One of my favorite locations. I love their fruit and vegetables. Very fresh salads with a lot of variety. Love their meat department. Very clean and well stocked. Great customer service. Good eyebrow threading salon inside this store. The brand new drive through pharmacy is awesome!

Always such a pleasure to shop there! Endless selections of pretty much everything you can imagine needing! Wish they were a national chain! I visit at least twice every time I go to Texas. Staff is friendly and always helpful!

HEB is just another Walmart you can tell by the people that shop there as well as the vibe. From the moment I entered the parking lot, I knew it was going to be a stressful experience. I left that place with a migraine. The customer service is lacking and needs improvement. My partner wanted to try some beer that was on clearance ( with a yellow tag placed) tell me why this young man couldn’t honored the price? He said that it was not showing in the system and that he was having a hard time finding it. WTH. It is your job to honor or call someone above you to honor the clearance item. In the end, my partner decided not to purchase it. The produce department was just a disappointment all the way around. I ended up going to Kroger’s just to get the quality that I was expecting. I did not find the organic quality that I am used to. I thought by giving this store a chance, I was going to be happy. I ended up doing two separate trips to get what I needed. I do not understand the hype at all.

I purchased HEB Bakery garlic munchies and when I was biting into one of them I bit into a triangular shard of plastic. I noticed as I was chewing and had to remove it from my mouth to get a better look, I was very disappointed. Upon contacting HEB customer service via the app and curbside help option I was emailed back a remedial, generic response and automatically refunded the $3 and something change I spent on the garlic munchies. I had not even asked for the refund but I'll assume the rep viewed that as the best option to "make this right". I have no idea what kind of follow-up measures they will take to make sure this never happens again or to find out why or how it happened at their in-store HEB Bakery. It's more than those $3 and few cents, it's the principle. I could have chipped a tooth or swallowed something sharp and injured myself internally. Their customer service response to a matter as serious as this one was dismissive, to say the least. It was not taken serious at all. Perhaps this happens all the time? Either way, this type of recklessness tends to lead to its own demise sooner than later. I will leave 2 stars because I do get my curbside pick up orders from here on a weekly basis but that may change after this. I'm considering switching to Walmart because of the pricing of products in general and just the fact that Walmart has a wider selection of plant-based products on their app. HEB also does not include all of their plant-based products in their curbside selection so Walmart's curbside department is already ahead of the game when it comes to that.

Never using HEB delivery again. My mom’s order was placed through the HEB app. Someone was texting us with updates. Then they get to the register and the order number can’t be found. All communication cuts off. We are starting to freak out and wonder where the food is. Can’t call anyone because the lines are “too busy for a technical order”. We then get a text that we have another driver shopping our order. We call the store directly to figure out what is wrong. The store lead tells us HEB now has a partnership with DoorDash. They give off orders to DoorDash when heb orders are at a max capacity and they can’t see ANY information when they hand it off. Oh. She also said it was random. So we can’t opt in or out. They randomly select. However there is no contact information. No status updates. Nothing. They confirmed there was a crash and that the food was put back. Again, no communication that this happened. We had to call the Summerwood store to see what happened. This was supposed to be our food for thanksgiving for our family of 40. My mom didn’t personally shop because she was helping me as I just recently had surgery and can’t walk yet. This was supposed to make things easier. Now this is a bigger headache because now the second delivery driver texted that the number is no longer able to be contacted while we are on the phone with the store. We wanted to cancel the order so she can go shopping in person at another store herself instead. The app doesn’t let us, which still hasn’t updated, the store can’t do it. So they give us door dashes contact number. Which happens to be the number we called in the first placed that can’t be answered due to a technical difficulty. No food. $477 is on hold, which can’t go towards shopping at another store. NEVER use HEB delivery. Unless you want a disappointing family holiday. Update: we called door dash. After being on hold for over 30 minutes, they didn’t know what to do. They told us we needed to call HEB and they can cancel the order. Update again: after 3.5 hours after our order was scheduled to be delivered, we finally receive a text.

