Google
Overpriced meat. However a huge and good selection of produce. The greens here are dirty, so id definitely give it a good wash when you get home. A lot of mislabeled items. Only one way entrance and exit. Pretty inefficient.

Google
This HMart is amazing with many great selections of Asian stuff, great service, and decent Korean food in their restaurant. The restaurant inside serves hot meats, salads, and classic appetizers. We ordered a bibimbap which tasted authentic with a big size and good price. It was enough for two people. Besides, there are always good deals and many interesting beverages or snacks. Their seafood and fruits are always fresh with various kinds.

Google
HMart in San Diego has a great selection of Asian food, including fresh produce, pantry staples, and lots of prepared foods to choose from. I especially enjoy their Korean dessert rice cakes. The variety and quality make it worth visiting if you’re looking for authentic Asian ingredients or ready-to-eat meals. Highly recommend!

Joseph “Jae” F.

Google
Pretty much has almost anything you can want from an Asian grocery store. It's typically my go to spot when I want anything asian inspired. Their meat and seafood are fairly priced as are their snacks. My daughter and I come every 2 weeks just for snacks alone (we life about 15 miles away and H Mart is in a direction we rarely travel to).

Brian C.

Google
Nice decorated inside clean, attractive with very organized rows. Similar products and set up like the other H mart. But a bonus is the own food court. I love this place. If you haven’t gone, do yourself a favor and go now.

Google
Please check the quality of the baked sweet potatoes, thank you. The sweet potatoes I bought this time were not selected, and they were hard and tasted like boiled. I will buy them again in the future, but I will be very careful in choosing them. Also, please clean the cakes in the refrigerator a little. You can see a lot of dirt in the cake boxes from the outside. Every time I go to choose the cakes I like, I see that some cakes are very dirty. Please make me feel at ease, thank you!

Google
Seafood selection is great, meat selection is great, veggie selection is great. Some of the stuff is a little pricey, but were in tough times so I get it. I was curious about the tea selection and it was quite robust and did not disappoint. Parking is pretty good during weekdays, I can't speak to weekends as that area can get pretty busy. Overall it's got ALOT of selection, it's solid.

Google
Cute little grocery store has everything we where looking for including a few surprises. Cute korean photos booth with props, and even ethnic Korean food court! Yum!!!!

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean grocery stores. I'm glad they have one here in Miramesa. I regularly go to the one in Claremont. Even though the store isn't big, it has all the basics that you would need for your Asian grocery cravings. They have fresh fish, vegetables, meats, and more. Be sure to sign up for their H Mart reward program. I love how this is convenient right off the 15 freeway.

Yelp
I don't even remember what store was at this location when I was first in the Mira Mesa area over ten years ago, but the H Mart has certainly made it an extremely busy shopping center! I always pick up a kimbap and some red bean pastry from the Paris Baguette bakery located inside. It's also a great place to pick up some Japanese grocery that I may be running out of and don't want to make the longer drive out to Kearny Mesa. I always see a lot of meat going through the check out line, and I imagine the customers having a BBQ party that evening with some Soju. Fun! My husband doesn't understand the hype. He thinks everything is overpriced here, but I enjoy the experience and purchase what makes sense economically. The parking situation could get really busy, just like any other Asian markets I have been to. It's sometimes impossible to park, especially around dinner time. It's in the same shopping center as In-N-Out, and that side could get very busy too. Overall, I'm happy the H Mart opened here, and my brothers enjoy stopping here as well when they visit.

Yelp
One of my all-time favorite grocery stores. The produce section is always overflowing with fresh fruits and veggies everything looks like it was just picked that morning. But what really keeps me coming back is their incredible seafood selection. It's huge, and always super fresh. When it comes to pork, this is the only place I shop. They butcher it the right way exactly how I like to cook it at home. I can't get cuts like that anywhere else nearby. And the sauces? Don't even get me started. There are packed with every Asian sauce you could dream of stuff I didn't even know existed. It's like a playground for foodies. And just when I think I've made it out with only what I came for... I hit the bakery by the exit. Game over. Everything looks amazing, smells even better, and somehow I always end up with a pastry or two in my bag. Zero regrets. This place is clean, well-organized, and actually fun to shop in which is saying a lot for a grocery store. If you haven't been, you're missing out. Just go hungry. Trust me.

