brand items are not only affordable but often better than the name brands. Customer service is top-notch. Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been helpful, courteous, and genuinely happy to be there—which says a lot about the management and culture H-E-B fosters. Even during busy times, the store feels well-run and efficient, with plenty of open registers and a well-organized self-checkout area. The bakery is a family favorite (those tortillas right off the press are a game-changer!), and the fresh meal options make dinner on busy weeknights so much easier. We also love how community-oriented this location is—supporting local causes and creating a warm, hometown feel even in a rapidly growing city. In short, H-E-B Frisco has redefined what we expect from a grocery store. It’s clean, convenient, full of variety, and staffed with people who genuinely care. We’re proud to have this store in our neighborhood—and we can’t imagine shopping anywhere else. Five stars, without question.

Google
We really like H-E-B as a store and enjoy shopping here, but I decided to try their curbside pickup for the first time—and it was a huge disappointment. I was given a pickup window of 5:00–5:30 PM, arrived at 5:10, and sent them a message as instructed. There weren’t many other people waiting, yet it still took nearly 50 minutes for my order to be brought out. On top of that, several items were missing, they gave me blueberries twice, substituted a random cheese instead of the one I ordered, and the groceries were delivered without proper bags. It felt completely disorganized—definitely not the level of service I’d expect from H-E-B. This experience made it clear that Whole Foods does curbside pickup far better. The slightly higher prices there are absolutely worth it for a smooth and professional experience. Unfortunately, this will be my last time using H-E-B’s curbside service.

Bought brand new Monterey Jack cheese off the shelf only to discover it molding in the back when I got home. Very disappointed- new to Dallas from south Texas so I missed Heb, drove out to Frisco to visit. Would never have to inspect my dairy products from my home HEB, so now I know I’ll have to do that at this location.

Google
Love this local HEB store which keeps the wide range of products and specially locally produce. The store is clean and has ample parking outside. The employees are courteous and always maintain good hygiene. The bbq is awesome here and there are plenty options for Texas valued products. The price is always compatible against the other grocery chain stores. The produce is fresh and well packaged.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Always clean. Organized. I like the houseware section. Staff: Staff are amazing. Selection: really good, they have everything and more. Meat section really great. Tortillas are amazing, like amazing, amazing.

Yelp
Just moved over to the Frisco area, so I was super excited about the convenience of having an H.E.B. as my nearest grocery store. Since we were busy on moving day I decided on placing a curbside pickup order. The day got away from us and we ended up getting to the store right before they closed. I do appreciate them giving a courtesy call to remind us of our order since they were closing soon. Their curbside is pretty standard. You wait in your car while they load up your groceries. Staff was friendly, and even considerate of the fact that they smashed my bread and brought another loaf out for me. It wasn't until I got home and started unloading the grocery bags that I noticed that most of my order was not my order. I spent $200 on the order and $100 worth of stuff I did not receive. After a long day of moving, it was the last thing I wanted to be dealing with. I called the next day to speak with a manager because they were already closed the previous night. Manager was friendly and apologized for the inconvenience and offered to remake the order and allow me to come pick it up later that day, and also wanted to refund the items that I did not receive the first time also just because of the inconvenience. I haven't received any refund yet and wouldn't really care if it wasn't offered, but it was something that was told was going to be given to me, and has not so far. I work in customer service so I know that if I told a customer that they would be receiving money back for anything, and I did not follow through that they would feel the same way that I do. Again, staff was friendly all the way up to management, but overall my first shopping experience with H-E-B could have been a lot better

Yelp
It's just OK. So my shopping habits have changed over the years. I prefer not to shop at huge grocery stores. I was introduced to H-E-B when I lived in Temple, TX thirty years ago. Back then, it was just a normal sized grocery store. For my shopping habits, H-E-B is nothing special. I was looking for some pork jowls for our New Year's day dinner and they had some. Also picked up a couple heads of organic cabbage. Outside of the apples, the signage for their organic produce offerings is lacking. They need to do better on this. Also spent several minutes looking for the organic cabbage. All of the organic cabbage was in one huge box, but the conventionally grown cabbage was prominently displayed. H-E-B does carry the 1836 Farms Half and Half. This is the reason for 3 stars.

Kristina M.

