"The neighborly MetroWest eatery delivers the goods for pita enthusiasts and kebabophiles alike. The meat-averse can delight in a vegetarian platter highlighted by smoky baba ghanoush and lemony grape leaves. Still, the seasoned sirloin shawarma, fried kibbeh, and succulent and flavorful beef and kefta kebabs are what provoke the most prolonged grunts of gratification." - Faiyaz Kara

Google
First timer here, and the chicken shawarma was amazing. I asked the guys for recommendations, and was even given a heads up as to how long my order will take depending on the protein I ordered. I picked the chicken for quicker service. Price was reasonable, place was clean, and everyone behind the counter was genuinely friendly. I will be back here for sure, thanks!

Google
Definitely one of my favorite places in Orlando. I used to go to the UCF restaurant every now and then when I lived in Orlando, and today when I came back, I remembered why. The food quality is great and everything is well seasoned and balanced. Service can be somewhat slow, but it is not a deal breaker personally.

Google
First time ordering in this place. People inside were friendly and recommended sauces to go with the food I got. For meat lovers, I highly recommend the shawarma platter—all flavors complemented each other. Also, finish off your meal with their baklava. Its got a nice crunch and just the right amount of sweetness. Legit halal food place in the area!

Google
We ordered our food through Uber Eats so couldn’t rate atmosphere but we really enjoyed the food. The grape leaves were delicious! Perfectly balanced not overly oily. We asked for the steak kabobs to be medium rare and they were exactly that. Tender, well seasoned and perfectly medium rare. The baklava was delicious as well. We will be ordering from here often.

Food was super delicious and excellent. MOUTH WATERING 💯 Staff were nice & friendly. Great people, great place. A must visit.

Google
This is the best Lebanese food ever. It was our first time but my whole family loved it. Everything fresh and well seasoned, you can tell that they cook right after you order. The two guys working there were super nice and attentive. Overall will definitely be going back and 100% recommend it.

Google
The hands down best Lebanese good I have ever had. Among the disappointing meals my family had during our vacation, this was the best. I drove over 30 minutes one way for their chef's platter and the baklava. One time was dine in, and the second was to go. Truly 11/10

Google
Family owned atmosphere. Nice people. Ingredients are fresh and the flavors are enjoyable. I wanted maybe 10% to 15% more of the fantastic flavors/seasoning to make this a spot to repeat regulalry since I don't live that close. Definitely worth the detour on my way out of town.

Yelp
This is a bit expensive for the price paid, but the food is pretty good. When you enter, you go to the counter and order your food and drink. I did the chicken kabob wrap (9 dollars). After ordering and paying, I sat down at a table, waiting for my food. There were many other patrons waiting as well, so I knew it may take some time. There was a TV playing the news as well as middle Eastern music in the background. They make their food fresh, so it does take a bit of time to grill the chicken. About 15 minutes later, my food was ready, which I took home. The wrap had some marks and the bread was a bit hard due to the press and double breaded, but it held the ingredients inside quite well. The chicken was a bit tough, but still flavorful with the sauces added. I believe hummus, garlic sauce, and the requested hot sauce were there, as well as tomato and some pickled vegetables. The flavors came out pretty good and the portions were right. I always have the food to go here as many tables can get occupied. The wait is normally a bit long, but the service is relatively friendly and helpful. I normally go to the Publix within walking distance, then come back to get my food. You can also call ahead to order, then pay and pickup your food. While this isn't my favorite place for Middle Eastern wraps, it is still a good and healthy place near Metrowest for them .

Yelp
Finally gave this Lebanese restaurant a try and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing! I had pita with humus along with a wrap. Great food and very filling!

Cambria V.

Yelp
One of our favorite spots in Orlando. When anyone visits us from out of town, we bring them here. The employees are always friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and delicious. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The pita sandwiches are incredible. The Mediterranean salad is one of the best salads I've had. Highly recommend Habibi!

Cara N.