Yelp
My go to when in need of lots of Asian goodies! Stopped in today for seaweed, radish kimchi, sushi ginger, cabbage kimchi, rice crackers and some nice ramen. Service is pretty standard. It's a nicely laid out store and quite large. Incredible selections.....for vegetables of every kind....ramen, meats, condiments....they literally have it all. They have an area with sweets too. Very well done! If you aren't familiar I highly suggest you visit them. Parking lot is very big but super busy.

Yelp
H Mart is my go-to market when I want fresh Asian fruits and veggies. They always have a large selection of what I need and have never disappointed. When I'm too busy or lazy to marinate my own meats, there's a section of the store that sells marinated chicken, pork, and beef that's perfect for throwing on the grill or skillet. They also have a food counter that sells hot food by the pound. There's an assortment of noodles, veggies, and protein, all $10.99/lb. Too lazy to scoop up food into a container? Well you're in luck because they come pre-packed as well! They also sell a wide variety of rolls. There's a Paris Baguette bakery inside the store too, how convenient! Be sure to sign up for free membership and start accumulating points for cash back rewards! If you like to collect tote bags, they have a cute collection of bags representing the various US states. Hello Kitty lovers, you'll want to come here. They have HK instant noodles, napkins, tissues, toilet paper, snacks, candy, beverages, food containers, high quality thermos, etc.

Yelp
Clean, organized beautiful store, so many choices from fresh, frozen, packaged and already prepared foods and meals. A wide selection of fresh produce, meats, seafood, pantry staples, snacks, and household items, with a particular focus on Asian-inspired products. I purchased a few items I would not find at my own local grocery store and am quite pleased with the quality. I also picked up some already prepared foods, so fresh, flavorful and delicious. I want to take some home with me. The fresh cut sushi looked amazing, if my drive back home wasn't so far, I would bring it home. The cashier was so helpful and kind. I will definitely return when I am back in town.

Yelp
H Mart @ MIRA MESA The best spot for asian foods, I really enjoy the freshness here and everything they have to offer. There are also small stores inside of the mart, like bakeries and restaurants! Service is good, they have people to check out items for you easily. It wasn't super busy on a random Tuesday, so my friend and I got our items fast. Parking was free and right outside the spot. I bought raspberries for $6, and it was completely moldy by the next day. Pretty bummed out but I hope they check their quality for food more.

Yelp
A fresh experience at Hmart Mira Mesa that I bumped it up to 4 stars!! I was pleasantly surprised by the updates at Hmart in Mira Mesa! The brand spanking new carts (see pics) and interior renovations make a noticeable difference, and the store felt cleaner, more organized, and inviting. Customer service was also friendly, adding to the overall positive shopping experience. The produce was in great condition this time around, and the weekly deals are worth checking out! I scored kabocha squash for just $0.33/lb, a case of mangoes, dragon fruit, huge pomelos, and blueberries all at unbeatable prices. While my shopping experience tends to vary depending on seasonal produce availability, Hmart consistently offers significant savings on fruits and vegetables. It beats out all the chain grocery stores in my opinion. Parking is plentiful, but I recommend avoiding peak hours and weekends to skip the crowds and horrible drivers. IYKYK! Overall, it's a great spot for quality produce and budget-friendly deals! I always make it a weekly stop!

Yelp
H-Mart is a quintessential Asian Market that carries a variety of products and brands throughout the spectrum of Asian cuisine. Great fresh produce, with occasional roasted sweet potatoes is available. As well as dry goods, canned goods and frozen goods will delight you. Fresh seafood, meat products as well as Korean Marinated Meats can help you plan a sumptuous feast. Service is just lovely and friendly and helpful. This is a great place to find the unique items that you need for an Asian meal!!! Prepackaged food/meals and a buffet is also available. This is our family's go to place for Asian food shopping and for snacks!!! Sign up for the H-Mart rewards program to earn points for future free products!!! An app is available for ease of shopping and earning.