My first time ordering a cake and I was so disappointed. I told the lady is not what I asked for she just stood there not saying anything. I then called after I left because I was in a rush, and the manager said they could of fixed it but i did tell her and i couldn’t wait. What is the point of ordering a cake a week before if they are going to make what you order.

Horrible experience at the HEB bakery. I ordered my 6 year old daughter’s birthday cake Thursday and told them to make it just like it’s shown in the picture.. it looks nothing like it. Looks so plain. My daughter even asked me why it was white. Nobody offered to fix it. They didn’t even have the crown on the top of the cake and just about let me leave without it. I had to ask for it. I just paid the $35 and left, very upset.

Hopefully management reaches out behind this. Love the location and big ups to the bakery! Only giving 3 stars due to being a victim of EBT card skimming here. I highly recommend staff to further investigate please!! Double check the card machines at checkout.

I had 3 goals when I came to HEB on my lunch break. Stuff to make Birria tacos, a specific creole sausage for breakfast and some eggs that have been elusive all week due to being out of stock or super expensive. HeB had eggs at a great price and I stocked up, we eat a ton of eggs. This HEB is always well stocked but always crowded too. I made a great choice of time and came at the right time where the crowds were minimal. I got everything I needed in about 30 minutes because the store was well stocked. Shout out to the HEB app, it directed me to the exact aisle for the items I needed and there was even a map to show the approximate location on the shelf. Checkout was quick and easy, I used the regular register and not the self checkout but the guys were efficient and friendly.

Pictured are a few of my favorite beverages. Heb is so organized and makes it easy to find what I'm looking for. If u haven't tried coconut water, I don't know what you're waiting on. It's good for hydration!!!

Subject: Ongoing Gnat Infestation in Produce Section - Store Concern Dear H-E-B Corporate Team, I am writing to express my growing frustration and disappointment regarding the produce section at your 12680 W. Lake Houston Plwy store. For over a month now--possibly longer--I have consistently encountered a serious gnat infestation among the fruits and vegetables. These gnats are not only bothersome while shopping--getting into customers' eyes and noses--but also follow us home with our groceries. The problem has become so severe that I had to purchase a gnat trap to place near my fruit at home after unknowingly bringing home a bag full of gnats. I reported this issue to store management, but unfortunately, nothing has been done to address or control the problem. The produce area remains in poor condition, and frankly, it's unacceptable for an H-E-B store to allow this level of neglect. I have always trusted H-E-B to uphold high standards of cleanliness and quality, which makes this situation even more disappointing. It is especially disheartening because I have been a loyal customer, and this is the most convenient location for me. Its right next to the bakery and deli and they can get into and live in the flour that's used to bake cakes and bread. Please take this complaint seriously. I hope corporate will intervene and ensure that corrective action is taken promptly. No customer should have to choose between convenience and cleanliness. This is a LIABILITY!!

This is my regular store, and I really like the variety of products they offer. You can also find some good deals here. The quality of the meat is excellent, the service is very friendly, and the place is always clean. I also love the new renovation they've done, it feels more spacious and much more organized now.

Poor management!! There customers are not a priority in there store. Won't shop there again

this new heb location at madera run is alot better than the summerwood location, all my items that i ordered and listed in the receipt were curbside delivered to me. im making the madera run my location from now on. keep up the good work, and thank you. at the summerwood location, i had missing items on a couple different orders. money was refunded once i had entered a claim on the heb website. summerwood location has not improved over the years. before the madera run location had opened, i alway shopped at the atascosita or kingwood location, for products and service is always 100 times better than summerwood. im glad madera run is open now, for this location is alot closer, better product and service than summerwood.

