I used to be a Kroger Customer 100% and I really didn’t believe everything I heard about H-E-B but I have to take everything like it is.H-E-B has been very helpful every time I go in the store. I recently went in which I’m out in the parking lot right now leaving this review and Victoria, who is a manager helped me 100% and answered every question I had and just treated me like I was family. I really appreciate her help. Also I have to have a ride cart when I go in because I have Neuropathy and there’s always one available and charged also which is a big thing if they keep it charged all the time. some people believe they review and they just say a few words and think the service is average may be better than good but the service at H-E-B is always great and the store at Gosselin and 2920 is great also. I will continue to shop at H-E-B and thank you Victoria for helping me!!

Where the slogan Here Everything's Better has such meaning to it. In Texas we don't just like bigger, we love better, & we love variety. This place has allowed us to try and discover so many new recipes to delight the family. Each location is unique to its own and I have to say Spring area & Vintage, even Champions Forrest has just beautiful well lit displays. Staff is always friendly and caters to all walks of Life. That's why I say it's My H-E-B.

Google
This store is clean, easy to navigate, and the staff are generally very sweet. The store isn't too big. Items are usually always well stocked. The customer service department is helpful & they usually are enjoyable to talk to. Definitely one of my favorite stores, and that says a lot bc I prefer going here than the fancy location down the road

Everything is always in stock, unlike the other location further down louetta. All the employees are really nice. I got a custom cake done today and it came out great. The guy working the bakery is amazing. I forgot to get his name but if you recognize this cake, thanks! My daughter loved it so much!

Google
This store is a great place to shop! They offer a wide variety of products for specific dietary needs, and checkout is always as quick and painless as possible to keep customers moving efficiently. Curbside ordering is super easy and convenient. The only thing they could improve is the curbside pickup area—it's often filled with parked cars, making it difficult to get in and pick up orders.

Disappointed in Bakery Customer Service On October 9th around 4 PM, I went in to order a cake for my daughter’s 7th birthday at the Louetta & Stuebner Airline H-E-B. Unfortunately, the service in the bakery department was extremely poor. The employee behind the counter never greeted or acknowledged us. When I asked about options, she was curt, dismissive, and even refused to let me see the sheet she was reading from. Her tone and attitude were unprofessional, especially disappointing with my excited 7-year-old standing beside me. I walked out without ordering. Two managers apologized and offered me a free cake, but I declined. If that’s the attitude and energy in the bakery, I don’t want it tied to such a special occasion. I drove to the Gosling H-E-B instead, where the staff was friendly, helpful, and I easily placed my order. The contrast was night and day. I’ve already submitted a complaint through the H-E-B app, but I’m leaving this here so others are aware. I expect better from H-E-B, customer service should always be kind and professional. It’s unfortunate because this H-E-B is only a few minutes from my home, but now I’ll have to travel further to pick up the cake. While not the most convenient, it’s worth it to interact with kind and courteous people, which I believe also translates into a better product.

I have an EMERGENCY GENDER reveal tomorrow morning... So I came to my local H-E-B for things like cupcakes and something to I guess… reveal a gender. I decided on a balloon reveal and the florist had left for the day. But lucky for me; Daniel (the manager) and Matthew (honorable mention) helped me find what I needed. I got two it’s a boy, and it’s a girl balloon. The plan was to have a third balloon with confetti. Daniel literally helped me cut confetti and stuff the balloon. Reality would have been him telling me “sorry ma’am we don’t offer that service/or our florist is gone”. Fortunately for me Daniel was willing to help me in a bind. The best part is the first balloon we tried failed- and popped and confetti went everywhere. He just laughed, helped me try again, and the second one worked perfectly. Daniel saved this gender reveal, and my sanity. He turned what could have been a stressful moment into a great experience. I deeply appreciate his kindness and initiative — employees like him make H-E-B exceptional.