Yelp
This store is always five stars for me. I'm pretty strict about my grocery store routines, and there are a few I shop at for price saving reasons. Grocery pick up is my favorite way to go. I've done pick up at target, Walmart, and Kroger, but this is my favorite place to do grocery pick up. The app is so easy to use and adding from the weekly ad and clipping coupons is a great feature. There is a fee if you need to order a pick up in the next couple hours, but you can choose the free option with some pre-planning. I love to shop inside as well, but I save that for the 7am time when it's less busy. If I had any suggestions for them, it would be to pretty please have the anti-pasta bar out by 7 in the morning for the early shoppers. They are always super friendly though, and I will always come back to this store. I love HEB!

Dan G.

Yelp
Curbside and delivery are the worst in town. We always receive expired, or within a couple days, items. The produce is usually always bruised or has soft spots. When you order meat, it gives an average on what you should receive, but it's never close. Today's order said we should receive around 2.15 lbs of hamburger meat when we placed the order.... we received 1.4 lbs. Maybe hire someone who is not 16 to do your orders. There is always something wrong on every order. If I didn't have to pay for this service, I wouldn't care, but since we do, I can say it's NEVER been 100% close to correct. There is no way to do a review on there website, and that is why this service has so many poor reviews on independent sites. I'm done paying for what I'm not receiving.

Yelp
I'm from Austin, so when we moved here 6 years ago, I was sad that there weren't any H-E-B's in the DFW area. So when I learned Plano and Frisco were opening, I was ecstatic! I was at both locations, first day grand openings, lol. That's how long I've been sitting on this review You just can't beat their combo locos, ready-made simple meals, fresh, hot homemade tortillas and French bread They've added a lot of their own brand of high end ice cream, pizzas, meals, cheeses, etc... We didn't have half of these options, when we left Austin 6 years ago. I've tried both their fancy ice cream (Swoon) and their fancy pizzas (Midtown), the goat cheese, four cheese and cherry tomato pizzas are my favorites. They're very tasty, restaurant style pizzas. SO good! I'm also happy about being able to eat Garcia's Barbacoa again! Barbacoa at a restaurant or taco cabana is either only available on Sunday's or it's not real barbacoa, it's generally brisket meat. Not to mention it's overpriced. But now that H-E-B opened, I can have genuine barbacoa whenever I want, and it's the real deal! The entire simple meal department with options for every type of diet and every country you can think of, is so helpful. You can choose from meals that are, Italian, Mexican, Lo-Carb, Mediterranean, Sushi, etc... Then you just take it home and either pop it in the oven or microwave, depending on which meal you chose. The produce department with so many fresh fruits and veggies, plus homemade dressings, salsas, chips and guacamole, cannot be beat! You can also find pretty much any fruit or vegetable, sliced and diced prepackaged for you too. The bakery and cheese departments are incredible as well. All throughout the store everything is fresh and kept well stocked at all times! If you haven't converted to H‑E‑B yet, you still can. Allen and McKinney are opening soon!

Yelp
I already love H-E-B and was in the Frisco area and decided to pick up a couple of things I needed and check out this location. I like that they have a uniform floor plan, it sure makes it easier to find things. One fun find I found this visit was a tub of cute decorated Easter Bunny cookies. Did I mention the price- $ .99!!They are light and delicious! Granted it was early Saturday evening the day before Easter and they were probably anxious to sell them quickly but what a great product at an excellent price!!

Mitchel R.

Yelp
Having visited the location around 20 times, I can vouch for its consistently impressive standards. The quality across departments like the bakery, produce, seafood, and butcher block is top-notch, rivaling most competitors. One thing that stands out is their approach to handling out-of-stock items. Offering alternatives showcases their commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring you can still find what you need. Even during peak hours when it gets crazy full, the efficiency and organization speak volumes about their competence. It's a testament to their popularity and ability to cater to a large customer base. Regarding the difference between HEB brand and Hill Country Fare brand products: I was told that HEB is a great product at a good price, while HCF is a good product at a great price. In my experience, HEB brand products have all been fantastic. HCF is hit or miss. The slight premium in cost is more than offset by the incredible experience and the assurance of consistently superior products. The parking lot can be super crowded and hectic sometimes, but if anything, the bustling activity during peak hours simply reinforces the fact that H-E-B is indeed doing something right.

Alyssa M.