Yelp
This place had the most authentic flavors of Lebanese food I have been able to find in Florida. The staff was super nice and we had a lovely conversation. The location was easy to find and the restaurant was clean and enjoyable.

Milixa R.

Yelp
I can't express how delighted I am with my experience at Habibi! The food is authentic and bursting with flavor. The staff is friendly. I highly recommend Habibi to anyone craving a taste of Lebanese.

Yelp
(4/26/2023) got several to-go orders for coworkers and myself. I thought it was all really delicious, savory, well spiced. Def get the garlic sauce. I've been to other Habibi locations, and I think this one is the best. There was a line and quite a wait. I had ordered ahead of time, but still not ahead enough. One guy very nice and hustling, the other did not engage and didn't look like he was doing much useful (he must have owned the place). Hope they keep up the food quality.

Melyssa F.

Yelp
Have been coming here over the last few years! Everything has always been consistent. I can tell it has gotten some paint and stuff making it look nicer. Our favorite thing to order is the chicken shawarma or the mixed one that has chicken and beef. I however ask for all the veggies and sauces on my chicken one and it is soo good and massive. I even had hubby put it up by his head for size reference lol The staff is super nice and they wear gloves and I saw them change them a few times which is nice.

Yelp
So I have been doing my best to explore Orlando cuisine far and wide. I heard that this place has some of the best Middle Eastern food in the city. At least according to the fine readers of Orlando Weekly. So I grabbed a couple of friends and took the long trek down to Hiawassee and checked it out. I get in this place, and I see just delicious food displayed everywhere behind the glass. There's nothing better than watching those spinning meat sticks in the back getting ready to get eaten by me. I check out the menu and weight out my options, knowing I kind of want a little bit of everything. I decide to get the Chef's Platter for 2-3 people (Chicken Kabob, Shish or Kafta Kabob, Hummus, Tabouli, Grape Leaves (V) & Falafel. Served With Garlic Sauce & Pita Bread). And, because I wanted it, I also got the Chicken Shawarma Platter (Marinated Chicken Breasts Roasted Slowly On A Spit, And Cut In Thin Slices). I mean, everything was good. So good. The kabobs were awesome. Charred to perfection and not dried out because of it. Don't just eat them off the stick, though. You gotta grab of a hunk of meat with the pita, dip it in the hummus, maybe a little garlic sauce, a slice of pickle on top. Basically I'm telling you to get your hands dirty and play with your food here. This kind of cuisine is so much fun for that. The hummus was better than anything you can buy in a store. Mega creamy, and teeming with spices. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the outside, like a Lebanese hush puppy. And the pita bread was so soft, so rippable, and the perfect vessel for me to make dozens of little sandwiches with multiple flavor combinations. So good. Also also, the shawarma was excellent. First time I've ever had shawarma, which is surprising, since I saw the Avengers back in like 2012. Very flavorful. This one was a little dry, but hey, all meat that's barbecued like this can be dry. That's why we invented sauces. And tabouli and hummus and rice, and pickles. Very good stuff. Overall, I really really loved this place. I wasn't sure how I'd like the Lebanese focus with the foods that were more basic Middle Eastern, but everything new I tried here was really excellent. The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be back here one day.

Yelp
Habibi has been a favorite of my family's for years! It's a quaint little restaurant that is always kept clean, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Today, we had an order of grape leaves as an appetizer to start. I love grape leaves, and these were perfect! Even my aunt who usually doesn't like grape leaves enjoyed Habibi's grape leaves too! We also shared an order of hummus with an extra order of pita bread. They're absolutely delicious. The pita is thin and tastes homemade, unlike the disappointing puffy ones at grocery stores. It tastes authentic, as does the hummus. We love the oil, seasoning, and herbs in it. For our main lunch item, we each got a small lentil soup. It is perfectly seasoned with a perfect consistency--not too thick or thin. We also enjoyed the hot sauce. I took a picture of it after we had already used up most of it! It was different from the hot sauce I remembered them having in the past. While this one is not really spicy, it has a great flavor which is addictive. I could have consumed a whole bottle of it.