Yelp
Overpriced, Overpriced. Overpriced. The meat and seafood is fresh and the quality is good, but it's outrageous in price. They have mainly korean stuff and little Chinese or Vietnamese things. Their hot pot stuff is expensive and their bbq grilling stuff like marinated meat is very expensive. However, some of their veggies are insanely cheap. Ill go there bc they have some phenomenal deals on veggies and kimchi. Their hot food deli is overpriced. They charge by weight, so don't waste your items on veggies or rice. Get the meat! More worth your money! There is a bakery inside this place but I don't buy from there bc the cakes and sweets don't taste very good and it's not appealing. This hmart is generally clean and organized. I just wouldn't shop here bc it's very expensive.

Yelp
I have notice this store only have korea people working in front like cashiers. I try to ask a question to one off the stockers and they did not speak English. then I proceed to ask one off the workers in produce department same thing.i think I put them on trouble cause I heart a man that look like a supervisor say to them to "hurry up and to not get distracted! "... i thought customer was first ..... but I was in a hurry at the moment and then thought in this stores only Korea people can loose time with customers. so next time you go to h mart don't distract the hard working people in the back departments like meat, produce, grocery ,fish,or kitchen.

Yelp
We ventured to the store approximately once a week if you like the Asian experience different kind of foods fish market. It just offers so much different stuff from another country and we pick up something to try every time give it a try.

Yelp
I love Hmart and generally go there for all my shopping. I just wasn't pleased with the packing of this product. I bought 3 packs and they all looked good on the outside, but when I started unpacking them, majority of the perilla leaves looked like they had been chewed up. I probably scavenged 5 complete leaves from a bag of 2. Please be more mindful!!

W. L.

Yelp
Great selection of asian products. We purchased a roll but it didn't tasted fresh and caused the stomach to feel funny afterwards. I didn't see it really that much different than Ranch99 or other asian groceries but they had lots of ramen snacks.

Maria M.

Yelp
visited 4:30pm yesterday and I couldn't find basil. No one in produce, I find a lady in fish area and asked how to get someone in produce to help me. She responded "I only do fish". I walk to front of store and see "customer service" where there is a man and a woman. I ask the man for produce help he responds " everyone leaves at 4pm so no one is here". I said to him " so no one can help, not even you that are customer service" he responded "no one here"! the woman with him said "I can help you in a bit" which she did. That man needs to be removed from "customer service"!!

Yelp
This location right in the plaza next to other spots we were visiting is huge. The one back home doesn't seem to have the same amount of things or space. We grabbed a bunch of snacks for the telly, they definitely have more items on the west coast that hasn't hit the eastern stores yet. I ended up with about 25# of things in a bag that i carried for the next 6 hours lol. Should have hit Hmart last thinking about it later and having both my hands red and aching haha.
google avatar

Lizzie Y.

Yelp
Stopped by to pick up some snacks. This HMart is a good size and pretty clean. We're from the East Coast and there were a couple items that we have not seen before yet, but excited to try! We got some new chips to try, as well as soy milk & chrysanthemum tea. They have a large selection of ramen, snacks, and Asian-flavored ice creams. Staff was super nice and helpful. Would definitely come here again if ever around in the area!
google avatar

Alice J.

Yelp
I had poor customer service and overall rudeness from the employees working here. I know my review is just another review in a sea of bad reviews complaining of the poor customer service here. I highly doubt anything will change because they just don't care. With so many other options available, I guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
After hearing my fiancé rave about this store for years we finally went to grab a few things. I will say the produce at this spot is probably the largest variety of produce I have ever seen! I was so amazed by all of the different produce that I have never really seen at other stores, I could have spent hours just exploring it all. There is also a large fresh seafood counter area and I will definitely come and get some filets when I am wanting to cook a fresh fish dish. I will say when you first walk in you do get hit with that smell of fish which took a minute to get use to. Also the variety of ramen is INSANE! If you are searching for those tik tok ramens people are making go here. You can buy big packs of them or single ones to try.
google avatar

Amy M.