Yelp
Clean grocery store but usually pretty crowded. I go for their produce selection but was turned off seeing moldy grapes and not a huge organic selection. BBQ restaurant in front is decent as well Area of improvement- have adequate staff on weekends. Lots of stockers but lines were crazy long to checkout and there weren't any baggers

Jennifer W.

Yelp
1/28/23 Review mainly about the chocolate birthday cake for our dear friend, Allen.... Presentation is key & it looked fabulous! The cake itself is dense yet light & airy--not sure how that works but it DOES. The sweetness level was perfect! I will have to return & see what the store has to offer:)) The cake was moist, delicious & everyone enjoyed it, including the celebrant. Definitely not bad at all for a store bought cake!

Alan C.

Yelp
Nice texas owned grocery store with a variety of food, drinks and other tems. Has a BBQ restaurant located inside and offers fresh sushi as well. They offer on site sales through coupons. Family oriented grocery store with some items below average prices but not most.

Desiree M.

Yelp
H-E-B takes the cake of grocery shopping experiences! They have a great selection of items , team members are always close by to assist if you can't find something. The sings are large and very easy to read. The only issue is that there are so many people shopping at one time you can barely move around the store without doing the stop and go traffic dance. Totally not as fun but the samples make up for it. They always have a very friendly chef cooking something and explaining it. I love this store and Wilson's recommend any other store!

Mary O.

Yelp
The store is always clean and well stocked ,I am so amazed at the eggs. There are so many. I am on a high protein diet and I purchase a rotisserie chicken every week. They are so good. My husband and I are 90 years old and the checkers are so nice helping us get to our car. We shop at Preston and Spring Creek and Main Street in Plano Tx. Keep us the good work.

Felix V.

Yelp
I love HEB!! We made the trip from Oklahoma City to Frisco, Texas to get our groceries.

Mary B.

Yelp
I went shopping for a family dinner. When I walked in, the first thing that caught my nose was the delicious smell of BBQ. There's a restaurant near the entrance of the market. I ordered the party pack. The party pack comes meats, choice of 4 sides, bread, sauce, pickles and onions. The sausage slices were good, but I dip them in sauce, definitely delicious. The brisket was impressive, tender and tasty. The turkey was okay. I also, ordered some St Louis Ribs. The ribs were seasoned and flavorful. The meat was tender, tasty and delicious. The four sides I selected were collard greens, potato salad, brisket beans, and mac and cheese. All were a great accompaniment to the delicious meats. Dinner is ready to be served.

Ta'Brechi H.

Yelp
Open from 6am - 11pm daily. This location has a BBQ place and it has a drive thru. Be prepared to wait or weave your way through the aisle because there is always a lot of people. HEB offer everything you need from pharmacy, bakery, deli, drug and general merch, beauty, everyday essentials, and so much more. There are a lot of made to order food options that you can pick up and a home section with seasonal items to add to your home.

Karima A.

Yelp
Biggest grocery store is here!! Went there just when it had opened and what a variety of food, decor, grocery items! The service was quick as they had almost 20+ counter open to check out people faster. Got a lot of things from here! Super happie to see this joint here in Dallas!

Fernando T.

Yelp
Another overhyped Texas thing. Can't even walk inside the place feels like rush hour traffic and people merging and cutting and running over everyone. This place is absolutely crowded given the size. This place feels like the size of two neighborhood Walmarts but with like 15 times more people inside, can't even browse products because you already have 5 people rushing you and waiting. From what I could observe when I was let browse for a little nothing seemed worth the hype or anything more interesting than your average Walmart. This is like Bucees on steroids and much more crowded, people acting like a grocery store is a tourist attraction!

Callie J.

Yelp
I am severely disappointed by my last trip here. Make sure you DOUBLE and TRIPLE check your produce. I bought asparagus and (if you know how to prep asparagus you just snap it and the top part is the good part) I snapped all of mine and all of them broke more than halfway. So less than half the bundle was edible. Then I also bought a bag of English cucumbers and got home and they were soft. I tried one and it did not taste good. I love H‑E‑B but this one has been a let down so far.

Jessica S.

Yelp
I love that H‑E‑B has curbside pickup or delivery options - makes it so convenient! I know everyone says this but the butter tortillas are a must-try here. I ate half the bag while shopping in store lol. Make sure you get the app so you can find all of the weekly deals, combo locos, and coupons! I can explain all the great things they have in store but I think you just have to go there and experience it all. I can't decide which store I like more now... H‑E‑B or Costco... ;)

Adam L.

