Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! believe me when I say they have the richest tastiest salsa’s. burritos are generously served and delicious ofc! Tacos are handmade and only $2.50!!!!! I couldn’t believe it. Will be coming back FOR SURE! ❤️

This place is honestly really good. Got the; Habanero Burrito with Carne Asada, a taco al pastor and a taco with carnitas. Everything was delicious with great portions especially with how inexpensive it was. The tortillas were nice quality and the service was nice. Highly recommend dropping by and giving it a try, in a nice food truck spot so there’s plenty of seating, parking, and other trucks to try out.

Cool little place that I came upon by happenstance. I am a San Diego native and their California burrito is on point. I haven’t tried anything else here but I am sure it is all great as well. Salsa was delicious as well. They have a salsa roja that is orange in color and very reminiscent of many you find in Southern California. So good, I will definitely be back for my California burrito fix when I need it.

Excellent service. The person who took my order was awesome. Very friendly. The burritos are big! It's very flavorful and you can add almost anything. Mine wasn't super greasy, which was great. The meat was cooked perfectly and the spices used inside just come together so well. It can be made spicy too.

Had my fair share of burritos around the city, but gotta say this is one of my favorites. The owners are super friendly, and the food is incredible. The sauces pack a nice punch, and are really flavorful too. There’s a great blend of stuff in the burrito too, with a perfect amount of rice that’s not too heavy. Highly recommend!!!

Clean and filling. Plain, tasteless. Definitely not disgusting, quality everything, but totally bland. The name habanero burrito does not include actual flavor, salt or spice. $23 for 2 burritos, wait time 18 minutes, no line.

I've only ever gotten the al pastor burrito from here, but the burrito is great every time. Their al pastor is really flavorful, so I'm sure the tacos would be amazing too.

Excellent service and the food is delicious! My favorite is the Chile relleno burrito which has the perfect ratio of beans, cheeses, rice and chile, but I also indulge in the breakfast burrito as well. I'm also very picky about my chips and salsas and the chips were crispy and not too oily, there was oil in the bottom of the container, but the chips. Themselves weren't over oiled themselves.

This is by far the best burrito I've ever had. I have had both the Carne Asada Habanero Burrito and the Pastor Habanero Burrito, and definitely recommend trying them! The burritos are massive and yummy. The shrimp tacos are absolutely delicious!! The shrimps are perfectly cooked, juicy, and succulent! This is a food cart, but there were plenty of indoor seating available and is great for groups. The service excellent! It took about 15-20 minutes before my order was ready.

After finishing work at 10am, the client said I got your lunch, so I headed to Habanero with much excitement. All of PDX is shiny and new to me as I just moved here and this spot was mentioned as a Top burrito spot by a dude who works at Fox 12 so I had to see what all the fuss is about. Many of the food trucks had not opened yet but Habanero opens at 9am! I asked the man what I should get and he said Habanero w steak. Asked for hot and medium sauce and bottle of Mexican Coke to wash it down. $15.50 total. Bro. I am from the land of perfect burritos several hours south but I continue to be impressed with what is occurring in PDX. This meal was absolutely off the charts. You may have seen bigger burritos but the way they stuff this with meal with carne asada you will be satisfied both by portion and mad flava. The sauces are off the charts and accent the meal perfectly. I was crying inside that something this good is nearby. This place averages 4.9 stars out of 5 so prepare yourself!!! I'm gonna try a few more trucks and taqueria's before I crown the Burrito King of PDX but in the meantime I'll be returning for this dense wrap of Mexican perfection. Crazy good, keep up the great work!!!

Yes, I am here AGAIN. This place is amazing. If you've never tried it? You're missing out. It doesn't matter what I order the food is so delicious!! Super friendly people!! There is sometimes a wait - call ahead and order you won't regret it!!!

Best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Huge, really fair price, chorizo was crispy and flavorful, refried beans were delish and added a nice creamy texture to the burrito. Service was great too, made my wife's burrito with no cheese no sour cream no problem. Side note, love when food cart pods have indoor seating!

I love this food truck. Bright green, located in its own parking lot on the south side of Eastport Plaza. Menu is pretty large and there are lots of vegetarian vegan options. I usually go for the burrito with a vegetarian protein (tofu, soyrizo, or soy curls). Prices are reasonable for the large portions. Multiple salsa options, including very spicy. Great staff/owners, the kind of people you want to support. Two covered picnic tables out front.

I ordered some takeout from this place kind of expecting a middle of the road experience. Boy was I wrong! I got an order of carnitas nachos, and I'm not exaggerating, but they may have been the BEST NACHOS I'VE EVER HAD. So rich, so tasty, so satisfying! I've been meaning to go back and visit in person, but it's just been so cold out. One of these days though! If you want AMAZING nachos, this is the place!