I love HEB products. I frequent the store. But Summerwood HEB Market located at Lake Houston in Humble, TX. Their Curbside has the most frustrating management team EVER!! The workers who deliver the groceries to the car are great. But if you have an issue, don't count on management to professionally assist you in any shape, form, or fashion. The culture of the management team is less than desirable or acceptable. It's just frustrating, and they can't problem solve for ANYTHING! The #1 chant of the admin. team is, "We didn't do it." Then they pass you around from one person to the next, without resolve. I have dealt with spoiled meat, opened coffee pods, and missing items, and overcharging. I know that things happen, and I can deal with that. But please work on educating your CURBSIDE management team members on interacting with patrons and problem-solving. I am so frustrated that they have such a great store with such an awful curbside management team. The third experience was a charm. Maybe one day the culture of the management team will improve.

I used to LOVE this location, but the great service I used to receive is no more. I have done curbside like most & I've had SEVERAL trips with missing items from order & where I've received clearly expired product or bad produce.

This is the BEST STORE EVER! They stock everything. Their store brands are as good or better than the National brands. I wish they would bring one to Miami, FL. They will let u sample items before you purchase. Everything is always fresh and good. They have many other non food items to choose from as well. I moved from Texas back in 2015 & H-E-B is one thing I miss the most!

This is a really nice H.E.B, I dropped in for one thing and found so much more. This store sells clothes and has a Burns BBQ ... lll drive the 15:20 min to get here. Very clean and has all the specialty stuff that I need.

Today, the day after Hurricane Beryl, trying to find gas had been a nightmare. BUT, then I found this wonderful store that had the presence of mind to have security directing traffic toward the gas pumps. No one cutting in line, no annoying honking. Just order and fairness. Thank you Summerwood HEB. I am truly grateful.

I love this place , no complaints.After the hurricane the managers were very nice trying to help everyone Get in an organized line for Gas. Nick was awesome he was very happy to help everyone he provided amazing Service.

BEST H-E-B EVER!!! The H-E-B store is a high-quality supermarket chain that is a fixture in Texas, and it is the best grocery store in the United States. It is based in Texas and is well recognized for its high quality products. Residents of the Long Star state now consider the H-E-B supermarket to be a crucial component of their everyday lives.

This review is for curbside pick up orders! I absolutely love it so easy quick and convenient, I only had an issue once, with some items missing I called they fixed it right away had to drive back but no biggie got what I needed and went about my day!

Love this HEB! One of my favorites. Their produce is always fully stocked and fresh, I hardly run into produce that looks like it's too ripe or soiled. They have a good variety of everything you can think of. Their meat department is awesome. I think HEB has the better meat selection compared to their other grocery store competitors. I love going on the weekends because almost every corner they have an associate giving away samples of various products and are more than happy to sample you whatever they are giving. Their sushi is really good too, BUT I have had days where the rice was a little on the harder side (like it was sitting there since the morning). That's about my only complaint. The workers there are always helpful, it can look like you're wondering around or lost and someone will bound to ask you if you need help finding something. Love this HEB. Never had a terrible experience.

Every since this pandemic has happened H-E-B workers are the Summerwood location has became unruly rude and very impatient. I understand their putting their selves at risk every time they come into work but I am also. I am an essential worker at this time and their is no way I would treat any of my customers in a way that would make them feel disrespected. This was my favorite H-E-B but I get way better service at the Kroger's down the street. I am extremely dissatisfied as a customer!

I live in the Summerwood subdivision and have watched this store go from nice to terrible . I was shopping Sunday night when two young men were allowed to bring so called "service dogs" in the store . Dirty pit bulls . One of the dogs pooped in the aisle ... really !!!! The apartments and surrounding areas has brought undesirable shoppers but thus was the worst !!! Management should consider and do something!

This is my last time spending my $ at this H-E-B, and it's for the particular reason that every time I shop there, the patrol/police always seem to be focused my direction and this last time I swear it seemed like he pulled out his camera and was focused on for me for some reason. Why Idk? I go in, buy my stuff and get out. But this has happened a few times. If I'm your focus, you need to be retrained, but I can take my $ to a different location. I'm sure this one will still be just fine. But I'm not going to have patrol police doing weird sneaking stuff targeting me. Intimidated me?Never said anything or approach me, but what are you trying to take a pic of my car for? Again, this isn't thr 1st time.