Yelp
Well well well!! No more 3 hour round trips to feel the loving glow of the nearest HEB. Now, I can travel just 5 short miles to stand in line all day instead. I'm joking, but serious. HEB is a blessing! And Frisco obviously agrees, because everybody is lined up to get some. Those who know HEB as well as I do, can see they are completely showing out with this new store. The chain has always been great, but this North Texas takeover is monumental. I have been a loyal Central Market Shopper for years and I will be a regular here - once everyone in the checkout line, this week, realizes they don't actually cook meals at home. Thanks for coming, HEB! We have been waiting and watching those real estate purchases for so long! And to all the other grocery stores in the area... you can't win, but if you play your cards right - you can hang in there. Level up! To HEB: WE LOVE YOU.

Terri B.

Yelp
I am originally from Austin and was quite spoiled with the HEB's there. When I moved to Dallas I was so disappointed that HEB wasn't a staple here. I was beyond elated when I saw that they were bringing the chain to Dallas area!!! First let me begin with this is not your typical HEB! It's beautiful! Everything is well laid out and pretty easy to navigate. The produce section is large, they have stations throughout the store for anything that you would need, cheese corner, meat counter, extensive beer and wine area, bakery, you name it. There was a cooking demonstration area, large sushi area and lots of food kit selections. I was surprised to see such an extensive holistic area! They even had a kombucha section with quite an extensive amount of options. There was a home goods area where they had furniture and decor! This HEB has it all, even a barbecue restaurant with a drive-thru. When I visited, it was a rainy day and not as crowded. In speaking with the cashier and various employees around the restaurant they mentioned it was the slowest they've ever seen it, which is perfect for me! All the employees were incredibly helpful and looked up the information if they did not know. Walked right up and checked out immediately. The only minus that I found was that they don't carry Bear Creek chili mix. Not the end of the world, but I would definitely like to put that out their selections. Welcome to the area .HEB!

Ronnie B.

Yelp
Ventured out here after work with my cowrker to see what all the hype was about. Entering the store the aroma of fresh baked goods filled the air. Pumpkin spice and cinnamon...delish. The store is AMAZING!!! Fresh produce, wide aisles, plenty of items to purchase, samples for tasting with tons of friendly smiling faces. This store was givin' Sam's Club vibes with plenty of wholesale items available to purchase. I was disappointed that the ice cream section was so small. As I was looking for a specialty ice cream, but I will definitely say H.E.B. put a great deal of effort and thought into the layout of the store. Items purchased: Tortilla chips: Sea salt and Limon & Chile Seasoning salt Turkey sausage patties Roma tomatoes Cauliflower rice Spent less than twenty bucks, so I have no complaints. Definitely go check 'em out Yelpers. Ronnie's pick

Soysauce G.

Yelp
It's hard to shop for groceries when people bring in their dogs , that aren't even service animals ! and you're able to tell when they are. It's disgusting because they're petting their dog and then touching the food .

Debria J.

Yelp
Once again HEB did not disappoint! I tried delivery again and they again are the best! On time, great customer service with a smile, and friendly conversation! Kisha was the driver and if I could request her to always deliver my groceries I would! Thanks so much Kisha and HEB!

Jin C.

Yelp
FINALLY we have one in Dallas! We have been counting down the days, and it has arrived. Atmosphere - 5/5 - Huge and clean and new. HEB is MASSIVE. They have a large selection of....pretty much everything. They have weekly sales, and when something is on sale, it is usually a MAJOR discount. They have a BBQ restaurant in the store, but I will make another review for that. HEB also has curbside pickup (and it's free!!!), so make sure to download their apps! Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and attentive. Like Target. Food/Drink - 5/5 - As mentioned above, they have a huge selection of food and beverages. My favorite part of course is the meat and alcohol section haha. I have posted a ton of pics so feel free to check them out. As for alcohol, they have a large selection of beer. Make sure to check their weekly ads, and it runs from Wed - Tues weekly. If you have the app, on Tuesday, you can see both the current and upcoming flyers (Pro Tip) So far, I have been about once a week (the lines were crayz during the grand opening), but no lines during the week. Weekends might be different, so again, use curbside if possible. Their app is AWESOME.

Frisco R.

