This grocery store is so amazing it's unreal. Best delicatessen/deli staff and bakery, with spectacular produce and meat sections, and all my very many favorite products. They have all my must have items, like my planet oat creamer and salad/salad toppers, my st Pierre breads, vegan meats and boars head deli meats, they even have st agur which is the best blue cheese in the entire world - on and on and on, and a million products that I've just discovered thanks to this unbelievable store. So much love to my HEB! I just moved from MN, and just as I started to miss my cub foods,I discovered this heavenly store. Better than the central market!

Google
The store itself is great! But this is the second time I find something in either the can food items or in the actual food they sell. HEB HAS ALWAYS BEEN great about wanting feedback about anything wrong with their items so I will be sure to show them this. I warmed the beans on the oven and was trying to taste the consistency to see if needed anything else and I found a piece of blue rubber band in my mouth. As I looked through the rest of the beans there were two more pieces of the blue rubber material. See below.

Boy what an experience I had today. Walked into the produce aisle and slipped because staff failed to contain the area and put out wet floor signs. I was also stopped by a security guard because I was apparently driving my cart too fast? I was unaware a sense of urgency was an issue. I was also not carded for the alcohol I purchased-- friendly reminder that anyone purchasing liquor should be carded, TABC will revoke a license really quick. I come here twice a week, but I won't be returning due to harassment from multiple staff members.

Google
The store is very nice, but unfortunately, there are employees who ruin the good work of everyone else. I'm referring to a delicatessen/deli staff member whose name begins with a Z. This employee has no idea what customer service is, displaying rudeness and poor manners. She disrespected me, when I asked to speak to her manager, she yelled at me and said she was the manager. This happened on Friday 8/8/2025 around 2:00 pm.

Google
I love this Texas store. So proud of it. Their fresh meat and seafood is awesome, as is their cheese, fruit, and vegetable selections. The employees are cordial and well trained. Service is beyond good.

I had the absolute pleasure of interacting with Emily at the self-checkout today, and I just have to say — she is a gem! Not only is she incredibly sweet and approachable, but it’s clear she genuinely cares about the well-being of others, especially the older customers. As a young adult, she goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and confident while using the self-checkout. I watched her patiently assist a senior customer, making sure they were able to complete their transaction without a hitch, all with such kindness and grace. It’s rare to see such compassion and attentiveness in a workplace, and Emily is a true testament to the kind of customer service that makes a difference. She's not just doing her job; she's making a positive impact in her community. Thank you, Emily, for being so wonderful If you run into her, please make sure to tell her how proud I am of her and keep up the GREAT WORK !!! Go Emily Go

Google
I have a complaint about an HEB product, I love this store and all HEBs, so this is rare Lol The HEB Texas Style Chili without beans has some horrible pieces of something with a hog maw texture...completely unchewable and does not even match the color or texes or the ground beef. It's even lighter on color and I thought the first couple cans were just a bad batch. Not eating canned chili on a regular basis, it takes a while before I need it again. Based on family feedback, the one with beans is still awesome, but that's not the one I eat. Wherever we move, we make sure there's an HEB near. The staff, curbside, never long lines...all the reasons I love HEB!

Google
So i have been getting my groceries almost 3 years now from this branch. Today for some reason the cashier decided to ask for my ID when i purchased wine, bare in mind i definitely respect the process but can someone explain to me why in the whole passed 3 years no one did and per providing my photo of ID the whatever supposed to be a manager whom Ive seen forever and knows me said oh no needs to be a physical one. Listen stupid people even specs as an alcohol place doesn’t do that. Either you always ask for an ID so people knows that or don’t play stupid smart ass whenever you are bored. I didn’t want to be a karen though definitely well deserved tonight but this wont pass, as i am definitely sure next time i am there no one will even care to ask for my ID as usual and will make sure to make a big deal then🙂

Yelp
Huge signature HEB with excellent customer service. As you enter to left of store there are making seafood with wine tastings by the produce area. Very easy to find way around the store and we'll organized. Came in for a few items and was happy to see how fresh their produce was . Would return.

