Took my folks to Haakon/Lenai and had an amazing experience on a beautiful day in the Willamette Valley! Stunning views of the vineyard and hillsides. Tasted (2) Pinots & (2) Chardonnays. Great knowledgable service by Owen, who was pouring delicious vineyard selections. We joined the Haakon/Lenai wine club and other members in our party purchased their fabulous 2021 Chardonnay! The atmosphere, service, and location are stunning!

Just 50 minutes from Downtown. Small but charming, with balcony views overlooking the vineyard. The servers aren’t just pouring wine—they’re part of the winemaking process, so every sip comes with real insider knowledge. The owner even stopped by during my visit, sharing his cool story about how the brand got started. Their focus is on two Willamette Valley classics: Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. Haakon Lenai Vineyard is a good stop to add to your itinerary, specially if you like whites. Quiet with good views and knowledgeable servers!

We had an incredible tasting at Haakon Lenai, made even better by our host, Owen. He was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, not just about Haakon Lenai wines, but also the other varietals of the region. The wines were excellent, and Owen’s insights made each pour even more enjoyable. The setting itself is stunning, with expansive views and a serene atmosphere that makes you want to linger. This is the perfect spot to relax, learn, and enjoy exceptional wine.

First winery we visited on our trip to the Willamette Valley, and what a way to start. Spectacular wines and what a beautiful view. Jody provided such an amazing experience. Taught us so much on the history of the region, and of course the purple hands wine making. Went above and beyond making recommendations for restaurants in the area and stops to make for the rest of our trip. Wish purple hands was easier to get back in Canada. Exceptional wine.