Yelp
My friends/neighbors kindly dropped off some take out from Habibi Lebanese Grill a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. In central Florida, all ethnic eateries tend to be hit and miss vs the big cities like NYC/LA. HLG hit the spot w/ the pita sandwiches (I am sure it's called something different), ingredients were fresh/flavorful/clean. Not sure about a dine In experience, but I would like to check it out some day. Keep up the good quality food, Orlando needs more authentic flavors like this...

Derek M.

Yelp
Great Lebanese food! My wife and I have been here multiple times. We love the wraps! And the dinner meals are good also. The food tastes very fresh! The restaurant is small with a few tables, we usually get take-out. We have seen the same two guys each time we have went and they are very kind and helpful with suggestions.

Khalid K.

Yelp
Keeping my money without asking me, food was bad I'm not going back there anymore not friendly please find another restaurant

Daniel H.

Yelp
Best thing of getting my annual physical is stopping here after, although I wished I made it a monthly thing. I've had great shawarma wraps up north and in Texas but this place is consistent every time. I usually get the chicken shwarma wrap but this time I got the mixed one as it has the beets and pickled turnips with lettuce and tomato, whereas the other one doesn't. Glad I tried this one as it was well made. The staff were extremely friendly as well!

Imad R.

Yelp
This is authentic Lebanese restaurant, small place not big sitting area, but food is amazing. They substitute items at your request. Everyone was so nice. Place is always busy, so reservations are highly recommended. Their chicken and beef items are authentic. They have good kids menu as

Marisol C.

Yelp
Food is fresh and delicious, good portions, excellent service and the guys are very nice. Casual ambiance. I recommend

Miranda C.

Yelp
Best. MiddleEastern. Food. Ever. Just love this place. Wish I didn't live 100 miles away!

Bethany H.

Yelp
This is a little jewel of a restaurant! I ordered the chicken kabob with sides of tabouli, hummus, and Lebanese salad, while my daughter ordered the lamb kabob, yellow rice, bean salad, and garlic potatoes. Plus, we received an array of little extras (lentil soup, babaganoush, falafel, a lemon sauce of some kind, stuffed grape leaves, etc.) that the generous and kind chef/owner kept delivering to our table with a kindly smile on his face, seemingly delighted by the enjoyment his food brought to us. The flavors used in these dishes were intensely flavorful and fresh, and they all harmonized beautifully! I did not expect this to be such a wonderful dining experience at an inauspicious and affordable place, but it was! I'm definitely going back whenever I visit Orlando and plan to sample my way through the menu over time.

David D.

Yelp
Amazing food, always delicious, made to order, the stuff is very helpful, they have outside seating. Plenty of parking

Nazir M.

Yelp
When ordering party platters to go, pls check the order. Mine was shortchanged. Got smaller platters when I had paid for larger ones

Zakaria D.

Yelp
Great authentic Middle Eastern food. Little pricy for the platters. The sandwiches and baba ghanouj is incredible

R M.

Yelp
As a Lebanese I can judge the authenticity of the food. I have to admit the food was really good. It has the really flavors of a home cooked meal. The babaghanouj is Smokey in taste as it should be. The Kafta Kabab was delicious as was the hummus and tabbouleh.

Shahd A.

Yelp
We ordered a chicken kabob sandwich combo and a beef shawarma sandwich and it was very delicious. I'm Arab and this place feels like food cooked at home. The man who works there is very sweet and told us he made our sandwiches with love and it made my day. I would absolutely recommend Habibi to anyone looking for some good Arab food in Orlando, you won't be disappointed.

Michael S.

Yelp
Some of the best food in Orlando, definitely the best Lebanese food I've had thus far. I try to get it a few times a month if I can. All I've tried sofar are the shawarma pita sandwiches, would like to expand and try some other items down the line... but those sandwiches are just too good lol.

Anisa S.