Yelp
Stopped by here with my little one for some snacks while we are visiting Grandma and Grandpa, and she loves all the cool snacks in Asian Markets. I also needed some Kopiko instant coffee for those mornings when even starting the coffee pot is too hard. They have so many wonderful snacks and things to try. It is very easy to fill up an entire shopping cart with snacks while you are here. I was tempted to try some of the many other instant coffee packs but ultimately just stuck with the one I know is good. They have a ton of produce options and the dairy case is pretty legit. We did not need produce, but we ended up with a couple of flavored yogurt drinks and some cream stuffed waffles and some fluffy cakes. They have some of our favorite soft muffins too (yum, brown sugar or coffee soft muffins!) We bought fortune cookies, tons of different drinks, crackers, cookies, and so many other things to snack on while in SD. The snack game is strong at this store.

Yelp
I'm from the Bay Area so I wasn't used to how big this H Mart was! Spacious, clean, and had so much to choose from! My husband and I stopped by an hour before closing on our way down to Chula Vista. We normally grab groceries whenever we stay at an Airbnb, and H Mart is our go-to for kitchen essentials on a trip. This location is massive compared to the local ones in my area. We were able to score discounted japchae, dumplings, and cheese corndogs from the prepared food section. As for groceries, we picked up frozen kimbap in three flavors (but I only ended trying the tuna one which was pretty good 3.5/5), a dozen eggs, plus some instant ramen and a couple snacks. Also, grabbed a few packs of microwaveable rice. As far as prices go, they're pretty much the same as my local H Marts. My husband and I were quite impressed with the selection of produce and frozen goods available. If we hadn't come before closing, we definitely could have spent another couple hours looking at everything in the store. As always, we had a super easy and friendly checkout, and were very happy with everything we purchased! Will definitely be doing our grocery shopping here whenever we're visiting San Diego!
google avatar

Rose K.

Yelp
The state of the bathroom tells me the cleanliness of this grocery store at that is frightening. Pee everywhere. This is not the first time I've seen this. Has the health department checked this place?
google avatar

Jane A.

Yelp
HMART Mira Mesa vs. HMART Convoy (4.5 stars) I've went back and forth debating because for awhile I thought they were equally liked because they each offered different things the other lacked. For example, HMart Convoy DOES have better kbbq meat selection (fresh and frozen). I give them that! However HMart Mira Mesa has larger and live seafood section. So technical, I still shop at both but my preferred store is this one! It's becoming the favored one. I've recently discovered that things you see on social media that are trending aren't at all HMarts and HMart Mira Mesa seems to be of inventory. There are also many new discovery brands and foods (and beverages) here that I like that HMart Balboa doesn't have. So, yes, I will drive all the way to Mira Mesa to shop!
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
I've been going here a few years they always have great produce and fresh sea food. I always make the extra drive to stop here

Michael A.

Yelp
Mostly fresh and cheap Asian grocery. Chicken and meat are fresh. Seafood, unless alive, is not very fresh. You need to cook it on the same day; otherwise, you won't want to eat it if you require fresh fish taste. Fresh fish, seafood, chicken and meat should NOT smell if it is fresh!
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
It's a nice store in the community! I appreciate that there are almost anything that I want for Asian foods in my categories! :) I like their freshness of the products! We stopped here to get some groceries for the camping at big bear lake and we made a good choice for that! Natto seems to be cheaper so I was quite happy with it! :) Sweet potatoes we bought here were so sweet Good service indeed and Love it! Come enjoy shopping
google avatar

Idelle D.

Yelp
I love that I live next to this HMart! Probably not the best time to come but I braved HMart during New Years Eve to get some meat for a get together. Initially I was going to buy KBBQ Meats, but ended up getting Shabu Shabu meats instead. When we cooked it up at home it was really good! I also bought a pack of wagyu which was yummy as well. I love the convenience and freshness of the meat. I also bought some fresh shrimps. For dessert I bought avocado ice cream and milk tea Kit Kat which were both really good. I love the selection of products at this supermarket and even with the busyness of new years the staff were still friendly and courteous. The ambiance is clean and typical of an Asian market. Lots of Korean writing so don't expect to know everything you are picking from! Parking is kind of stressful but you just end up having to wait for someone to leave. Paris Baguette is attached to this HMart so that is convenient. Definitely my go to place for kbbq or shabu shabu meats for at home but will stick to my Vons in PQ for every day shopping.
google avatar

Yaya C.

