The 38 Best Restaurants in Bangkok, Thailand | Eater

"This “supper club,” located in a mostly residential neighborhood on Bangkok’s east side, has turned into a full-fledged culinary destination for foodies and fashionistas. Chef Dylan Eitharong turns out impeccable Thai food, digging up more obscure dishes to give them some time in the spotlight. Menus change frequently, but standouts include his wok-fried smoky cabbage with dried chiles and Sichuan peppercorn, and a Southern Thai-style gang dtomae with fish, okra, and curry leaves. Because there are only two tables, reservations are essential." - Chawadee Nualkhair

This is the most unique and personal dinner experience I’ve ever had. So glad we found this place. Seated in the owner’s house with 6 other people (who were strangers first but became friends at the end of the evening) we were served dish after dish of some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Extremely tasty, mercilessly spicy and just super delicious. Dylan and his crew really delivered and made sure I’ll never forget this evening. Thank you!

This spot is both low key and iconic. The food was truly sublime, Dylan is a culinary talent, the staff are so friendly and warm, Esther is a drink filler ninja extraordinaire & if you so happen to get seated with some cool people, the experience really soars to new heights. Feel so lucky to have added this to my list of top spots. Hope to be back!

Living in On Nut for over 11 years, I recently discovered this restaurant on Google Maps. Had to book 2 months in advance for a spot late November and now I totally understand why ร้านหอม is becoming more and more popular. I had a really nice dining experience here. It’s a so called supper club concept, which means you are sharing the table with strangers. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the appetisers. It is as Thai as it can get. Which means it does get spicy, so be prepared if you aren’t used to it! You have to share the mains with the other guests. As one of them was 50 mins late and missed the appetisers, I could tell he was hungry and took more than the others. In the end I had enough, but I wasn’t that full. The owner/chef is a cool guy and the staff was attentive and friendly. If you are looking for a nice dining experience with amazing Thai food, this should not be missed.

Brilliant supper club hidden deep inside Bangkok. Worth the three month wait to get a reservation here. What a great meal chef Dylan and team

What an amazing meal! Chef Dylan had made us a splendid array of dishes, each brimming of complexity in flavours and yet perfectly balanced. The deep-fried fish with his dad’s chilli recipe is to die for. I’m definitely looking forward to our next visit 😋

Id like to state im not the biggest fan of thai food so i went into this experience with extremely high expectations but also some trepidation. Well after the first bite i quickly changed my tune. Not only were Dylan and his staff amazing hosts, each dish was beyond amazing. I can say that Thai food was ruined for me because after living here for close to 14 years and trying tons of thai restaurants, I know that Ill have to keep coming back to get the flavors that only Dylan can achieve. Simply perfection.

Food was amazing. They constantly change the menu as well. So worth multiple visits. But definitely hard to reach. No parking so best to Grab over. The server is nice. It's shared table to you need to be comfortable with sharing the table with strangers. I personally don't mind it and had a great time. The chef is definitely talented as he's self-taught. But he dampened the experience a bit as he seems rather annoyed most of the time.

I have enjoyed dining at Haawm's twice and eagerly anticipate my next visit. Since discovering this exceptional "supper club," it has become a must-visit on all my trips to Bangkok. The food, with its authentic flavors and ingredients, is a true delight, and Dylan and his team are outstanding hosts. Sharing the table with other guests adds a delightful social element, making every dinner here a memorable experience.