Yelp
I would recommend shopping in the store, but not recommend the pick-up service as I have had too many items left off of pickup orders that I was charged for, and did not receive. I did request a refund of the missing items every time, and did receive a refund, but it's not worth the hassle to keep using the pickup service if this is the new norm. This evening, 3/18/24, at the Main St. location in Frisco, TX, five items we're left off of my order, four were out of stock, one was substituted, and the order was shopped for late. I requested a refund and haven't received it yet. My order was to be picked up between 6:30-7pm, and was still being shopped for after 7pm while I was sitting in the pickup lot waiting. Overall, HEB is great store, but I'll be shopping for my groceries for now on.

Natasha H.

Yelp
Finally I ventured into visiting the new HEB in Frisco. I was waiting for the madness to slow down. I used to go to HEB all the time many years ago when I lived in Killeen, TX (Fort Hood while my husband was in the army). It wasn't a big deal back then or at least I didn't know about the crazy sensation. I really liked the layout of this HEB. I want to say it's a mix of Costco, target, whole foods and any other grocery store like Kroger. I did find the prices better than the other places I just mentioned. Especially the meats- great deals! I also enjoyed the amount of different produce items they have. You can find almost anything there. Lots of tropical (islands) fruits and roots vegetables that we eat at Puerto Rico. Another convenience is that they have lots of household items there- kind of like walmart- so it can be a one time shop. The place was still pretty full when I went yet it didn't feel as crowded as Costco which no matter the time or day that place is always insane here in Frisco. I liked that I didn't feel as suffocated as I do at Costco. The bakery looked nice. I can't wait to try their sweets and cakes. I got a big french loaf and we loved it. They have a big cheese variety which I love. Lots of organic options as well. Overall I will continue to shop here and I am looking forward to the one they're building near my home!

MJ C.

Yelp
If I need a reason move to Texas, that reason must be HEB. Huge stores, super clean, good variety, reasonable price. I'm surprised about the sushi quality, it is not like what we have in Safeway, Costco...the quality is pretty much same as Mitsuwa. Lots of private brand ice cream. Looks yum and price is lot cheaper than CA

Suzanne U.

Yelp
I was so excited to see HEB Fisco was cook crawfish. I drove there from McKinney today..prepared to bring home 25 lbs..even as expensive as they are this year..didn't want to cook myself and clean up. I was thoroughly disappointed. First of all, as I waited in line I asked if I could taste one (before I shelled out $200.00) but the young man said no. So I waited my turn, to buy 1 crawfish to taste. In the mean time, the young man took out a finished batch and then put a new bag in the pot. He added NOTHING other than crawfish to the pot...no salt, no new seasoning, just crawfish. He came down with a sneezing attack and the young lady took over. When it was my turn, I ordered 1 crawfish..confused..she asked 1pound, and I told her I had asked the young man it I could taste one and his response. She allowed me to taste one. No salt, no seasoning on the "inside" of the crawfish..just the outside. I declined to place an order. She said they season the first pot, but no salt afterwards. This is not the way to cook crawfish. What a waste...and I went home disappointed. Call me if you need help seasoning and cooking mud bugs!!

Yelp
I was very excited for H‑E‑B to open, as I shopped there for years before moving to the area. I do enjoy the variety of unique items, and the staff is very friendly. The last couple of times I have shopped at the Frisco location, I have noticed out of date items in the dairy and some not so fresh produce. The bags of lettuce are brown along with some of the other produce items. I also noticed they were out of several items. I do hope it changes, as I have always loved Shopping at H‑E‑B.

Kamil B.

Yelp
This is the best store in DFW. On par with the Central Markets which are also owned by H-E-B. So many great products that you don't want to stop buying. The BBQ place attached is fantastic. It won't win any "best in Texas" awards but it's top notch. Classic Texas BBQ. What makes this place really stand out are the employees. Always a great friendly experience at HEB. The only negative is that there are so many people everywhere. Too many. But that's because of the stores positive reputation. Hopefully the build more and more in the DFW area which will slightly help with the crowds.

Venna Q. T.

