I wish HEB was in all the states! Wow I loved this place and would easily make this my go to store. Ready meals were fair and easy and their branded stuff is surprisingly good. I got tea tree essence for a fraction of the price you can get online (for a mix not raw). I kept being so happy with all the fun things here. It really is a good store. This location is big and has just about everything you want. Since I wasn’t familiar with this one it took longer to navigate as the layout wasn’t ideal for new customers. However it was fun to keep wandering and seeing all the cool things.

We’re visiting Houston and came upon HEB by chance. We were not disappointed. The store is clean (even with construction going on) and fully stocked though it was very busy. The produce was fresh and we were able to get a couple peaches which we aren’t available in our state atm. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Def my go to from now on.

This H-E-B is really nice and clean. Looks pretty new and modern as well. The parking lot does get packed pretty much all day, so be prepared to park far back. If you go later in the day (night time), you will probably run into the workers restocking. There will be tons of boxes in the middle of the isles, so do be mindful if you want to do a big trip at night.

Huge place, very well stocked, so many varieties of products, fresh to frozen.

Google
Good curbside experience. One order they forgot some stuff and fixed it immediately. No problems. Haven’t had any issues since. The store is always neat and good customer service. However - this HEB struggles keeping certain items in stock. This has been ongoing for at least a year. I am curious as to why they struggle?

No store does more than my HEB. Love this location. I've returned things here, no questions asked. Employees are always available in every section. I have had help in the fruits, wine, and beauty section. Their hot and ready soup is a good go-to for when I'm loaded with work at home. I wish they would make this a primo filling station, as well.

I’ve been wanting to go to an H-E-B for awhile. I’ve heard how great of a grocery chain it is, and they weren’t exaggerating. This store has it all. From prepared foods you pop in the oven to freshly made sushi to decadent desserts and fresh breads, this store has it. I was so impressed at not only the price of these items but the quality as well. It was amazing. You can even get fresh spices in any quantity you want or even make your own, fresh nut butter right there on the spot! Staff are also extremely friendly and knowledgeable of where things are in this store.

Google
This whole parking situation is ridiculous. It's just not enough parking I quite literally drove around the lot for about 30 minutes waiting for an opening. And then yall created more curbside pick up parking and it's so unnecessary.

Yelp
Just left this HEB, and so far, one of the better HEBs I've been to. This store is mostly stocked with items all HEB has and fully stocked with items most HEBs don't have. The staff is super nice and very helpful. We bought over $200 worth of groceries, including some cheses that we rarely see in other stores. They also have great deals as well. The cashier asked for plastic or paper, which it's rarely asked by cashiers anymore. The parking lot is mostly full, but you will find a spot. It also depends on what day you go as well. We will be back very soon.

Yelp
It saddens me writing this because this is one of my favorite grocery stores, but here goes- Today I stopped in which I do weekly for crawfish, corn and potatoes. Sometimes I just get sausage and corn, sometimes crawfish. The normal 2 guys that works on the weekend was slightly different. This time it was a guy name Marvin, no biggie. I went in, asked about how long for corn and potatoes- he said he don't know. The other guy said maybe 30 minutes so I waited. Backstory, from the time I walked up, Marvin wasn't nice. When I asked questions he would answer once he thought he knew what I was going to say, cut me off a few times and more. The guy with Marvin, younger gentleman, would come back to clean it up trying to answer, he's always nice. After the time was up, I ordered my items and asked for 1 of the garlic butters (circle) they have. Right when I mentioned "bu" He interrupted me and said "yeah you need to go inside for that" Confused, so I finished my sentence. Be repeated himself. Then I told him that it's that item- pointing at it, and I'd like 1 of those. He swayed me off. I just finished making groceries inside, so if I would've known things changed from last week or today, I would've gladly purchased inside. However it's the fact that his response was less than friendly. After my tone became more clear and less happy (I said huh? I'm confused, are we even talking about the same thing that yal give me here every week?) He said handed me my bag while looking away. It may not be a big deal for others, but I enjoy grocery shopping and coming here because the people are always nice and kind. Unfortunately now instead of counting back from Whole Foods and H-E-B during the week, I'll have to switch locations with it for good. I do understand not all are the same, but having an unpleasant experience from a rude employee is never fun.