Fabulous vegan burrito! I would order it again and again! It was so flavored and I really enjoyed how you could also add vegan sour cream and vegan cheese to your burrito. I want to go back and try their breakfast burritos, as I'm sure they are equally as delicious. I'm not going to lie, this place definitely shocked me with how great it was - not too bad for a food truck!

great news! Habanero Burrito has reopened in the Core PDX lot at 3612 SE 82nd, not far from the original location and in a nicer environment. service is always quick and friendly, food is excellent as always.

First time here and drove out of my way because of the reviews. The food truck had its own section of a parking lot and ample parking. I gather that there had previously been other food trucks at this location but currently only the one. The truck looked clean with no noticeable concerns. The woman at the window was very kind and helpful. We ordered a Quesadilla with carnitas and carne asada burrito. We sat down at the tables they had in front of the truck and waited about 10 minutes. The kind woman behind the window came out and wiped down the table for us and brought us extra napkins and sauces. The carne asada burrito was good. Nice sized and a good balance of ingredients. Now the carnitas in the quesadilla was the BEST I've had in Portland so far. Great seasoning, crisp pieces, tender and NOT greasy. We'll be back!

Absolutely delicious and an exceptional find. Habanero Burrito is operating at a level that is uncommon for Mexican food places and in Portland and believe me when I say that they're doing it right! I definitely recommend this Habanero Burrito and would like to add that it would be my go-to destination even when I lived in Arizona which had some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. I'm gonna start out with some fun facts. Everything can be made vegan and they have legit vegan cheese and sour cream options. Even their refried beans are made vegan by default which isn't usually the case but is very welcome in my book. I wouldn't have been able to tell that they didn't contain lard unless specifically told which is incredible. Their hottest sauce appears to be diary based but again it's vegan too! And it packs a punch! Delicious and very well received. They hand make the tortillas for the tacos!!! You can truly taste the difference and it's worth it. Whatever you order, the protein is cooked to order and fresh! Might make sense to call it in ahead as wait times might be slightly longer depending on how busy it is. I did not do that and was still in and out. They have fun Jarritos drinks and a nice sitting area which isn't on the large side but was plenty comfortable for a quick bite. I ordered a carne asada burrito with vegan cheese and sour cream. Portions were all spot on and every ingredient in that burrito was seasoned to perfection. It's legit in all the best ways! The gentleman running the truck was friendly and took the time to answer all my questions regarding what was vegan and what was not. Thanks for that!! I think this is now my main lunch spot and if you haven't had the pleasure of a Habanero Burrito then your missing out!

Sooo good!! I got the asada burrito with a side of chips with some avocado salsa. Good portion size & very friendly service! Chips are sooo good and freshly made. 10/10 recommend!

I'm from California, so my Mexican food expectations are very high. I got the Habanero Steak (Carne Asada) Burrito along with mild and medium salsa. The food was good undoubtedly. I thought it was an interesting choice to have red onion strings in the burrito but I didn't mind. I will say that I felt the steak could've been seasoned a bit more. The burrito felt fairly one note after about half way through it. I have to say it was a large portion too. Overall I would eat here again but I'm still on a journey to find the best Mexican food in the PNW!

Whatever they use to season their tacos and fajita veggies is fantastic. Delicious, caramelized onions and peppers, and super tasty salsas. Only the habanero sauce is super spicy; the rojo, verde and avocado salsas are all just right and oh so good. My wife loves the shrimp tacos, which come with house-made tortillas, grilled veggies and perfectly plump butterfly shrimp. The fully loaded nachos are excellent, and so is the fajita burrito. Haven't had a meat selection that wasn't excellent. The wait can be long, so call to order before you go.

Such a great food truck! The wait is usually pretty long so I recommend ordering ahead or being willing to wait. Everything there is good but the burritos are especially big and delicious!

This is the new spot in southeast pdx for quick & delicious Mexican food!! I used to be a regular don Pedro customer but after way to many horrible experiences our last few visits at multiple of their locations, it's clear they are all going downhill as far as quality & service go. I have given habanero burrito, a good five visits now and ordered different things each time, and every single time it has been spot on & my family couldn't wait to return back! We've tried the habanero burrito, just about all the tacos, & the California & breakfast burritos...EVERYTHING is fire. Don't forget the avocado salsa!! The man working is always very pleasant as well! Overall 10/10 experience in a world full of mediocre food & service; you definitely gotta try this spot out!

Absolutely incredible - worth the drive anywhere in Portland! A great value for high quality ingredients and huge portions. The owner is super friendly and has a wide array of various taco sauces. Highly recommend 5/5 stars!

So again in moving, we wander new places. So, we thought to try a little south of the border. So, we looked on Yelp to see what was good. (So I recommend when looking for food, Yelp first, Yelp last, Yelp always!) So we picked Habanero Burrito. You thought this sentence was going to start with so. Sadly nope, I am over that theme now. Ok - so my rule for South American food - salsa has to be good. Check. Overall the food was amazing. The signature Habanero salsa was just hot enough to make you sweat. There was no talking during the meal, and the food was too good to focus on anything else. We ended with Flan. I have to say, the Flan alone deserves 5 stars.