Yelp
I'm that person. I'm a California native, born and raised. And I've been to H-E-B a total of.. what? Four times? Yet I act like I know my way around (because the two locations that I've been to have identical layouts- score!), I have my favorite products (the fresh squeezed orange juice worth its weigh in gold), and I'm going to be wearing my bright red sweatshirt with the state of Texas, H-E-B illustration on it. What can I say that hasn't already been said? There's really no equal for it when you think of all of the chain grocery stores. It's not as artisanal boho-chic-y as Trader Joe's, but it does have all of the selection of Kroger... yet it feels more special. I'm not sure how I would describe it to someone who hasn't visited a location before. So with that said. If you find yourself near one, do yourself a favor and stop by. Give yourself plenty of time if you go because the afternoons on weekends means you'll be there during the madhouse hours. Fighting seas of carts of other customers and really being aggravated by the inconsiderate shoppers who stop to block the aisles. Despite the annoyances of overcrowding, it's completely worth a visit. Or two. Or more. I'll have to go at the crack of dawn when the store first opens or maybe I'll indulge my inner night owl and go before they close. I could find a million reasons for needing to go back. Don't disregard the home goods or merch aisles! The reusable bags make great gift bags too. The excellent customer service is always a plus.

Yelp
The wait is over, DFW! H-E-B locations are popping up all over the area. I first visited this wonderful grocery store in Houston a few years ago and fell in love with the abundance of fresh goodies and variety. The new location in Frisco is nothing short of amazing! The prices are fairly low as well for organic produce and specialty items. There are a tons of quick pick up and go things and love their sushi bar. Try the fried rice, it is absolutely amazing with freshly chopped chicken. They have heartier options like a BBQ spot that also has a ton of sit down space. The line was really long so it must be good. Great variety of cheeses and vino as well. I believe they will also custom make charcuterie boards to your liking. So if you are looking to buy foods for entertaining guests this is the place to go. Enjoy your grocery trip!

Yelp
I really enjoyed H‑E‑B. I went on a Sunday morning. It was very busy so I wasn't able to look good but I will be back. If you are looking for a time when it isn't busy a cashier suggested that I come during the week on Wednesday or Thursday. The prices were comparable with Kroger. H‑E‑B has a better selection than Kroger and that that's why I think it was so packed. I will start shopping at HEB more since it's a great selection and good prices!!

Yelp
This Foodie finally made it to H-E-B!!!!!! Yay! oxo On my 1st visit ever I picked up numerous packages of nuts, some strip steaks, bone-in chicken thighs, 3 packages of ground Wagyu & a HUGH box of fresh blueberries for only a $1.47. The only thing that we didn't like about our visit was ALL our fault, lol. We came on a Saturday & it was Super busy. And the drive to Frisco from Richardson was kinda long. Can't wait for you guys to open the one in Plano. Any news on when that store is going to be built??

Yelp
Frisco has one more good thing to be proud of now and that's their brand new H‑E‑B. We went opening weekend and it was packed. I wanted to compare it to the one near me and although it's really nice I still like the one in Burleson. I like the dry age meat section that's the only thing they have that my H‑E‑B doesn't but I go to central and they have they dry age there so I'm not missing anything. They also have a bbq restaurant which is cool but the central near my house serves the same bbq they just don't have a store it's served at the hot bar.

Yelp
I went on a Wednesday at a bit after noon. Not a huge crowed but still very busy. Lots of shelves had limited items and many were picked clean. I was a bit shocked. I have found better stocking at Kroger. I was excited to get some of the pot stickers I love so much that I get at Central Market, sadly I only found pork so that was a big let down...Especially since they had coupons for it. Moving on, organic section was really sad. Not much to get there. I loved that they had a lot of locally grown items but again, organic? Nope. I counted maybe 20 types in all and most were limited. Zero fruit aside grapes. Bathrooms were nice and new but could use more cleaning. It's a busy store and a lot of employees seemed like they could have been doing more. Not one person asked me if I needed any help finding things. Not many smiles in the store which was odd to me. Perhaps everyone is overworked already? Not sure. Overall I was underwhelmed. I was expecting a lot more considering they own Central Market, which I am a huge fan of. This store just isn't close to that and the employees here need a bit of an adjustment in temperament. I would probably shop here for some of their speciality items only made in-house but I'd have to really be craving those things to seek them out here. As I did that and was let down by lack of inventory.