Google
I was in the area and decided to make a stop to shop there .I didn’t get her name but shame on the lady that claims she’s the “manager” her tag said she’s been with the company for 23 years with a POOR customer service. Did not want to assist me because it was a curbside order from a different location and got sent off to the workers that were working for curbside. The ladies were kindly to assist me and said I could make a trade off for the damage product I received. The kind lady took the damage product. They were not in stock so I went ahead and went with another product and was willing to pay the difference. Got to the register and she would not assist me because I did not have an ID OR A PHYSICAL RECEIPT. The copy of the receipt was on my phone with my order and the barcode of the receipt to scan from curbside! LITERALLY SAID RECEIPT! I guess another manager or whatever he is Sean decided to be nosey after discussing it was the poor customer service lady manager and ask me what was going on like he was going to step in and assist me and had to explain my situation again just to say he could not assist me. They bought me back the damaged product and got the audacity to say yeah it’s pretty damaged but he was not able to help me without the physical receipt or ID I was able to go to the original location and explain my situation and they were able to scan the CURBSIDE RECEIPT THAT STUEBNER LOCATION CLAIM THEY COULDN’t USE and got store credit. Out of curiosity I ask what was their step of this situation and they informed me STUEBNER location should have assisted me because I in fact did have the receipt! SHAME ON YOU STUEBNER LOCATION FOR THE LACK OF TRAINING. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN. Tortillas are moldy and thick there. Nothing is ever in stock. The store looks a hot mess. I’ve always talked highly about all of the HEB. I have never had a bad experience ever with HEB til now!

Yelp
I literally just stopped in the middle of an aisle to leave this bad review because I do not understand why they felt the need to rearrange the entire store. I cannot find anything anywhere anymore without using the app to locate something. I was already not coming as frequently as before and instead of going to Aldi because it's cheaper but now I'm not going to come to H-E-B at all anymore because now what used to take me 5 minutes to shop for, takes me 20 minutes now. Rearranging the store won't increase sales. Improving your customer shopping experience will do that. On top of that things keep getting shifted every single night. One day it's on aisle 7 the next on aisle 8 the next it's on aisle 9. Figure out the layout first and then change it. If your customers are not happy, I doubt your employees are too.

Yelp
This is our store! I want to help improve their score. With people like David and Ian honestly they make our day! Ian in Healthy Living went out of his way to make sure we got the Snow White Pumpkin seeds my mom can't live without. (Saving me a trip to the Shepherd store! What a champ!) David in the Beer, Liquor, and sample section got us hooked on a few bottles and products which are now must haves. He always says hello when he sees us. These are my two favorite people in this store that make our visits brighter!

Yelp
They have the only dog food my pups will eat w/o causing any adverse reactions. Most other brands they've tried cause huge skin tags or tumors, but not this one!

Yelp
First time that I've ever been inside a supermarket while in Texas . This was a nice one with lots of fresh produce and meats and some store employees giving out samples of food items and even wine to sample which I passed on lol ... Friendly employees and clean bathrooms were a pleasant surprise

Yelp
I've dogged on this H-E-B for a long time. Loved it when it first opened and shopped here for years, until I got frustrated with customer service, selection, the parking lot and traffic in the surrounding area. Plus, when the new H-E-B opened at Gosling/2920, I was so impressed with that store, that I did my regular shopping there. How the tables have turned. I've started returning to this location because the Gosling/2920 H-E-B is constantly out of half of the items on my grocery list and customer service is non-existent. I was so surprised to find here: 1. Prices on some items are actually lower than other H-E-B locations; 2. Customer service now is incredible. Easy to find employees who know what they're talking about and easy to find an actual manager; 3. Stock is replenished regularly, rarely with an empty shelf displayed. If you're looking for an item that's not carried, they will order it for you (already did this on several items - super pleased!). Traffic and parking is still a nightmare, but my shopping experience while in the store is excellent. This is now *my* H-E-B. Way to turn this location around!

Starla W.

Yelp
I usually frequent curbside pick-up here so I rarely go inside. My experience with curbside is always pleasant. I am never waiting more than 5-7 min before they are bringing my order out. The employees are great and my order is usually right. I've only had one item missing out of all the orders I placed and H-E-B customer service was great in refunding my money since I did not want to return to pick up the item. I'll always come back to this location!

Yelp
As a new resident here to Houston, I'm on a mission to find my go to's. My daughter says HEB is it. Ok we shall see... yup it is and I'll tell you why, I'm an avid Steel Reserve 211 beer drinker very hard to find here, I met 'Raul' who gave me his business card so I could check stock before I drive all the way there. That's what I call customer service!! Thanks Raul!! See ya Saturday

Yelp
There is a gem in this store , her name is Terri. Boy her bubbly and helpful demeanor just made my Morning. I appreciated her being super kind and super human .. thank you Terri

Yelp
This is my store. Always clean, well stocked, and friendly staff. Also, their curbside pickup is awesome and fast.

