"Inside this Korean superstore, widely held to be London’s best, are all the ingredients for a memorable post-canvassing dinner: rice, kimchi, porridges, fresh seafood, teas, pickles and so much more. Not strictly a restaurant, but packed with restaurant-quality items." - Emma Hughes, Jonathan Nunn, Johanna Derry, James Hansen

SerpAPI
Huge hypermart for not only Korean food, but also Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and even Thai food with almost most reasonable price in London. Household products imported from Korea is also cheap, which rarely found in other local household store. We always get more than what we expected everytime!

Massive supermarket with a wide selection of different Asian ingredients, fresh fruit and vegetables and snacks etc. I went here on a whim because I fancied Soju and ended up running down each aisle stunned by all the variety they had. Quite expensive compared to other Asian supermarkets I have been to, however the location and sheer size of the supermarket outweighs that.

I used to go to H Mart often when I was in Canada, and I love that there is H Mart here in London too. Not only are they well stocked with a variety of daily necessities from Korea, but you can easily get food ingredients from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong!

A place where you can experience and purchase a variety of Korean products, such as various Korean foods, household items, and electronic devices. A place that captures the hearts of locals with K-Drama craze and posters of K-pop stars. A place where you can easily buy simple Korean food such as fresh kimbap~ A place where you can receive products purchased through online shopping through delivery service Be sure to visit! I am not responsible for overflowing market baskets. I bought vermicelli to make japchae(Korean cuisine).

Everything is nice there just cant drink my tea from this lovely tea I bought from h mart. They really need to assess the quality of this tea pot as the handle gets really hot and i cant even hold it after pouring hot water. I guess its great for display.

Amazing shop with huge selection of Korean and other Eastern food. Fresh fish counter and many other things. Reasonable prices. Parking can be tricky at weekends as the place gets packed.

SerpAPI
Best Korean supermarket in the whole of Europe so far. Came here a little late and felt rushed because they were gonna close... they came up to me muliple times even tho i was less than 5 minutes over time. But other than that i'm happy with the products just a little sad because i couldnt buy some more things

Exceptional variety of products from Asia. Fresh seafood and meats are good quality and well stocked. Fresh vegetables are also abundant. Fresh noodles sell out quickly. Frozen food aisle is huge and you can get ingredients for every type of Asian cuisine you need. Koran, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai. Fresh salmon for sushi is also a real treat for the family. Prices are reasonable although speciality products are at expected cost given the rarity value. A required market stop for all those looking for ingredients for Various Asian cuisines. Parking is plentiful although weekends can be busy - turn right to park if you can’t find a space left.

Yelp
I am beyond grateful that they have H Mart in London! Being from Hawaii I absolutely have to have my asian foods! Although this location is a little of a trek for me it is completely worth it. I just wish they had ALL the Melona ice cream flavors like coconut and mango, but they have everything else so I'll take it!! Can you guys stock Rose Tteokbokki please and thank you!!!

Yelp
I've been to a few Asian supermarkets across London, and this is my favourite! - HUGE selection, literally anything you want from any country in Asia - Pricing is competitive (not the cheapest, but also not a premium) - Fresh fish counter is the best I've ever seen in an Asian supermarket - Plenty of free parking - Checkout is quick and easy