Yelp
I just received a delivery from heb and tried to call them to clarify my concerns but I was put on hold for a long time. I do my grocery shopping online and have it delivered because I can't barely drive because of my anxiety and pains. I ordered an oxtails and it didn't seem to weigh 2.15 lbs, with a price of 18.25. Also I often receive items that I didn't order and I wonder if I'm charged because I don't receive receipts of my items. I wish H‑E‑B will clarify this concern of mine.

Yelp
Moldy produce time and time again. Seems without Disco Kroger this H‑E‑B doesn't have a crown to defend. Really frustrating because this location doesn't even have a business center to return things to. You'll have to stand in line and hope you don't get one of the many unfriendly (and probably underpaid) cashiers. Bought these last night.

Yelp
I visit the store when I'm in Texas and I love the in-store coupons you find all over. They are probably available through an app or online, but I love that you can just rip one off and use it then in there. It feels nostalgic for the days when there were coupon dispensers throughout stores. These are just plain yellow paper with the coupon printed on it and it looks like there's someone who makes thousands of copies and cuts them into little rectangles and punches a hole in them to get them ready to put on the shelves, lol. Have a great variety of everything you would be looking for. In particular, I was looking for some limited edition Oreo cookies and I found them there! I had looked in other stores and did not see them so I did not expect to find them there. They were not with the rest of the Oreos, they were at an end cap. Cap. If you are also looking for these limited edition cookies, check the end caps.

Yelp
Love this HEB! The team is always helpful, and everything is always clean and stocked. I wouldn't recommend the Tesla charging as there always seems to be a line, but other than that, it's great and easy!

Yelp
If you're reading this Jacob, thank you for nothing! He recommended me these "to die for" cheese sticks and the only thing that died was my appetite. DO NOT buy this bag of cheese sticks! They are not real cheese sticks and bust faster than my ex boyfriend. Do better HEB!

Yelp
I have never understood the absolute devotion shoppers have for H-E-B. in 25 years I've never been treated with respect when making an advance order from the meat market at various locations. And have been told more than a few times that the request would not be honored in the future. But my biggest pet peeve is why the pharmacy, no matter the location cannot have scripts ready when they were called in 4 days prior. The scripts aren't off the wall, actually they are quite common, but yet never ready. Today was no exception and I have to put another 40 miles on my car to pick up the rest of my medications. And the condescending attitude from all associates other than those working on the floor is obnoxious.

Yelp
A smaller HEB. But very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Parking is limited. Folks were nice. A lot of samples being offered. Chips and queso and the guacamole were good - we picked some up after tasting them.

Yelp
I shop at this store often and have been impressed by its very walkable size, parking lot (although much more crowded now these days due to curbside and musk car charging ) and its ample selection. There is one thing that I noticed today that I hope will not be a sign of things to come: **********Digital Coupons!! *************** It looks like that they now expect us to key in these items on their app just to get discounts. PLEASE!! If I want to do this to get a discount, I'd have just stayed at Kroger. Please keep it SIMPLE and let me just use your paper coupons as I always have. I don't need the extra hassle.

Yelp
I have been shopping at this store for yrs. I love everything about it. I started using the very small store on 18th and became so used to it and now go to one of the large ones but miss my little one.

Yelp
Like this store. Shop here more often than Kroger's on West Grey. But I have noticed over the years that HEB food store brands are of lower quality than Kroger's. This view was cemented this past week when I bought three HEB store brands and then threw them all away. 1. HEB flour tortillas. Not the ones they make in store. Ones in bread aisle. Supposedly cooked and ready to eat. Wrong, you had to cook them in a skillet before eating because they were so badly undercooked. 2 & 3. Shredded HEB cheese... mozzarella and monterey jack cheeses. Awful. You couldn't tell them apart and they were inedible.... not spoilt. Anyway, 2 cents. Will continue to shop here because their meat department is so much better than Kroger's.... they actually have a variety of prime beef and have Wagyu Beef... Granted it's not good cuts of Wagyu, only cheaper cuts. They're trying. Kroger's only has a single offering of overpriced Nolan Ryan's 34 prime beef, prepackaged, nothing behind the actual meat counter. And to be honest this prepackaged Nolan Ryan prime beef is a new development. Only been offered in the past two years(?). Kroger's has an awful meat department. And this is why I will continue to shop at HEB, West Alabama. However, obviously won't be buying HEB store brands in the future. If I didn't enjoy a good steak twice a week, I would ditch HEB. Called HEB national complaint line and all they wanted to do was let me know about return policy and that they would let quality control team know. They never asked me store location which might have helped narrow down providers for their 'quality control team'.... makes me doubt the sincerity of their complaint taking schtick... Hence the Yelp review.