Yelp
I have to say the store brands Organics Jasmine green tea definitely wasn't a disappointment. The tea definitely help with my concentration, mood, and energy. I'll definitely consider getting some more when I go grocery shopping again.

Yelp
It is a great place to shop, and this time, I tried to shop online for curbside pickup. This was my first pick-up order, but then I realized that there was a curbside pick-up area.was crowded, but since their staff was very professional and fast, cars were leaving fast, too. As soon as I parked, even before I checked in, one of the staff members came and saw my email confirmation and ran back to bring my order. Uvald was very friendly, with a lovely smile. Within a few minutes, he loaded my groceries in the trunk and said have a great day. I was like, WOW, and thank you. Thank you, HEB, for the excellent training and your organized structure for your customers. I highly recommend curbside pickup, too.

Yelp
Delivery of food items instead of alerting me they were out of the item I selected this is what they sent

Yelp
H‑E‑B is my kind of store. This place has an out of the world deli. They also offer many choices for organic and vegan food that my fave yelpie recommends. If it wasn't for the 80s music playing throughout the store and the huge selectionOf organic and healthy fruits and vegetables I wouldn't drive this far for my shopping needs. Plenty of parking good customer service and managers they will help you find whatever you need even if they are out of stock.

Yelp
Terribly managed store. Curbside always messes up our order, we're always missing things. They don't train their employees properly, if at all.

Yelp
Your friendly neighborhood HEB. Located near Tanglewood, it's at a fairly busy intersection. The interior is laid out very awkwardly compared to Bunker Hill and Heights, and things were more difficult than needed to find your groceries. Service is friendly!

Yelp
Still 2 stars. Come here at your own risk on the weekends. Road work around the shopping center here makes this supermarket difficult to get in and out. Almost got ran over by an Ohio plate car on the crosswalk (meant for pedestrians (pedestrians have the right of way)) and stared at me while she almost hit me in the middle of the crosswalk. Area has more transients now since the supermarket moved here from westheimer. Sad thing is that I try to go when it's not busy then they run out of stuff for example weekend or weekday nighttime.

Yelp
No other store does MORE! This is my favorite HEB. I will 9 times out of 10 do curbside pick up and it is GREAT!!! I hate going inside so the extra cents that you pay on each item make it worth it for me.
google avatar

Ron L.

Yelp
This HEB may be the most unusual grocery store you've ever been in. The exterior gives a hint about the interior. The driveway in front of the store, to let passengers out in the rain, has a strange roof that looks more avant-garde than Southern or suburban. The walls also look post-modern. Then you step inside, and after finally figuring out how to get past the line of checkout clerks that's as long as the store, you have tall shelves and smallish writing on the overhead signs, again with a post-modern look. It's far enough away from I-610 and Westheimer to not have the vibe of that neighborhood, but it provides that vibe anyway. It's pretty neat. Until you try to find things. In most stores, you can see what side of the store the produce is on; not here. The aisles are nice and wide, but I found myself pushing the buggy s-l-o-w-l-y up the side aisle to see if I could find the right spot. Prices are typical HEB: slightly lower than norm. One feature HEB has is personal shoppers, and they're found all over. It's their job to know where everything is, and when I asked one where an item is, he knew immediately, saving me many minutes. Prices are good, decor is unique, but I had to dock one star because of the not-so-open feel of the store and the user-unfriendly signage.

Yelp
A nice H‑E‑B. Good size. Good location. Good selection. The app sometimes gives you sweet freebies. Like literally. I got 18 cookies free from the bakery. I like their chocolate covered espresso beans are tasty, soups, and some of their sushi.