Although I like h.e.b I dislike coming to this location. For one it's over crowded not, not enough parking and can't shop peacefully. It's like playing bumper cars no matter what day it is.

for the past year and now i've been experiencing the worst customer service from this h-e-b. i wouldn't expect this from the location and i thought h-e-b employees are supposed to be friendly and helpful but unfortunately all i get every time i go is a bad attitude and racism from the cashiers and from the manager "ozzie". not only from myself but from my family as well. tonight i was trying to purchase wi the cash and asked for 20 $1's and the employee said "ozzie can i give this change to this lady here?" he replied "do we have enough?" my thoughts was "this is HEB...? the MOST busiest grocery store in our area..." this comment and the attitude from the young lady gave off negative energy and weren't trying to help us. he has given many other customers bad attitudes and would roll his eyes and laugh as if he owns the company him self. PLEASE be AWARE!!! this kind of customer service is very poor and makes me not want to buy anything from HEB. (at least this location) this is the (summerwood HEB)

Meat is expensive now a days, after going home and taking the bags off, they had forgot to give me the bag with all my meats in it!! Bro , Khali the bagger come on, like $50 worth of meat

This HEB has some of the best Texas only coffee and at a decent price. Their gas is cheap too and great. $3 per gallon is a deal. Its too bad they don't any markets out of Texas.

Extremely poor management by store manager. Witnessed racism towards an employee by a customer and the manager telling the employee to apologize to the racist customer. "We take pride in our diversity. Diversity is at the core of our business principles" this is an excerpt from HEB core values "Our Commitment to Diversity" statement. I find it disgusting that a manager would tell an employee to apologize for not wiping down a customers cart a second time when that customer is calling the employee racist names and the employee chooses to stand up for themselves by politely refusing. Clearly diversity and protecting "partners" is not a core value.

Not enough seats to social distance by pharmacy while waiting for vaccine. People came and sat next to me- who knows if they have had Covid vaccine. Also, ladies room went in and only one other person in there and it was a young walking good employee with a long black ponytail that came out of handicap stall. Bad manners! In considerate to those that are handicap. At least it wasn't a healthy 10 year old!!

Love the Coupons hanging around! Got mochi for $1 off, I got mango cookies and cream, and strawberry, YUM!! Have you ever had mochi?? I don't really care if you have or not but you should take advantage of the coupon. Also very smooth floors to ride around in heelys. 20/10

You know how you go to a store at night and there are only two lanes in order? Grrrrrrr!!! Such a pet peeve!! So glad that this HEB knows that people shop at night too. How did you know????? I guess their name speaks for itself: Here everything's better! Even without the samples galore floating around the store, the setup, the aisles, the general flow of the store has a calming fung shui--even during the holiday season! WIth the exception of the Beltway and Bellaire location, HEB is always worth driving out of the way to shop at into the wee hours of the night. Additionally, there is a clearance section right smack in the middle of the frozen food section. Nice!!! Convenience and speedy checkout. Just one of the few perks of being and Here where everything is Better!

Apparently curbside doesn't check the orders at all. I have said I'll never be back to this store but this has really done it. Check your groceries before you leave if you're brave enough to get groceries from here. Disgusting that food would be given this way with open bags and mold.

PHARMACY REVIEW; We like the store, the pharmacy is pitiful and DANGEROUS! Teenager at pharmacy desk get my prescription mixed up with our dogs. I had to call their corporate office, was told it was taken care of? Does this mean that HEB Pharmacy thinks it's ok for my dogs meds to be on my chart at Baylor? Nothing has changed, was I lied to also? IT WAS NEVER FIXED!!! DANGEROUS PHARMACY!!! I'm allergic to my dogs meds and they are for the dog not me so why can't they fix this? My doctors name is different from our veterinarians name? Dog is dead, it's been over a year and the dogs meds are still on my chart. I'll NEVER SHOP AT THAT PHARMACY AGAIN! DANGEROUS!