Yelp
I come here all the time; they pretty much have everything I'm looking for, but why do they have Apple Pay machines that don't work?! I wouldn't expect this from my favorite grocery chain!! Come on...we have got to fix this! This is my favorite grocery store so i'lll be back!!

Yelp
So I always come here with that girl (BARBIE) Who wants to turn ME from a HE to a SHE It won't be FREE but she's covering the FEE And at least, says SHE, I can keep my D She's pretty insistent so I can't DISAGREE She wants all the boys to hit on ME And when I get naked, say "O M G" Before re-enacting my adult DVD The only thing I bass this on is FLEA But she's my princess, and I need to PEE Especially after an OJ or THREE From HEB for about five FIFTY The clientele here are BOURGEOISIE And they consume more pastries than the Houston PD And I hate the way the night managers act ANGRILY But we still always shop at the HEB! WHAT This place gives me the HEB-y Jeebies. But I'm gonna go aHEB and review them anyway. If I rated based on the night manager they'd get 1 star, simple. This is a nice grocery store. Probably my favourite in town. I can always find fresh kale for my fruit smoothies here. They have a nice bulk section that includes whole flax seeds, which I prefer over ground flax seeds. And they always have lots of bananas. I discovered a new tea that I like in their beverage aisle, Sweet Leaf tea. It's about 2 mins drive from where I live when I'm in Houston. My stripper friend likes to come here in her heels and get everyone looking at her. Some of the employees here have been really helpful to us, but a couple of them are not so friendly at all. The reason I'm only giving them 4 stars, when their products deserve 5, and when I really love coming here, is that every night around 11.45pm (depending on who is working) they start turning people away from the door. Then they're still ringing people up at 12.05am. I'm sorry, but I take about 3 minutes in the grocery store, and I'm quite sure head office does not want them turning customers away 15 minutes before closing. They shut the doors (as shown in the picture) and put someone on them to make sure nobody else comes in. Hopefully head office will read this review and sort it out. Hopefully nobody loses their job over it. Hopefully the store sees it before head office does, and contacts me to let me know it's fixed so I can change this review. Here's an alternate version of my bad review: Still having a love-hate relationship with this place. Because it's right next to my house and has some great juices n stuff, but at the same time they were cleaning and took all the stuff off the shelves an hour before closing, ew, and don't try and get in here with 15 minutes to closing because they will barricade the door and give you all kinds of attitude. Their employees also give a lot of inappropriate looks and gestures towards my girlfriend when she's dressed up for work - but we don't really mind that so much cuz that kind of happens everywhere and it hasn't been too explicit here yet. Still inappropriate but newsflash = humans are human. If it happens a few more times that I get told I can't come in at 11.45 (sometimes when my stripper is already inside the store and waiting for me to pick out what I need or pay for the items), I'll be contacting head office myself. So please feel FREE to come and do GROCERY It's easier than learning your ABC It's easier than counting One Two THREE It's easier than being gay in PARIS Than France being invaded by GERMANY Than Cochran declaring you're NOT GUILTY And getting the DA to accept your PLEA It's cheaper than Barbie's hourly FEE It's easier than bribing a FIFA REFEREE It's cheaper than Barbie on a SPENDING SPREE Everything on sale's more than one CALORIE It'll make you get larger, I GUARANTEE And all that OJ you SEE will make you run and PEE And if you have $$$$ you can go on ME But it'll be worth it, or my name's not BAMBI Come and get some juice at HEB WHAT

Hope H.

Yelp
A few items were missing from my pick up order. Nick went and shopped for the additional items so quickly and was extremely apologetic. Amazing customer service shoutout to Nick!

Yelp
Grocery store in Houston. Wide variety of products make this place both interesting and educational. Pricing is excellent. This privately owned. The purchases I made were less costly then my regular places to shop. Store was busy with large parking lot and courteous employees. Check it out.