Yelp
It was my first-time shopping at this H-E-B Store. I was Yelping in the Galleria neighborhood. I had choice of this or Kroger. I chose this due to the distance from where I was. I really wanted to catch sunset because I had an awesome photo at Kroger Store. Not sure how my calculation went, by the time I got here sun was already set. I don't know about you but I always park far away from entrance, when I shop at an unfamiliar place. Okay. So, there I was in the store. There's only one entrance from the parking lot. After the entrance, there's a "lobby" then one door to the right and one door to the left. I'm right-handed, so I walked to the right. It was nice and clean with lots of space. Not knowing that was the end of store layout. I should had entered from the left door. Okay. Okay. Let me think backwards. Produce section is quite fresh. But because I entered from wrong entrance, it feels like I should exit after finish my shopping... Without going through cashier line? No way. What's going on? Because it's a huge store, I would come back one day to go through the right entrance. After I got home to find out one of the 7-up bottle was half empty. No. I'm not going back for that.

Yelp
I just keep finding bugs in the bags of "washed and ready to eat" broccoli. I have found caterpillars in them multiple times and it's getting ridiculous.

Yelp
BEWARE: Ground meats have a 24 hr shelf life and goes down hill from there! Only buy if you are going to use/freeze within 48 hrs!! I order curbside for the week almost every two weeks from HEB@ 290/barker cypress. Last week, I ordered ground chuck. I ordered on the 17th and the best buy was the 18th. I called and was informed that their shelf life is only good for 24 hrs because of how they processed their ground meats. I bought it to use it a few days later, but it was brown and had an odor!! I generally don't call and complain when they mess up my order, but food is too expensive not to bring this up! Beware- their ground meats will not last long and you will waste your money! They refuse to offer a refund or even a partial refund.

Yelp
Shame on HEB. While Gov. Abbott said his decision not to mandate people to wear masks supercedes Judge Lina Hidalgo's, business owners can still refuse to allow people to enter a business with no face covering. I was flabbergasted with all the folks not wearing masks at HEB. I was highly upset. HEB had announced that it would require people to wear masks. I asked to see the manager. Bryce came and said they can't enforce it. Excuse me? People think their rights are being violated. Shoppers' personal freedom doesn't outweigh the health and safety of us shoppers who are wearing masks. Shame on HEB not wanting to confront rebels. Those folks should read about all the restrictions being imposed in Spain. While I found the groceries I was looking for at HEB, I left highly disappointed.

Yelp
Enough with the pallets at 9 PM! A guy was running behind one, careening down the center aisle tonight. I am done with H-E-B.

Yelp
They have the best crab salad there than any other grocery store and they're pesto-salmon, ready-made meals slap.
google avatar

Yelp
Vi in pharmacy is AMAZING! This WAS my first time using HEB Pharmacy and I'll definitely be a returning customer! She took the time to check if my insurance covered my medications and found cheaper alternatives for the ones that weren't covered! I had a wonderful experience!

Yelp
So please feel FREE to come and do GROCERY It's easier than learning your ABC It's easier than counting One Two THREE It's easier than being gay in PARIS Than France being invaded by GERMANY Than Cochran declaring you're NOT GUILTY And getting the DA to accept your PLEA It's cheaper than Barbie's hourly FEE It's easier than bribing a FIFA REFEREE It's cheaper than Barbie on a SPENDING SPREE Everything on sale's more than one CALORIE It'll make you get larger, I GUARANTEE And all that OJ you SEE will make you run and PEE And if you have $$$$ you can go on ME But it'll be worth it, or my name's not BAMBI Come and get some juice at HEB WHAT This HEB as hard to get to unless you're already in the Galleria area, which admittedly many people are, but many people doesn't usually include Barbie and I. Not too convenient then, as it's a little ways off of any Highway. Closer to 610, but that road in this section can be a nightmare, and coming up here from 59 can take forever in the daytime. Really, these roads around here are awful. And there are cops shooting radar too. It is next to the gym we used to go to but we stopped because the downtown one is so much better. We used to like to come here late at night shortly before closing, after we got out of Jim, I mean the gym. They usually have some good stuff, but sometimes they're sold out of other stuff that they have more consistently at the other locations we frequent. But this HEB design is really nice and honestly a palace compared to some of the others. Employees have usually been pretty nice to us and pretty decent generally speaking. There are very noticeable exceptions though. Will definitely come back here again in future and it's also a good store for people-watching. Definitely a better crew than some of the others. We stop here when we need to pee Or when we need some grocery The prices aren't low But it's still where we go Because hot girls shop at HEB What?

