Habanero Mexican Fine Cuisine

First time visit for both my wife & I here last week and we enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is cool- has wooden chairs & booths with what looked like engraved 'habanero' words on them which was pretty cool. The service was great- waitress came back to us several times asking if we were good and for refills. The food portion sizes for the price was really good, and they had free house chips & salsa, which was decent. The food was all right- nothing exceptional, but wasn't bad or anything but given the prices, I still ranked it 4 out of 5 stars for the food quality. I also went to the bathroom before eating & it was average for a restaurant.

My wife and I stopped in here Friday night for dinner. It's so close to our house, and we had a taste for some great Mexican cuisine! We have eaten here several times. The food, the service and the atmosphere are always very good. We started off with some chips and salsa. Very tasty as always! The chips always come out hot and fresh. I love that! After the chips and salsa we ordered dinner My wife ordered the enchilada dinner with rice and beans And I ordered the two Taco fish dinner with rice and beans Both were presented very well cooked, hot and fresh. I have been here plenty of times. Usually it’s either this place or friacos in Shorewood. Both are amazing. Can’t choose who’s best. Lol I usually get the fajita dinner and it’s always amazing. Sizzling and hot. Salsa is delicious and margaritas are the bestest ever! Burritos and nortena dinner is delicious as well. Harchata is very tasty. Staff are always attentive and constantly ask if we need anything else.

Pozole lunch specials, aguas frescas available instead of pop, and the salsa de arbol was crazy good if you like spicy.

I know it's really not hard to mess up Mexican food but this place was fantastic, the meal all the way down to the sides and Guacamole. If you've ever had a taste for Mexican and need to fill that void, look no further, this place will hit the spot and leave content! The staff is wonderful and always and very welcoming and feels like your welcomed with open arms. For the nights I've had to order out it's also good. Don't spend more money at fast food that dont "Ring" up and have regrets in the morning... Habanero actually cares what they put out and it better than the rest.

This places is delicious. From the very start the warm chips and salsa was amazing. We came in for dinner on the weekend, the service was great, everyone was super friendly. We all enjoyed the margaritas. My burrito was nice and light and flavorful. We really liked the enchiladas and tacos as well. The rice and beans may be the best I’ve had at a restaurant, perfectly seasoned. We will be back

I absolutely love the service here! I work next door and often come here on my meal breaks. The server with the beautiful pink hair, was absolutely wonderful. Overall, everyone has a great attitude. I definitely recommend dropping by here!

This is my whole family's favorite place to go . I moved here from AZ 3 1/2 yrs ago . There was some great mexican food there, but this place blows them outta the water. It's so fresh , looks fresh , smells fresh , but most of all, it tastes fresh . I love the fajitas, flautas , tacos and everything else we've all had from there. Service has always been good n friendly . Give it a whirl and see for yourself . I think you'll be pleasantly surprised !