Yelp
I love the idea of Curbside. But, why does it seem that H‑E‑B gives their garbage produce to the Curbside customers? Because that is what I get, consistently, when I order Curbside. It's certainly not consistent with what I have come to know and expect from H‑E‑B.

Gabby H.

Yelp
So to the employee working the self checkout line who bought me a croissant sandwich is the real MVP I came to this H-E-B in a hurry to charge my Tesla. I only had about 8%. I start charging my car and I run inside because I am starving, I get to check out and was unable to use Apple Pay (recently lost my debt card) so Juan bought my sandwich for me and for this, I am extremely thankful. Thank you Juan!!!

Yelp
Here is a hidden H.E.B.I stopped by here.I checked Asian groceries. I found Japanese green tea and some of the sushi vinegar.H.E.B are always concerned about our safety.I used the hand sanitizer station twice. Thanks.

Yelp
Nice HEB use their pharmacy which is OK just because you can get the medicine. Staff and pharmacist Shannon is not really competent and Does not explain very well about how they use certain good RX plans sometimes and other times don't I am a self-pay patient and will be looking for a new pharmacy because Shannon talks to you while looking down and the other front person isn't very knowledgeable. It seems to me and by the way I'm in the healthcare field for over 10 years, so I can no good service cause I provide good service to my patience and when I want to be an ass which is very very rare, I do with Shannon does and don't look at the patient.

Yelp
H‑E‑B W Alabama. Fix your inventory issue, your employee attitude and figure out how to have your personal shoppers be more aware of the shoppers that are in person shopping. Those stupid cages are in the way ALL THE TIME. Most importantly fix your inventory issue. You put ALL the other grocery stores in the neighborhood out of business but you can't keep up with the pace of the neighborhood!

Yelp
Best heb ever in my opinion. They have all things I need with specially curated and organic items decently priced. Def my grocery store

Yelp
I love HEB for groceries. They have a huge selection of foods and I have found specialty ingredients to make Korean, Japanese, Thai, and Mexican dishes. They have a great representation of local brands for beers and ciders which I love! The price range is affordable especially with the Hill Country name brands items. But they have a range of more expensive and nicer ingredients if you do want to splurge. They have a lot of delicious and creative marinated meats. Lately have not been that happy with the selection of steaks as we keep getting chewy cuts. But the marinated beef fajitas are always great and we never have that problem with those. The deli is awesome as well and they have so many options for freshly sliced deli meats. Curbside pickup is a life saver and something I will continue way past the pandemic. Saves so much time! You pick everything online and place and pay for your order. You can add to your order for some time after placing it if you forget stuff. They send you a reminder text 30 min before your pick up and text you if they were out of any of your items and had to make substitutions. The shoppers are always super friendly. This location specifically has a lot of sort of last minute spots (like 6 hours before or slots for the next morning) available which I love!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite HEBs in Houston! 1) The ready made meal section is one of the most extensive, and the food actually tastes GOOD. There's a huge selection of "take and bake" as well as "reheat and eat"...my favorite reheat/eat ones are the spaghetti bolognese and the garlic/mushroom pasta. So great for eating something more homemade when you're busy. 2) The produce is consistently fresh, in season, in stock, with a huge variety. I can find almost everything I ever need at this HEB. 3) It is a smaller HEB than some others, and the parking can be really rough during peak times (4-7pm or on weekends) but I put up with it because the store itself is otherwise really great.

Yelp
This HEB was my heb for over 5 years. Unfortunately I was assaulted in the dairy section by a random man grabbing me; a year ago and just want to urge women to be careful here. Watch your purses on your carts and never be too trusting. 80% of the cameras don't work in the store only the front cameras. The others are fake. Also, they did hire a security car to drive around now and that makes me happy. But i recently went to this location and I still find myself looking at all the weirdos and homeless people that come into this store. I think the staff is incredibly rude. I asked them to double bag something heavy and the bagger said "are you serious"? I just haven't had the best luck at this HEB. Wouldn't recommend it!
google avatar

Vinh N.

Yelp
My default grocery store. About the only weakness is that they don't have some of the ethnic items I like to buy that I would have to run to a Fiesta for. There's a lot of square footage devoted to the lazy cook with ready to prepare meals and non-frozen dinners. Given the amount of students in this area, this is understandable. Their prices are competitive overall with others in the area and they have a large produce section where I spend most of my time. People have complained about parking for the store, but it just shows you how popular it is. I've never had a problem finding a spot even if it is in the back of the lot. A closer HEB is opening up soon so I'm going to miss this spot.