Yelp
One of the best beef and chicken shawarma I've had!! This was a hole in the wall and I was skeptical because it was in a random Publix plaza. However, I am so happy they got it right My husband ordered a mixed shawarma wrap and I had the beef shawarma. We also ordered fries and falafel. I personally do not like falafel unless an old lady from Palestine makes it from scratch but I tried theirs anyway. I was surprisingly pleased that their falafel was so moist on the inside and not drenched in oil. The fries weren't my favorite.. they tasted bland but the shawarma wraps were seasoned and the fillings were the perfect amount!! I'm pretty sure the extra tahini sauce was for the falafel but the wraps were a little dry in the middle so it was a good addition. We will definitely be returning to this hole in the wall

Laurie Barron B.

Yelp
Meat kabobs are always delicious. Tabbouleh is always fresh. Customer service is great.

Daniel G.

Yelp
Best Lebanese/Mediterranean food of all time! Thought we waited a little too long for our food but then we realized why! Food is done on the spot with love! Amazing Lebanese/Mediterranean food, our new spot! The place was also clean and organized.

AJ S.

Yelp
Walked out immediately. Not clean. Grease everywhere. Kitchen looked as if it hasnt been cleaned in months. Cook seemed more interested in small chat than good food.

Katey L.

Yelp
I was craving Kibbeh, due to never finding any in Vermont, while on vacation in Orlando. Customer service was excellent. The kibbeh was outstanding. I will definitely be back,

Andrew M.

Yelp
I was hoping this was going to be my "go to" neighborhood joint. The people are extremely friendly. I just did find the flavors to be strong enough. I love ethnic foods. I love the robust flavors of the mid-east and east-Asia. I'll give it another chance to see if I went on an off day.

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Food was ok, but the customer service was awful, I left them cash tip in the jar, and then went to sit outside to wait for the food. Waited for long time, and they did not even acknowledge that the food was ready. They seemed like they were racist because they would acknowledge only to their type of culture when the food was ready. I won't be back to this place, rude people and racist, and i will not recommend this place to anyone, only if you are middle eastern maybe they will be nice to you

Masae S.

Yelp
I love their foods! My good friend took me to try Habibi food. Since then I'm love with their foods. I love their Lentle soup, beef and Chicken! I love this hummus as well as tabuli. And their deserts! Baklavas are amazing! I highly recommend them! They have nice street type environment but everyone is so friendly.

Santina R.

Yelp
Great for a quick lunch! Tabouleh was good, needed more lemon zest to it. Mixed Shwarma Pita needed more flavor, maybe lemon and garlic, would bring taste out, tasted bland to be middle eastern. Baklava was on point, pistachio is my favorite. Walnut cookie needed more flavor as well, too plain. Workers were very nice, "A" for effort but more zest and flavor needs to be in their food.

Christina T.

Yelp
Hidden Gem! I can not believe I have never been here before! It's located in the Metrowest Publix shopping center. I frequent this plaza, at the minimum, once a week to do some grocery shopping, as I live less than a mile away. I was out and about with my husband and decided to grab a quick lunch. I am SO GLAD that we stopped in here. It's a scratch kitchen with vegan/vegetarian friendly options. Their menu is consistent with Lebanese and halal cuisine. I chose to try a few things off of their appetizer menu; hummus, stuffed grape leaves, falafel, lentil soup and baklava. Everything was delicious and flavorful and the staff was very friendly! My total wait time was about 5 minutes. I am looking forward to returning with my mom for dinner! I will be recommending this place! Nicely done

Clariee J.

Yelp
(4-star food, 2-star service) I'm sure most of you just care about the food, so: absolutely delicious. The roasted veggies are full of flavor, the lentil soup is perfectly seasoned and balanced, the mjudra rice has a nice flavor. The spinach pie had a different breading than I expected. I was thinking the thin flaky crust like Greek spinach pie, but this one was more of a thick bread. Didn't care for that, but the spinach filling had a wonderful lemon-y hint and it was just salty enough. The service was s o s l o w. It took over 30 minutes just to get 4 sides to-go. When I walked in, it wasn't busy. There was 1 order being worked on and one person in front of me paying for their order. I was next and since I didn't order an entree, I was really thinking I'd be in there for 10-15 minutes max since there was just 1 guy cooking and 1 woman taking orders. As I sat there, though, about 4 other workers came in (a bunch more customers, too). But no one seemed in a hurry at all. They were chatting (they're certainly friendly people) and there seemed to be some confusion for a while. The food does really taste wonderful, though. If I ever come back, I'll definitely make sure I'm in no hurry whatsoever.