This location in particularly is always nice! Sometimes it can get a bit expensive if you buy all your groceries there. But they always have great deals so that's definitely worth it.

I did a curbside pickup in this location and I received soggy, brown grapes. They are cotton candy flavored grapes so they are pricey. I called back and they said they'd issue me a refund and they just hung up on me over the phone. I called again and they said they already issued me a refund and I have yet to receive anything or an email saying I was.

Was refilling water at the Glacier water station and it ate my $5 without giving me any water. Told an employee, who went and got her manager. She came back and told me that there was nothing that they could do. So now I'm short $5 with no real solutions from the staff. Really annoying.

Thus is what my ground beef looked like after sitting in my refrigerator for only two days. Went to go use it and its spoiled. This is is totally unacceptable!

I was at HEB today and I had a basket with a probably about $50 to $60 worth of food. I went to pay at the self-checkout when the cashier put her hands in front of me and said no you can't pay here. Why would you ever tell a customer no you can't pay here. I think it's time to retrain your Associates when they're telling your customers they don't want your money.

Absolutely love this heb it's close to our house the place is nicely kept up with it being clean landscaping always done nicely . They have a good selection of fresh meets, fish, fruits and vegetables all of the time. The staff our pretty helpful and for the holidays they always have things such as chocolate covered strawberries and flower arrangements. They have a great bakery and least but not least they offer great deals with coupons in store and out of the store.

HEB made the cake for our Grandparents 57th Wedding Anniversary yesterday and it was beyond amazing. It was beautiful, elegant, radiant, and tasted heavenly. Not to mention we got it for a outstanding price. Thanks HEB for making the cake the highlight of the night!

Seriously, all H E B's are awesome. I have NEVER been to one that was not impressive. I enjoy coming here because of the friendly people and the great customer service. This is my #1 grocery store.

Always a good experience, they all a lot of the organic items i look for and very fresh seafood . Staff always nice and ready to help when you ask questions . I will always recommend people to shop here .

Best HEB ever on hwy6 @ Keith harrow. Th restore is pretty standard, but well kept, nothing super innovative to speak of. But, the customer service here is awesome. That is what's important to me. The store is very clean and the staff is very friendly. My particular favorite HEB employee is Kay. The fact that she is giving samples of wine most of the time only explains my interaction, not the reason why she is so awesome. Just the sweetest woman and will steer you in the right direction on a budget. Very knowledgeable and polite. She is a treasure, the type that you look for in your "home" store. Kudos to HEB for having the wherewithal to recognize a valuable asset.

Bakery ‍: My mother ordered a sheet cake with a quarter sheet on top. The sheet whip cream icing and the quarter sheet buttercream icing. The cake should read UMH Baylor. My mother sent my brother to pick up the cake on yesterday an hour before the event. The cake was completely wrong wrong wrong ! My brother wasn't aware on how the cake was suppose to look and my mother didn't think she would have to be on cake watch since I told her to order from HEB. The cake was a half a sheet with a quarter sheet on top and a cardboard box that was placed in between the too cakes. The colors was wrong, no writing and buttercream icing on the whole cake. We was forced to use the cake due to the timing of the event. Today my mother called to complain and the bakery manager was very unprofessional and rude. He told my mother all they cakes have cardboard boxes in between them(I've never heard or seen that from an HEB bakery before) my mother informed him of all the problems and he told her she should have said something yesterday. My mother informed him that the bottom cake wasn't able to be eaten because all the icing came off. The bakery manager told my mother she should have icing the cake herself. What kind of BS is that. I will NEVER order another cake from HEB again.