Hands down my favorite cart burrito in Portland. I always get the habanero burrito with either carnitas or steak and they both are great. Make sure to get the habanero sauce if you like hot or the avocado sauce if you want something more mild. I usually call in my order and it's ready in 20 minutes. Also, it's definitely a to-go place.

Must go to place! Very clean, very nice people. Food was flavorful and not greasy. I had a chicken quesadilla which was made perfectly! My husband had a habanero burrito. Must come if you want great tacos, burritos, quesadillas and such!

It's delicious every time we go. Love the sauces. Usually pretty quick to get you your order and if it's going to take a little longer, their wait time is on point. I love the California burrito and because of the fries, it takes a little longer to cook. Very consistent. Sad to see they are moving locations, but I will follow wherever they go.

Well driving around trying to decide where to eat I saw a little food court pod with four carts in it. I am always a sucker for a good burrito so I tried out habanero burrito. They recommended mix Sanrio's burrito. Each bite was a explosion of flavor. I wanted to stop just after eating half the burrito, but it was so good I polished it off. Come here before a Pickles game, before your Walmart adventure, just get here. I'll be back sooner than later.

The food is always so good here. I love the carne asada fries and the burritos. Their chips and salsa is my favorite too. The wait is usually long though, it's usually about 20-30 minutes every time I come, so I'd recommend calling ahead if you don't want to wait.

The food is incredible. Best burrito I've had in Portland. We ordered in a whim tonight. My husband got the habanero burrito and I got the chili relleno burrito. They were both absolutely incredible! We will be ordering again soon.

Wow! This place is a hit! The tacos and burritos are really good. I'm tired of the birria hype so I ventured out and found this spot. Been there a handful of times and they never disappoint. Always consistent and friendly folks. GET THE HABANERO SAUCE!!!!

Pretty good local Mexican. Hard to find a Mexican place around. Being Latino from southern Cali haven't quite found my fit yet but this place was pretty good. Would recommend going back.

fantastic burrito, truly! I ordered the chicken burrito and the shredded chicken in the burrito was juicy and flavorful! at a lot of places, the shredded chicken is dry but here it's the star of the burrito! plus a great balance of beans, rice and cheese. I will definitely be back!

Found this place this morning. Yuuuge Breakfast Burrito. The burrito itself was absolutely yummy, and the sauces(heard they're Homemade) were , too. The Green sauce was more complex than others I've had, the Red had a smokey kick to it, and the Habanero white sauce has a BITE...but it's manageable. Friendly staff. Large Portions. I'll be back for sure...you should, too.

Seriously, get in your car and get some food from this spot. Been here multiple times and their food is fire every time. Coming from the bay area to PNW was rough burrito wise and this place brings me back home. Simple, delicious and consistent. My absolute go to for a burrito. Leaps and bounds better than most mexican food spots in the city. Their salsas are super tasty too and they have several types. Check them out, you wont regret it.

In a sea of other burrito places, this place really stands out. I tried the Oregon Breakfast burrito with asada. They also have a Spanish Breakfast Burrito. That'll be on my next trip. Now about the salsa. Its some of the best I've had. Definitely the best in Portland. There are two that are hot, but not face melting. Its a slow burn with a kick. Drizzled on my burrito was outstanding. My wife enjoyed having an entirely separate vegetarian/vegan menu to choose from. She tried the avocado burrito and LOVED it. The pan fried outside was a nice touch.

This has been our favorite Mexican spot for awhile now. Their burritos and sopes are so good!

As a Mexican from Los Angeles, I looooooove this place. My boyfriend and I both get full on only $25! The salsas are delicious, the food is delicious, there's a variety for vegetarians and meat-eaters, what more could you want?!

actually insane. these burritos are the best i've ever had, vegan & in general. the option to add vegan cheese & sour cream MAKES the whole meal. the serving size is so generous & you really get a bang for your buck. i will never get a burrito anywhere else tbh. the people are always so kind & helpful, and their salsa is unreal. the verde is perfect for people who don't love spice, but their signature habanero one is gas

This cart is my new favorite spot in the neighborhood, and there's some stiff competition around! The burritos and nachos have so much flavor, the right proportions (big!) and a little greasy, just the way I like it ;). The salsas are all super tasty, just be careful with the habanero, it'll elevate your mind if you take too much at once. The owner is really friendly too. I'm super happy we've got another great cart in the neighborhood, so give it a shot, you'll be glad you did!

These are the best burritos I drive pretty far to pick them up! Only thing that sucks is they're out of their salsas pretty frequently but really delicious food :)