Yelp
i love the fresh meat and many varieties of fruits and vegetables i've shopped at several and this is the biggest

Yelp
Bad customer service!!!!! Out of no way took my cart away for FOUR TIMES now and all the stuff I had are gone! Apparently someone is always taking people's cart and throw their stuffs to elsewhere, like why???????? Asked around nobody knows where my cart went and I have to start over again, wth???

Yelp
garlics were all swarming with little bugs. usually a good spot to get groceries but i'd double check your vegetables and fruits.

Yelp
Love this place The selections of dumplings, noodles and soy sauce are amazing. Seafood counter is fresh Polite employees. to go in here just to look at everything.

B E.

Yelp
My favorite part of this store is the prepared foods section. They have the best Japchae, in my opinion, so I always make a beeline to stock up. Also, the fried chicken wings are very crunchy and the rice has a wonderful sesame flavor. The produce department has a large selection of fresh vegetables and fruits and the kimchi section is vast. I like the radish kimchi the best. After I pick up some marinated beef riblets in the meat section, so tender, I get a few snacks and head to the cashier. My very last stop is the Paris baguette bakery for some cream cheese donuts, sweet potato donuts and crab croquettes. Excellent day of shopping! I wish there was a location in north county.
google avatar

Angela D.

Yelp
Hmart is your best stop for all your Asian grocery needs! I decided to eat there before I shopped because I would've bought more groceries than I needed ! Lol I love how they have "ready made food" to go and so much variety! As for service... You can get in and out pretty quickly. Much faster than at 99ranch. The store is clean and organized. It makes it easy to shop.
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
This a mostly Korean but with expansive choices for other asian food market. The place is well organized and clean. They are well stoked with fresh vegetables, seafood and other asian goods. You want korean drink here has a full section with it. You want Kimchi? This place has all the varieties you can ask. Why so many different presentation for Kimchi you might ask.... That's because each province and type of Kimchi has different flavor to it. Once you get used to the kimchi flavor, is fun to taste different ones. The key thing here is the price. For vegetable freshness and the price this is the place. For other items, you'll be amazed.
google avatar

Jenner B.

Yelp
I stopped by to pick up some ramen noodles and noticed they have a little food court. So I decided to get a sampler plate. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to pay $18.47 for the plate I put together. I felt like I got a bare minimum plate and the price totally threw me off. Everything was decent. The chicken wings were crunchy and were not over breaded. The ribs were good and not dry. The Bulgogi was good and not fatty. But overall I felt I paid top dollar for a step above buffet food. I'm sorry H Mart. I can't go higher than 3 stars for that.
google avatar

Gail U.

Yelp
4-22-22 Having not even been into the Honolulu H Mart, when the opportunity arose to kill sometime before our reservations at Gen, I was happy to visit the one in San Diego. Good to know there is a store like this that carries Asian products, even Hello Kitty packaged toilet paper. The fried chicken popularity was visible in their prepared food section. There were so many varieties of instant noodles. I was curious to see if they carried milk tea cuz we always buy from DQ or PM and bring that to Doc. Nope, didn't see any in their very many aisles. I did see live abalone and also quail eggs too. After visiting this H Mart I need to visit the Kakaako one at home.
google avatar

Arleen A.

Yelp
Mira Mesa Hmart is awesome! It's never too crowded, which I appreciate. They have a ton of instant ramen noodles, Korean snacks, BBQ meats, deli-prepared food, kimchis, and fruits. The place is always clean, shelves well-stocked, and the snacks are always delicious.
google avatar

Natasha Y.

Yelp
Very clean grocery store, it's never too busy like the other one in Clairemont/Kearney Mesa, fresh produce and always a big selection, our go to place for rice, kimchi, ramen, dumplings and more. They still have a 'savings card' system but it's free so make sure you always bring it because a phone number won't work (so I've been told). Big parking lot but fills up fast and there's a bunch of traffic with In N Out being in the same area. All in all a good place for full on grocery shopping or for just a quick grab.
google avatar

Zana K.