Yelp
I love H‑E‑B in general but as far as H‑E‑B's go this one is awkwardly organized, with a difficult parking lot (not enough spaces, too much landscaping) and not enough employees. It took forever to find what I needed since it was organized in a different way than other H‑E‑Bs and there wasn't anyone to ask for directions.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
We just came to H‑E‑B and had a bad experience checking out because of Amanda at the self check out area. The first time we needed assistance someone came and helped us and she was kind. The second time was a woman named Amanda and from the moment she came to help she was rude. We we're trying to tell her what we needed and she told us to get out of the way so she could get through. As a customer service representative for H‑E‑B, she should have shown more kindness and said excuse me or something. After we finished checking out, we we're gathering our bags and she told us to hurry up and get out of the way again. I have gone to so many HEB locations and have never experienced a bad attitude from anyone.

Yelp
My frequent shopping here has been pleasant and for the most part they had all the items I look for in stock. The most regrettable thing about this location is filled with potential burglars that break into cars. I had been victim around October of 2020 and my truck got broken into in broad day light. It was unbelievable that they had the gumption to try their nefarious deeds in the light for onlookers to catch them. You guess that they had been caught in the act but I was unfortunately targeted for I had a vague recollection of the surroundings and I believe a four door sedan either a Honda Accord or a Toyota Camry with very dark tints was parked at my passenger side area. They took my laptop, IDs and all the gadgets that hook up to my laptop. No off duty cops were there and I usually see them whenever I stop at this location. It seems they had acquired a schedule when law enforcers are not present. These burglars are always looking for repeat business. I had pulled up at this location in January of 2022 early in the morning where I parked my vehicle nearly exactly where the location of the burglary had occurred. The parking lot was empty for the most part. I was in my vehicle waiting for the store to open and look who pulls up next to me. Out of all the spots to pick in the parking lot he chose the most inconvenient in regards to walking distance right next my truck. And I noticed another car behind my truck with it's headlights on parked adjacent to the parked row of where I was parked. I didn't catch the make but that person was in their vehicle and the store had opened at that point and I didn't see either individuals stepping out of their car. So, I waited a few minutes and after 5 minutes had gone by these two individual cars and their drivers had never stepped out of their vehicles. I took video footage and here is a still shot of the vehicle suspiciously parked next to me. Be aware of your surroundings and don't let them get away with your belongings for I had my whole life in that laptop.

Yelp
This store is amaaaaazing! It's gigantic and if it doesn't have what you need, then you don't need it haha! It rivals King Soopers in Colorado, and Hy-Vee in the midwest for size and selection- very high praise. We were on vacation in Houston and went in here to get some local goodies to take home as souvenirs- we were not disappointed. We found Texas coffee beans, tea, wine, snacks, candles, bath & body products. The wine selection is incredible. A clerk named Nancy helped us find the perfect one to bring home. She was so knowledgeable and fun to talk to.

Yelp
****^UPDATE -COVID-19 Response Today, I asked an employee whether they got health checked when they came in to work. Her response was "no, if we don't feel good, else just don't come in". VERY Trusting RESPONSE give that H-E-B has increased pay. As the checker THEN SNEEZED into her arm saying "ewww" upon completion, the sacker then snipped, "That's why we have the glass shield" as she sacks hundreds of items touched by dozens of people per shift. Please inform staff a) don't be rude, b) don't then display what could be signs of illness after telling someone all stay home if they don't feel good. Horribly disorganised when it comes to crawfish boiling and sales. Waited for 1/2 AFTER he said they would be ready. If you want crawfish, be prepared to wait. They need a set time to open, not 12:40 or 1

Yelp
Great store but went to pay with my samsung wallet and they do not except smartpay yet wasnt able to buy my groceries, went to whole foods instead.