Yelp
Ok, guys - this was my very first time at an H‑E‑B, and I had to see what they hype is all about. I waited a few days for the crowds to die down, but they're still insanely busy, with lines into the parking lot just to get in. However, I drove by this morning around 8am, and it was really easy to get in and out "quickly." The store was still busy, but the checkout lines moved fast enough. I am so happy that this place has lived up to the hype for me. I know that opinions about this place are subjective, but for me, it really hits the nail on the head. I love the variety of items, both local and sourced. The products they carry are quality, and I spent quite some time roaming around the different sections. What really stands out to me is that they've taken the time to understand Frisco's demographics, and carry a wide range of products that would appeal to residents in this area. For me, it was refreshing to see many Indian food and product offerings, including freshly made roti (Indian flatbread) made with Indian whole wheat flour. And, that cheese section? It's a blessing and a curse...IYKYK

Yelp
1st of several new H-E-B stores to open in north Texas especially Collin county. We waited until all the HEB fan boys/girls had got a chance to visit first. It really is very impressive and will give the other grocery store chains in the area lots of competition. The store will also help other small business in and around the area. We went to nearby hamburger restaurant and stopped at HEB afterwards. I was impressed with the number of workers out and about taking care of things. We were asked several times if we needed any help. Well Done!

Yelp
I LOVE H-E-B! From the bbq restaurant, the single frozen meals, the fresh CHEESEEEE, the H-E-B brand items for less to the quick check out lines and customer service. They were sold out of a lot of things, but the traffic has been heavy for them. The store is huge and, I just have a good time when I go there lol I can't wait until the Plano location opens!

Yelp
This review is for HEB BBQ restaurant. The location was packed but the line moved quickly. The meal for two cost $22 and included two drinks, two sides, and two sandwiches. We had the turkey and pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw and potato salad. There are endless drink selections including beer, soft drinks, lemonade, and sweet and unsweet teas. The BBQ was delicious, service was top notch, and the price was affordable. I recommend this location if your in the area

Yelp
This store is huge! But it's very noisy and busy with lots of people at this time! There were steaks for $5 per pound! Imagine that! I just tried their fresh tortillas today and it had a buttery flavor! Freshly made daily! You could spend hours here and still need more time just to go through every aisle! The staff are very friendly and helpful! Will need to go back and check it out again!

Yelp
Now I see why there is so much hype about this grocery store. I'm so glad one finally opened near me. I went around 7:30 am during the week and it wasn't as busy. They have a lot of precooked meals that I see myself getting a few times a month. They have so much stuff here and at a great price. I'm definitely coming back soon

Yelp
Made a trip to Frisco to check out HEB. quite amazing offerings and prices. Huge section of prepared meals and even had a low carb section. It will take some time to fully grasp everything HEB has to offer. We had to wait in line for 15 minutes on an early Sunday morning. Doesn't anyone go to church anymore? I went on Saturday just for the record - about trusting God and do your best. He will do thru you what you cannot, for His glory. God bless.

Yelp
Was there today for opening, yes it was craziness (I was expecting this) this store is HUGE! Lots to see and buy, lots of international products, actual cashiers with their own bagger"What a concept" lol lines were long, but super quick, people working there were Super Nice. Great experience. F.Y.I. There do not seem to have wireless registers, I asked and was told no, so had to actually use my card ,instead of phone. Also make sure to download the HEB app from. The playstore, or cr apple store, helps with the coupons.

Yelp
Pretty good store. When some items go out of stock, it could take a couple months to get back in stock. Except for one girl, the ones that bag the groceries are TERRIBLE!!! The absolute WORST!! It's like no one ever bothered to show them how to do their jobs and it's clear they don't care. They just cram whatever into random bags. Frozen stuff mixed in with boxes, bowls of chopped fruit on its side, leaking all over a box. Ugh, EVERY TIME. So by the time you get home, the boxes are soaking wet....Seriously, groceries are bagged like a sloppy mess. Just try not to buy more than 25 items so you can bag it yourself.

Yelp
We don't get the hype... it's like the Walmart of grocery stores. On the plus side, they do have a ton of SKU's in this store, meaning a large selection. On the downside, the quality is on the level with, yes, Walmart. We'll be sticking with Whole Foods, Market Street and Central Market! Heck, Kroger is even better! Sorry, I'm a hater!

Yelp
I used to only go to H‑E‑B when I was visiting my hometown in south Texas and I am so glad we have them here close to the area! I love there products meats are always priced good and so are there sodas there wild red is my absolute fav! I was a little thrown off as to why there homemade tortillas are limit 1 for a twenty count. So was bummed out only walked out with one pack. But altogether I just love H‑E‑B and will be back to do my monthly shopping and fingers crossed we get one in Dallas soon