Yelp
This H mart has a lot of great stuff that we frequently need in the house. They have a wide variety of noodles and produce. The service is pretty good, always fast cashiers and friendly service. The only complaint i have would be the smell. The smell coming inside is extremely fishy and I literally have to hold my breath before walking in so as to slowly acclimate to the stench. The understand there is live fish in the back but it wreaks and makes the whole store stink. I keep coming back tho because they have stuff the other grocery stores dont have.
google avatar

Samuel C.

Yelp
Terrisa Bad customer service. There was the oldest cashier who was very rude. She kept telling me to put the basket under the conveyer when I was busy; and won't let me pay until I did. 2 stars. Her name started with a T. Either Terrisa or Tarrisa . Avoid her. Your picture will be here next time
google avatar

Vicky J.

Yelp
Our family visits Hmart a lot. First time trying their tteok rice cake from the prepared foods table near the door. Everyone loved it--it's not super sweet like it looks and is super fresh. From a tteok shop in Garden Grove. I also learned that in order to sell fresh tteok, shop owners lobbied CA government to get a law signed that as long as the box has a sticker that the rice cake is to be discarded after one day, then it doesn't have to be refrigerated for food safety. So there's a sticker that says Korean Rice Cake Association Corp on the box.

Yelp
August Stop 13 This is your standard H Mart, where you can get all the Korean goodies you need. From fresh produce to cut meat to instant ramen, this place has most everything you need. Even the fresh side dishes, hot foods, and household items, H Mart has what every good Korean kitchen would ever want. As a Chinese man, I do wish that they would stock a few other items that are more specific to other palettes. It does have a big parking lot, but it can get quite crowded so be ready to walk a bit!
google avatar

Julie B.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've been to hmart but I was craving fish for dinner and wanted to check out the Korean side dishes and ready made food options! I love hmart for their wide variety of literally everything. Vegetable, fruits, kimchi, Korean sides, snacks, instant noodles, seaweed, soju?! Literally so many options to choose from. I bought some seasoned fresh cucumber (but honestly it didn't taste too good. Not sure if it's actually because the cucumber didn't taste that fresh lol) I also saw some marinated clams and wanted to try it out and it was pretty decent. Fish section and seafood- I bought a tilapia and they scaled/gut it for me. They have a chart and you can choose how you want your fish cleaned. They have so many seafood options, I'm definitely ready to go back next time!! Overall, pretty clean store. I went on a weekday so it wasn't too crowded. Weekend checkout lines can be very long though.

Yelp
Love the food Go there on Thursday night that's when their shipment come in And stop buy the bakery
google avatar

Yelp
This market has a wide assortment of items, but what they are great in is their huge selection of ramen options.

Yelp
The French style bakery at the entrance is outstanding. There is a wide variety of pastries beyond croissants. It is fun to walk through with a tray and tongs to find the latest delicacy. The coffee is good and the counter staff polite. For those who wonder why the bakery is at an Asian market, Vietnam was a French colony known as French Indochina ending in 1954.

Yelp
This was the biggest H-Mart I have ever been too. So clean and organized just like the stores in NYC and Chicago. Vegas could use this store as well. Great customer services and they are very efficient. For sure will be back.

Yelp
Pretty nice H Mart. But because this H Mart shares the parking lot with popular Daiso and Meet Fresh, parking can be difficult to find. Even entering can be a problem is there is a long line in the neighbor, In N Out. The place seems clean. Even the seafood area seems cleaner than the seafood space at Zion in Clairemont Mesa. The sashimi choices are great, and the quality of fish is the same as Zion. There are more deli choices than Zion Market, and the quality is the same as Zion. The Paris Baguette at this location has many tempting choices and is cleaner than the Zion in CM. All customer service at H Mart is friendly enough, but Zion has friendlier service in my opinion.

Yelp
I've been in my fair share of Asian markets. This one is the cleanest one I've ever been too. Well stocked, probably the best selection of protein including various meats, chicken, seafood, and exclusive Asian snacks you can only find in Asian markets. We came here to pick up chicken, beef, and vegetables for a BBQ. There is even a Paris Baguette inside. Oddly, I even saw an armed security guard inside (not sure if that's a good or bad thing but hey you got a step up in security I guess).