Yelp
Yesterday was maybe my 4th or 5th time here. I remember being so excited to have given it a try after my first visit (even if they didn't care any of the coffee I like to buy). I remember wanting to take pics to send to folks so they'd know to swing by and telling my son that he'd have to come with me to see all the selection for himself. But after yesterday, I don't know.... We were in express, which I hadn't paid attention to and which the checker didn't make clear despite all that I was putting on the conveyer belt. We were eventually asked to help bag, which I wasn't willing to do because I'd never asked any of my customers - under any circumstances - to help me do my job when I was a checker back in the late 90s. So my son was the one who helped. But without a "thank you" for pitching in or for shopping at HEB or even a "goodbye" (or a "please" when she asked if we could help her), the entire transaction came across the wrong way, especially when I asked the checker if that was all [to bag] and only got a "yeah" before leaving the check stand. So I felt like I had to complain to the manager and did.....I think I left this last part out about how things ended while explaining. I was so taken aback the exchange. She pointed out that I was in express, which isn't normally where baggers go. But she listened and said she'd talk to the checker. If we shop here again, I'll definitely pay more attention to the type of check stand I'm entering. But never having been asked to help a checker bag, I doubt I will.

Yelp
I am really late in posting this review but as they say better late than never. I cannot say enough good things about HEB. I had a popcorn bar at my daughters wedding and went straight to HEB for the goods. Darr was so amazing helping me find someone that could get all of my items. I purchased kettle corn and buttered corn and cheese corn and when I say purchased I mean I bought cases. When the wedding is for 200+ people you have no idea how much you will need. Darr said what ever I did not use just to bring back to the store and they would refund my money. How amazing is that! Now for the next problem that HEB solved. Part of the floral designer did not come up with all of the flowers correctly for the wedding. Say what?????? So HEB to the rescue getting the flower girls petals and the aisle flowers to make the ceremony even more beautiful. I love HEB! Thank you for your commitment to great customer service.

Yelp
My HEB - what a great store. First if you haven't been you should check it out - they have a HUGE variety of quality things that you won't find at some of the other stores. Second there are other stores obviously - this one consistently has customer friendly people through out the store - even when you ask the occasional silly question they are nice about it - the batteries were literally a few feet away when I asked. Finally and most importantly their prepared food is phenomenal. They have a wide variety which takes in to account most diets people are on. And these you definitely have to try out - I have yet to have a bad one. I would recommend HEB and this one in particular.

Nathan V.

Yelp
This is my first time using HEB curbside, and I will say the workers there made it super stress free and easy to handle. Great management and will continue to be using their curbside feature!

Scott G.

Yelp
I tried shopping here a lot when I first moved to the area but I hate the interior layout, it's a maze that's traps you and it's difficult to navigate because it's so packed with people and poor aisle layout. So I used curbside pickup, which is worse. Sometimes there would be a line of cars backed up waiting to park because they're running so late. When I arrived to pick up an order today they called my cell after I'd checked in to tell me it would be a 30-45 minute wait. And i showed up 10 minutes after the start of my pick up time. H‑E‑B has some good food products, but this location is a pain.
google avatar

Barret L.

Yelp
Love this H-E-B! They always have fresh food options and good deals. It is always pretty busy though, so there is often a lot of tactical cart dodging if you're in a hurry! I live close to several other grocery stores, but I always pass them up to shop here. They also were wonderful during Hurricane Harvey: kind and patient with customers (contrary to other grocery stores nearby), amazing with donations and helping those affected by the storm, and even customized food orders to increase bread supply to supplement the demand in the community. Their response during the storm will always keep them near and dear to my heart!
google avatar

Alejandra H.

Yelp
This is HEB is amazing, I get curbside most of the time and every time muy groceries are fresh, complete and specially on time. Staff is always nice and leave my groceries organize. Definitely a 5 stars service, is always clean and well organized.
google avatar

Julia O.

