H Mart San Jose Oakland

My first time at this shop. It was amazing. I love baked sweet potato but there was nothing in the oven. I will go back to get it.

H Mart always has the best Korean prepped food ready to buy. Plus there's an indoor dessert and hot area if you're hungry. I always find all of the ingredients needed for Korean dishes that cannot be found anywhere else with competitive prices too. I found these sweet green seedless grapes today! So delicious!!

I have been to several different H Marts on both the East Coast and here in California. This H Mart location is better than the other one in San Jose for sure, and overall pretty good in terms of cleanliness, freshness, and selection. In comparison to other H Marts, there isn't a big variety of prepared food, but this was the only spot that had fresh roasted sweet potatoes! When I am in San Jose, I will definitely shop here.

This place has so much variety in different asian foods and their pastries are delicious! This is definitely my favorite asian market. It's huge, has a great layout, and has wall fulls of yummy ramen. The little Korean corn dog shop inside is so amazing as well. Their cereal corn dog is out of this WORLD.

Huge selection of Asian products at reasonable price. They have products that are harder to find here without paying for a premium. There are usually items on sale and some are at least half off. You can download their free app for membership pricing on some of their products and reward points. All the products are organized and clean. The employees were nice and efficient so the checkout line moved quickly. Plenty of parking but it gets busy on the weekend so you might have to wait for someone to leave to get a spot.

This Hmart offers a vast selection of Asian products at reasonable prices. They stock items that can be challenging to find elsewhere without a hefty premium. You'll often find items on sale, with discounts of up to 50%. By downloading their free app, you can access membership pricing on select products and earn reward points. The store maintains impeccable organization and cleanliness. The courteous and efficient staff ensures a swift checkout experience. While parking is ample, it can get crowded on weekends, requiring a brief wait for a spot to open up. I love visiting Hmart for all my Korean needs (I’m not Korean ☺️), and its proximity to my home is a bonus. The store's organization and cleanliness greatly facilitate grocery shopping. Their extensive instant noodle selection both excites and overwhelms me, given the abundance of delectable options. Customer service is usually decent, though,(I forgot her name) at the cashier went above and beyond to make my visit sweeter. Notably, they now offer a savings card that allows you to earn points while shopping and enjoy special sale prices. I'm delighted that this H Mart is so close to my home, making it a fantastic destination for Asian groceries. Their offerings include a marinated meat section, a butcher area, a seafood section, and a sashimi case. There's even a small food court for a quick bite. Admittedly, some items may be pricier than at other grocery stores, but the store's wide variety of products more than compensates for it.

Always love walking through H-Mart in different states. This one had prepared food, hot food, produce, beverages, meat and more. One aspect I want to mention is the store was freezing cold. Prices are a little bit higher compared to other types of grocery stores.

H Mart is clean & organized. Staff’s are friendly. My recommendation for all your special needs including hot pot, Korean BBQ delicious dishes….!!