I absolutely love this location. I don't know if I prefer the men or the food...I'll explain. I met my current beau there, as I visited on a whim. Things are going quite great, and I dare say that he might be the one...Especially since emergent jealousy may lend to my gentler side as I just learned of my first cousin's Christmas Eve engagement.... The sample are also plentiful and easy to obtain. The preparation of min meals, while using their in-house ingredients is always "on tap." I especially enjoy looking for the ever-present yellow coupons. It's amazing to see how the purchase of one item leads to obtaining 5 to 6 free items. I also prefer these fruit and vegetables to what Kroger carries. Things seem a bit fresher and definitely cheaper. So, I guess I need to continually give my new beau a shopping list when he's on his way to see me. Besides, he frequents this place so much that I refer to this location as his hang out spot." I also purchased my Dutch Oven from an HEB. I have yet to use it; however, I got it for a great price. While I think this place could carry more Kombucha drinks, I'll take the one brand they offer--while enjoying the sample.

I bought two chef salads from the deli on 6/19/2019. One tasted like lettuce had not been rinsed and the other had a grasshopper in it.

I absolutely love this location. I'm a H-E-B shopper, and this is the only one that is anywhere close to me. And it's 10 miles away from my house. It is definitely worth the drive! The produce is always fresh and it is always fully stocked with what I need. I can always find what I need as there is a big variety of different things throughout the store. The isles are wide and this store is impeccable in terms of cleanliness. I actually hate grocery shopping, but this H-E-B makes life just a little easier. Thanks to the staff who work here as it isn't hard to keep such a big store as nice and clean as this store is!

Good gas prices!

I am so glad HEB stepped up to the game and closed down all the ones in the bad location. I can honestly say, I am now a fan. Wholefoods is quite far from where I live. When I don't feel like driving that far, I come here which works perfectly fine for me. They have many fresh produce and even organic produce available which I like the most. This grocery store is clean, doesn't feel crowded, and has wonderful bakery that has fresh baked goods for you to grab. My favorite? their "pistachio muffins!" They have "healthy snacks" area with different nut snacks available like "almonds, peanuts, pistachios, walnuts, etc" similar to the one you could find in wholefoods. All the aisles are very well organized and clean and you will not get lost! Wine aisle is huge and probably bigger than the ones I found at Wholefoods which I love. They have cheese area too. I really like this HEB. Not only it has that feeling of a relaxing grocery experience, the staff and workers are always so friendly and helpful with everything! no complains!

I was undoubtedly was sad when I moved to the other side of Houston and sis not have an HEB down the street from where I lived. I would go to the competitors that were close by and was not satisfied with the prices or selection that they had to offer. Was I spoiled by HEB and all they had to offer. Of course I was. I was bound and determined to find an HEB that I can do my shopping at. I course go onto HEB's website to find one that is close but I can get all my HEB fixes. This location is definitely the one I chose to go to and am glad I did. I could spend all day in HEB, sad I know, but i do love this grocery store. I gave 4 stars because there have been several occasions that the checker has not been ever so friendly. I know we have all our days, but i have been in their shoes during high school and the first year of college. All I ask is for them to try to fake a smile.

My friends and I were looking for the ingredients to make some pork ramen and we found them all here. The butcher even went the extra mile and found some pork belly for us when he didn't have to. Love coming here and will continue to shop at this H-E-B. Employees are always friendly and shout out to the nice girl with plugs who digs Star Wars.

I love my HEB. I wish they would have me on their commercial. A day in the life of Renia at HER H.E.B. You would see tight cheeks and a basket full of those little sample cups and crumbs. All I do is eat at HEB oh a lose $100 dollar bills apparently!! (that's another blog) The Produce is always fresh, the chefs that cook in the middle of the store know me by name (not sure if that is a good thing), the sushi is always gracious and gives me extras, and the bread lady never shooes me away when I have eaten the whole bag of Pistachio, cranberry bread. And don't even get started on the warm tortilla samples. I even circle twice meaning after I get all my groceries I go around one more time to see what else I can eat before I leave. As I read this, I am realizing why my husband often decline Sunday Funday at the grocery store.

I love HEB. From the short and fast check out lanes, the samples when I seem to be starving, fresh produce, Central Market products, I love so much about this store. I don't love the huge race car carts- but my kids love to beg for them! I do love Buddy bucks.
