I've had experiences with the store both as an Instacart shopper and a customer. Neither has been impressive. First, I am a grad student so I do this job to make money and because it's flexible. As a customer I'm embarrassed for the people that work here. I cannot tell you how rude everyone is here. Sundays are good for working because everyone does their shopping on this day. You can't tell this store that. They have people stocking shelves while blocking every pathway with huge carts, boxes, just a mess. Knowing that everyone shops on Sunday does not mean they care about stocking what you need because they don't. It's especially important for me that they stock well because customers want their groceries. For me, I'll just go to Kroger. The only reason I shop here, not that I ever will again, because a lot of people use shopping apps here. My main concern, though, is that most of these people do not care about their job. They do not care about being kind they do not care about being good at their job, etc. You literally will be made to feel like you are in their way. One of my biggest pet peeves is that they do not teach their employees how to bag groceries. They will put your deodorant in with your hamburger meat, they will put your four pack of pineapple juice on top of your bread. I refuse to let them bag my groceries because it's very important that I, myself, don't have my groceries done like that, but primarily because I don't want the customers I shop for to have their groceries bagged like that. They get super offended that I want to bag my own groceries. Bear in mind that customers 'grade' me in bagging as well as other things. I'm not going to hand my customers vegetables that have been bagged with jars of pasta sauce. I can't tell you how bad the store is about that. So, I let them know immediately that I'll be bagging my own groceries. I have had them be so rude to me. They laugh in my face when I tell them it's important that it's done right. Literally, they will make fun of me. Today a girl laughed in my face when I said I get graded on this stuff, she laughed right in front of the manager who then walked away when I told her it wasn't very nice to laugh in peoples faces. This store is awful. Go to the one on Washington, much better.