Yelp
Spectacular, well stocked, spotless, every variety of everything you can imagine. What a grocery store! It's Hatch chili time so I loaded up....now I have to schlep it all home on my flight. I could only wish for a store like this where I live ....

Babiel A.

Yelp
I usually go to heb on hwy 6 and Bellaire which they all always have great customer service from the whole team. But today I decided to go to the upper kirby never again. I was disappointed no customer service from cashier Leah F at all. As it was my turn Leah never smile or even a hello straight just told me to take all my items out from carry on basket as if she was annoyed. I didn't have no problem with that but her energy was just rude which made me mad. I want to thank one of the female employee by the bakery who asked me if I had needed help as I came into the store was so nice of her. As HEB my favorite store please look into make sure your cashiers are friendly and welcome their customers!
google avatar

Bethe C.

Yelp
I love going to HEB when I am in Texas. I wish they would move to South Carolina! They have delicious ready made food- salads, meals and meals you can just pop in the oven. Beautiful bakery also.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this H‑E‑B! I've gone to others that seem like a cluttered mess & is ALWAYS packed so this one is nice. It's very clean and organized.
google avatar

Timothy C.

Yelp
Love my HEB. Always a quick drop and stop. Great prices and in out fast. Only bad thing about this location is that I always impulse buy!!! Come on, quick leaving all those candies and magazines in the check out lines.

Fmd H.

Yelp
Well as of today it's official... I will be switching over to the HEB on Bunker Hill. The San Felipe store has lost my business due to the lack of certain inventory items. They have literally taken off the shelf. They no longer carry water chestnuts or zataran's Creole mustard... The person helping me looked it up on their app and told me no longer available. This has been the trend over the last 12 months at this store. Additionally, they are remodeling the store and it is a mess right here at Thanksgiving shopping season. I'm not sure what they're trying to accomplish but it's not good.
google avatar

Curtis W.

Yelp
I normally shop at the HEB in La Porte which is a fantastic store and always a great experience. This store, San Felipe, on the hand is not. I will never set foot in this HEB again. I can find prepared meals elsewhere. I was checking out and the cashiers where changing out. I attempted to be friendly with the new cashier and was met with blankness. So I tried a second time to be friendly and she wasn't having it. How very rude, in my opinion. So much for this HEB. Do better!

Yelp
This review is for the curbside delivery service. It is simply outstanding. For folks who lead busy lives and don't have time to walk grocery store aisles, this is for you. Begin by creating an online account which includes payment info. From there, select the items needed. I love the fact that you can allow substitutions if needed and leave additional comments such as "expiration date at least 2 days out". All items are organized into categories with tabs at the top of the page. But if you find it easier, use the search bar and type in what you want. Ex. "paper plates" and available options will appear. Finally, coupons and sales are honored as well. Simply add them when applicable. Select the day and time you want them ready and voila. That's it. So simple. I really appreciate the text reminder when the order is ready and the instructions needed for pickup. This service is a game changer for me. I love it.

Makenzie C.

Yelp
I've ordered plenty of birthday cakes from H‑E‑B in the past . The cake I picked up today from the bakery was beyond disappointing. The design was awesome but the cake was extremely dry . Never had this issue before. Needless to say this was my last cake from H‑E‑B !
google avatar

Kathy M.

Yelp
The layout of the HEB is pretty unique, but I love how clean and modern this location is. I had a really great experience at this HEB this past weekend. As I was searching for the perfect pineapple, an HEB staff member took the initiative and asked if I needed help picking one out. He provided some tips and suggested one that looked ripe. When I got home and cut it open, the pineapple was perfect! It was sweet and juicy - just how I like it. Shout out to the guy who helped me pick this out. I wish I got his name but he definitely made my shopping experience better!