Madison M.

Yelp
One of my favorite and most frequented restaurants in Orlando! The chicken shawarma is my go to, and it never fails. The falafel is always so good too! Such sweet workers, great service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!

Sergey S.

Yelp
The place is very clean and service was fast. The food was amazing! We tried chicken and beef shawarma, falafel and some sweets. Everything was very good and we will be returning for sure

Carolina F.

Yelp
Family owned and everyone is friendly. The food is so flavorful and fresh and always tastes amazing. I love coming here for lunch!

Mai A.

Yelp
Well the food was really good (well cooked and served) and service was so nice and at good speed. The only thing was that it is small place and rather sketchy, however the atmosphere was ambient :) . I would also consider it pricy a little bit , but nice experience and worth trying , lots of arabs go there as well :)

Gregory D.

Yelp
One of the local area's best. I go there all the time and look forward to going again soon.

Catherine P.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The staff members were very polite and friendly. They had a sense of urgency when preparing orders. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a chicken shawarma pita, a beef shawarma pita, and a 6 piece falafel. There was a little bit of a wait because the restaurant was busy and I did not order ahead. It was definitely worth it though because all of the food was fresh. I will certainly be ordering from here again!

Ashley L.

Yelp
I've ordered here many times but the last was very disappointing...mixed shawarma platter barely had any rice or meat and the chicken shawarma wrap was so skinny and left me still hungry. What's going on, I go here for the quality of food and good portions but I think I might reconsider before coming here again.

Robert W.

Yelp
Was craving chicken shawarma and hummus. Stopped in for lunch after driving all the way from downtown. It was worth the trip. Added on a lentil soup and left full, happy, and with some leftovers to snack on this evening. Great atmosphere, attentive employees, and a clean restroom (gotta wash those hands before eating) Worth the drive to this lovely strip mall spot in MetroWest. I will be back.

Nada N.

Yelp
The same taste of arabic shwarma I loved their food and service I have tried shwarma and mix grill plate and i really love it

Roxy A.

Yelp
Love this hole-in-the-wall Lebanese place! The food is authentic, the staff is very friendly (and actually Arab) and the food is delish! I got a kabab platter as well as a shawarma wrap. The meat in the wrap was one of the best I've ever experienced--and I've had a lot! The kabab were amazing! You can tell the taste of the meat and the way it is fired on the grill (made to order) is something worth driving crosstown for!

Billy J.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the staff was Chick-fil-A level helpful/friendly. I wish I lived closer. If I'm ever this way again I'll def be back. Good job guys!

Diego C.

Yelp
Was there for 5 minutes and no attention was given. They answered phone call after phone call and left us there waiting. The guy was on his phone while we asked for a menu. Everything about customer service was NOT there. So disappointing.

Sharon M.

Yelp
What a wonderful find!! Very reasonable, lots of food and really personable staff. Strongly recommend the chef platters that have a little bit of everything. Don't pass them up!!

Lynn T.

Yelp
Superb. The shawarma is really awesome, would definitely recommend it as well as the tabuli salad. It's a small place, so there was a short wait, but it was totally worth it.

OccasionalReviewer Z.

Yelp
Good quantity of food. We got chicken shawarma and chicken kabob plates. The chicken was tasty. However I felt the rice to be on the bland side. Most of other lebanese restaurants have mild flavor to the rice. The garlic sauce and tahini sauce were good too.

Akbar A.

Yelp
Meal Plate for 13$ was big and tasty, the only thing that was not ok is rice ( idk it was like overcooked or something) But other than it meal was good