Yelp
This is overall a good H-E-B, but gets super busy on the weekends! I try and go on a weekday morning to avoid the crowd and be able to find parking that isn't on the perimeter of the lot! Also if you go on the weekend I have found that they are sometimes out of the item that I am looking for. The store is usually very clean and employees at the deli/check out are always nice and fast! The exterior is also prettier than other HEB's which is also nice :)

Yelp
Despite the fact that I like H-E-B a lot, I have to give it an extra crappy review because of the ongoing problem with their carts. You see, about a year ago, they had installed on their carts the anti-theft devices on the front left wheel. In case someone tries to take it out of the parking lot, a lock is triggered and the wheel becomes immobile. Now, this is supposed to happen if the cart is taken out of the parking lot, and not while IN the parking lot. Unfortunately, for the fourth time in three months, I have the unpleasant experience of it locking up in the parking lot. Filled with my groceries. And then I have to drag the cart to my car. It is not easy. I can only imagine someone elderly dealing with this. I have bruised my legs a few times as when the cart stops unexpectedly, as your momentum carries you right into the back of it. A lawsuit waiting to happen, I imagine. Now, I have called the home office multiple times, called the the local store, and have gone back into the store and talked to a manager. They all seem to know it's a problem. And they all seem clueless of what is going on and how to fix it. I get nods and "yeah, that's a problem." Thanks for confirming that you are doing nothing. COME ON. FIX THE DARN PROBLEM. It's been going on for a year. Just replace every wheel unit you can count on the technology. DO SOMETHING. Focus on the customer. Idiots. I used to love H-E-B, but now it is a disappointment. Kroger's is looking better. Yeah, H-E-B, i guess that's a problem.

Yelp
This HEB location is really nice! The exterior architecture and interior layout is a notch above other HEB stores. The selection is excellent, and the service is friendly. One complaint I have (which is true for other HEB locations, as well) is the awful odor in the produce department, due to the water that builds up and breeds mildew in those rugs. Parking can be a challenge due to the sheer number of people that shop here. And yet, even though it's further away then Randall's, I will definitely drive the extra mile to shop here instead.

Yelp
Great deals, fresh groceries and always a good price. Location is close to home and the parking is plentiful, lines always move quickly and no issues with items being out of stock. This is always my go to store for drinks, snacks and personal care items. I like the selection of items and samples the store provides on a daily basis.

Yelp
I like going to this HEB. They have a wide selection of stuff even with the organic section. I like how it's clean and it just gives me the good feeling of going there to do my groceries. I also like the crowd because they're nice and respectful. Overall, I'll definitely come to this HEB while I live in this area.

Yelp
Wish I could give it a negative star. I know we are under stress but that is no reason to ignore and be rude to a customer. I came to this HEB because there website shows beef liver at this location. So I go to the meat dept ask the butchers if they have beef liver. One had no idea. The other was irritated because I ask for beef liver and said so u see it ? Wtf I'll spend my money at another place. Rude ass

Yelp
I used to LOVE this HEB and would happily drive 20 minutes each way every week to shop here. The small carts were perfect for my single person household, and I even appreciate the plentiful medium carts now. It still has a place in my heart, but lately I've run into one major issue - the bagging is terrible now! I'm not sure if it's because they now have to deal with paper, plastic, and reusable bags. Regardless, they frequently overload any bag I try to use, to the point that the paper bag handles rip before I make it to the exit. When I use a reusable insulated bag, they put only pantry/dry goods in there and put all the refrigerated items in a regular bag - why??? I have to step outside the store and re-bag all my items almost every time I visit. I also had a really bad experience with their grocery delivery service. The driver didn't realize (?) she had to press the up button to call the elevator in my building and took her frustration out on me. I'm hoping the new location on Shepherd manages to avoid some of these issues.

Yelp
I absolutely love this store. It's huge and clean. They offer samples of so many different foods and beverages. We happen to go on a day where there was over a half a dozen wine merchants sampling their Product. Their cocktail section had great ingredients. The prices are good. The quality is excellent. And the food samples are generous. I wish they had these in my hometown. I would shop there all the time.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE From the organization of the items to the friendly faces! The Cooking Connection is always cooking up something delicous for me to try and channel my inner chef to attempt to make at home lol. Im here at LEAST 4 times a week and I dont regret my many trips. HOWEVER on the weekends the parking can literally drive you NUTS! The parking on the weekends is pretty similar to the Galleria, just be sure to bring your patience with you.

Yelp
I love this h‑e‑b everything is neat and clean however an employee by the name of Susan deliberately cut between me and the person who was shopping along side of me. I thought she was very rude and didn't even say excuse me and didn't even acknowledge her rudeness to a paying customer in the store.