Yelp
This has been my local HEB for a couple years now, and our relationship is still going strong (82 check ins and counting). I have been spoiled by the shiny, flashy glory of this location. 1) It is a huge space. The high ceilings and wide aisles provide a comfortable shopping experience even during peak hours. 2) The selection is great. Giant produce section. Most HEBs have a cheese corner, but this one has a WHOLE ISLAND. And they even have a surprisingly well-stocked ethnic foods section, which is convenient when I'm missing a specific ingredient and don't have time to drive to HMart or 99. 3) Parking is a breeze. It gets a little crowded on the weekend, but even then there is still parking as long as you are willing to walk a bit more (some rare daily exercise wow). So much love.

Yelp
This is my first time visiting the San Felipe location, and it's quite different compared to other HEBs I've been to before. First off, this HEB has an actual dine-in restaurant inside, which is pretty cool. For those who want to take a break from shopping or is really hungry, you can dine in at Table 57. I think next time I would like to try this restaurant. Then, they got a sushi station that offers hot entrees. Why visit a restaurant when there are so many options here at HEB? I wouldn't say this is the largest HEB location I've seen, but it has a lot more crammed into one building. I feel the aisles are much shorter compared to other grocery stores or other HEB locations. I liked that they have more variety of organic/natural chicken available though- this seems to be lacking at other HEB locations. And I saw bagged lentils, which I instantly got two bags of (I wanted to get more but decided to try these first). Lentils are so hard to find at other HEB locations. Today, as I was checking out, I heard an announcement that they were giving away stainless steel cooking ware as a one-time promo thing on aisle 17 to all customers in a few minutes, with no purchase required. I checked out and went back to aisle 17, and there was a guy there doing demonstrations for a cooking tool. After his demonstration, he gave out a small knife. It's a one-time promo thing, but I think it's cool that this store is doing that. I've never been to a store that does promos like this. Makes me wonder if they do other promos from time to time.

Yelp
I went in on Monday to order a custom cake for one of my best friends. I brought in a picture of exactly what I wanted. I was told I could pick up on Sunday whenever I needed it! I couldn't believe my eyes when I came to pick up the cake. It was exactly what I asked for and matched the picture perfectly! Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious and just perfect for the occasion

Yelp
It's been over a year since the new location has opened (holy crap I'm getting old fast), and 99% of my grocery shopping is done between here and Costco so I thought I'd update my review. Parking is still kind of bad but not as bad as it was when they first opened. You still may have to walk quite a while. Their produce is very fresh but their sealed salad bowls (that you can take to work) kind of took a turn to the south lately. Some of their salads even have pasta in them...who wants empty carbs with a healthy salad? Anyhoo, still, best produce section of all the local stores. Their fishy smell is still there, especially when you come around 8 or 9 pm and unfortunately, it's right next to the produce and the booth where the guy in the chef's hat cooks up stuff so the good smell of the food with the smell of fish water doesn't go well. Also, I'm not a big fan of their layout. It seems that the same types of item are in 3 different spots in the store. Let's say you want cheese. There is the consumer cheese section, then there is the fancy cheese section, and then there is the really fancy cheese section. Same with lunch meat. there is a foofoo section, the consumer section, and the deli. All in all, I am pretty happy with them though so all my complaints are 1st world type of issues.

Yelp
They have been making things right. There are times I found what I needed when I couldn't get them else where. Reasonable pricing. Great customer service. Thank you again HEB San Felipe!!!!

Yelp
This place is MASSIVE. You would be hard pressed to come here and not find what you need, and probably 5 different versions of that item. They have all of your typical grocery departments and huge produce, meat, and dairy sections. Drawback to this location is that it is always packed - with a store this great, makes sense. But that does mean parking can be frustrating, especially at peak times.

Strange J.