Yelp
I had one of the worst experiences in my life in this shop. My car was smashed in their property and I lost my belongings which was worth over 3000GBP. I contacted them after the incident but they never helped me even they did not apologise. I have tried to speak to a manager or a business owner but they never turned up for a month. It was a few weeks ago when I sent the following email, but clearly they ignored. Just avoid this horrible shop and just go to Wing Yip in Croydon. Their selection is much better and you will have a better and friendly service in the Chinese shop. Dear Company owner, I am not sure if you are aware but my car was smashed and my belongings were stolen in your property (New Malden shop) on 29th November. So far no one who is responsible for such issue from your company has turned up and has apologised to me. I do not understand why it is so difficult for you to say just sorry. Even children can say that. When the incident happened at around 8.00pm on that day, Ms Dahee and a person who was sorting carts were there. Mr Dahee said no point to call police as they would not come and the incident was 2nd one in that week. She added the best is just to go home and to speak to a manager next day, and she promised the manager will call me between 8.30 am and 9.00 am in the following day. On 30th, no one called me in the morning, and so I ringed Ms Dahee. She said someone is investigating the issue and asked me to wait until someone will come back me soon. I waited but no once contacted me and so I visited the office in the afternoon. Mr JD Kim from IT showed me the video in CCTV that captured a thief on the moped but it was difficult to identify his face and registration number as your system is outdated. Mr Kim said he will download the video and pass it on to me and police which never happened. In the following week, I made a phone call to the office and spoke to Ms Yoon. She said your company would like to consider the compensation and promised the manager or someone who is in charge will call me in the following day or soon. Again no one phoned me and so I ringed to speak to Yoon. However Mr Kim answered my phone and said "what do you want?". Of course I would like to hear "We are sorry what happened to you." I think your people do not know how to say sorry. From this terrible incident, I lost my bag that included valuable things such as: PC 1500GBP Mobile 1000GBP Cash 150GBP Electric tooth brush 250GBP (top range from Phillips) Bag 100GBP Power adapter 30GBP Others 100GBP I deeply reglet that I went to your shop as If I did not go I would be perfectly safe. I would like you to ask you to apologise first and then please consider the compensation.

Yelp
If you want a dose of Korea and to feel like you've travelled to East Asia, go to Hmart for some groceries. I love the wide variety of items you can buy, from fresh food to noodles to toiletries! The fresh food to eat is quite special but I really love the kimbap, rice and veg/meat wrapped in seaweed and seasoned to addictive perfection. The snack aisle is my fav. Try some honey butter snacks which is a very popular flavour atm - sweet and buttery, what's not to like? And spicy ramen - I'm always stocking up :)

Yelp
As an expat from the States, I was wildly surprised to find an H-Mart in London. Wildly surprised but pleasantly relieved - I mean, where else can I buy good quality udon, kim chee, noodle mixes, frozen dumplings, super thin sliced beef/pork for hotpot and fresh shiitake for a good price? I know Japan Centre has similar quality but the price point is not always right. Chinatown is good for some things (fresh veggies, fresh rice noodle rolls, ramen, etc.) but it's hard to beat the selection at H-Mart. There is good lighting and sufficient aisle space so carts going in opposite directions don't have to awkwardly back out of the aisle so the opposing cart can go first (kind of like the naughty London roads!) - in most grocery stores in Chinatown, you are elbow to elbow with someone else trying to get a damn jar of Hoisin sauce in your overflowing basket. Customer service is lacking, especially when something is out of stock and no one in the store seems to know what is going on or when they will get more. Aside from the cashiers, most people working the floor do not speak English very well. The employees are mainly Korean and Chinese. However, most items are translated to English on labels and signage. I will continue to shop here for quality groceries and I hope they open more locations so that it is easily assessable to more people in London.

Yelp
Man, I found a new happy place in London. I was so happy to discover Korea Foods but this is something else as it truly reminds me of home. I remember when H Mart just started out in Flushing and now it's this mega supermarket chain and couldn't believe there is one in New Malden. There's definitely a better selection of groceries - even the really random stuff like kitchen sponges and stuff. It's a bit out of the way if you're taking the train but definitely go if you have a car.

Yelp
I try and go to H Mart at least once a month as it feels a bit like making a flying visit to Korea. This supermarket is always extremely well stocked with everything - a very impressive and glistening fruit and vegetable section, lots of very alive fish bobbing along in their tanks, so many packets of frozen dumplings, row upon row of snacks and biscuits, the biggest vats of Kimchi I have ever seen and even some aisles for homeware and stationary. It also has a good selection of Japanese ingredients so I usually come away with a bottle of kewpie mayonnaise, some curry mix and plum wine. One of my favourite bits thought is the freshly cooked Korean food section to take away. Last week I came home with a tray of chap chae noodles for £1.16 and it's was an absolute delight and such a bargain. Life in H Mart is pretty great!