Yelp
The customer service at the 7310 Louetta Road location is EXCELLENT! The managers and employees in the deli, bakery and curbside departments go above and beyond!!! This is my FAVORITE H-E-B!!!

Yelp
I came here for a few unusual items hoping they'd give me a HEBing hand. They didn't. Not my favorite HEB by any stretch of the imagination and the parking lot can be a total nightmare. They sometimes don't have the stuff that the inner city HEBs have, I'm not sure what the excuse is, but let's just say it's not my favourite and I probably won't come back here to shop even when I'm up in Cypress if I can help it.
google avatar

Yelp
The store was clean, stocked up. I found the items I was looking for. The cashier was nice and quick. Thats why I continue coming here.

Yelp
Usually I would give this HEB a 5 star rating but the service I had today was so bad I question going back. Samantha was so unpleasant and unprofessional. She did not acknowledge me until she told me the total of my grocery order. She didn't look at me once nor smile absolutely nothing. I am there every week and spend about $300 and after this pathetic service I am seriously thinking about going somewhere else.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a HEB gas station. Who is the cheapest gas in town, today May 29 it is $4.01 a gallon

Javon S.

Yelp
I ordered delivery on 11/5 and requested the plant based Philadelphia cream cheese. When I received the item it had been expired for over a week (10/28/23). I contacted customer service and she said it would be delivered the next morning (11/6) and she stated she left a note for the store to check the expiration date. Today, I again received that item and it too expired on 10/28/23! When I contacted customer service again, the response I got was " all of the items must have the same expiration date." This is completely unacceptable!! What if I hadn't even looked to make sure the expiration is good? How do you allow an expired item to sit on the shelf for that long? I am utterly disgusted and will not be shopping at this location again!
google avatar

Koren R.

Yelp
Jacob deserves a raise. Without even asking he took my basket and loaded everything up for me. I mean I can do it myself every single time, but it was nice to have somebody do that for once, because today has been a long day, and he made my whole day just from that small act of kindness.

Yelp
I love this store for grocery shopping they have the sweetest people at their registers. I always have my baby in the cart and they always Tetris those groceries till they fit perfectly! I was ecstatic when we moved from Austin and saw this H‑E‑B because they're always superior in my opinion to the other grocery stores. The pharmacy people on the other hand is a whole other world. The lady I always speak with is extremely rude! I'm super surprised at that because I've always heard it's a super sought after pharmacy to work at, so you'd assume they would have their pick of friendlier staff?

Cindy L.

Yelp
Wonderful service from Vanessa in the bakery on Dec 22 and her manager, young white man, didn't get his name. I ordered a cake that went against their policy and required release from the artist. Vanessa kindly explained the policy and when her manager got involved, he was quick to provide a solution and was able to honor the design I wanted after a few more steps and authorization to release the design I wanted! Thank you!

Yelp
They always have what you need and customer service is great. It's always clean inside and have unique food selection.

Yelp
Pick up orders are missing items 90% of the time. The most recent order we had several bags of items that we did not order meaning that we got someone else's order. We end up having to call to get it sorted it out making it much more inconvenient and time consuming than just going in and shopping ourselves.

Deyla M.

Yelp
Just getting back from the HEB on Louetta and I just want to give recognition to an employee JACOB that was out in the heat collecting carts. When my husband and I got to our Jeep two our two toddlers and infant he insisted he loaded our groceries for us so we could get the kids into the car. He did not have to do this and could've just gone on with collecting carts but he went out of his way to be kind and give us amazing customer service. I WISH I carried cash to tip him!! It was so unexpected and helped us so much!! https://nextdoor.com/p/4sqw56H7KBjM?utm_source=share&extras=NDM4NzMxMjk%3D

Yelp
I just got a pack of the chocolate covered strawberries and they are not good at all. There's no date on them but the strawberries are not any good. I would not recommend getting the chocolate covered strawberries from this HEB.

Yelp
Most...maybe ALL H-E-B brand products are inferior to "Name Brand" products. Profit before customers..... Wait... aren't WE the ones that keep you in business? Yup, I thought so!
google avatar

A K.