Yelp
Some things never even cross your mind as a possibility, and then they happen. Let me tell you about Saturday. First, I am among many, many people who absolutely HATE personal grocery shoppers. They are rude, inconsiderate, block entire aisles for extended periods of time and believe that their shopping is more important than anyone else's. I personally think they should all be put on midnight shift so they can do their shopping uninterrupted so that real people can navigate a store during normal business hours. On Saturday, I was doing some shopping at my local HEB store, and, as usual, it was over run with "personal shoppers" and their mega carts. One was blocking an area right next to a produce that I wanted. I waited and waited, then I waited some more. Then this personal shopper - who was about twenty - walked past me to the other end of the aisle and got something and came back. I had been there about 8 minutes by now, and he knew it. As he passed by, I said "How much more time do you need?" He replied "I'll take all the time I want." and kept walking. After another couple of minutes, he moved his cart a bit further down the aisle and I moved up and got what I was waiting to get, then I went around him and stopped about six feet in front of his cart to get something else. He pushed his cart very close behind mine and said "How much more time do you need?" I replied "I'll take all the time I want", just as he had. His response? He said quite loudly "Move your cart or I will punch you the FU** out old man." This was in front of a half dozen other customers and at least one other HEB employee. I put my arms to my side and said "Bring it. You've already said enough to get fired, and if you swing at me you'll be in jail until at LEAST Monday afternoon, and then I'll sue the store and you personally and get rich. Take your shot." The other HEB employee took off and went to get a manager while the growing crowd was taking video waiting for the action to start. When the Manager arrived, this personal shopper told her that he had said it because I wouldn't move my cart out of his way. The manager and the other HEB employee shuffled this personal shopper off through some back doors. At this point, I still don't have so much as an apology from HEB, and I honestly doubt that I will get one. This was at the HEB at San Felipe and Fountain View.

Yelp
Woooooowwwwwww! So this is what everybody was talking about. I felt a little bad when the H.E.B. off of Westheimer/Fountainview closed down and pondered me on why this busy store would just disappear over night for me. Driving further down the road I came upon the grand daddy of any H.E.B. I've ever seen. Someone took an H.E.B. store and shot it up with steroids and here is what you get, all muscle and no winky dinky. Everything you could find any any "other" flagship store is here including a few places to eat. They were closed when I got here but there is a Sushi place, a bbq counter and probably another that I missed. Every isle and corner you turn you will find something that you won't find at your local stock store like a dedicated beef jerky place, spices, cheese, olives, candies, breads, meats, teas you name it you are guaranteed to find it here. Household items that are unique to find are here too for example those granite ice cubes you freeze then put in your drink to keep cold, stone shot glasses and just things you expect to find a one of those weird import stores. Parking, have you ever seen a place where an 18 wheeler could drive down a row and literally back up into a parking place if one existed? Well the space exists here, there is about a 20 feet gap in between parking isles so if you happen to back up and hit someone else's vehicle here? You must either be Asian or tended to drive home backwards, they could really fit another isle of parking spots there. The wine selection is obviously huge and there are wine tastings here at times.

Yelp
The real reason why I love this HEB so much as because it is really close to my work. So, if I need to get some food on the fly, I can just head on over there and in a minute I'm there. I get what I need and leave. Also, it's usually very clean. The people very friendly and really really helpful. It's organized in a way that's not difficult to navigate inside and you're usually in-and-out. The the lines are quite quick.

Yelp
Today I went grocery shopping at this HEB. While I was checking out I botched several items I was being charged that weren't mine (they possibly belonged person that went before me and got pilled up with mine by the cashier not paying attention) and when I noticed them I told CESAR (the cashier at register number 7) that they weren't mine, he told me: "well they are here with your stuff". I told him I didn't even out those in my cart. He then proceeded to be a smart ass and said: "well are you sure you didn't" in a rude manner. I said they aren't mine and he continued to be rude. If I ever second guessed shopping at this HEB; I got my answer now.

Yelp
New to Texas and had never heard of H-E-B ; I was actually pronouncing it HEB(one syllable ) until I was nicely corrected. Prices are great ! I love they have vendors and food tastings throughout the store . It's nothing like getting off of work and walking into a grocery store hungry and a smiling employee says "would you like to try some guacamole?" - why yes , yes I would Then passing through the meat section and there's another employee grilling burger sliders -sayyyy whaaaaa?!? Then y'all I'm not kidding I went in on a Sunday I think it was an every single corner around the adult beverages had a vendor - this is like the Oprah moment when she's like "you get a sample , you get a sample" Love this store it's my new fav !