Yelp
This is one of the worst HEB stores that I've shopped at in Houston, Katy, Pearland, Pasadena, and the surrounding Houston area. I tend come here early in the mornings before my day gets started. But now, I will make sure I take care of any grocery shopping somewhere else. The employees are inhospitable, they are not professional, and definitely not courteous. Even this morning, there was no flushable wipes anywhere on the aisle for the toilet paper - gotta have that! I had to go to the Kroger on Montrose to complete my shopping. Total one star....

Yelp
I love this HEB!! The produce is very fresh and I like the layout. Everything is easily accessible and the employees are kind. The bread and bakery department never fails!!! Would recommend this h-e-b to anyone around!

Yelp
It's pretty, but it's just ok. I hadn't planned to come to this much hyped HEB because I don't live near here, but I happened to be going to a picnic nearby and needed some food. We spent some time in the store and there were tons of employees around, but many of them were just chatting with each other and I had to interrupt them to ask questions. Ok, so there were some helpful employees. I was on the hunt for pita bread and hummus. I ended up getting two different types of pita bread, but when I went to open them, one appeared to have no seal on it and possibly had been opened before and both were wet inside like the pita bread was put in before it cooled. This made for some soggy bread. ugh. I think there should be a clear exit from the cafe to the outdoor seating. You have to walk all the way back to the main exit and then go to the outdoor seating. They could have put a direct exit there with a cashier at the door. It's awkward. I did like the exterior architecture and natural light in the store. I'm glad they kept so many of the trees and made some benches of others outside, but overall, this is just another busy grocery store with limited parking.

Yelp
This is my favorite grocery store in Houston. I kind of feel bad that the Fiesta across the street closed down after this HEB opened but I am so glad they opened an HEB! I have been trying to eat healthier so I love making a fruit salad with blueberries, strawberry halves, raspberries, and blackberries. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and during the Summer, I loved putting peaches and nectarines in brown paper bags and eating them 3 days later. They were so sweet, fresh, and juicy! The Boathouse Farm juices here are great as well. My favorite salads are the Dole Spinach Salad, Dole Asian Island Salad, And Dole Ultimate Ceasar Salad. I don't cook very often so I buy a lot of Tasty Soups and Canned Corn. Noosa Yogurt is the best yogurt I have ever tasted! I ate it too often though and now I am sick of it but I would definitely recommend it if you have never tried it before! The rhubarb one is my favorite. You should also try HEB's Love Dip if you haven't already. I go to this grocery store often and it's comforting to know where everything is located.

Yelp
Dear HEB: when a customer slices their hand on a poorly made canned product, and asks for help from an associate, I'd prefer about 30 seconds of priority. To make me wait, when you can see blood all over my hands, while you finish with the other customer, ask what else we can do for them, then reluctantly get a band aid is bad service. Bad. The one girl I found to help did try, but the customer service desk was dangerously unhelpful. I really don't ask for special consideration often, and when I do it's necessary. And when a customer asks for a band aid, they're not necessarily looking to purchase them to help ourselves. When I'm bleeding in your store i don't need directions to the band aids, I'd like one from your first aid kit. Also, try to disinfect it too. thanks for the reluctant band aid after getting hurt on your hill country fare product. I'll deal with the rest myself.

Yelp
Hot hot hot!!!! There is a seasoning that comes to $0.62 after the yellow coupon. I get to the register and the cashier shows me the coupons were mixed between two different products in the same ring, but next to the item I purchased. I paid regular price for 3 out of the 5 items. I was pissed! You don't need to use deceitful marketing tactics to get extra money from consumers. This is not the first time in the past two weeks. It happened last week when purchasing cough drops. Same brand, but coupon in front differ from the coupons in the middle and end of the stack The surprising part is that the cashier was not shocked or surprise, she shook her head yes, and said it's done all the time. What I don't like is for a company to use a bait and switch tactic to steal money from me. I have a serious problem with thar because you want for me to come in and take from you, so why steal from the consumers who keep you in business.

Yelp
It's a great HEB, but I wish the baggers would take more care. Tossing items in the cart and why would they put produce on the bottom I've everything else!?!? I wonder if I can request to bag my own items.