Yelp
It's apparent that in the very near future their shelves will have no brand name products, only their own. I've tried some HEB branded products and they always are inferior to the brand name. I want to have a choice in what I buy, and HEB has taken that away.
google avatar

Starrkiya ..

Yelp
I just love this place. I shop here twice a month and sometimes I'll just pop up when I need something. The workers are so friendly and nice and you can always find what you need.
google avatar

Mark F.

Yelp
Customer Service very poor this morning. I interacted with six different people this morning, only two of whom were even vaguely pleasant. I have never understood why businesses put the people with the least appropriate personalities in customer service roles in. H-E-B at the store I've done exactly that. The woman at the customer service desk, Margarita, was as unpleasant as it was possible to be.
google avatar

Gina B.

Yelp
The deli wait is always too long. You will see only one person working and another one slicing cheese for the cheese shop who won't stop to help customers in line (4 in line today). Not to mention they are talking to each other. In addition there is another person in the back. Poor customer service.
google avatar

Yisel K.

Yelp
Have waited almost 30 for someone to show up at the bakery... Last time I get a cake here when I'm in a rush.
google avatar

Yelp
To some it might seem odd to give a grocery store 5 stars....after all, it's just a grocery store. I have been in this HEB a few times in the past but only to grab gum or cash, but never to actually shop. Last Saturday I decided while out that way to see how this HEB compares to my Spring HEB. I absolutely LOVED it!!! I was like a kid in a candy store!!! Everywhere I turned there was a different set up with all these free samples!!! From baked goods, to lasagna, to coffee & so much more!!! Due to the fact that the Spring HEB has never been updated, nor probably ever will, I found myself stuck staring at all the great items. I swear I was looking through the ice cream section for a good 15 minutes!!! It was amazing!!! Everything was fully stocked & beautifully organized!!! So after I finished gawking at the ice cream section I went down about 2 isles & saw all of these super cool kitchen appliances....mixers, blenders, pots & pans, etc. All of the sudden I felt like I was in Target!!! It was LOVELY!!!! They had an awesome bakery & deli & everything was so darn colorful!!!! I got to check out & there was no wait!!! Dang!!! I hate driving all the way down Louetta due to the construction that seems as if it's been going on forever, BUT I will definitely grin & bare it to get back to this beautiful HEB next time I need groceries!!! I can't remember when the last time was that I had that much fun in any store, let alone an HEB!!!!!

Yelp
We went on a Thursday afternoon around two. It wasn't very crowded for which I was thankful as I suffer from PTSD. Having recently moved to Houston we aren't familiar with the store layout and we had a lot of shopping to do. Great variety to choose from. Well stocked. Nice displays. Helpful staff willing to feed you samples at every turn to sell you HEB brand products that are currently on sale. We were shopping for a brisket and even got friendly advice from another customer. Business started to pick up the closer it got to 4:00 pm and my PTSD got the best of me. Two hours in a grocery store is more than I can handle. As I write this, my wife is still inside HEB finishing up our grocery shopping. We will be back here. We are both very happy with this store.

Mark T.

Yelp
Shopped at HEB at 10pm when less crowded since we're at high health risk for Covid, and tried to ring our own groceries in self checkout to avoid more people touching our groceries; the 8 self-checkout registers were EMPTY. An HEB employee immediately gets in our face and tells us that we can't use self checkout (there were two of us and about 20 items, so we figured we could ring them up as separate 10-item transactions if necessary). But the employee got right up in my wife's face, pushed our cart back, and calls the manager on us for wanting to ring our own groceries in the otherwise EMPTY self-checkout area. We're old & immunocompromised & don't need this sh*t so we walked out and went to a competitor. Thanks HEB for wasting our time and being real thoughtful regarding our health issues.

MiLinh K.

Yelp
Overall the store is clean but the associates here aren't the nicest, especially in bakery. Almost everyone in bakery seems annoyed and unwilling to help. I only go to this location because it's the closest but I avoid it when I can.
google avatar

Alycia Z.

Yelp
I'm giving it a 2 star because the employees are pretty nice and helpful but I recently bought Mama Mary's Gluten Free Pizza Crust from here (about a week ago) and the expiration date is March 18th, 2014. Do y'all not check your expiration dates on your food items when you're stocking? Or you haven't been selling these since before March? I called to let them know and all they said was 'thanks for letting us know.' AWESOME. You're welcome but do I get my $ back? Nope!
google avatar

Jose Luis M.

Yelp
Trying to meal prep, bought some chicken meals and when I went to cook them, the chicken smelled horrible. Called spoke to the manager, and followed her instructions and returned the bad chicken without any issues nor hesitations. Thank you HEB

Lavender L.

Yelp
It's cool and all but their selection is so boring. I come here bc I can find things similar to what's at Walmart bc I hate Walmart so much I come here instead to get meat and produce but if you want something that's not in the perimeter of the store, oooweee,,, better go to Walmart or somewhere else.
google avatar

Autumn L.

Yelp
The bagger, Jasmine was so friendly and helpful. She helped me to my car with groceries without me asking even though it was rainy and cold outside and was so kind about it.
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
We're grateful to have this store so close by. It's well-stocked w our favorite grocery items. Lots of variety in more healthy items as well as the Texas-staples we know and love. In all the years we've lived nearby, their employees have always been helpful and friendly. On one shopping trip, I first picked up an expensive prescription which had to be paid for and so was in a small, separate bag while I did more shopping. Somehow, it got left behind when the other groceries were bagged and brought out into my car. In a panic after I got home and realized it was missing, I returned to the store to look for it. One of the employees searched the trash and brought it back, still secure in the pharmacy bag. That's going above-and-beyond!!
google avatar

Collette R.

Yelp
Really fantastic pharmacy staff. We are a special needs adoptive family so I spend a lot of time and money here...lol... They are really nice and really care a lot. We had an issue on the 4th of July with needing meds and they got it filled right away. A+ Pharmacy. Thank you so much for being amazing! **IF YOU ARE A SPECIAL NEEDS PARENT THEY ACCEPT A LOT OF INSURANCES***

Yelp
i got this candle from HEB because it smelt like my grandpa and its been a year now that hes passed away. now that i lit the candle it just smells burnt and i feel like hes been taken away from me again and im just so sad because now all that it reminded me of was his ashes.

Yelp
TREATED TERRIBLE. CONSCIOUS SHOPPER NO GO. ALWAYS TREATED POORLY IN ORGANIC SECTION. If you are into using reusable bags or interested in shopping in their organic bulk section I would advise against it. It's worth the extra couple of cents extra you will pay extra at whole foods. You'll have an amazing experience at Whole Foods or Go to HEB and be treated like your stealing banana chips at every visit. I've been harassed and spoken to in a rude manor, more in the organic section at HEB ( this location) than anywhere else I've ever shopped. I was on all separate occasions: 1. Told I couldn't place my shopping basket on top of a wooden display barrel while placing foods in my bulk bag. Not a big deal but it's the fact she treated me really poorly. 2. Shouted at. And I do mean shouted at, to use the tongs, instead of my hands. Which I was already doing. 3. Rudely told to not use the dirty scoops ( the only scoops on the shelf) . When I tried to poor it in, was told RUDLEY not to do that because they would have to clean it up. Not only is it your job to make sure I don't have to resort to pouring it in the bag, it's your job to clean that mess up. A task a five year old could do effortlessly. 4. Today when I brought in my eco friendly -reusable cotton bags ( created for shopping in bulk about the size of a notebook, maybe a bit smaller) I was stopped. In the middle of scooping dried banana chips into my cotton bag and told " Excuse me, NO, you are supposed to use this bags right here ( store bags) No you can't use those. If you use those you won't be able to stick the label on to pay for them" After I explained to him that they were just reusable cotton bags, that I had checked out with them before at the register and it was fine. I was holding another bulk bag with the label already printed and pasted to the front, Did he stop arguing with me. Then politely told me I would be paying more due to the weight of my reusable bag. Wow so nice of him! Oh yeah and at the register one time I was told I could enter the recycling contest because my reusable bag was a purse. Lol This was all from the same couple of employees that work in that section. I could get their names but my real point is as much as we all go to the grocery store, we should shop at a place we can have a good experience at. Whole Foods, Trader Joe, Aldies! They are all have good deals, close by and I am always treated nicely. NOT this HEB.

Yelp
I've shopped at this location for years! The freshness of their produce is awesome. I love the stores layout and my favorite area is the Sushiya Sushi and the samples!! I love their sushi...by far best around. The Health and Beauty Dept is Great they have just about anything you need. The cashiers are always super friendly as well. They always have a Smile on their face ! Although this Heb is not as convient and close to me as my Neighborhood Krogers..I dont mind making the trip a lil further up road to HEB! Always well Worth it!!
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Best location in Houston in regards to stock and freshness. The deli counter people weren't the friendliest and the cart guy was too busy texting to be helpful. Overall the variety of products will have me retuning. Maybe I'll try coming at a different time of day.

BA W.

Yelp
This store has gone downhill. There is a very bad nauseating smell when one enters into this poorly run HEB. The terrible smell is just an indication of bad care and upkeep. I don't shop here unless I get desperate.

Yelp
I don't normally take the time out of my day to write reviews about restaurants let alone grocery stores but tonight's service was so incredibly unhelpful that I thought I must write a review. It's almost 10pm so not a lot of shoppers but there are four cashiers open plus the self service stations. One is a normal cashier the remainder are express lanes. At this time of night these are probably good ratios since it's probably only the I need a gallon of milk or baby food run ins. The only lane with clients is the normal lane and the rest of the place is a ghost town. The express cashier looks at my cart which is definitely over the express limit but the store is empty. There are at least two managers making change and two cashiers discussing whatever the days topic is and the cashier says I can't help you. There may be other clients. I'm ok with this until I've been sitting in line waiting for more than ten minutes while they sit there looking at me. It got so uncomfortable for them that they wanted to load the stuff from my cart on to the conveyor belt of the only working cashier. When they start scanning my stuff another customer finally pulls up behind me with more items than allowed but one of the cashiers says you only have 7 items more than allowed so I'm ok with that. To be fair I had 48 items total. 23 were Gatorade bottles. I hope that whoever manages this store reads this and either allows their employees to use common sense or use the same rules for everyone. When given the choice of time or expediency I will not shop here anymore. It was comical if it wasn't frustrating

Yelp
red velvet cake from the bakery is to die for and I love the fruit bar. I don't know if I could actually do my shopping here b/c it's a little overwhelming. There's so much going on I feel like I have ADD, but planning a nice dinner for 2 this is the place to go whether you are going to cook it yourself or you can just stop by the cafe and pick up a nice selection. I highly recommend this place for the busy family or if you have guests coming it's a life safer. If you are needing a great dessert this is the place. Should you need a cheese or fruit tray make sure you order the day before they don't have ready made trays like Krogers or Randall's

Yelp
8:30 PM, only one register open, 15 items or less. There are 8 persons ahead of me. The only other open registers are the self-checkout. Line there too. I do not do self-checkouts. So I left my cart in the line and exited the store. Maybe they'll keep open more registers in the future.

Yelp
I love their amazing selection here. Potato salad, hummus, sushi, cheese and lunch meats just scream my name when I walk in. I found it incredible helpful to find a gluten free section without the crazy marked up prices and everyone is so super helpful. I feel like they have a Wal-Mart greeter type person in produce. I see him there every time floating between fruits and beers. I thought he was a beer rep at first when I met him at the beer coolers but after a quick chat, I was soon lapping him at import talk. I appreciate the help anyhow. The produce is awesome here, the prepared foods are fantastic and if I could partake in those giant cupcakes, I'm sure they'd be awesome too.

Yelp
This is the best HEB ever. I am so sad that I can't frequent this store as often as I did when I lived in this area of town. It's clean, friendly and always fully stocked. They are everything a picky grocery store shopper could ask for. *Sighs* How I miss my HEB! The stores in Kingwood could take notes on this store! I went here so much, the employees knew my name. Unfortunately, this store is super crowded on weekend mornings, which is when I have time to visit. Also, their hair products section could use some work. A few of the items have apparently been sitting there for awhile and have accumulated dust. But, their beauty section is great! If I lived in Spring, this would be my grocery store of choice.

Yelp
OMG I love Cierra. She gives the best experience and is always so pleasant. She's adorable and knowledgeable. She is always given me the best recipes and her food is awesome. I always buy what she suggests. It's crazy because she knows my whole family by name now. Thanks HEB
